Lowest Border Numbers in Recorded History.

President Donald J. Trump took a much-deserved victory lap over the weekend after illegal border crossings dropped to their lowest number on record in February, the first full month of his second term in office.

The details: Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released figures for February 2025 showing just 8,326 people tried to illegally cross the southern border.

Back up: Under Joe Biden, border apprehensions peaked in September 2023 at 269,735—8,991 per day.

Yes, you read that right. Under Joe Biden, we had more illegals coming to the country in a single day than Trump had in the entire month of February.

Trump reacts: The 47th president wrote on Truth Social: “The Invasion of our Country is OVER… Anyone who tries to illegally enter the U.S.A. will face significant criminal penalties and immediate deportation.”

The Trump effect: Droves of would-be illegal aliens are reportedly turning around and going home after learning of dramatically ramped-up border enforcement and the canceling of generous government handouts.

Deportations: Between January 21 and February 27, the Trump administration removed 55,000 illegal aliens from the U.S, according to DHS.

Debunking a Democrat talking point: The left claims deportations were lower under Trump, which is technically true — there were 67,700 removals per month in 2024. But here’s the catch:

  • Under Biden, most “removals” were just turning people away at the border, not ICE deportations from within the U.S.
  • Biden saw 200,000 illegal crossings per month—Trump had just 8,000.
  • With fewer illegal crossings under Trump, there were simply fewer people to remove.

Big picture: It took Trump one month to solve a problem that Joe Biden and Democrats refused to address in four years.

Orbán Unveils New Pro-Family Financial Support in Hungary.

Hungary is continuing its pro-family agenda, introducing tax breaks and other incentives for couples who wish to start a family. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, a longtime ally of President Donald J. Trump, reiterated his government’s commitment to pro-family policies in an address to the parliament this week.

Orbán announced that starting in October, tax deductions for children will be doubled. Additionally, mothers with two or more children will receive full income tax exemptions.

The Hungarian government plans to adjust the age limit for the “childbirth incentive loan” to 35 years, as detailed by Orbán. Under this initiative, prospective parents may apply for an interest-free loan totaling up to 11 million forints ($28,800). If a child is born within the first five years post-loan, repayments are paused for three years, with further benefits if additional children are born. Specifically, the birth of a second child brings a 30 percent reduction in the loan, while a third child eliminates all remaining debt.

Hungary’s birth rate dropped to a low of 1.23 in 2011. Through pro-family initiatives, the rate climbed to 1.61 in 2021 but fell to 1.51 in 2023 amid economic challenges arising from the Wuhan virus pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

Orbán aims to elevate the birth rate above 2.1 by the decade’s end, surpassing replacement rate.

The Prime Minister criticizes Western reliance on mass migration to mitigate declining birth rates, preferring investment in Hungary’s native population. Orbán has highlighted the significance of President Trump ininfluencing pro-family movements in the Western world.

Fired USAID Staff Given 15 Minutes to Pack Up and Leave.

Fired U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) employees face a tight 15-minute window to gather their personal belongings from the agency’s stripped-down headquarters in the Ronald Reagan Building. Security will escort the former staffers to their desks during assigned timeslots on Thursday and Friday.

USAID posted detailed instructions on its website Tuesday, outlining the retrieval process for ex-employees. “All staff and their property will undergo magnetometer and x-ray machine screening upon entry,” the notice stated. “Staff will then be escorted to their workspace, where they will be permitted to collect their personal items.”

The agency emphasized that staff must finish within their allotted 15-minute slot, though some flexibility may be allowed with approval from the Office of Security for those with substantial belongings. USAID warned that security guards or law enforcement would be on-site, and prohibited items like weapons are not allowed.

“Staff MUST bring their own boxes, bags, tape, and/or other containers to remove their personal items; these items will not be provided,” USAID instructed, adding that only personal effects, not government property or documents, can be removed.

Former employees who miss their timeslot or fail to designate a colleague to collect their items will have their belongings packed by the General Services Administration (GSA) and stored in a warehouse. “GSA cannot guarantee that personal items not claimed during this time will be free from damage or loss, but will take all precautionary measures to safeguard items,” the agency noted.

The purge follows last week’s scenes of ex-USAID staffers clearing out another agency office in Washington. The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has targeted USAID for closure, alleging it squandered taxpayer funds.

Trump Administration Surpasses 50,000 Migrant Removals, Targets Fugitives.

The Trump administration has removed over 50,000 illegal immigrants so far, according to officials with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). A number of those deported are long-standing fugitives who have avoided removal proceedings, in some instances for decades.

Ivan Oramas, 61, and Santos Maradiaga-Villalta, 40, both of whom had standing deportation orders dating back more than 20 years, are among those who have been detained and removed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Oramas, a Cuban national, was ordered deported in October 2003. He has convictions for sexual battery and aggravated assault, with the sexual battery charge involving severe injury. ICE agents in Houston apprehended him this week.

