Trump Set to Impose Tariffs on Three Major Countries Saturday.

President Donald J. Trump plans to introduce tariffs on China, Canada, and Mexico starting Saturday, according to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. On Friday afternoon, Leavitt announced to reporters that Canada and Mexico will face 25 percent tariffs, while a 10 percent tariff will be applied to China unless the countries agree to enact measures to curb the flow of illegal fentanyl into the United States.

This decision stems from Trump’s pledge to implement economic tariffs on the three to force their action to assist American operations to secure its borders, deport illegal immigrants, and end drug trafficking. “These are promises made and promises kept by the president,” Leavitt stated, highlighting that the tariff on China targets the distribution of illegal fentanyl originating from there, which has resulted in numerous American deaths.

Details on specific products subject to the tariffs remain unclear, but Leavitt indicated that more information would become available within the next 24 hours. In response, both Canada and Mexico have indicated they may retaliate with their own tariffs. Outgoing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau emphasized readiness for a response.

“It’s not what we want, but if he moves forward, we will also act,” Trudeau stated.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum assured that her country is prepared with several strategies should the tariffs be enforced. She emphasized the importance of defending Mexico’s dignity and sovereignty and called for respectful dialogue.

Trump had initially issued the tariff warning in November, urging Canada and Mexico to address drug trafficking and illegal immigration. In response, Trudeau and Trump met at Mar-a-Lago to discuss the tariffs. Trump reportedly suggested that financial difficulties from tariffs could be avoided if Canada joined the U.S. as a state.

Defense Sec Hegseth Backs Trump on DEI Following D.C. Air Disaster.

Discussing the ongoing investigation into a fatal plane crash over Washington, D.C., on Friday, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth explained that the investigation is focusing on the altitudes of the aircraft involved. He stated, “We are looking at altitude, and the president was clear about that; someone was at the wrong altitude.” However, he also addressed recent criticisms of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) hiring practices in government, raised by President Donald J. Trump following the disaster.

President Donald Trump has said the Army helicopter exceeded the 200-foot altitude limit on his Truth Social platform. He also slammed Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) diversity hiring policies aimed at recruiting people with “severe intellectual disability” and “psychiatric disability.” He said Joe Biden’s Transportation Secretary, Pete Buttigieg, had run the department “into the ground.”

Regarding DEI programs, Hegseth defended Trump’s statements: “The environment around which we choose pilots or air traffic controllers, as the president pointed out correctly yesterday, better be highest possible standard.”

“I don’t care what background they come from, what their race is, what their gender is, if they are rich or poor. I just need them to be good at their job because I need my flight to land safely,” he continued.

He noted the Biden-Harris government had “pushed real or perceived [diversity] quotas,” stressing, “We are ending all of that; it’s been made very clear across all of our services and commands, it is merit only, and this means we will get the best of the best.”

WATCH: New Videos of Black Hawk Collision Raise Safety Concerns.

Two newly released videos have intensified scrutiny over the recent American Airlines plane crash over the Potomac River. The footage shows a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter on a collision course with the aircraft despite apparently favorable weather conditions.

The incident occurred on January 29, 2025,  near Arlington, Virginia. Emergency response teams remain on site, with recovery operations shifting from rescue mode due to the absence of survivors among the 64 passengers and crew on the plane and three military personnel aboard the helicopter.

As the crash investigation unfolds, the Federal Aviation Administration’s capacity to manage national airspace has come under significant question. Calls for FAA leadership changes have arisen, with Donald Trump-allied tech mogul Elon Musk openly criticizing FAA head Michael Whitaker. President Trump has lambasted diversity policies within the FAA.

The accident occurred as the American Airlines Canadair Regional Jet Approached Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. CNN footage shows the helicopter did not decelerate or alter its course before impact. Air traffic control audio suggests confusion.

An official investigation remains in progress, with authorities working to piece together the factors that led to the tragedy.

Father of Crash Pilot Claims Black Hawk Crew Made ‘Grave Error.’

The father of one of the American Airlines Flight 5342 pilots, whose plane collided with a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter on Wednesday in Washington, D.C. says he believes the helicopter crew made a “grave error.” Timothy Lilley, father of American Airlines pilot Sam Lilley, is himself a former military pilot.

Lilley notes that visibility over the Potomac River in the nation’s capital can be difficult at night, especially if the Black Hawk pilots were using night vision goggles. “From what I can see, those guys turned right into the jet. I think the PSA jet was doing everything right. The Army pilot made a grave error. It hurts me because those are my brothers, and now my son is dead,” Timothy Lilley said in an interview with local news.

