Rand Paul: ‘Smoking Gun’ Ties Fauci to Wuhan Lab Creation of COVID.

Sen. Rand Paul says a 2018 grant proposal seeking funding to experiment with a COVID-19-type virus is the “smoking gun” linking Dr. Anthony Fauci and the National Institutes of Health to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following recent disclosures by a Marine Corps whistleblower, Senator Paul flagged a 2018 grant proposal linked to 15 federal agencies that could have enabled the Wuhan Institute to develop a COVID-19-like virus.

“We only found out about this from a whistleblower — nobody else in government ever informed us, including Anthony Fauci,” Paul said. He alleges the “smoking gun” ties him and the NIH to the 2018 grant proposal, leading to the possibility that NIH and NIAID were part of research that could have potentially resulted in the COVID-19 virus.

The grant proposal, labeled “DEFUSE Project,” was submitted to the Department of Defense’s research agency, DARPA, and reportedly incorporated NIAID’s Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Montana, yielding suspicions of Fauci’s knowledge and involvement. Paul has called for more information from each agency involved by April 23.

The grant proposal’s existence suggests Fauci may have lied directly to Congress. “Sen. Paul, I have never lied before Congress and I do not retract that statement. This paper that you are referring to was judged by qualified staff up and down the chain as not being gain-of-function,” Fauci said during a 2021 Senate hearing. “Sen. Paul, you do not know what you are talking about, quite frankly.”

While the DEFUSE project was not federally funded, according to Paul, Fauci and others were allegedly aware of Wuhan lab’s continuance in related microbial research. This brings into sharper focus the early insinuations of COVID-19 being a laboratory leak, and the subsequent dismissal of the hypothesis by prominent voices like Fauci, who derided it as a conspiracy theory.

Jack Smith Blasted for ‘Failure’ to Address Opposing Arguments.

Judge Aileen Cannon, who is presiding over DOJ special counsel Jack Smith’s prosecution of former President Donald Trump over allegations he mishandled classified documents, chided the Biden government attorney multiple times for failing to respond to arguments made by opposing parties in an April 9 court filing. While Judge Cannon agreed to Smith’s motion asking the names of witnesses in the trial be redacted, she accused the special counsel at least eight times in her ruling of having failed to respond to objections raised by a coalition of press organizations who weighed in against Smith’s motion.

“The Special Counsel had two opportunities to raise these arguments and failed to do so in both instances. The Special Counsel’s initial Seal Request failed to offer a governing legal framework or any factual support for the relief sought,” Cannon wrote in her ruling. She continued: “Later, in response to the Press Coalition’s Motion, the Special Counsel failed to engage with — let alone refute — the Press Coalition’s argument that the First Amendment attached to the subject materials.”

The judge also criticized Smith for failing to comply with the court’s rules regarding the sealing of sensitive filings. “And this is to say nothing of the Special Counsel’s failure to comply with this District’s Local Rules on sealing, which the Court has emphasized repeatedly throughout this proceeding,” Judge Cannon wrote.

Prior to this most recent ruling, the relationship between the special counsel and Judge Cannon had already been under strain. Last week, the two tangled over the judge’s order requesting both Smith and attorneys for former President Donald Trump submit draft jury instructions, including arguments about the potential applicability of the Presidential Records Act. This latest episode suggests that the judge’s opinion of Smith may have fallen even further.

Judge Reviewing Prince Harry’s Immigration Papers.

Prince Harry’s U.S. visa application has come under scrutiny following a Freedom of Information Act request for his immigration papers, fueled by questions around whether he was forthright about his abuse of drugs, including cannabis, cocaine, psychedelic mushrooms, and ayahuasca.

The Heritage Foundation has been seeking to discover whether Prince Harry, who detailed his use of narcotics, including on U.S. soil, in his memoir Spare, received preferential treatment from the government.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has now submitted to a court request for the royal’s papers so they can be privately reviewed.

With the DHS and the Heritage Foundation dueling over whether the papers are protected by privacy regulations or of sufficient public interest to be released, Judge Carl Nichols has mandated an in camera review to establish whether or not they should be exempt from release.

Heritage says it has brought the case “in the main because HRH [His Royal Highness] voluntarily — and for immense profit — admitted in writing to…  any number of controlled substance violations.”

Donald Trump has suggested Prince Harry could be deported under a second Trump administration if he lied on his visa application.

Media Continues to Peddle Federal Abortion Ban Conspiracies Despite Unequivocal Trump Statement.

The corporate media is continuing to peddle falsehoods aimed at riling up abortion activists in an attempt to swing November elections for Democrats, with a new article in the Washington Post claiming the practice could be banned at the federal level under a second Trump term, despite the 45th President making an unequivocal federalist argument just days ago.

