President Joe Biden’s son Hunter has pleaded not guilty to three felony gun charges, potentially leading to a highly public trial while his father is in the midst of a reelection campaign.
Special Counsel David Weiss previously brokered a plea deal with Hunter Biden’s legal team, effectively dropping the gun charges, relating to unlawful possession of a firearm while abusing illegal drugs and lying on official forms, as part of a diversion agreement, in exchange for a guilty plea to misdemeanor tax crimes.
This “sweetheart deal” fell apart when Delaware judge Maryellen Noreika, a Donald Trump appointee, began to interrogate the questionable way the tax crime plea deal and gun crime diversion agreement tied together, and the extremely broad immunity they appeared to grant the First Son from prosecution for other crimes.
Hunter may now face tax-related charges in the future, with prosecutors also suggesting potential charges related to his overseas business activities, including violations of foreign lobbying laws.

A Fox News journalist is moonlighting as a board member for a pro-United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) charity, raising concerns about objectivity in her coverage of the illegal immigration crisis at the U.S. southern border.
Aishah Hasnie, the network’s congressional correspondent, serves on the board of the non-profit organization ‘USA for UNHCR’ which is closely linked to the UNHCR itself – the United Nations agency tasked with aiding so-called refugees.
Based in Washington, D.C. and established in 1989, USA for UNHCR purports to work “…with refugees from their greatest time of need – from emergency or crisis and beyond through the months and likely years that many are displaced from their home countries.”
The charity’s financial disclosures reveal that it primarily acts as a fundraising vehicle for the U.N.’s High Commissioner for Refugees itself. In 2022, USA for UNHCR reported just over $234 million in revenue, with $182 million passed on as grants to the United Nations. The charity’s website even blurs the lines between their organization and the official U.N. refugee agency, listing U.N. efforts as if they were their own, and even replicating their logo.
Billionaire globalist Rupert Murdoch – who recently stepped down as chairman of Fox News’s parent company – has long been an advocate of loose restrictions on immigration. Over the years he hasurged U.S. lawmakers to end special visa quotas and enact a pathway to citizenship for those who entered the country illegally.
Pakistan-born Hasnie joined Fox News in 2019 and was named as the network’s congressional correspondent in August of 2021. She joined the board of USA for UNHCR on December 20th, 2021. In an interview in late 2021, Hasnie described herself as “a deeply faithful person. I’m Muslim, and I pray five times a day.”

An attempt by the corporate news outlet POLITICO to add ‘context’ to an incident where the Canadian parliament honored Yaroslav Hunka, a Ukrainian World War II veteran who served in a Nazi Waffen SS unit, is drawing accusations of white-washing war crimes and Holocaust revisionism.
Keir Giles, a British writer and research director with the Conflict Studies Research Centre, believes that because Hunka’s invitation to the Canadian Parliament was a score for a Russian “propaganda,” history needs to be revisited to soften the genocidal work of the Waffen SS.
Giles laments the lack of “nuance” in the media regarding the Hunka scandal, worrying it legitimizes Russian accusations that Ukraine collaborates with modern Nazi movements. He argues Hunka was likely placed in the Waffen SS for administrative rather than ideological reasons and insinuates the infamous Nazi military unit’s “primary task” was not in fact to commit genocide.
POLITICO has drawn sharp criticism for Giles’s portrayal of the Nazi Waffen SS. In a post on X (formerly Twitter) journalist Mark Ames blasted the corporate media outlet: “Politico now running straight-up Holocaust revisionism & Waffen SS whitewashing, even slandering Simon Wiesenthal…”.
Politico now running straight-up Holocaust revisionism & Waffen SS whitewashing, even slandering Simon Wiesenthal—because Canada's shame urgently needs pr hitmen to run cover & deflect. You expect to see this in Willis Carto's journal, but damn @politicohttps://t.co/jnM8pbU4vs
Giles sarcastically responded to accusations he downplayed the Waffen SS’s role in the Holocaust in an effort to defend Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, posting on X (formerly Twitter): “Spot on. I [checks notes] accept genocide in order to protect my fellow progressive leftists like Trudeau.”

