Populist PM’s Health Improving Following Assassination Attempt.

Robert Fico, the populist Prime Minister of Slovakia, a European Union and NATO member, is gradually recovering after being shot multiple times by a would-be assassin, according to government and hospital officials.

“Based on the examination results, today’s medical board meeting confirmed the gradual improvement of the Prime Minister’s health condition,” the government said in a brief statement.

The attack occurred on May 15 in the central town of Handlova when Fico was greeting supporters. The assailant shot the 59-year-old premier four times at close range, striking him in the abdomen. Fico was evacuated and taken to the F.D. Roosevelt University Hospital in the regional capital of Banska Bystrica in life-threatening condition, undergoing five hours of surgery. A second operation was carried out two days later.

The suspect, detained at the scene, has been officially identified only as Juraj C. The 71-year-old has been charged with premeditated murder, though he claims he only intended to injure Fico, not kill him.

Hungarian leader Viktor Orban, an ally of Fico, described Fico’s attempted assassin as a “left-wing activist.” He implied the Slovak was targeted because, like Orban himself, he opposes ongoing Western involvement in Ukraine’s war with Russia, favoring a negotiated peace.

Pro-Ukraine social media users reacted to Fico’s shooting by expressing hope Orban would be targeted next.

WATCH: Rashida Tlaib Urges Muslim Revolt Against Biden.

Representative Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) has told voters to reconsider their support for Joe Biden in the upcoming 2024 presidential election, declaring, “You are an enabler, President Biden!” at the People’s Conference for Palestine in Detroit, Michigan – a key swing state with a large, traditionally Democrat-voting Muslim population.

Biden said “what’s happening [in Gaza] is not genocide” at a Jewish American Heritage Month event on May 20.

“[W]e aren’t going to forget in November, are we?” Tlaib told her Michigan audience. “The International Court of Justice just ruled that the Israeli government must stop its invasion of Rafah. But, President Biden says what’s happening in Gaza is not a genocide. Where’s your red line, President Biden?” she demanded.

Gaza has become an intractable issue for Biden, who has historically claimed to be a Zionist and is aware that Israel has broad support over Hamas among many donors and ordinary voters. However, among Muslims and many younger voters, who were key support bases for the 81-year-old in 2020, anti-Israel sentiment is common.

He has attempted to placate each faction by saying there are fine people on both sides, but with limited success. His support among younger voters has plummeted, and Muslim voters are increasingly saying they will not vote for him even if Donald Trump is also supportive of Israel.

“You’re really asking me whether I’m going to take a [travel] ban or a genocide? I’ll take a ban.” said Palestinian-American comic Amer Zahr in April.

Democrats Signal SCOTUS Sabotage Attempt.

Evidence is mounting that the media flag hoaxes against Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito are about undermining the top court’s independence and undercutting its conservative members in order to convict Donald Trump. Democratic lawmakers and leftist lawyers have been pushing for Justice Alito to be prevented from ruling on cases related to January 6 and presidential immunity, and calling for an “ethics code” that would empower Democratic lawmakers to pursue spurious impeachment proceedings against conservative justices.

Jamie Raskin, the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee and a former law professor, has declared that “if and when [the Democratic Party] win back the House, the Senate, and the White House, we will look at the Supreme Court and figure out what can be done about that extremely corrupted and contaminated body.”

He has found allies in Democratic Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, who approvingly quotes his call to action, concurring: “Yes, we will, brother. Yes, we will.”

Specifically, Raskin proposes increasing the number of Supreme Court justices to 13, which would likely see the current conservative majority overturned. The number of justices presidents can appoint is limited to two—meaning a re-elected President Trump could not make any more—and their terms are limited to 18 years.

NOT ABOUT ‘ETHICS.’

A proposed “code of ethics” for the Supreme Court, pushed by Raskin and his allies, is more insidious. While demanding justices be held to ethical standards seems innocuous, in practice, it would empower Democrat lawmakers to influence the court despite its constitutional status as a branch of government co-equal with Congress.

The Alito Flag hoax has involved partisan media members framing old news about the Alito family flying an upside-down U.S. flag and an Appeal to Heaven flag – branded “real sick stuff” by MSNBC host Chris Hayes – as an ethics issue, indicating the justice is a January 6 sympathizer or outright insurrectionist.

In fact, the corporate media has known for years that Alito’s wife raised the upside-down flag over a neighborhood dispute. The Appeal to Heaven flag is a patriotic symbol flown from American naval vessels by America’s first President, George Washington.

