Lawmakers Vote to Ban Disposable Vapes.

A bill to ban disposable vapes has been passed by Members of Parliament (MPs) in Britain, marking a significant legislative step toward reducing youth vaping. The bill, presented as an urgent measure by Health Secretary Wes Streeting, of the Labour Party, secured the backing of 415 members, while 47 opposed it.

The legislation introduces several key provisions, such as limitations on vape packaging and a prohibition on vape flavors that are particularly attractive to children, for example, cotton candy. Furthermore, it suggests expanding the cigarette smoking ban to specific outdoor areas. Initially presented by Rishi Sunak’s Conservative government in January 2024, the measure has been revived by the current Labour government, which took power in July.

Among those voting against the bill were new Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch, former Home Secretary Suella Braverman, and 33 other Conservative MPs. “Surely we should be promoting the concept of freedom with responsibility and allowing people to make choices about their own lives?” argued the party’s Andrew Rosindell MP.

Additionally, seven Liberal Democrats and all four MPs from Nigel Farage‘s Reform Party also opposed the bill.

In Parliament, Streeting emphasized that the bill also aims to progressively raise the legal tobacco sale age annually, moving toward a smoke-free generation. The bill also extends an existing indoor smoking ban to various outdoor locations, subject to consultation. These include school and hospital premises and playgrounds.

Vaping in Britain has surged by 400 percent over the past decade, with approximately 9.1 percent of the population partaking.

Black Man Banned from Sport for ‘Racism’ Against Other Black Man Playing Sport.

A soccer fan has received a three-year ban from attending games over a social media post. Charles Ogunmilade, 28, posted the message on X, formerly Twitter, on April 21, 2023, after a Premier League match between Arsenal and Southampton ended in a 3-3 draw. The post referenced a missed shot by midfielder Thomas Partey, with Ogunmilade writing disparagingly about Partey using a racial slur.

Ogunmilade, who is of Nigerian descent himself, defended his post in City of London Magistrates’ Court, stating it was intended as a joke among friends rather than a racist attack. He claimed that the comment was a coping mechanism for dealing with actual racism that supposedly infests soccer. He added that his message was a “thoughtless joke” shared after a private conversation.

Prosecutor Suleman Hussain sought a “football banning order” due to concerns that the message could incite racial hatred and inspire further abuse towards Partey and other black football players. Magistrate Shaoni Myer sentenced Ogunmilade—who, again, is black—to a fine, considering his early guilty plea and previous good character, but emphasized the necessity of the banning order due to the public nature of the post.

As part of the banning order, Ogunmilade must surrender his passport when England plays abroad.

The court had been contacted by police nearly ten months post-incident. Ogunmilade pleaded guilty to using a public communication network to send an offensive message, admitting his social media action was inappropriate.

MSNBC Claims It Had No Idea Kamala Paid Al Sharpton $500K Before On-Air Interview.

MSNBC claims it was initially unaware of Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign payments to network host Al Sharpton‘s National Action Network non-profit before his interview with the 2024 Democrat presidential nominee. The group received $500,000 through two payments from the Harris campaign on September 5 and October 1.

The donations were made public weeks before his interview with Harris on October 20. During the interview, which many have described as softball, Sharpton praised Harris and criticized now President-elect Donald J. Trump. The timing of the contributions has drawn criticism from journalists questioning the network’s journalistic integrity.

In the aftermath, MSNBC has faced backlash, including from the Society of Professional Journalists, which criticized the network for lacking transparency about potential conflicts of interest. The organization emphasized that this type of entanglement diminishes Sharpton’s and MSNBC’s credibility.

An MSNBC spokesman stated that the network was “unaware” of the donations to Sharpton’s non-profit. They declined to address whether any action would be taken against Sharpton, citing a policy of not commenting on personnel matters.

Former Congressman John Linder called the Harris-Sharpton MSNBC interview effectively a “campaign commercial.” Meanwhile, hedge fund manager Bill Ackman alleged the payments were attempts to  “manipulate the audience” when Sharpton interviewed Harris on MSNBC.

The controversy has sparked discussions about the ethical responsibilities of media organizations and their contributors. The network has previously taken similar actions, including suspending Joe Scarborough and Keith Olbermann in 2010 for making political donations.

MSNBC’s ratings collapsed after the 2024 election, with its flagship morning show, Morning Joe, losing nearly 20 percent of its audience. The flagging viewership has led parent company Comcast to consider selling the network, and Elon Musk has expressed interest in purchasing it.

Judge Rules U.S. Muslim Group Must Disclose Donors.

A U.S. magistrate judge has ordered the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to disclose its financial records, which could reveal alleged foreign and terrorism-connected funding sources. This decision followed a defamation lawsuit that CAIR had initially filed against a former employee, Lori Saroya, but subsequently withdrew. Saroya then filed a counter-defamation suit against CAIR, leading to the recent court ruling by U.S. Magistrate Judge David Schultz.