In his initial statement on abortion, Trump confirmed his personal support for exceptions in cases of rape, incest, and when the life of the mother is at risk. He also expressed his belief that, constitutionally, the issue should be decided according to “the will of the people” on a state-by-state basis.

“People forget, fighting Roe v. Wade was, right from the beginning, all about bringing the Issue back to the States, pursuant to the 10th Amendment and States’ Rights. It wasn’t about anything else,” he wrote.

“We had a Great Victory, it’s back in the States where it belongs, and where everyone wanted it. The States will be making the decision,” he added.

“Republicans are now free to run for Office based on the Horrible Border, Inflation, Bad Economy, and the Death & Destruction of our Country!”

Trump has frequently stressed people must follow “their heart” on abortion. However, he has warned conservatives that they must “win elections” to have any positive impact on the country at all.

Pushing for total or near-total bans on abortion, which does not enjoy broad public support, is likely to frustrate this larger goal, according to most polling.

Biden’s Secret Migrant Flights to New York Are Responsible For City’s Fiscal and Public Safety Crisis.

The Biden government secret migrant flights continue to play an outsized role in New York City‘s ongoing illegal immigration-fueled fiscal and public safety crisis. While Mayor Eric Adams (D) continues to try and lay the blame squarely with Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) — whose state has bussed 37,000 illegal immigrants to the sanctuary city — he’s conveniently ignored the 33,000 who’ve arrived via the Department of Homeland Security flight program. All in all, the busses sent by Abbott account for about 25 percent of NYC’s illegal immigrant population, while the Biden government’s flight program accounts for about 22 percent.

According to the Center for Immigration Studies, the secret Biden government immigrant flight program allows for so-called asylum seekers to take direct flights from certain countries into the United States, with final destinations including New York City. Despite clear evidence suggesting President Biden’s lack of border enforcement contributes significantly to New York’s crisis, Mayor Adams continues to scapegoat Governor Abbott — rather than confronting the potential impact of the Biden government’s immigration policies.

Adams has claimed the ongoing crisis could ‘destroy’ the city. In February of this year, the New York Democrat declared that the city was “out of room.” The National Pulse previously reported that drone footage has revealed a massive tent city in Brooklyn constructed by New York City officials to house over 2,000 illegal immigrants.

Since the implementation of the Advanced Travel Authorization Program in January 2023, the DHS has reportedly approved the arrival of over 386,000 immigrants directly from foreign airports. This program, designed primarily for Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan immigrants, has been expanded to include five other nationalities. A separate Biden government program has seen an estimated 420,000 immigrants arrive from over 100 countries at eight U.S. ports of entry over the past year.

Yes, The Collapsed Baltimore Bridge May Be Renamed Because It Was ‘Racist.’

The Caucus of African American Leaders voted to petition Governor Wes Moore to rename the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge once it’s rebuilt. Including organizations such as the NAACP and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, the Caucus argues the current namesake — author of the national anthem — held ‘racist’ views.

The Caucus claims that Key wrote lyrics that “demeaned black people” and proposed that the overhauled bridge bear the name of Parren J Mitchel, Maryland’s first black congressman.

Governor Moore, responding to a query about renaming the bridge, stated that his current priorities were closure for the victims’ families and getting the channel cleared. ”I think any other conversations along those lines, there will be time for that, but now’s not the time,” he said.

In addition, the Caucus is pushing to rename the Senator Frederick Malkus Memorial Bridge, highlighting the Senator’s opposition to desegregation efforts. They suggest the bridge be renamed to honor Gloria Richardson, a Maryland civil rights champion.

The Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed in late March after a cargo ship allided with one of its support pillars.

You’ve Been Giving Much More to Ukraine Than You Were Told.

A group of Republican lawmakers on Capitol Hill are accusing President Joe Biden‘s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) of significantly underestimating the amount of aid sent to Ukraine. In a letter to Biden’s budget agency, Sens. J.D. Vance (R-OH), Roger Marshall (R-KS), Rand Paul (R-KY), and Mike Lee (R-UT) — along with several other lawmakers — detail evidence suggesting the previous Ukraine aid estimate of $111 billion is off by at least $14 billion. They contend the actual cost of aid is closer to $125 billion and could even exceed $129 billion.

Sen. Vance and his colleagues also allege the Biden government has stonewalled their transparency efforts, making it increasingly difficult to determine the cost of U.S. aid packages sent to the Eastern European country. They note that their initial request for OMB to provide the cost of Ukraine aid took nearly eight months to fulfill — and even then, the agency only provided an incomplete data set.