Nevertheless, leftist lawyers such as Laurence Tribe are demanding the flag incidents, dating from 2021 and 2023 but elevated by the press now for political purposes, be used to forcibly recuse Alito from ruling on Trump’s presidential immunity, as Joe Biden’s Justice Department is attempting to imprison him.

The “regulation” of the Supreme Court through an ethics code imposed by the legislature would make it much easier for politically motivated “ethics” issues to be used to influence rulings in this way.

Biden Plans to Use White House Resources to Attack ‘Convicted Felon Donald Trump.’

Joe Biden’s team is strategizing on how to exploit potential guilty verdicts in Donald Trump’s lawfare trials. The 46th President plans to “initially address [a guilty] verdict in a White House setting — not a campaign one,” in the hope that politicizing his office will “show his statement isn’t political,” according to POLITICO.

The paper’s sources say Biden’s team will argue that a conviction shows Trump will demonstrate “the extremes to which the former president would go to win again.” Biden’s social media team is considering leveraging the line of attack further by branding the former president “Convicted Felon Donald Trump.” However, martyring Trump in this way may backfire, with many voters already believing the prosecutions are politically motivated.

Joe Biden’s Justice Department leads two, while the other two are led by Democratic District Attorneys, one, Georgia’s Fani Willis, mired in conflict scandals, and another, Manhattan’s Alvin Bragg, assisted by a former senior Justice Department official – whose decision to transfer to a comparatively low-level DA’s office is seen as suspect, and possibly evidence Biden’s Justice Department has directly assisted the prosecution.

Biden will get his first chance to brand Trump a felon when a verdict is delivered in Bragg’s lawfare case, with closing arguments set for Tuesday. Star witnesses Stormy Daniels, a retired sex worker, and Michael Cohen, a disbarred perjuror, imploded on the stand, but with Manhattan being heavily Democratic and the Democrat-linked judge, Juan Merchan, having stopped Trump’s lawyers from calling a key witness, an initial conviction is possible, even if it is likely to be overturned on appeal post-election.

Migrant Crime

THIS WEEK IN ‘MIGRANT CRIME’: Child Killers, Gun Runners, & FAKE Robbers.

Media outlets such as the New York Times continue to deny Donald Trump’s warning that the U.S. is seeing the emergence of “migrant crime” as a “new category of crime… worse than any other form of crime.” The National Pulse has reviewed the last seven days and found many standout cases vindicating the former president.

TWO DEAD CHILDREN.

Israel Alejandro Gonzalez-Arcinega, 40, is in United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody pending deportation after he drunkenly mowed down and killed an eight-year-old boy and his five-year-old sister and hospitalized their parents.

The Mexican was arrested for the crime in Meriden, Connecticut, in 2013 and convicted for a range of serious offenses, including vehicular manslaughter. He was sentenced to a notional 12 years in prison, plus five years’ probation, in 2014. An immigration judge authorized his deportation in May 2015.

Nevertheless, the Democrat-controlled Connecticut Department of Corrections ignored a detainer against the killer and released him back onto the streets on April 2 without even notifying deportation officers. He remained at large for weeks but was detained on May 1.

“His actions shattered a family. We cannot allow unlawfully present convicted felons to victimize the residents of our communities,” complained ICE field office director Todd M. Lyons.

PEDOPHILE ‘GOTAWAY.’

ICE confirmed the arrest of a Salvadoran pedophile on Tuesday. They did not name the illegal — covering up identifying information has become a worsening habit of the agency under Joe Biden — but confirmed he was convicted of raping a person under the age of 15 in New York.

The Salvadoran told the authorities he “unlawfully entered the United States April 10, 2022, at a place not designated as a port of entry… thus he was not inspected, admitted or paroled into the United States by an immigration official.”

This makes him a so-called “gotaway” — a category of illegal alien often missed in immigration statistics that has tripled under Biden.

SECOND-CHANCE DRUNK DRIVER KILLS TEEN.

Antonio Antonio Rodas, 29, has been charged with murder after smashing into a car driven by Adam Luker, 19. The illegal alien was hurtling down an Alabama road the wrong way at 88 miles per hour, with an alcohol level three times the legal limit, when he struck the teenager’s vehicle.

Rodas had been charged with driving under the influence already in 2021 but was not deported.

“If [Rodas had been deported], then this would have never happened,” said an attorney for the slain teen’s family. “You know, the federal government has access to all of the, you know, information about arrests and that kind of thing,” he complained.

EVERY STATE A BORDER STATE.

