Biden’s Home State Strikes Down 10 Day Early Voting Law.

A Delaware Superior Court has ruled the state’s law allowing ten days of early voting and permanent absentee voting is unconstitutional. Judge Mark H. Conner stated in a 25-page opinion: “The enactments of the General Assembly challenged today are inconsistent with our Constitution and therefore cannot stand.”

The court’s decision states that Article 5, Section 1 of the state constitution specifically proscribes that a “general election shall be held biennially on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in the month of November.” The Delaware Board of Elections argued the phrase “election shall be held” refers to the ‘last’ day in which a vote can be cast.

This decision could have broad implications, given ongoing legal challenges to state voting practices that critics say are in contravention of state laws and constitutions. Joe Biden, whose home state is Delaware, has leveled criticism at states like Georgia over their election regulations — calling their voter I.D. law “Jim Crow 2.0.” Georgia allows for three weeks of early voting.

The case was brought by Delaware state Senator Gerald Hocker and Michael Mennella — an inspector for the Delaware Department of Elections, represented by the Public Interest Legal Foundation. They noted the ruling is just the latest court decision stipulating states must follow their own constitutions. A New York state appeals court recently held noncitizen voting in municipal elections to be unconstitutional.

The ruling is Mennella and the Public Interest Legal Foundation’s second victory over Delaware’s voting laws in less than two years; previously, they succeeded in challenging the constitutionality of the state’s universal vote-by-mail and same-day voter registration laws.

FEC Complaints Seek Probe of Kevin McCarthy PAC Spending at Luxury Resort.

Federal election officials are being asked to investigate whether ex-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy illicitly benefited from approximately $240,000 his campaign committees spent at a luxury resort in Rancho Palos Verdes while serving in congressional leadership.

The petitions were lodged by two employees of the Terranea Resort, citing an LA Times investigation that publicized the committee expenditures spanning a period of two and a half years ending in 2018. The complaints, each five pages long, claim that McCarthy failed to provide detailed clarifications to the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) or The Times about the resort disbursements, raising questions about the actual utilization of the funds.

The complaints note that the funds “may have been made, not for valid PAC or campaign activities, but to personally enrich” McCarthy. Jill Thomson, the treasurer to McCarthy’s committees, and the committees themselves also stand accused in the paperwork. McCarthy’s spokesman, Drew Florio, did not respond to interview requests concerning the allegations.

Antonio Rodriguez and David Gomez Martinez, Terranea employees and supporters of a unionization campaign at the resort, lodged the complaints. The complaints also highlight that the resort’s owners are significant financial contributors to McCarthy’s committees, suggesting a highly “cozy” association. No explanation has been offered in McCarthy’s financial records for the substantial expenses incurred at Terranea during the specified period.

It is not known if Frank Luntz, the former Speaker’s roommate, vacationed at the luxury resort with McCarthy.

Romney Refuses to Vote for Trump Despite Saying He Agrees With His Policies.

Republican Sen. Mitt Romney revealed he would not vote for former President Donald Trump if he becomes the Republican presidential nominee in a future election, despite agreeing with many of his policies.

Although Romney admitted that “yeah, [I] aligned with many of his domestic policies,” the Senator insisted Trump’s “character” was a more important factor in casting his vote. “Having a president who is so defaulted of character would have an enormous impact on the character of America,” he said. “And for me, that’s the primary consideration.”

Romney made his comments on Wednesday’s edition of CNN’s ‘The Source’ when questioned by host Kaitlan Collins.

The Senator also used the platform to criticize President Biden’s approach to border security and immigration, stating that Biden has made “extraordinary mistakes” and labeled his performance “embarrassing.” Although Romney praised Trump for “some smart things” done during his presidency, he said that alone was not enough to secure his support. Despite this, he acknowledged that Trump could win against Biden if the election were to occur today.

Putin Warns of Nuclear War if NATO Sends Troops to Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned Western nations that a global nuclear war could result if countries deploy their own military forces into Ukraine.

