Neocon National Review Thrilled with Trump’s Early Appointments.

The neoconservative National Review appears thrilled with President-elect Donald J. Trump’s early and rumored appointments. The outlet hopes they signal that the America First leader will not disengage from foreign forever wars—or, as they put it, “retreat from the world stage”—after all.

In an article titled ‘Trump Might Not Lead a U.S. Retreat from the World Stage After All,’ NR senior writer Noah Rothman expresses happiness with Marco Rubio’s rumored appointment as Secretary of State, Mike Waltz’s appointment as National Security Adviser, and Elise Stefanik’s appointment as Ambassador to the United Nations.

“If loyalty matters more than the contours of any one particular policy item, we can assume that Trump’s second term will look a lot like the first,” Rothman predicts. “Beyond trade and immigration—areas where [Trump’s] passions lie—Trump’s appointees will probably have latitude to set U.S. policy. That’s making some of Trump’s true believers nervous,” he gloats, adding: “They thought they were electing the architect of America’s grand retreat from the world stage. But Trump’s cabinet picks suggest that something else is in the offing.”

Rothman believes Rubio, Waltz, and Stefanik will be “hostile toward Iran” and “inclined to take a confrontational approach toward China” and that the incoming administration’s approach to Russia may also be more aggressive than expected. He cites past statements by Waltz indicating that military aid to Ukraine could actually increase, arguing, “Threatening Vladimir Putin with the prospect of increased U.S. support for Ukraine’s defense beyond the point at which Russia can easily absorb the risk doesn’t just speak Putin’s language—it is the essence of deterrence.”

However, some in the MAGA movement are still lobbying for a course correction regarding appointments. Rubio, in particular, has less support among Trump’s base for Secretary of State than Richard Grennell, the former Ambassador to Germany.

Far-Left Guardian Offers Staff Counseling After Trump’s ‘Very Upsetting’ Election Triumph.

Following President-elect Donald J. Trump’s victory on Tuesday, Britain’s far-left Guardian is rolling out a range of mental health and support services for its devastated employees. “I know the result has been very upsetting for many colleagues,” editor Katharine Viner wrote in an email to staff. Viner noted that U.S. staff would be “most directly affected by the result” and urged international staffers to “contact your American colleagues to offer your support.”

Viner struck a dramatic tone in her email, warning that Trump’s triumph “could reverberate for a million years.” To help staff get through what she described as an “alarming” situation, Viner laid out a range of services for staff to access: British staff are to receive mental health support, 24/7 access to online doctors, and “virtual wellbeing tools,” American staff can access two Employee Assistance Programs, and Australian staff can even access “professional counselling.”

The Guardian is also moving to grift off the President-elect, with Viner writing to readers saying “it will take brave, well-funded independent journalism” to “stand up” to a restored Trump administration and asking for money to do it.

Previously, the British newspaper capitalized on The Wall Street Journal and other high-profile U.S. newspapers declining to endorse Kamala Harris, offering her full-throated support and raising around $2 million by doing so.

Kamala’s Failed Campaign Is $20 Million in Debt After Blowing $1 BILLION.

Vice President Kamala Harris‘s 2024 presidential campaign will end its failed effort to hold the White House for the Democratic Party over $20 million in debt. Federal Election Commission (FEC) data shows the Harris campaign blew through over $1 billion in just 107 days after replacing the 81-year-old incumbent President Joe Biden at the top of the ticket.

All in all, the 2024 presidential race was the most expensive in American history, surpassing both the 2020 and the 2012 elections. In the latter contest, Barack Obama and Mitt Romney raised over $1 billion.

While on paper the Harris campaign’s spending looks comparable to what Democrats have raised in recent presidential contests, the very short time frame in which it was raised and spent is telling. The high burn rate of campaign dollars only to face a resounding electoral defeat in both the popular vote and the Electoral College suggests voters were, by and large, turned off by both the party’s candidate and its message.

This notion is underscored by a study from the Media Research Center (MRC), which shows that Harris enjoyed overwhelmingly positive corporate media coverage compared to her opponent, President-Elect Donald J. Trump. According to MRC’s analysis, 78 percent of corporate media coverage regarding Harris was positive. Meanwhile, Trump received just 15 percent positive coverage—a 63-point Democratic advantage.

Positive media coverage is generally valued at three times or more the cost of an ad spot. When taken into consideration, the positive media coverage of Harris would suggest the Democratic presidential nominee could not win over voters even with a billion-dollar campaign and upwards of $3 billion in earned media coverage.

Soros-Funded Fake News Group Spent Millions Supporting Kamala on Facebook.

An alleged media organization funded by leftist billionaire George Soros spent $9 million on digital Facebook ads supporting Vice President Kamala Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign. Courier Newsroom, a Democrat dark money group that purports to be a network of local news outlets, is behind the ad campaign launched in August.