Hiuder Pedro Javier Sacul-Caal, a 21-year-old illegal alien with a drunk driving record and at least one prior deportation from the United States under his belt, has been charged in Virginia for raping a minor.

Just weeks prior, former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki sneered at Virginians for rating immigration their number one issue: “You’re thinking, like, what?” she sputtered to MSNBC colleague and Russiagater Rachel Maddow in March.

“Well, Virginia does have a border with West Virginia!” Maddow jeered.

However, Sacul-Caal is just one of many illegal aliens charged with serious crimes in the Old Dominion this year.

GUN-RUNNING GANG MOM.

Ingrid Vanessa Duque-Morales faces deportation proceedings after being charged with shipping firearms from Florida to Colombia.

The 33-year-old, linked to the El Mesa Y Pachelly crime organization, was arrested at her daughter’s house for allegedly shipping AR-15s, Scorpion carbines, Ruger pistols, or parts for them out of Miami, disguised in air conditioners.

She is already at large again, despite her illegal alien status, after being able to post bond.

THIRTY-EIGHT ‘EGREGIOUS’ OFFENDERS.

ICE confirmed on Thursday it had netted 38 illegal alien criminals convicted of or charged with a range of “egregious” crimes in an April operation.

It did not name the migrants, identifying only a handful by age and crime. However, they include a Honduran convicted of felony rape, false imprisonment, and “perverted practice,” who was previously deported under Trump in 2017. They also include a home invader, a money launderer, and a Dominican convicted of child sex offenses.

COMMITTING CRIME BY FAKING CRIME?

One of the more bizarre examples of migrant crime uncovered by The National Pulse involves a gang charged with staging “hundreds” of fake armed robberies across Chicago.

Five men have been charged with a string of “professionally” orchestrated armed robberies in the Windy City, using stolen cars, swapped plates, and “advanced planning.”

Law enforcement became suspicious of the robbery spree, which spanned “two or three nights a week for at least two years,” as a result of the sums being stolen — “[m]ost victims had only a few dollars with them” — and the immigration status of the victims.

Illegals who are victimized by criminals become eligible for so-called “victim visas” preventing their deportation, and the authorities believe the Chicago “robberies” were organized to abuse this policy.

They were not totally without danger, however. At least one store clerk was shot by the “robbers” after he discharged his firearm during one of the “robberies,” seemingly by accident.

‘Renegade Royals’: King Charles Considers Stripping Harry & Meghan of Titles.

King Charles III has discussed the possibility of stripping Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their royal titles. The conversation reportedly involves lengthy discussions with Prince William, who is said to share concerns about potential backlash.

The titles of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex became a point of contention following their departure from official royal duties and subsequent move to the United States. This development led to widespread calls for the couple to be stripped of their titles. Sources indicate that King Charles has recently revisited this issue with Prince William, though the decision remains unresolved.

King Charles and Prince William “have had lengthy discussions about stripping Meghan and Harry of their royal titles, but they are terrified this would backfire and make the situation worse,” said Royal author and expert Tom Quinn.

During their recent tour of Nigeria, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle prominently used their titles, with seating labeled “Duke” and “Duchess,” which has reignited the controversy.

“The last thing they want is to give the renegade royals something else to complain about,” Quinn said. He noted that even if their titles were revoked, Meghan and Harry would likely continue their activities, retaining a significant public following worldwide.

After stepping back from senior royal duties in 2020, the couple ceased to be referred to as “His Royal Highness” and “Her Royal Highness” but retained their Duke and Duchess titles. This year, they strengthened their association with the Royal Family by relaunching their website, Sussex.com, which features their titles and a coat of arms.

The couple’s barely concealed distaste for the Royal Family and pursuit of profit led a Conservative Member of Parliament to introduce a bill last year to strip them of their royal titles.

Biden’s Special Counsel Wants New Gag Order to Stop Trump Critiquing FBI.

Joe Biden’s partisan special counsel, Jack Smith, has demanded a court order to restrict former President Donald Trump from making further statements regarding corrupt FBI agents. In papers filed Friday, Smith asked U.S. District Judge Aileen M. Cannon to intervene after Trump suggested that FBI agents were “complicit in a plot to assassinate him.” This request comes in response to statements Trump made earlier this week, which Smith argues have endangered the agents involved in the case. There is no evidence of Smith’s claim.

The motion before Judge Cannon is part of an ongoing legal battle involving Trump and federal agencies. Trump’s relationship with federal law enforcement has been contentious, marked by frequent public critiques from both sides.

