Voting Machine Errors Disrupt Voting in Another PA County.

Technical issues in part of Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, caused significant delays, holding up would-be voters in West Pittston’s Ward 2 for nearly two hours. According to the Judge of Elections for Ward 2, the machines displayed an error message when polls opened.

While technicians worked to fix the issue, around 100 voters were issued emergency ballots to complete by hand. Unlike provisional ballots, these emergency ballots are treated the same as machine-cast votes, ensuring they are counted in the final tally. By 9 AM, workers resolved the technical issue, allowing the machines to resume normal operation.

Issues with voting machines and tabulators have also been reported in Pennsylvania’s Cambria County, Michigan’s Bay County, Virginia’s Caroline County, two New York precincts, and Arizona’s Apache County, with further issues rumored elsewhere.

Additionally, polling sites in Fulton County, Georgia, were briefly abandoned after receiving several bomb threats.

VA County Switches To Paper Ballots After Machines Breakdown.

At least one voting machine in a Virginia county has been reported to have malfunctioned and shut down. The local elections board chairman confirmed that voters have been asked to switch to emergency paper ballots.

John Nunnall, Chairman of the Caroline County Elections Board, stated that the voting machine went down in the Fort Royal precinct and that the voting machine was being fixed for a second time.

Journalist Kyle Becker reports that Nunnally said he has a spare voting machine on standby and will be heading to Fort Royal to access and fix the issue.

While Virginia was a big win for President Joe Biden in 2020, polling suggests that the race between President Donald J. Trump and Kamala Harris could be much tighter in the state this year.

The report from Virginia follows multiple other reports of malfunctioning voting machines, particularly ballot-counting machines.

AZ Machines Went Down, Navajo Nation President Reports.

Voting machine issues are reportedly causing disruptions at polling locations in Apache County, Arizona, with some voters being turned away, according to Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren. In a social media post, President Nygren urged voters not to leave polling sites without casting their ballots, writing, “DON’T GET TURNED AWAY FROM THE POLLS!”

“Apache County voters, we understand that voting machines are down, and some voters are being turned away without casting a ballot in the federal and state elections,” he wrote, urging voters in areas experiencing issues to request a provisional ballot and present a government-issued photo ID to ensure their vote is counted.

“If you are denied a provisional ballot, contact the Native Vote Hotline,” he said, stressing that voters should stay at their polling location until they have voted.

REPORT: Voting Machines Went Down in Two New York Precincts.

Voting machines and ballot tabulators are reportedly not functioning in several heavily Jewish areas in New York state. A precinct in Scarsdale, New York, saw its two voting machines fail as polls opened this morning. Meanwhile, several ballot scanners in Park Slope, Brooklyn, are reportedly broken, according to locals who went to cast their vote in the presidential race on Tuesday morning.

“We were told after filling in our ballots that all scanners were broken, so we should put our ballots in the emergency ballot boxes below the scanners, and they would be scanned in late,” Park Slope resident Miyuki Miyagi said.

“I didn’t even think to wait or ask for an alternative way to vote. The emergency ballot boxes were quite full already, too,” Miyagi added.

Park Slope is also home to a significant number of the hundreds of thousands of Jews who call Brooklyn home, as is Scarsdale.  The war between Israel and Hamas has been a major issue on the campaign trail, particularly for Democrat Kamala Harris, who has a significant number of allies who are anti-Israel.

The National Pulse reported earlier this morning that Cambria County, Pennsylvania, suffered problems with its electronic vote tabulators, forcing the locality to switch to paper ballots and hand tabulation.

Trump Ally, Home Depot Founder, and GOP Mega-Donor Bernie Marcus Has Passed Away.

Bernard “Bernie” Marcus, co-founder of Home Depot and Republican Party mega-donor, has passed away at the age of 95. During his life, Marcus amassed a net wealth of around $7.4 billion and, along with Arthur Blank—the owner of Atlanta’s professional football franchise, the Atlanta Falcons—launched The Home Depot in 1978. Today, the company boasts 2,300 locations with a total market capitalization of around $400 billion and is one of the United States’s leading home improvement retailers.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, in 1929, Marcus was the youngest of four children of Russian Jewish immigrants. He pursued a degree in merchandising and marketing at Rutgers University, which led him into the retail sector. It was while working at Handy Dan Home Improvement in California that Marcus met Blank. After being dismissed from their jobs due to a management change, the two devised a plan to create a new type of home improvement store that would surpass existing options.