The ads primarily promote Democratic candidates, including Harris—though some also attack President Donald J. Trump over issues such as abortion and access to contraception. While Democrat and Republican political action committees (PACs) can run their own digital ads on Facebook, the social media platform labels the content as coming from a political organization and requires a disclaimer identifying the group behind the message.

However, Courier Newsroom is able to skirt this requirement by submitting its ads through a separate portal for media news outlets despite their clear partisan content. Additionally, while election and candidate PACs must disclose their donors publicly through the Federal Election Commission (FEC), Courier Newsroom is not subject to the same rules.

The Democratic dark money ad campaign has spent a total of $9.2 million since August 3, 2024, focused predominantly on the key battleground states of Arizona, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, and North Carolina. While the group’s spending may appear paltry compared to the hundreds of millions being spent on television advertising, digital ads are relatively cheap and can still reach large audiences online. In addition, Courier Newsroom appears to have used propriety data to micro-target its Facebook ads in an effort to influence young women.

In April, The National Pulse reported that Tara McGowan, founder of Courier Newsroom and its parent company Good Information Inc., had made almost 20 visits to the Biden-Harris White House. The meetings have raised concerns regarding potential election coordination.

Globalist British Mag Backs Harris.

The Economist has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election. The magazine follows another British outlet, The Guardian, in throwing its weight behind the Democratic candidate, as U.S. outlets, including The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and USA Today, opt out of making endorsements despite backing Joe Biden in 2020.

However, the endorsement is far from glowing. It notes, “It is hard to imagine Ms. Harris being a stellar president, though people can surprise you.” It says only that, unlike Trump, they cannot imagine her bringing about a “catastrophe.”

John Prideaux, the U.S. editor at The Economist, has defended the magazine’s partisan stance, arguing, “We don’t think being independent and being opinionated are in conflict with each other. Reporters have strong views on the subjects they cover because they’re experts. It’s odd to pretend they don’t.”

There may be ulterior motives for the British news outlet’s involvement in the U.S. election. The Washington Post and LA Times have seen walkouts over their owners’ instructions not to endorse, and the former has also suffered an exodus of digital subscribers.

However, when the far-left Guardian stepped in to endorse Harris, it claimed in a fundraising email that it was—in contrast to The Post and the LA Times—taking a “fearless” stand by doing so, raking around $2 million in the space of a week.

REVEALED: Daily Beast Journo Who Smeared Bannon is Nepo Baby Who Edits His Own Wikipedia Page.

The Daily Beast’s Harry Lambert, who wrote a crude hit piece on War Room host Stephen K. Bannon following his release from prison, previously occupied himself with writing his own now-deleted Wikipedia page, The National Pulse can reveal.

In 2021, observant social media users noticed that an account called Blueriverrock29 created and edited Lambert’s Wikipedia page. The account seemed solely to contribute to pages related to Lambert’s family and insert references to Lambert elsewhere.

Among Blueriverrock29’s edits was a glowing endorsement from another journalist calling Lambert “a new star in political journalism,” citing a two-year-old tweet—which Wikipedia would not typically accept as a reliable source.

Another account, BlueRiver472, added a highly posed photo of Lambert to his page, describing it as “their own work” for copyright purposes.

When another Wikipedia user added details on Lambert’s parents—the highly connected Stephen Lambert and Jenni Russel, both BBC veterans—near the top of his profile, a new user, Eagleheights162, soon appeared to delete them, perhaps sensing people would conclude Lambert owes his career to nepotism.

Political blog Guido Fawkes noted that Lambert had once been the director of a film company with an address in Eagle Heights, explaining the user name.

At some point following these embarrassing revelations, Lambert’s Wikipedia page vanished without a trace. Pages for his father and mother still exist, but any mention of him has been removed from them.

The left-wing Guardian newspaper, based in the United Kingdom, has turned usual U.S. political fundraising practices upside down. While candidates usually receive campaign contribution windfalls from newspaper endorsements or other high-profile inflection points, the Guardian is instead reaping financial rewards for backing Vice President Kamala Harris for the U.S. presidency. By doubling down on their endorsement of Kamala Harris, the newspaper was able to quickly raise an eye-popping $2 million from its readers.

A five-paragraph note sent to readers by U.S. editor Betsy Reed highlighted The Washington Post and Los Angeles Times‘s decisions not to endorse a presidential candidate in 2024. “Something these two papers have in common? They both have billionaire owners who could face retaliation in a Trump presidency,” Reed argues. She adds: “The Guardian is not billionaire-owned, nor do we have shareholders. We are supported by readers and owned by the Scott Trust, which guarantees our editorial independence in perpetuity.”