The latest revelations in the deadly air crash—in which all 60 American Airlines passengers, four crew, and three military personnel are presumed dead—suggest the Black Hawk was flying at too high of an altitude as it moved to cross over the Potomac River near Reagan National Airport. Video of the crash appears to show the Black Hawk at an altitude of around 300 feet instead of the limit of 200 feet as it turns directly into the commercial flight that was on descent for landing at the airport.

Additionally, there is some speculation that the Black Hawk pilots may have misidentified another plane as American Airlines Flight 5342, leaving them unaware of the actual incoming aircraft—despite warnings from the airport’s control tower. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has begun investigating the crash, alongside other agencies, aiming to determine the cause. An FAA report disclosed that only one air traffic controller was present at the airport during the collision, which the agency marked as “not normal.”

Soros-Owned Radio Station Exposes Identities of Undercover ICE Agents.

A radio station owned by leftist billionaire George Soros has publicly revealed the locations of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents operating undercover in San Jose, California. A KCBS 740 AM radio host disclosed details about ICE operations on January 26. The information shared by Bret Burkhart detailed the types of unmarked vehicles and the specific locations where ICE agents were present.

Burkhart cited updates from social media posts made by the Rapid Response Network, an organization opposing deportation efforts. Burkhart’s broadcast might have endangered the agents’ safety by potentially exposing their covert operations.

Soros acquired Audacy, a major U.S. radio station network, for $400 million in February 2024, including KCBS 740 AM.

The Santa Clara County pro-illegal alien Rapid Response Network initially reported these activities through its online platforms. They listed descriptions of the unmarked vehicles and disclosed locations where ICE officers were allegedly positioned.

ICE began operations under border czar Tom Homan immediately after the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump on January 20. Homan stated that ICE was prioritizing violent criminal illegals, some of whom are wanted for serious crimes like murder or child rape.

So far, ICE has arrested over 1,000 criminal illegal aliens across the country. In a recent interview, Homan stated that all illegals were on ICE’s radar, however. “It’s a crime. And that’s the way it’s supposed to be. I wouldn’t feel comfortable if I’m in Switzerland illegally. So we’re going to enforce the laws of this country,” he said.

DOJ Ends Suit Against Virginia for Removing Noncitizens from Voter Rolls.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is withdrawing its lawsuit against Virginia, initially filed by the Biden government, seeking to bar the removal of noncitizens from the Commonwealth’s voter rolls. The move comports with a number of recent legal filings ramping down the Biden government’s lawfare actions following President Donald J. Trump’s inauguration on January 20.

The lawsuit was initiated in October following Virginia’s efforts to exclude approximately 1,600 individuals identified as potential non-citizens from its voter rolls. A federal judge had previously mandated Virginia reverse this decision and reinstate those individuals onto the voter lists. However, the U.S. Supreme Court later intervened by lifting the federal judge’s injunction, effectively allowing Virginia to proceed with its maintenance program for the voter registration rolls.

This ruling enabled the state to continue its policy of excluding non-citizens from voter eligibility, aligning state and federal law.

The Department of Justice’s recent decision to dismiss its lawsuit signals an acceptance of the current legal position outlined by the Supreme Court. Without this federal case hanging over it, Virginia is now free to maintain its voter roll practices as currently implemented.

Conservative Priest Suspended for Imitating Musk’s ‘Nazi Salute.’

An American branch of the largely woke Anglican Church has revoked the priestly license of British conservative Calvin Robinson after he jokingly performed a salute similar to tech billionaire Elon Musk. Robinson, a former presenter for UK broadcaster GB News, made the gesture during a speech at the National Pro-Life Summit in Washington, D.C.

Robinson concluded his speech by quoting Musk’s phrase, “My heart goes out to you,” placing his hand on his chest before extending his arm outward in a gesture resembling the so-called Roman salute associated with Italy’s Fascists and Germany’s National Socialists, earning laughter from the audience.

This gesture mirrored Musk’s actions at President Donald J. Trump’s inauguration rally last week, which led to corporate media accusing Musk of intentionally mimicking the Nazi “sieg heil.”

Robinson is a member of the Anglican Catholic Church, which reacted strongly, describing the gesture as “trolling” and “incompatible with a priestly vocation.” The church issued a statement condemning Nazi ideologies, emphasizing the seriousness of actions that mimic such gestures. They stated that these actions are divisive and counter to Christian values.

In response, Robinson insisted that his intent was misinterpreted and that his gesture mocked liberal critics’ accusations against Musk. He emphasized the importance of context in understanding his actions.