In the original suit, CAIR accused Saroya of suggesting through social media and emails that the organization received funding from terrorist entities. However, CAIR abandoned this legal action amidst concerns that discovery could require them to reveal donor identities. In her suit, Saroya claims CAIR’s motivations were to intimidate her from speaking out, and now the discovery process could require CAIR to provide detailed financial disclosures.

Judge Schultz notes, “The thrust of CAIR’s allegations against Saroya in the 2021 complaint is that Saroya falsely implied CAIR received funding from foreign governments and terrorists when she stated CAIR accepted ‘international funding through their Washington Trust Foundation.’”

The judge acknowledges, “CAIR points to no public admission that it received funding from terrorists or that it received funding through the Washington Trust Foundation. ” However, the judge contends, “discovery into these matters is proportionate to the needs of the case.” Schultz concludes, “CAIR has not shown that the burden or expense of the proposed discovery outweighs its likely benefit or that it unwarrantedly taxes its resources.”

Jeffrey Robbins, Saroya’s legal counsel, described the ruling as a significant legal reversal for CAIR. The organization must present evidence regarding its fundraising practices, including any foreign funds, the management of donor money, and its treatment of employees related to harassment claims.

The National Pulse previously reported the Biden-Harris government was forced to distance itself from CAIR after its executive director, Nihad Awad, defended Hamas’s October 7 terrorist attacks against Israel. Awad wrote in social media posts following the deadly attacks that Palestinians have a “right to self-defense,” insinuating the acts of terrorism were justified. Additionally, Awad asserted that Israel is an “occupying power” and does not enjoy a similar right.

Trump Spox Denies Plan to Remove *ALL* Transgender Troops.

The Trump transition team has refuted a report from The Times, which claimed that President-elect Donald J. Trump is considering an executive order to remove transgender individuals from military service and bar new transgender recruits. The British newspaper cited unspecified defense sources, claiming that the order, which would be more extensive than previous policies, could be issued on Trump’s first day back in office.

Karoline Leavitt, a spokesman for the Trump transition team, responded to the claims, stating that the sources cited by The Times are not credible. She emphasized that no decisions have been made and that any confirmed policy would come directly from Trump or his official representatives.

President Barack Obama’s administration had permitted transgender troops to serve openly, access gender reassignment procedures, and update their gender in Pentagon records. Trump’s Defense Secretary nominee, Pete Hegseth, intends to eliminate policies related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) introduced over the past decade, beginning with the Obama administration.

During his first term in office, President Trump did announce he would be banning transgenders from serving in the U.S. military, noting the medical costs associated with sex change operations and hormone therapy. This policy was reversed under President Joe Biden within his first week in office.

Other Republicans have also pushed back against the transgender agenda since President Trump’s election victory as well, including Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC), who has introduced legislation to ban biological males from women’s bathrooms and other spaces.

Biden Wants to Give One Last BJ to Big Pharma…

Joe Biden wants to give as much as $35 billion to Big Pharma companies so that weight loss drugs like Ozempic would be covered by Medicare and Medicaid. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced the move on Tuesday, November 26.

HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra described the proposal as a favorable development for those dealing with obesity. Recent figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) indicate that over 40 percent of U.S. adults aged 20 and over are classified as obese, with nearly 74 percent being overweight to some degree.

According to estimates, federal coverage of these medications could impose a financial burden of up to $35 billion over the next ten years.

The proposed policy would apply to individuals with a body mass index of 30 or above. Currently, some patients receive coverage through Medicare or Medicaid if they have diabetes or are at risk for other conditions.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who must approve the new rule if confirmed, has previously criticized these weight-loss drugs, suggesting that addressing dietary issues could resolve health challenges like obesity and diabetes.

Novo Nordisk, the producer of these drugs, faces criticism amid reports of various side effects and a rise in emergency room visits linked to the medications.

Following President-elect Donald J. Trump’s announcement of RFK Jr. as HHS head, stocks of Big Pharma companies, particularly ones linked to vaccine production, fell in trading.

RFK Jr. will require Senate confirmation, though senators on the Senate Finance Committee have benefitted from Big Pharma spending to the amount of at least $6.9 million.

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins Returns to WH Beat as Network Struggles to Save Cash.

CNN has announced that Kaitlan Collins will return to her previous role as Chief White House Correspondent while continuing to host her show, The Source. The move comes as the corporate news network continues to struggle to retain viewership under Mark Thompson’s leadership. Collins will divide her time between New York City and Washington D.C., re-entering the White House briefing room where she also previously served as a correspondent for The Daily Caller.

Collins, known for her hostility to then-President and now-President-elect Donald J. Trump, often found herself barred from White House events over her media stunts. Concerningly, on multiple occasions, Collins has exposed her own lack of knowledge of basic political history. The National Pulse reported last year that the CNN anchor appeared utterly oblivious that alternative electors had been used in past U.S. elections.

CNN’s primetime lineup, which is comprised of AC360 with Anderson Cooper at 8 PM, The Source with Kaitlan Collins at 9 PM, and CNN NewsNight hosted by Abby Phillip at 10 PM, has notably lacked significant programming and direction under Thompson’s leadership. It remains unclear what additional value having Collins continue to host The Source and cover the White House brings the network other than perhaps a degree of cost savings, as Collins commands a salary of $3 million, similar to prominent figures like Jake Tapper.