Marcus served as Home Depot’s CEO until 1997 and remained chairman until his retirement in 2002. The company’s roots are in Atlanta, where Marcus and his wife Billi were recognized for their philanthropic contributions. These include founding the Marcus Autism Center at Emory University and a substantial donation of $250 million towards the Georgia Aquarium in 2005.

A vocal Republican supporter, Marcus contributed financially to numerous political campaigns, including those of President Donald J. Trump and Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL). He frequently appeared on networks like Fox News to discuss his political views, particularly his concern over what he perceived as the rise of socialism. He also expressed concerns about declining work ethic and free speech in the United States.

PA County Switches To Paper Ballots After Machines Fail on Election Day.

Pennsylvania’s Cambria County has been forced to make an election day switch to paper ballots following widespread issues with voting machines in the heavily Republican locality.

The technology issue predominately impacts ballot scanners, meaning the printed electronic votes must be hand-counted for tabulation.

“The Cambria County Board of Election learned early this morning that a software malfunction in the County’s Electronic Voting System has prevented voters from scanning their ballots. This should not discourage voters from voting at their voting precincts,” Cambria County solicitor Ron Repak said in a statement early Tuesday morning. He added: “The Board has filed a Court Order extending the time to vote within Cambria County. No one should be turned away from the polls if they wish to cast their vote. Cambria County Board of Elections took measures to have IT specialists called to review the software issue. There is a process in place for issues of this nature.”

The Cambria County official claims that “[a]ll completed ballots will be accepted, secured, and counted by the Board of Elections.”

“The County Board of Elections has express voting machine at precinct locations to continue to allow voting electronically, while still allowing hand ballots to be cast,” Repak said, adding that all votes will be counted.

Meanwhile, the Pennsylvania Department of State issued a statement saying it is aware of the situation in Cambria County and is working with local officials on a solution. “Voters are continuing to vote by paper ballot, in accordance with normal operations, while the county resolves the issue with in-precinct scanning,” it said in a post on X (formerly Twitter), adding: “We are working with the County to resolve this technical matter and remain committed to ensuring a free, fair, safe, and secure election.”

Boeing Abandons DEI Policies Amid Ongoing Safety Concerns.

Aerospace giant Boeing has decided to disband its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) department, according to a report by anti-DEI activist Christopher Rufo. Rufo announced the development last Thursday on X (formerly Twitter), suggesting that internal pressures might have influenced the new CEO’s decision to shut down the department. Rufo had previously criticized Boeing’s DEI strategy, arguing that it was diminishing competence within the company.

Bloomberg News confirmed the restructuring, noting that staff from the DEI office will merge with another human resources team focusing on talent and employee experience. Sara Liang Bowen, the Boeing vice president responsible for the former DEI department, left the company in conjunction with departmental changes.

Boeing has seen a slew of scandals in recent years relating to the safety of their aircraft. The Boeing 737 Max has seen several crashes, including two that occurred within months of each other in Indonesia and Ethiopia, killing a total of 346 people.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)  identified a serious fault in 292 Boeing 777 aircraft earlier this year, noting that the faults could lead the planes’s engines to explode in mid-air flight.

Sam Salehpour, a Boeing engineer, warned the United States Senate in April that it was only a matter of time before a major aviation disaster occurred as aircraft were not being constructed to proper requirements.

Bodycam Footage Reveals Victim Had Pulse in Daniel Penny Case.

Bodycam footage showing police detecting a pulse on Jordan Neely after being placed in a chokehold was released as the manslaughter trial of Daniel Penny commenced in Manhattan on Friday. Penny, a Marine veteran, is accused of killing Neely on May 1, 2023, with a chokehold that prosecutors claim was fatal.

The incident on the New York City subway has sparked significant controversy, with far-left Black Lives Matter activists labeling it a racially motivated killing of a mentally ill black man by a white veteran. In contrast, many Americans view Penny as a protector who intervened after Neely, who had a lengthy arrest record and an active warrant for assaulting an elderly woman, made aggressive threats to passengers and threw trash at them.