Representative Enrique ‘Henry’ Cuellar, a Texas Democrat, was carjacked by three armed men just one mile from the U.S. Capitol in Mayor Muriel Bowser’s D.C., around 9:30 p.m. on Monday.
Cuellar, a supporter of the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, was approached by the gang while parking outside an apartment building in the Navy Yard neighborhood, which houses dozens of Congressmen. The 68-year-old was also deprived of his cell phone and iPad at gunpoint.
“Luckily, he was not harmed and is working with local law enforcement,” said the Democrat’s chief of staff, Jacob Hochberg.
Other victims of crime in the American capital, where Democrats have total control over the mayor’s office and city council, were less fortunate last night, with the D.C. Police Department posting about two shootings and one stabbing.
Suspect descriptions were conspicuously absent from reports on the Cuellar carjacking by the BBC, CNN, NBC, and other legacy media outlets, but a neighborhood alert confirmed they were “three black males”.

Josh Kruger, a progressive activist and reporter who defended the soft-on-crime policies of District Attorney of Philadelphia Larry Krasner, was murdered in his own home Monday morning. Responding to reports of a shooting around 1:30 a.m., police found Kruger, 39, with seven gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen. He was declared deceased at 2:13 a.m.
Kruger described himself as a “he/him” on his X bio, as well as declaring his HIV positive status. He previously worked for the City of Philadelphia.
In a July essay for The Philadelphia Inquirer, Kruger criticized popular convenience store chain Wawa for citing “safety concerns” as the reason for a series of store closures in the city. The store closures, he argued, were driven by corporate greed and inaction by the Philadelphia police department rather than the Soros-backed District Attorney’s policy of not prosecuting “many low-level crimes like shoplifting.”
Critics on social media pushed back against Kruger, arguing District Attorney Larry Krasner had allowed crime to spiral out of control and ruin the city. Kruger dismissed the criticism in a post on X (formerly Twitter) saying, “…just because Larry Krasner keeps winning in landslides doesn’t mean Philly is a heap of cinders and ashes no matter how much people say. Like the rest of the country we are dealing with upticks in crime.”

Philadelphia has been plagued by petty crime under District Attorney Krasner. The Pennsylvania state legislature attempted to impeach and remove Krasner from office in 2022 but their efforts were blocked by a ruling from the state’s Commonwealth Court. Last week the city suffered two days of riots and looting after a judge dismissed charges against a police officer accused of killing Eddie Irizarry.

Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban has suggested the European Union’s plans to initiate negotiations for Ukraine’s accession to the bloc this year are going nowhere, due to longstanding issues with Ukraine’s repression of its Hungarian minority and the fact it is actively at war.
Orban said it is unrealistic to begin the accession process with a warring Ukraine, not least because the full extent of its effective territory is impossible to determine.
Importantly, the EU has a mutual defense clause, similar to but slightly vaguer than the NATO mutual defense clause, which raises the prospect of European Union member-states being obliged to join the war on Ukraine’s side – without America – if it enters the bloc.
Orban explained that Hungary’s parliament would need to approve Ukrainian EU membership, and he did not feel a strong desire within the chamber to do so within the next two years, as long and difficult questions still need to be answered.
Hungary’s skepticism towards Ukraine’s EU membership is rooted in the rights of the ethnic Hungarian minority in the Transcarpathia region of western Ukraine; a product of multiple border shifts throughout the 20th century.
Like the ethnic Russian population in Ukraine, they have been subjected to what the Hungarian government regards as poor treatment, with restrictions imposed on their native language being used in schools, and Hungarians harassed and even arrested by the secret services for such transgressions as singing the Hungarian anthem at cultural events.
Orbán’s government recently announced it will not support Ukraine on any international issue until the language rights of the Hungarian minority are restored.

Poland’s government has published video of Middle Eastern migrants attempting to violently breach their border, being repelled with tear gas while trying to pelt border guards with improvised missiles and felled trees.
“Defending the inviolability of the border is an obligation, but also the right of every state,” wrote the Ministry of National Defense on Monday, rebuking those in the European Union who have criticized a robust approach to securing borders.
“Soldiers and service officers defending the Polish border faced and still face a real threat,” they added.
The Polish approach contrasts sharply with that of the Joe Biden regime in America, which has sued state governments in Arizona and Texas to remove border barriers made from shipping containers and water buoys, and had federal agents have cut razor wire installed by state authorities to allow migrants through.
Poland has completed over 155 miles of Trump-style border wall to reinforce its frontier.