Robinson was initially ordained by the Free Church of England. Last year, Robinson was kicked out of the Conservative Party after vocally expressing support for anti-grooming gang activist Tommy Robinson.

Grave of French Nationalist Le Pen Desecrated.

The grave of French nationalist Jean-Marie Le Pen, father of National Rally leader Marine Le Pen, has been desecrated, with vandals smashing the gravesite with a sledgehammer. The attack took place on the night of Thursday, January 30, at the Le Pen family tomb in La Trinité-sur-Mer. Police say that the cross of the tomb was completely destroyed and that other monuments to the family were also damaged in the attack.

French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau slammed those behind the attack, stating, “Respect for the dead is what distinguishes civilization from barbarism.”

Jordan Bardella, the president of the National Rally, called the act “unspeakable,” saying it was “committed by those who respect neither the living nor the dead.” The Lorient gendarmerie (paramilitary police) brigade is investigating the incident.

Jean-Marie Le Pen passed away earlier this month at the age of 96 after a prominent life in nationalist and right-wing politics. Le Pen was one of the co-founders of the Front National, which later became the National Rally.

Le Pen saw electoral success in the 1980s, winning a seat in the French parliament and later in the European Parliament. He also made it to the second round in the 2002 French presidential elections in a shock result but was defeated by former President Jacques Chirac.

THEY’LL NEVER LEARN: UK Conservative Party Defends Its Open Borders.

Britain’s Conservative Party is defending its appalling record on mass migration. Shadow Foreign Secretary Priti Patel—who was the Cabinet minister responsible for borders and immigration under former Prime Minister Boris Johnson—claims the millions of non-European legal migrants her government allowed into their country were the “brightest and the best.” Net immigration, already running at historic highs, increased fivefold from 2019, when Johnson became Prime Minister, to 2022.

Speaking to Harry Cole of The Sun, the second-generation migrant initially stressed that the Conservatives ended Britain’s participation in the Free Movement migration regime of the European Union (EU) after Brexit—which did reduce the influx from the bloc substantially. However, Cole pointed out that the increase in non-EU immigration the Conservatives engineered at the same time made up for the decrease in EU immigration many times over.

“We always said that [we would do] that in Brexit, Harry,” Patel lied, before claiming the massive surge in non-EU immigration was comprised of “skilled” migrants, the “brightest and the best.”

REALITY.

In fact, migrants on work visas comprise only a minority of the “Boriswave” immigration of recent years, and a large share of supposedly skilled migrants are in low-paying jobs—because the Conservatives slashed salary thresholds. Many more migrants are dependents of migrant workers, migrant students, and dependents of migrant students.

Asylum seekers and relatives of migrants already present in Britain brought to the country through “family reunification” chain migration number in the hundreds of thousands.

Government research estimates that, leaving aside asylum seekers and dependents, even migrant workers on low pay are an immediate net drain on society. By the time they reach the state retirement age, migrants each cost almost $200,000 more than they contribute, rising to $650,000 if they live to 80 and over $1 million if they live to 100.

Patel defended the Boriswave in part by telling Cole, “It’s legal immigration, Harry. It’s legal!” However, as Home Secretary, she also saw a record increase in illegal immigration, particularly via small boats, which is increasing further under the incumbent Labour government.

The Conservatives’ record on immigration and Patel’s decision to defend it likely explain why Nigel Farage’s Reform Party now leads them as the main right-wing political force in Britain.

In 2023, Donald Trump told Farage that he believed the Conservatives had gone “far left.”

Trump DOJ May Drop Case Against NYC Mayor Adams.

Department of Justice (DOJ) officials under President Donald J. Trump are reportedly considering dropping criminal charges against New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who faces allegations of corruption. The Democrat is embroiled in a case involving charges relating to claims that he solicited campaign contributions from Turkish nationals starting in 2018 and the lead-up to the 2021 mayoral race.

The indictment against Adams, brought by the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, claims the New York City mayor and his campaign tried to hide the illegal funding. Adams is also accused of pressuring New York Fire Department (FDNY) officials to approve Turkey’s New York consulate building in exchange for cash.

The mayor pleaded not guilty to the accusations last September and has claimed the case was retaliation from the former Biden-Harris regime over his criticism of its immigration policies.

President Trump has expressed interest in pardoning Adams, while the NYC mayor has been spotted at Mar-a-Lago and attended the inauguration earlier this month. So far, no officials from the DOJ or the Southern District of New York have publicly commented on any negotiations.

Since his inauguration on January 20, President Trump has issued many pardons, including for those who took part in the January 6, 2021, Capitol riots. He has also pardoned pro-life activists who were jailed by the former Biden-Harris regime.