“Everything that they are coming up with now, with which they threaten the entire world – all this really threatens a conflict with the use of nuclear weapons, and therefore the destruction of civilization – don’t they understand this, or what?” Putin asked. “They must ultimately understand that we also have weapons – and they know about it, just as I now said  – we also have weapons that can hit targets on their territory,” he warned.

Putin’s warning came during his annual state of the nation address, delivered to Russia’s Federal Assembly in Moscow, and follows recent remarks made by French President Emmanuel Macron suggesting that NATO allies might dispatch troops to Ukraine in the future.

After a year of stalemate, Russia appears to be finally winning the war in Ukraine. Recently, Russian forces captured the city of Avdeyevka and continue to make strong westward advances as Ukraine’s frontlines collapse.

How Illegals Are Corrupting American Elections – EVEN IF THEY AREN’T VOTING.

Democrats are using illegal immigrants to impact elections by boosting the population of cities. The increased population in Democrat states affects Congressional and Electoral College apportionment. One of Joe Biden’s first executive orders reversed a decision by former President Donald Trump barring the use of illegal immigrant population data for Congressional apportionment.

The introduction of the “Equal Representation Act” — authored by Sens. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and Bill Hagerty (R-TN) — has sparked renewed debate around the inclusion of non-citizens in data used in Congressional apportionment. Only legal citizens would counted in census counts for congressional districts and the Electoral College map under the legislation.

“It is unconscionable that illegal immigrants and non-citizens are counted toward Congressional district apportionment,” said Hagerty in a statement. He added: “While people continue to flee Democrat-run cities, desperate Democrats are back-filling the mass exodus with illegal immigrants so that they do not lose their seats in Congress and maintain electoral votes for the Presidency and hence artificially boost their political power.”

Former Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) argued in a 2018 lawsuit against the U.S. Census Bureau that counting non-citizens for Congressional and Electoral College apportionment disenfranchised voters in states with low illegal immigrant populations. “Counting large illegal alien populations in the Census appropriates voting power from Americans and bestows it on other[s],” Brooks said.

Man Stabbed at Central Park Migrant Shelter.

On Wednesday, a man was stabbed at a migrant shelter located across from New York’s Central Park, according to local law enforcement.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) was alerted to the situation at 31 Central Park North at approximately 11:30 AM following a 911 phone call reporting the assault. Officers arriving at the scene discovered a 24-year-old male victim suffering stab wounds to the back and abdomen. The victim was transported to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

A person of interest was apprehended by police, however, details surrounding the cause of the stabbing remain unclear. The event transpired within 24 hours of Mayor Eric Adams’ directive to install metal detectors at a migrant shelter on Randall’s Island after multiple stabbings were reported at that location. Mayor Adams has also called to amend New York City’s ‘sanctuary’ status laws.

The city has recently witnessed a significant rise in crimes reportedly committed by newly arrived migrants. These have included instances of assaults on NYPD officers and a recent stabbing in Times Square.

Honduran Illegal Arrested For Raping 14-Year-Old Girl in Louisiana.

A Honduran man, Angel Matias Castellanos-Orellana, has been detained by Kenner, Louisiana police, in connection with a series of violent crimes, including the assault and rape of a minor. The police were alerted on February 20 to the rape of a 14-year-old girl, allegedly committed by Castellanos-Orellana at knifepoint after they met on social media. The suspect, who was in the U.S. illegally, used multiple aliases, a practice reportedly common among undocumented immigrants.

Less than a week later, on February 25, authorities responded to a distress call at around 3:15 am regarding a stabbing incident in the 2600 block of Phoenix Street. The reported victim was approached by Castellanos-Orellana, who demanded his belongings and subsequently attacked, stabbing him multiple times in the face and back. The victim was later admitted to a hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.

Castellanos-Orellana was located at the scene of the crime, detained, and was later booked on charges of armed robbery, aggravated battery, first-degree rape, and aggravated assault — with a federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer also being issued. According to Chief Keith Conley, these incidents underline the challenges local law enforcement faces when coping with crimes involving illegal immigrants, not least of which include false identification and limited access to integral data. Despite relief following Castellanos-Orellana’s arrest, the chief expressed concerns about the mounting strain on local law enforcement budgets and taxpayer dollars from illegal immigrant crime.

