EU Spent $100M On Pipelines That Hamas Turned Into Rockets.

The European Union (EU) spent $100 million of taxpayer funds on building over 30 miles of water pipelines for Palestinians in Gaza, despite Hamas having bragged about their ability to turn the piping materials into makeshift rockets online.

The EU participated in a number of initiatives between 2015 and 2022 to ensure Palestinians have fresh water, including working alongside UNICEF to install an 11-mile pipeline to Khan Yunus and Raha in southern Gaza.

Footage emerged, in 2021, of Hamas fighters digging up the pipes and fashioning them into rockets to launch over the border into Israel. Despite this, the EU bankrolled another 10 miles of pipelines in 2022.

The main missile used by Hamas – an internationally recognized “terrorist organization” – is the Qassam rocket, which is assembled using industrial piping along with chemicals and explosives.

“There must be prudent security assessments before giving taxpayers’ money to Palestinian organizations for infrastructure that can be utilized for military ends by Hamas terrorists,” argued Frank Furedi, executive director of the MCC Brussels think tank.

“Those running EU diplomacy are naive,” he added.

The BBC Won’t Call Hamas ‘Terrorists’ Because They Think It Means They’re ‘Picking Sides’… Which They Do On Literally Every Other Topic Anyway.

The BBC has defended its decision to refer to Hamas terrorists as “militants” amid criticism from Defence Secretary Grant Shapps, declaring it is “an editorially independent broadcaster whose job is to explain precisely what is happening ‘on the ground’ so our audiences can make their own judgment.”

Shapps had said the BBC’s behavior was “verging on disgraceful… they’ll always say, well, there’s two sides [but] what Hamas have done, as a proscribed terrorist organisation, meaning that they are illegal in Britain, it’s illegal to support them, is to have gone out and slaughtered innocent people, babies, festival-goers, pensioners.”

“They are not freedom fighters, they are not militants, they are pure and simple terrorists and it’s remarkable to go to the BBC website and still see them talking about gunmen and militants and not calling them terrorists,” he added.

BBC presenter John Simpson, speaking in a personal capacity, spelled out the broadcaster’s position clearly in a post on X (formerly Twitter), claiming “British politicians know perfectly well why the BBC avoids the word ‘terrorist’, and over the years plenty of them have privately agreed with it.”

“Calling someone a terrorist means you’re taking sides and ceasing to treat the situation with due impartiality,” he said, insisting “ranting” is “not what we do.”

The BBC does appear to “take sides” in terms of its language in many other areas, however, referring to groups such as the Islamic State and al-Qaeda as “terrorists”, for example.

BBC partiality is also clear in other areas, with the broadcaster referring to abortion advocates by their preferred “pro-choice” terminology while refusing to refer to pro-life advocates as anything but “anti-abortion,” for example.

Every Briton who watches lives television, even if none of it is BBC content, is forced to fund the broadcaster through a license fee.

DATA: Americans Don’t Seem to Mind Who Trump Picks as VP.

A strong majority of former President Donald Trump‘s grassroots supporters – 57 percent – are not concerned about his choice for his running mate in the 2024 presidential election, according to a recent Rasmussen Reports survey.

Rasmussen pollsters offered those surveyed a number of options for Trump’s potential Vice President, including whether they would be more inclined to vote for the 45th President if he chose a female, black, or non-political running mate. No option received more than 15 percent support.

Only 13 percent answered they were more likely to vote for Trump if he selected a female candidate. Eight percent said choosing a black person would make them more likely to support Trump next year. And a further 15 percent argued they were more likely to vote for him if he chose a “non-politician as his vice presidential running mate.” The remaining seven percent answered “not sure.”

The former President himself has toyed with the idea of a female vice president in his next administration, telling an interviewer in September, “I like the concept, but we’re going to pick the best person.”

EU Split Over Palestinian Aid.

The European Union’s pledge to suspend €691 million ($728 million) worth of aid to Palestinian territories following the Hamas terror raid on Israel appears to have unravelled, with the governments of France and other EU member-states voicing public opposition.

Hungary’s Oliver Varhelyi, the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, had said all payments to Palestinian territories, comprised of Hamas-controlled Gaza and the West Bank, were “immediately suspended” due to the “scale of terror and brutality against Israel and its people” over the weekend, which Varhelyi called a “turning point”.