Meanwhile, Maradiaga-Villalta, from Honduras, was arrested in Phoenix. His deportation order was issued in January 2006, and he has previous convictions for smuggling aliens into the United States.

Notably, of the 50,000 illegal immigrants apprehended since President Donald J. Trump‘s inauguration on January 20, 2025, around 20,000 are said to be fugitives who have standing deportation orders. In the final year of the previous Biden government, at large illegal immigrant arrests totalled just 33,000 for the entire year.

DHS also notes that border encounters have plummeted from around 15,000 per day under Biden to just 200 under President Trump. The current rate of daily encounters is at a 15-year-low.

In his first week in office, President Trump surged resources—including military personnel—to the U.S. southern border to prevent continued illegal crossings. The measures have helped drastically reduce the number of illegal immigrants attempting to enter the country unlawfully.

BBC Forced to Apologize for Pro-Hamas Documentary Narrated by Son of Terrorist Group Leader.

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is admitting a documentary on Gaza it aired was narrated by the son of a senior leader in the Hamas terrorist group, which perpetrated the barbaric October 7 terrorist attacks against Israel. Gaza: How To Survive A Warzone is narrated by Abdullah al-Yazouri, the son of Hamas’s Deputy Agriculture Minister Ayman al-Yazouri. It cost the BBC over £400,000 (~$503,000) to develop and was produced by Hoyo Films.

“BBC News has conducted an initial review on the programme ‘Gaza: How To Survive A Warzone’. Today the BBC Board was updated on that work. It has identified serious flaws in the making of this programme,” the public broadcaster said in a statement. “Some of these were made by the production company, and some by the BBC; all of them are unacceptable. BBC News takes full responsibility for these and the impact that these have had on the Corporation’s reputation. We apologise for this.”

According to the BBC, Abdullah al-Yazouri was paid a modest sum by Hoyo Films for his narration, though they insist that neither Hamas nor any other terrorist group profited from the production. Additionally, the BBC has pledged to “undertake a full audit of expenditure” for the film.

Shortly after the deadly October 7, 2023 terrorist attacks, the BBC was forced to remove six of its reporters over their pro-Hamas social media posts. BBC News Arabic reporters, including those reporting out of Egypt and Lebanon, appeared to back the Hamas terrorist group or criticize the Jewish state in posts they either tweeted or liked. One reporter liked a message that appeared to describe Hamas terrorists as “freedom fighters.”

Blue State Under Investigation for $1.6 Billion Healthcare Scheme for Illegals.

A state audit has found that Governor J.B. Pritzker’s (D-IL) administration in Illinois has significantly underestimated the cost of providing health care to illegals in the state. The report, released by Auditor General Frank Mautino’s office, states that since 2020, these programs have cost Illinois over $1.6 billion.

The audit was conducted following a directive from the Legislative Audit Commission in 2023. Initial estimates for the program covering seniors over 65 were $224 million across three fiscal years. However, the actual expenditure reached $412.3 million, an overrun of 84 percent.

The costs for adults aged 55 to 64 soared to $223.1 million, exceeding the projected $58.4 million by 282 percent. Similarly, for those aged 42 to 54, the cost reached $262.2 million, up from an estimated $68 million.

The expected enrollment for seniors was 6,700, yet the actual number was 15,831 for the fiscal year 2023. Adults aged 42 to 54 were projected to enroll at 18,800, but 36,912 were enrolled. The 55- to 64-year-old age group saw actual numbers at 17,024 compared to an estimated 8,000.

Auditors discovered that 6,098 individuals listed as “undocumented” had Social Security numbers, and 668 people enrolled in the program for seniors were under 65.

Illinois House Republican leader Tony McCombie argued for an immediate program shutdown to relieve taxpayers. Senate Republican leader John Curran criticized the misuse of funds on ineligible recipients.

Last year, it was revealed that Democrat lawmakers in the state were forced to cut healthcare pledges due to the skyrocketing costs of funding healthcare for illegals.

Sen. Graham Urges Zelensky to Resign or Change Following Tense Trump Meeting.

U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC)—an outspoken war hawk and supporter of Ukraine—says Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky either needs to resign or change his behavior if he wants further assistance from President Donald J. Trump. The South Carolina Republican’s comments come shortly after the Ukrainian leader instigated a tense exchange with President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance during a public meeting in the Oval Office on Friday as the leaders sought to finalize a deal over rare earth minerals.

“So, what I think? Complete, utter disaster,” Sen. Graham said after leaving the White House. “At the end of the day, I was hoping that this minerals deal—which would be transformative in the relationship—would go over well. I talked to Zelensky this morning, ‘Don’t take the bait.’ President Trump was in a very good mood last night. Somebody asked me, am I embarrassed about Trump? I have never been more proud of the President. I was very proud of J.D. Vance for standing up for our country.”

“What I saw in the Oval Office was disrespectful and I don’t know if we can ever do business with Zelensky again,” the South Carolina Senator stated bluntly. “He either needs to resign and send somebody over that we can do business with, or he needs to change.”