Trump Says Notorious, Ultra-Violent ‘Tren de Aragua’ Gang in American Cities Thanks to Biden’s Open Border.

President Donald Trump has pointed out that the notorious Tren de Aragua gang from Venezuela is now operating in American cities, citing law enforcement officials in Miami and Chicago in a new opinion editorial for the Daily Mail.

“Last year, 43 percent of all ICE arrests were aliens with criminal convictions or pending charges for some 33,000 assaults, 3,000 robberies, almost 7,000 burglaries, 7,500 weapons offenses, 4,300 sex crimes, 1,600 kidnappings, and 1,700 homicides,” Trump wrote on Thursday, adding: “In Chicago and Miami, police have confirmed the violent Venezuelan ‘Tren de Aragua’ gang is now operating in their cities.”

Tren de Aragua is an incredibly violent gang known for sex trafficking as well as mass murder and racketeering. Its influence also extends to sports, with Venezuelan journalist Ronna Rísquez explaining: “…their involvement in sports activities, more precisely in the deals of Venezuelan baseball players who sign for major league clubs in the United States. Investigations indicate that they are shadow partners in several training academies and that they charge a large percentage for each contract.”

Tren de Aragua is active across Venezuela, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, and Panama. It has around 2,500 known active members.

Ammon Blair, a former Border Patrol agent, said of the group: “They are specifically known for their violence and their extortion… Meaning if you don’t pay your tax, [they] first shoot your wrist. If you don’t pay it again, [they shoot] you in the ankle, if you mess up and don’t pay it again, you’re dead.”

In his Daily Mail op-ed, Trump also explained: “In New York City, NYPD officers were recently mobbed and viciously beaten by a pack of migrant criminals. In Michigan, gangs of migrants are stalking suburban houses and plundering them for valuables. And in Georgia just last week, 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley was savagely attacked and murdered on the campus of the University of Georgia. An illegal alien migrant who was released into our country under Biden has been charged with her killing.”

Fani Willis, Nathan Wade Referred to Georgia State Bar for Misconduct.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her ex-lover, Nathan Wade, have both been referred to the Georgia State Bar for ethics violations. The pair face two complaints lodged by the American Accountability Foundation (AAF), a government watchdog group.

The group alleges Wade lied under oath about his relationship with Willis and that Willis admitted to using campaign funds for personal use on the witness stand. The AAF requests the opening of disciplinary proceedings against the pair for violations of the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct.

In her February 15, 2024 testimony, Willis detailed her use of cash without bank or transaction receipts and her reimbursement of Wade. The AAF argues this “admission” signifies a clear violation of Georgia Campaign Finance law. The group also alleges Willis willfully broke the law, depriving Georgia citizens of their right to exercise effective oversight.

The watchdog also accuses Wade of lying under oath during his divorce proceedings. He claimed he did not have sexual relations with anyone, including Willis, outside of his marriage. The AAF complaint states his answers were dishonest, fraudulent, deceitful, and misrepresented the truth. Willis and Wade have yet to comment in response to the allegations.

Last week, Willis was sued for illegally concealing records of communications with the White House regarding her RICO case against former President Donald Trump.

ICE Arrests Guatemalan Illegal Who Sexually Assaulted Kids.

A 34-year-old Guatemalan previously convicted of indecent assault and battery on a minor under 14 was arrested by the Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Gloucester, Massachusetts. The man entered the U.S. illegally, and his removal is pending proceedings with a federal immigration judge. The Gloucester District Court released him despite ERO filing an immigration detainer and his convictions, which also include a separate assault and battery offense.

The Gloucester District Court previously disregarded the ERO immigration detainer, allowing the Guatemalan’s release. Known as a sexual offender, he was arrested without incident at the Essex County House of Corrections, where ERO Boston encountered him and issued another immigration detainer following the arrest.

ERO Boston Field Office Director Todd M. Lyons said the individual was a dire threat to Massachusetts residents

“Unlawfully present, convicted sex offenders should not be given the opportunity to re-offend. The victim of his crimes deserves better from our justice system,” Lyons stated. “The men and women of ERO Boston will continue to protect our communities from such threats.”