“The deficiencies in OMB’s response were numerous,” the Senators wrote to the agency’s director, Shalanda Young, on Tuesday. They noted the OMB data did not include “base appropriations for the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative” and “omitted the administration’s ‘$6.2 billion in ‘freed-up’ authority’ to send weapons to Ukraine.”

In May of last year, The National Pulse reported that the Biden government had changed its method for determining the value of military equipment in an effort to allow them to claim they were spending less than initially claimed on Ukraine. The Pentagon originally valued weapons in terms of their replacement costs. By moving to an accounting system where they valued weapons in terms of cost when they were purchased and depreciated, they have been able to argue military aid to Ukraine has been overvalued.

Sheila Jackson Lee ‘Clarifies’, She Wants to Live on the SUN, Not the Moon, Blames Republicans.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) has “clarified” that she was actually asking whether or not she could live on the sun, not the moon. Her comments came after she was widely lampooned for discussing whether or not human beings could live on the moon, which, she claimed, “is made up mostly of gases.”

Speaking at Booker T. Washington High School in Houston, the Texas Congressman told her audience, “sometimes you need to take the opportunity just to come out and see a full moon is a complete rounded circle, which is made up mostly of gases,” adding: “could we as humans live on the moon? Are the gases such that we could do that?”

Jackson Lee received significant mockery for the speech, as it is common knowledge the moon is not “made up mostly of gases” and is uninhabitable. Now, however, she insists she “[o]bviously misspoke and meant to say the sun, but as usual, Republicans are focused on stupid things instead of stuff that really matters.”

“What can I say though, foolish thinkers lust for stupidity!” she added.

The sun, however, is still more uninhabitable than the moon, being a ball of gas and plasma with no solid surface, burning at around 10,000 Fahrenheit (5,600 Celsius) on its surface and 27,000,000 Fahrenheit (15,000,000 Celsius) at its center.

Any human attempting to approach the sun would be killed by its intense heat and radiation millions of miles before reaching it.

REVEALED: More Diddy Links to MeidasTouch Founders, Described as Biden’s ‘Front Line.’

Kenny Meiselas, the father of the three brothers who founded the MeidasTouch group, was introduced to his current wife by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, a.k.a. Puff Daddy, the hip hop mogul now accused of sexual assault and sex trafficking.

Meiselas — whose sons Ben, Brett, and Jordy started the “bloodbath” hoax and are described by Joe Biden’s White House as the “front lines” of the campaign against Donald Trump — is a celebrity attorney and has worked with Combs for decades.

Combs reportedly played a highly active role in pairing him with Beth Katz Meiselas, a publicist to the likes of Jennifer Lopez. He took the attorney shopping for Cartier sunglasses and Versace suits to help make the match.

Combs also played a crucial role in paving the way for Ben Meiselas, Kenny’s son from a previous marriage, to enter politics. He took the younger Meiselas on as an intern, where he worked with Combs’s team on a voter registration drive in 2004 and attended the Democratic convention.

Ben eventually parlayed this nepotistic posting into an internship with then-Senator Hillary Clinton.

Biden’s DOJ Refuses to Give Audio of Biden’s Special Counsel Interview to Congress.

Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) is refusing to hand over audio of his interview with special counsel Robert Hur to House Republicans. The DOJ explained its decision in a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) on Monday.

“Indeed, by the Committees’ own measure, the Department has met your stated informational needs. The Department has produced the two classified documents you requested, the transcripts of the Special Counsel Office interviews of the President and of Mark Zwonitzer that you requested, and the correspondence regarding the Special Counsel’s report that you requested,” wrote Assistant Attorney General Carlos Uriarte.

“The Department is concerned that the Committees’ particular focus on continuing to demand information that is cumulative of information we already gave you—what the President and Mr. Hur’s team said in the interview—indicates that the Committees’ interests may not be in receiving information in service of legitimate oversight or investigatory functions, but to serve political purposes that should have no role in the treatment of law enforcement files,” the letter says.

Uriarte claimed that the Judiciary and Oversight Committees do not need the audio recording, expressing his concern that turning over the audio could dissuade other witnesses from cooperating in similar investigations in the future. House Republicans had subpoenaed the DOJ for the recording, threatening Attorney General Merrick Garland with contempt of Congress proceedings if the audio was not provided.

Hur’s report regarding his interview with Biden — which explained his decision not to bring charges against the octogenarian President — described his as an “elderly man with poor memory.” Biden “couldn’t recall” specific information almost 150 times throughout the interview, forgetting things at a rate of once every two minutes.