Zelensky snapped at Vice President Vance after the latter suggested Ukraine needed to redouble its diplomatic efforts to reach a ceasefire with Russia, prompting President Trump to intervene and chastise the Ukrainian leader’s “very disrespectful” behavior. Following the meeting, President Trump issued a statement, declaring: “President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved.”

Washington Post Shake-Up by Bezos Sparks Another Wave of Cancellations.

The Washington Post has seen more than 75,000 digital subscription cancellations since billionaire owner Jeff Bezos announced Wednesday that the newspaper’s editorial page would focus on promoting “personal liberties and free markets.” According to sources, Opinion Editor David Shipley resigned immediately after the announcement, having unsuccessfully attempted to convince Bezos to abandon the plan.

For the second time in less than six months, The Washington Post has experienced a significant exodus of subscribers as the newspaper continues to suffer revenue issues. In October, over 300,000 digital readers canceled their subscriptions after Bezos allegedly blocked the newspaper’s editorial board from endorsing former Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race.

Over the past two years, the newspaper has undergone several rounds of layoffs. In November 2023, The Washington Post saw over 100 employees depart through layoffs and buyouts as it struggled to retain readership. Meanwhile, Bezos indicated further layoffs will likely be necessary in January of this year. Over the course of 2024, The Washington Post lost an estimated $100 million in revenue.

According to Bezos, the shift in editorial agenda is part of a larger effort to restore public trust in the nearly 150-year-old publication. In an editorial published last October, Bezos argued: “Most people believe the media is biased. Anyone who doesn’t see this is paying scant attention to reality, and those who fight reality lose.”

Trump Reveals Biden Believes Obama & Pelosi Engineered His Exit from the 2024 Presidential Race.

President Donald J. Trump disclosed a conversation he had with his predecessor, former President Joe Biden, in which the octagenarian Democrat allegedly pointed fingers at former President Barack Obama and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) as being responsible for his removal from the Democratic ticket during the 2024 election. The revelation came during a recent interview President Trump gave, stating that Biden relayed the details leading to his dropping out of the race during a post-election Oval Office meeting between the two.

According to President Trump, Biden—speaking softly at first—recalled some of the events that led to his exit from the presidential race, eventually becoming more emotive and blaming Obama and Pelosi for engineering it. When prompted by Trump about the role of former Vice President Kamala Harris, Biden reportedly did not attribute any responsibility to her.

“But I asked him, you know, I went to the White House a few months before this all happened… But I went there and he asked for a meeting, and I went and we talked for a little while… He talked so low,” President Trump said, adding: “And then he started getting more [emotive]. And I asked him, I said, ‘So who do you blame?’ Because he was very angry, you know, he was a very angry guy, actually. And he said, ‘I blame Barack.’ And I never think of him as ‘Barack.’ You know, you always hear ‘Obama.’ … And he said, ‘And I also blame Nancy Pelosi.’”

Both Obama and Pelosi are believed to have pressed White House aides close to Biden to pressure the 82-year-old Democrat to end his reelection bid following his disastrous June presidential debate performance.

BREAKING: Zelensky Starts Row with Vance, Trump Warns Him, ‘You’re Gambling with World War III.’

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky started a blazing row with Vice President J.D. Vance in the Oval Office during a press conference on a pending minerals deal, prompting President Donald J. Trump to intervene strongly against the Ukrainian leader’s “very disrespectful” behavior.

Addressing a question from the press, Vance said that engaging in diplomacy may be “the path to peace and the path to prosperity” before Zelensky cut in to recall the beginnings of Ukraine’s conflict with Russia in 2014 and sarcastically ask him, “What kind of ‘diplomacy,’ J.D., you are speaking about [sic]? What do you mean?”

Vance responded in strong terms, saying it was “disrespectful” to attack the Trump administration in front of the media in this way, while Zelensky continued to snipe at him about his understanding of Ukraine’s problems. President Trump lost patience when Zelensky began lecturing Vance on the negative consequences he would feel if the conflict crossed his “nice ocean.”

“Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel. You’re in no position to dictate what we’re going to feel,” Trump warned.

“You’re not in a good position. You don’t have the cards right now,” the President continued.

Zelensky shot back, saying that he was “not playing cards,” with Trump responding, “You’re playing cards. You’re gambling with the lives of millions of people. You’re gambling with World War III. And what you’re doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country, that’s backed you far more than a lot of people said they should have.”

“In this entire meeting, have you said ‘thank you’ once?” Vance asked, recalling how Zelensky campaigned for Kamala Harris in Pennsylvania in 2024.

President Trump told Zelensky in no uncertain terms he was “not winning” without American support, praising the bravery of Ukraine’s soldiers but stressing their reliance on American equipment. “Your people are dying. You’re running low on soldiers… And then you say, ‘I don’t want a ceasefire, I don’t want a ceasefire,'” he continued.

“I’ve empowered you to be a tough guy, and I don’t think you’d be a tough guy without the United States,” Trump added bluntly. “Your people are very brave, but you’re either going to make a deal, or we’re out.”