As Collins resumes her White House duties, CNN’s D.C. bureau also sees a leadership shift. David Chalian, former Yahoo! News bureau chief, now oversees CNN’s Washington operations.

WATCH: Alec Baldwin Blasts Americans as ‘Uninformed’ in Post-Trump Victory Meltdown.

Hollywood liberal Alec Baldwin—who recently stood trial for involuntary manslaughter for the shooting death of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins—says his fellow Americans are “uninformed,” referencing those who backed President-elect Donald J. Trump during the 2024 race for the White House. The actor made the remarks during a press conference at the 42nd Torino Film Festival in Italy.

Baldwin, whose involuntary manslaughter trial came to an abrupt and stunning end by being dismissed over prosecutorial misconduct, argued that his fellow countrymen possess a limited knowledge of global issues such as climate change and the Ukraine conflict.

“There’s a hole, a vacuum… a gap in information for Americans,” Baldwin says in a clip shared on X (formerly Twitter). The actor continues: “Americans are very uninformed about reality, what’s really going on—climate change, Ukraine, you name it. The biggest topics in the world, Americans have an appetite for a little bit of information.”

Baldwin adds: “You know what’s going on from the news, but information in America is driven by money. It’s a business.”

The 66-year-old actor and Democratic Party activist goes on to contend that Hollywood fills the educational gap through its big-budget and independent films. Despite Baldwin’s assertion, box office revenue has decreased by about 22 percent over the past five years as Americans are increasingly turned off by the industry’s penchant for pushing far-left propaganda.

Since the involuntary manslaughter trial and dismissal, Baldwin had stepped back from public appearances for a period. However, the leftist actor has recently begun promoting new film projects and even appeared on a recent episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, performing a less-than-convincing impression of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Would-Be Trump Assassin Sends Letter to Media Revealing Obama, Iran-Linked Shooting Motive.

Ryan Routh, the gunman accused of attempting to assassinate President Donald J. Trump at one of his golf courses in Florida, has sent a letter to the corporate media from his federal detention facility, revealing his political motivations. Addressed to POLITICO and other outlets, the letter sharply criticizes Trump’s foreign policy, particularly his withdrawal from President Barack Obama’s Iran nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Routh bizarrely accused Trump of destabilizing the Middle East, parroting the Iranian regime and Democrat Party talking points, and blaming Trump for “all those lives lost and all the destruction.”

In the letter, Routh called for peace in the region, urging Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken to negotiate with Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. “We must demand that Israel stop their attacks and find common ground,” he wrote, positioning himself as a critic of U.S. foreign policy under Trump.

The JCPOA, in fact, emboldened Iran and its proxies, and Routh is known for his long-standing fealty to the Islamic Republic, though his personal connections are not yet known. In 2018, he wrote to the Iranian government: “You are free to assassinate Trump.”

While disavowing direct allegiance to the Democratic Party, Routh referred to Trump as a “dictator,” echoing Democratic and media talking points. In the letter, he aligned his rhetoric with common anti-Trump arguments, warning of civil war and advocating for limits on presidential power. Despite disclaiming party affiliation, his attacks mirrored Democratic critiques of Trump’s policies and leadership style.

Routh also linked himself to Thomas Crooks, who was killed earlier this year during another assassination attempt on Trump. Both men, he claimed, were “ready to die for freedom and democracy.” Though he avoided a direct confession, Routh referred to himself repeatedly as the “Trump Alleged Shooter.”

Prosecutors Say Illegal Migrant Planned MORE Attacks After Chicago Shooting.

A 22-year-old man from Mauritania, Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi, faces multiple charges following an October 26 shooting incident in the West Rogers Park area. Authorities allege Abdallahi conducted the attack against a Jewish man on his way to a synagogue and later fired at police and paramedics. During a court hearing on Friday, Assistant State’s Attorney Anne McCord Rodgers described the attack as part of a larger, “calculated plan” targeting the Jewish community.

Abdallahi, who entered the U.S. two years ago, reportedly used his cellphone to map out locations of synagogues, Jewish schools, and community centers prior to the shooting. Prosecutors disclosed the phone contained antisemitic content and searches related to gun stores and firing ranges. Surveillance footage from the scene in the 2900 block of West Farwell Avenue captured the incident in which the victim heard a gunshot and felt a shoulder injury but initially did not realize he had been shot.

After the attack, there was public criticism directed at local officials for not classifying the incident as a hate crime or terrorism. The assailant reportedly shouted “Allahu Akbar” during the attack, as captured in a viral video. Following the initial shooting, Abdallahi returned to the scene and engaged in a confrontation with the police, firing at officers and paramedics attending to the victim.

Judge Susana Ortiz, citing the severity of the charges, including attempted murder, hate crime, and terrorism, ordered Abdallahi to remain in detention. He appeared in court for the first time after being hospitalized for injuries sustained during the shoot-out with law enforcement.