France, which along with Germany is the European Union’s dominant power, appears to disagree, however, with Emmanuel Macron’s government announcing on Tuesday it is “not in favour of suspending aid which directly benefits the Palestinian populations” and has “made this known to the EU Commission.”

The Irish government, too, seemed surprised by Verhelyi’s announcement, saying: “Our understanding is that there is no legal basis for a unilateral decision of this kind by an individual Commissioner and we do not support a suspension of aid.”

They were backed up by Belgium, Luxembourg, and Spain.

Notably, Verhelyi put out his announcement through his own social media, not the European Commission’s central communications office. The European Commission now says “[t]here will be no suspension of payments” – though it claims a review of the aid portfolio will still be carried out.

Live In a Mud or Grass Hut to Save the Planet, Says UN.

Humans across the world have to “move aggressively” from carbonized building materials, such as concrete, glass, and steel, when building their houses to so-called eco-friendly, regenerative materials to save the planet and combat climate change, suggests a report recently published by the United Nations (UN).

The German government-funded report argues that the world has to stop extracting and producing raw materials as “[t]he built environment sector is by far the largest emitter of greenhouse gases, responsible for at least 37 [percent] of the global emissions.”

Instead, houses should be constructed out of more environmentally friendly, “bio-based” materials, such as bamboo and agricultural and forest detritus, meaning sticks, leaves, mud, and whatever else can be scavenged from the ground. The UN justifies the radical switch by claiming in the report that “[b]efore the 20th century, the vast majority of cultures built large buildings and cities out of indigenous earthen, stone and bio-based materials – timber, cane, thatch, and bamboo.”

The UN accepts deep within the report that a shift from carbonized materials is likely to have “unintended consequences” to both ecosystems and labor practices, with major gains and losses inevitable as industries transition. Yet, the organization is willing to accept those risks provided it moves the world towards the international goal of “net zero.”

BREAKING: Northern Front Opens Against Israel as Hezbollah Launches Attacks.

A new front appears to have opened against Israel as the Lebanon-based Hezbollah terror group launches strikes against the Jewish State.

UPDATE: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed the “large-scale” intrusion into Israeli airspace was a “false alarm”. Spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said “[t]here was an error, and we are investigating it – we will check if it was a technical fault or human error.” Original article continues below:

Air raid sirens have sounded across the north of the country amid reports of dozens of drones and possibly paraglider-borne infiltrators entering Israeli airspace.

Ma’alot Tarshiha issued a terrorist infiltration alert, but later cancelled it and issued an all-clear. Citizens have been advised to continue to shelter in reinforced rooms, however, as the status of the supposed drones, which set off dozens of alerts, is still to be determined.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had previously said they received a report “regarding a suspected infiltration from Lebanon into Israeli airspace.”

Smaller-scale skirmishes and exchanges of artillery and missiles have been taking place between the IDF, Hezbollah, and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group over the last several days, with casualties on both sides.

This story is developing…

Biden

Biden Was Being Grilled on Classified Documents During Hamas’ Israel Attacks.

Joe Biden was being interviewed as part of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into the discovery of classified documents in his Delaware home and private office at the Penn Biden Center, formerly run by Antony Blinken, as Hamas was unleashing an unprecedented attack on Israel from the Gaza Strip.

The White House has confirmed the 80-year-old Democrat was answering questions about the presence of classified documents in an office closet and in boxes near the spot in his garage where he kept his Corvette over Sunday and Monday, apparently voluntarily.

Biden’s possession of classified documents has received relatively little legacy media attention, and has been investigated much less aggressively than Donald Trump keeping similar material at his Mar-a-Lago estate – despite the fact Biden, as a former vice president and senator, did not have the same authority to declassify sensitive material as Trump.

The timing of Biden’s interview, in the midst of the international crisis following a huge incursion by Hamas terrorists into Israel and a devastating Israeli response, is unusual.

Trump has accused Biden of taking his eye of the ball in the Middle East, empowering state sponsors of terrorism such as Iran and “tossing Israel to the bloodthirsty terrorists and jihadists”.