Tino Chrupalla, a member of the German parliament and co-chairman of the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, says he has been “debanked” due to his political affiliations and status.
Chrupalla claimed in an interview last week “on Friday, my account was terminated by Postbank because I am an AfD member,” before going on to explain that it further proves “how [the AfD] are excluded, discredited” and that people are no longer able to express their opinions freely.
Postbank’s decision to remove Chrupalla’s account would be in contravention of German federal law, which, according to a landmark case adjudicated by the Federal Court of Justice, refers to the practice as an “inadmissible interference in the private sphere.”
One German news outlet further explains that “conservatives, right-wingers, and identities have had their bank accounts canceled for years… Left-wing networks and journalists are already working diligently to nationalize repression.”
Debanking came into the political mainstream across the world after Brexit leader Nigel Farage had his private bank accounts terminated by Coutt’s bank in the summer because of his friendship with former President Donald Trump and Tennis player Novak Djokovic, among other trivial reasons.

A number of Ron DeSantis supporters have taken to social media to announce they will vote for Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. before they unify behind Donald Trump, despite the DeSantis camp pitching the Florida Governor as a facsimile of Trump with less “baggage” and more “effective” administration.
“Since I have been reliably told for months by Trump supporters that they would write him in even if DeSantis or anyone else won the GOP primary, it’s good to have permission to support RFK in the general if DeSantis doesn’t win the GOP primary,” wrote DeSantis booster Scott Morefield, a blogger for the Townhall.com website. Townhall is owned by the Salem Media Group, which also owns the pro-DeSantis RedState, Twitchy, and other legacy “Conservative Inc” blog sites.
Other DeSantis supporters were quick to agree with Morefield, raising questions as to whether or not they are, in fact, Republican voters at all. Many pro-DeSantis activists on social media are anonymous, newly-created accounts.
“You nailed it Scott. These are the new rules,” said one.
“As long as Trump is not supporting the primary winner, neither am I if it’s him,” seethed another.
“They’re both Liberals, so I might as well go for a honest liberal who can’t be easily corrupted,” concurred a third.
Others, however, weren’t so keen on the new tactic of embracing the pro-abortion, anti-Second Amendment RFK Jr, with user John Ament replying, “We all knew you were a liberal.”
RJK Jr. has won some admirers on the right for his opposition to the medical establishment – including DeSantis himself – he is a fundamentally left-wing politician who supports greater gun control, and shared an article in favor of repealing the Second Amendment altogether. RFK Jr. has stated he would not support abortion restrictions after three months because it is “always the woman’s right to choose” whether to kill her unborn baby.
RFK Jr. is also on record as saying he believes he would take more votes from Trump than Biden as a third-party candidate.
Since I have been reliably told for months by Trump supporters that they would write him in even if DeSantis or anyone else won the GOP primary, it’s good to have permission to support RFK in the general if DeSantis doesn’t win the GOP primary. This is how it works, right?

Former Speaker and thrice-married adulterer Newt Gingrich has been ratioed on X (formerly Twitter) for attacking America First conservative Matt Gaetz as a “destructive, irresponsible anti-Republican” and suggesting he should be expelled from the House Republican Conference.
Gingrich, 80, wrote that trying to expel the Florida Congressman from the House of Representatives altogether “may be a step too far” – if only because such a move would require a two-thirds majority in the House – but added that “expelling him from the House Republican Conference and eliminating all his committee assignments and all resources other than those an individual member is entitled to would be a rational response to his suicidal efforts to cripple the House GOP.”
Conservatives soon leaped to the defense of Gaetz, who has been challenging Speaker Kevin McCarthy for refusing to pursue an impeachment of Joe Biden in a meaningful way while failing to reduce aid for Ukraine or increase border security.
Bro you wrote the Contract With America, in part to try and limit govt spending beyond its means. You’re now attacking @mattgaetz for trying to deliver where you and your colleagues failed? Shame. Unfollowed.
“Mr. Gingrich, The America First Patriots see this a lot differently. We are tired of seeing our hard earned money going to countries that do not deserve one red penny while we have homeless vets and people living on our streets,” said one X user.
“Memo to Gingrich: Maybe if you and your old guard cronies hadn’t set the precedent for failed promises, the America First Patriots wouldn’t feel so desperate,” said another.
“McCarthy LIED, he broke the deal, he needs to go, NOT Gaetz,” added a third.
Donald Trump is a strong supporter of Rep. Gaetz, telling The National Pulse editor-in-chief Raheem Kassam he is “a great guy,” “wonderful person,” and admirably “strong” in the face of concerted attacks in a recent interview.