The footage reveals that New York Police Department (NYPD) officers arriving at Fulton Station at 2:33 PM confirmed Neely had a pulse upon their arrival. Although initially unconscious, Narcan was administered, and CPR was initiated at 2:38 PM. Paramedics arrived ten minutes later, but Neely was not pronounced dead until reaching Lenox Health Hospital.

POLICE CONCERNS.

During trial proceedings, an NYPD sergeant explained that officers refrained from performing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation due to concerns about Neely’s potential drug use. The assistant district attorney argued that Penny maintained the chokehold for nearly six minutes after Neely had been restrained and posed no further threat.

Penny’s defense, led by Thomas Kenniff, contends that his actions were to protect others until police arrived—a response time he cited as longer than expected. His defense claims Penny attempted to relax his grip, arguing that any sustained chokehold would have rendered Neely unconscious in the first minute.

The jury, selected after a two-week process, will hear testimony from medical experts, first responders, and subway passengers. The trial is set to continue for up to six weeks.

Democrat Governor Labels Republican Voters ‘Anti-American.’

Governor Kathy Hochul (D-NY) says she believes voters who support Republican candidates oppose American values. The New York Democrat made the claim during an interview over the weekend on MSNBC‘s PoliticsNation, hosted by Al Sharpton.

Seizing on a joke a comedian made about Puerto Rico during President Donald J. Trump‘s recent rally at Madison Square Garden, Hochul explained that she’s used the incident to target vulnerable Republican lawmakers in her state. “You do not think in this great country that we should have leaders who either say this themselves or will tolerate it at one of their rallies,” the New York Governor said. “I think this rally backfired on him,” she added.

“It gave me a chance to tie the Republicans running in these seats, the incumbents, closer to Donald Trump,” Hochul told Sharpton, claiming the joke gave her the opportunity to “…remind everybody, if you’re voting for these Republicans in New York, you are voting for someone who supports Donald Trump and you’re anti-woman, you’re anti-abortion, and basically you’re anti-American.”

Vice President Kamala Harris and other leaders in the Democratic Party have smeared Trump and his supporters in the closing days of the 2024 election as “fascists” and “Nazis.” President Joe Biden, referencing the Puerto Rico joke, went so far as to call Americans who are voting for Trump “garbage” during a recent Harris campaign event.

Responding to Hochul, former Congressman Lee Zeldin (R-NY) slammed the governor’s comments in a post on X (formerly Twitter). “Quite the closing message from the so called campaign of joy: If you don’t vote Democrat, you are Nazi, Hitler loving, anti-American garbage,” he wrote.

Soros-Funded Fake News Group Spent Millions Supporting Kamala on Facebook.

An alleged media organization funded by leftist billionaire George Soros spent $9 million on digital Facebook ads supporting Vice President Kamala Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign. Courier Newsroom, a Democrat dark money group that purports to be a network of local news outlets, is behind the ad campaign launched in August.

The ads primarily promote Democratic candidates, including Harris—though some also attack President Donald J. Trump over issues such as abortion and access to contraception. While Democrat and Republican political action committees (PACs) can run their own digital ads on Facebook, the social media platform labels the content as coming from a political organization and requires a disclaimer identifying the group behind the message.

However, Courier Newsroom is able to skirt this requirement by submitting its ads through a separate portal for media news outlets despite their clear partisan content. Additionally, while election and candidate PACs must disclose their donors publicly through the Federal Election Commission (FEC), Courier Newsroom is not subject to the same rules.

The Democratic dark money ad campaign has spent a total of $9.2 million since August 3, 2024, focused predominantly on the key battleground states of Arizona, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, and North Carolina. While the group’s spending may appear paltry compared to the hundreds of millions being spent on television advertising, digital ads are relatively cheap and can still reach large audiences online. In addition, Courier Newsroom appears to have used propriety data to micro-target its Facebook ads in an effort to influence young women.

In April, The National Pulse reported that Tara McGowan, founder of Courier Newsroom and its parent company Good Information Inc., had made almost 20 visits to the Biden-Harris White House. The meetings have raised concerns regarding potential election coordination.