Mayor of America’s First Muslim Majority City Council Declares ‘No Peace’ With Israel.

The Mayor of Hamtramck – America’s first Muslim-majority city council – Amer Ghalib, responded to the past week’s events in the Middle East with a pro-Hamas message insisting: “Peace can never coexist with occupation and injustice, anywhere and at anytime، no matter how strong the oppressor or how weak the oppressed is!”

Mayor Ghalib, who became the Hamtramck’s first mayor without a Polish background for a century in 2021, added there “are enough lessons from history for some people to learn this principle.”

The Michigan city has undergone a radical demographic transformation due to mass migration – Ghalib is himself a Yemeni migrant.

Like Ghalib, most of the city councilmen have a history of posting anti-Israel or outright anti-Semitic content online. Councilman Khalil Refai, for example, has referred to Israelis as “Zionist criminals” and called on Allah to help Muslims “plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people” in Israel. Councilman Mohammed Hassan, meanwhile, has shared images depicting Jewish people as monkeys, and denounced Israel as “the real terrorist!!!”

There are similar issues elsewhere in Michigan, with Dearborn’s Mayor Abdullah Hammoud responding to the Hamas attack with a long social media post suggesting the mass murder of Israeli civilians was the “inevitable” consequence of the “occupation”.

WATCH: Hannity Brutalizes Dumbfounded RFK.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK) was left startled in his latest interview with Sean Hannity after the Fox News host bombarded the newly declared Independent candidate for the 2024 presidential election with a number of questions about his overall fealty to left-wing political causes and candidates.

Hannity, explaining the potential for a three-way race in next year’s election, told RFK Jr. he had researched his background and concluded that he is “pretty liberal.”

“[Y]ou’ve called for curbing logging, oil drilling, fracking. You wanted to eliminate it. You called it… a victory for democracy. You wanna curb U.S. fossil fuel extraction. “Keep it in the ground,” you once tweeted. You want a ban on fossil fuel extraction, a ban on fracking. You called the NRA once, a ‘terror group,'” Hannity stated.

“You supported, over the years, Democrats – Gore, Kerry, Obama, Hillary. You praised Bernie Sanders multiple times. You support affirmative action. So, why is this party of yours– why didn’t they want to allow you to compete? ‘Cause that’s as pretty liberal of a record as anybody I know,” the Fox News host added.

RFK Jr tried to dismiss the summary as a “litany of talking points… I’ve made over 40 years,” yet Hannity fired back at the claim, telling the lifelong Democrat that the statements were from the past decade. The two went on to discuss Kennedy’s comments on the National Rifle Association (NRA) and fracking, among other issues.

Since declaring his candidacy, RFK Jr has courted a number of conservatives due to his strong stances on issues, such as vaccine mandates, COVID-19 policies, and ending U.S. involvement in forever wars.

He announced his independent run on Monday, much to the chagrin of his former party members and even his own family, who collectively called it “dangerous to our country.”

Zelensky Warns of ‘Consequences’ of Israel War Diverting Attention from Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned “[i]f international attention turns away from Ukraine, it will have consequences” in light of the global outrage at the barbaric surprise attack against Israel by the Hamas terrorist group. Zelensky made the remarks during an interview with France 2.

Zelensky told the French television network Russia is in desperate need for a pause in order to reorganize and move more equipment, soldiers, and weapons to the front in Ukraine. He said he feared the shift in focus among world powers form the conflict in Eastern Europe to the new conflict in the Middle East risks giving the Russian military the “break” they need. The Ukrainian leader added speculation a pause in aid to Ukraine would allow Russia to expand its war and attack Eastern European NATO neighbors.

In an effort to tie Russia to the horrific attacks by Hamas – which governs the Gaza territory – against Israel, Zelensky accused the Russian military of providing support for the Islamist terror group. The Ukrainian leader said he believes it was in Russia’s interests to start World War III.  Just two days ago, the Biden White House floated a $100bn aid package for Ukraine, in an effort to fund the war until the 2024 presidential election and avoid any potential impasse with Republican congressmen.

The Israeli military has mobilized for a full scale war against Hamas in Gaza. Yoav Gallant, the Israeli defense minister, has ordered a “complete siege” of the Gaza Strip, vowing: “There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed.”