Smith’s request requires Cannon to make a determination on the appropriateness of Trump’s public statements. The outcome could have significant implications for how public figures discuss ongoing legal matters and the protections available to law enforcement officials.

Putin Again Presses For Ceasefire.

Russian President Vladimir Putin says his country is prepared to accept a negotiated ceasefire in its invasion of Ukraine along current battle lines but will continue hostilities if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the country’s Western allies decline. In recent weeks, the Russian military has managed several critical breakthroughs along Ukrainian defenses and captured more territory than Ukraine took in its 2023 counter-offensive.

The Russian leader is rumored to be frustrated with U.S. and British efforts to dissuade Ukraine from accepting a negotiated settlement to the conflict and President Zelensky’s refusal to engage in talks. “Putin can fight for as long as it takes, but Putin is also ready for a ceasefire—to freeze the war,” an unnamed senior Russian official told Reuters.

“Let them resume,” Putin said at a press conference in Belarus on Friday, adding that Ukraine must accept “the realities on the ground.” Meanwhile, Putin’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, stressed that Russia does not want “eternal war.” The recent comments from Russian officials, as well as Putin, appear to indicate they are satisfied with their recent territorial gains and can sell a ceasefire as a victory at home.

Responding to Putin in a post on X (formerly Twitter), Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said Russia was sending “phony signals” in an effort to derail peace talks initiated by his government slated to start next month in Switzerland. Kuleba wrote: “Putin currently has no desire to end his aggression against Ukraine. Only the principled and united voice of the global majority can force him to choose peace over war.”

Zelensky adviser Mykhailo Podolyak accused Putin of demanding Western democracies capitulate and accept their defeat.

WaPo Debunks NYT: Alito’s Upside Down Flag Was Over ‘Neighborhood Dispute, Not Politics.’

In a rare move, the Washington Post has debunked the New York Times over its story regarding the upside-down U.S. flag being flown over Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito’s home in 2021. A Post reporter had visited the Alito’s at the time of the incident, enquiring about the flag, but finding nothing more than a neighborhood dispute. The Post explained Saturday:

The Post decided not to report on the episode at the time because the flag-raising appeared to be the work of Martha-Ann Alito, rather than the justice, and connected to a dispute with her neighbors, a Post spokeswoman said. It was not clear then that the argument was rooted in politics, the spokeswoman said.

The Post even takes a dig at left-wing Democrats who have been attempting to use the issue to force Justice Alito off cases as a result:

Since the Times article, dozens of Democratic lawmakers and some legal experts have called for the justice to recuse himself from the 2020 election-related cases, saying the upside-down flag outside his home raises questions about his impartiality or creates the appearance of bias. He has drawn rebukes from some Republicans as well.

For now, the neighborhood remains quiet, and no other disturbances have been reported. Further details may emerge as the situation develops and more information is made available.

WATCH: Trump Slams ‘Mobs of Migrants Giving America the Middle Finger’ in ‘Third World’ New York.

Donald Trump took aim at the “radical left pro-crime policies” that have reduced his hometown of New York City to a shell of its former self at a diverse and well-attended rally in the Bronx.

“Throughout my life, I’ve seen New York through good times and bad,” Trump said, recalling boom times, market crashes, terrorist attacks, and more.

“But I’ve never seen it quite like this. We have filthy encampments of drugged-out homeless people… We have lunatics killing innocent bystanders by pushing them onto the railroad tracks for sport… Our subways are squalid and unsafe, the ceiling tiles are falling down, and they look worse than a Third World country,” Trump lamented.

“The medians of our highways are crumbling; our sidewalks are littered with garbage: bottles and trash, but worst of all, the discarded needles from people that so desperately are in need of help,” he continued.

“And we have mobs of migrants fighting our police officers and giving America the middle finger,” he added.

“But we are not going to let this continue… Together, we are going to Make New York City Great Again, and simultaneously, we are going to Make America Great Again,” he vowed, earning sustained chants of “USA! USA!” and “We love Trump!”

Pledging to support law enforcement and be tough on crime, Trump urged rally attendees to remember that “black, Hispanic, [and] Asian people need this protection and safety more than anyone else.”

Stances like this have seen the former president earn the support of thousands of predominantly Hispanic-owned bodegas, which have suffered as a result of criminal-friendly policies, such as cashless bail, that Trump has heavily criticized.

The former president was already within ten points of Joe Biden in the Empire State, traditionally a Democratic stronghold, in November.