The newspaper’s U.S. editor goes on to emphasize that the Guardianunlike The Post or the LA Times—did, in fact, endorse Harris for president. She stressed: “Fearless journalism and an informed public are bedrocks of our democracy, and it is an abdication of our duty as journalists to sit out this election out of self-interest.”

While it is common for U.S. political candidates to raise money off high-profile media and celebrity endorsements, it is almost unheard of for a media outlet to raise money off their decision to endorse a candidate. However, the Guardian‘s success—generating $500,000 in three days and $2 million in a week—could change the landscape going forward.

WaPo Takes Out Anti-Trump Ads Amid Subscriber Exodus.

The Washington Post has intensified its negative coverage of former President Donald J. Trump after digital subscribers canceled memberships en masse to protest its decision not to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris. On Monday, The Post significantly increased its expenditures on digital advertising, boosting numerous articles attacking Trump on platforms such as Facebook.

The move comes after WaPo owner Jeff Bezos spiked a planned endorsement of Harris by the newspaper’s editorial board. The Amazon founder penned an editorial explaining the decision, noting that the public no longer trusts the corporate media and that steps must taken to to correct this if the newspaper is to avoid fading into “irrelevance.”

However, the partisan digital subscriber base The Post has courted were not pleased with the decision, with around a tenth of them canceling their subscriptions in protests. Numerous editorial board members and contributors also resigned, including Robert Kagan, husband of warmongering former Biden-Harris official Victoria Nuland.

Boosting anti-Trump articles online is likely an attempt to convince leftist news consumers that The Post will still be pushing an anti-Trump narrative, even if it refrains from openly endorsing his political rivals.

When explaining his decision, Bezos noted that newspaper endorsements “do nothing to tip the scales of an election,” hinting that aping a more neutral stance may leave The Post better placed to influence public opinion.

CNN Exec Says Biden Should Stand By His ‘Garbage’ Insult.

Mark Preston, a senior political analyst and vice president for political and special events programming at CNN, is pushing President Joe Biden to double down on his comments referring to supporters of President Donald J. Trump as “garbage.” Appearing early Wednesday morning on the network—which continues to struggle to retain viewership and raise revenue—Preston insisted Democrats should embrace Biden’s attack as it makes them look “strong.”

“I’m of the mindset that if you say it, you might as well just embrace it, and I do think that that’s a problem for Democrats,” Preston says, adding: “I do think if he said, listen, yeah, I do mean all those racist supporters of Donald Trump, yeah, I do think that they’re terrible. I think that people would look at the Democratic Party a little bit different.”

The CNN executive continues: “I do think that the Democratic Party, in general, doesn’t look like they are strong enough, and they will always back off of things. And I think that when Joe Biden backs off of saying what he really believes, I don’t think that’s a good look.”


Biden referred to supporters of the former Republican president as “garbage” Tuesday night during a live stream conversation with the far-left open borders group, Voto Latino. The comments drew immediate condemnation from President Trump and the 2024 vice presidential nominee, Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH).

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) actually interrupted Trump during a rally last night in Pennsylvania to break the news of Biden’s remark to the Republican candidate and his thousands of supporters in attendance.

CNN has struggled to maintain viewership and revenue growth in recent years. The National Pulse reported in May that the corporate news outlet’s prime-time ratings had hit their lowest in 30 years. Meanwhile, CNN has also been forced to abandon its digital opinion section and will introduce a paywall in the hopes of reversing the network’s failing financial situation.

Here Are The Democrat-Run Newspapers Refusing to Endorse Kamala.

Several prominent newspapers have declined to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming 2024 presidential election despite supporting Joe Biden against President Donald J. Trump in the previous election. While the Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post have received the most attention, both newspapers have been joined by numerous others in recent days, including USA Today.

The Los Angeles Times refrained from backing Harris after owner Patrick Soon-Shiong blocked a planned endorsement. The editorial board had been preparing a statement in support of Harris, with the decision not to by ownership prompting resignations.

The Washington Post has decided to discontinue endorsements for presidential candidates indefinitely. Publisher William Lewis emphasized a return to The Post’s roots, as it did not begin endorsing candidates until the 1970s. Owner Jeff Bezos—who, like Soon-Shiong, blocked a planned endorsement by the editorial board—penned an editorial on the subject warning the public no longer trust the press and that steps must be taken to stop The Post from fading into “irrelevance.” His newspaper also saw a wave of resignations and canceled subscriptions.

USA Today offered an unprecedented endorsement to Biden in 2020 but has similarly refrained from backing any candidate this year, seeking to restore an appearance of neutrality. This reflects a larger trend within over 200 outlets in the USA Today Network opting out of endorsements for presidential or national races.

Regionally, the Sun Sentinel and the Minnesota Star Tribune, both former Biden endorsers, have also opted out this cycle. The Tampa Bay Times is going even further, declining to endorse in either the presidential race or the Senate.
