2 Dead, 28 Injured in ‘Gun Controlled, Police Defunded’ Baltimore.

Two people were killed and another 28 injured – including three in critical condition – in a mass shooting in Baltimore, Maryland late Saturday evening. Those responsible have not yet been identified or arrested, according to the Baltimore Police Department (BPD), with the incident taking place at a “block party” in the southern part of the Democrat-run city which recently passed further “gun control” restrictions for law-abiding citizens.

Hundreds of people gathered in the Brooklyn Homes area to celebrate ‘Brooklyn Day,’ when dozens of shots were fired indiscriminately at around 12:30am. One witness told FOX45 that the shots “just kept going off.”

Acting Commissioner of BPD Richard Worley said in a statement to the press: “We located one female adult deceased on the scene and nine additional victims were transported from the location to area hospitals. Additionally, we had 20 other victims walk into hospitals throughout the region.”

The shooting was a “reckless, cowardly act that happened here and that has permanently altered many lives and cost two people their lives,” said the Mayor of Baltimore, Brandon Scott – who ran for office on a gun control and “defund the police” platform.

This is the latest example of a growing firearm homicide epidemic in Democrat-run cities, the likes of which have been unseen “since the early 1990s during the crack cocaine epidemic.” Earlier this year, Washington D.C. – only 40 miles from Baltimore –reported a 40 percent rise in arms offenses since 2017.

Russia ‘Coup’ Provides CIA Recruitment Opportunities, Says Director.

The United States has a “once-in-a-generation opportunity” to recruit spies for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), thanks to the Russian upheaval, according to CIA director William Burns.

Burns – who continues to display strong ties with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), a relationship which continued even after President Biden picked him to be America’s top spy – highlighted the recent Wagner revolt as a challenge to President Vladimir Putin and argued that it demonstrated the “corrosive effect” of the war on Russian society.

“Disaffection with the war will continue to gnaw away at the Russian leadership beneath the steady diet of state propaganda and practiced repression,” Burns explained at a lecture to the Ditchley Foundation, which focuses on Anglo-American relations, on Saturday. “That disaffection creates a once-in-a-generation opportunity for us at the CIA – at our core a human intelligence service. We’re not letting it go to waste,” he added.

The CIA published a video encouraging Russians to contact the agency through a secure internet channel in May this year. The CIA stated that it wanted to hear from military officers, intelligence specialists, diplomats, and scientists via Telegram on the Onion Router (TOR), which makes tracing online activity more difficult.

‘French’ Rioters Are Now Attempting to Assassinate Politicians.

More than 700 people were arrested and 45,000 police officers deployed on Saturday evening as rioting continued in France for the fifth straight night following the death of migrant-background teen ‘Nahel’ at the hands of police. Around 45 police officers and gendarmes were injured, while 74 buildings, 26 police and gendarmes stations, and 577 vehicles were set on fire in the worst civil unrest in the European nation in decades.

Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin, however, hailed the evening as a “calmer night thanks to the resolute action of the security forces” compared to Friday evening, which witnessed around 1,300 arrests. The violence has spread throughout the country, reaching central Paris, Marseille, Nice, and Strasbourg.

Former Deputy in the National Legislative Assembly of France, and niece of populist leader Marine Le Pen, Marion Marechal, said announced on Twitter on Sunday morning:

“In response to the [#riots], the government is preparing to once again rain billions of euros on the suburbs. The waste of our taxes must stop, the solution is in the end of immigration, not in renovation or subsidies!”

Vincent Jeanburn, Mayor of L’Haÿ-les-Roses – a small town five miles outside Paris – had a car rammed into his house before rioters set the home ablaze as his wife and children slept. He described the attack as “an assassination attempt,” with his wife and one of his children sustaining injuries. “Last night, a milestone was reached in terms of horror and ignominy,” said Jeanbrun in an announcement on Twitter.

The majority of the French population – 70 percent – favor sending in the army to restore order in those neighborhoods worst affected by the riots, a poll revealed on Friday.

DeSantis Bans Doctor-Prescribed Cannabis, But Not Pharma Drugs, at Florida Recovery Centers.

Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis has signed a bill that prohibits possession or usage of medical marijuana — even when prescribed by a doctor — for residents of recovery residences in the state of Florida. Residents will be able to use prescribed pharmaceutical drugs.

The new law, which “explicitly singles out medical marijuana,” will require those looking to operate recovery residences under the state Department of Children and Families to affirm that they do not permit cannabis usage, including “marijuana that has been certified by a qualified physician for medical use.” Furthermore, the new law has amended the requirement to mandate the “prohibition on marijuana, regardless of a person’s status as a medical cannabis patient.”

DeSantis attacked cannabis use further by signing another bill that requires bars to raise the age limit to 21 for smokeless hemp products, including “snuff, chewing gum, and other smokeless products.”

The Governor of Florida has been forthright in his criticism of marijuana. Last month, he argued marijuana hurts the workforce, impedes productivity, and could be deadly if contaminated.

A March poll shows 70 percent of Floridians in favour of recreational marijuana use, including nearly 60 percent Republican support in the state.

DeSantis is yet to take such stringent action against Big Pharma, despite a number of presidential candidates, such as former President Donald J. Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr, demanding action to counter the political and societal impact of the industry. On the contrary, the Governor of Florida has been cosying up to Big Pharma lobbyists to kick-start his disappointing presidential campaign, including Moderna lobbyist Marc Lampkin.

BBC’s Historic ‘Traditional Gender Roles’ Kids Show Now Pushes Pride, Drag Queens.

The BBC’s popular children’s television show – Blue Peter – aired an episode showing kids discussing sexuality alongside drag queens, and featured an ‘LGBTQ+ inclusive community choir’ singing ‘Born This Way’ by Lady Gaga.

Blue Peter – named for its original maritime “adventure” theming – is the world’s longest-running children’s TV show, dating back to the 1950s. The daily show has typically taught kids about food, arts and crafts, sports, and even traditional gender roles. “Leila played with dolls; Chris played with trains,” historian Asa Briggs wrote of the program.

In 2023, however, the BBC’s flagship kids show broadcast footage of a “pride” celebration, where a man identifying as a woman explained: “It’s what happens in Pride month, come together to celebrate our difference and to celebrate also what makes us the same.”

“Pink picnic is a grassroots Pride celebration whether you’re LGBTQ+, whether you’re an ally, and it’s a family-friendly event as well, so we include absolutely everybody,” explains a drag queen in bright make-up and a skin-tight, sequined dress. Another drag queen wearing an outlandish outfit can be seen on stage introducing the choir.

The camera then cuts to multiple children discussing the event and what they enjoy most about Pride. One girl – who appears to be around the age of ten – tells the camera, “[i]t shows loads of different people, like if you’re gay, lesbian, transgender, anything, it’s like representing that you’re you and it’s good to be different.”

The show was aired in the same week that transgender activists at a New York City Pride parade chanted “we’re coming for your children.”

Biden White House Publishes Plans to Block The Sun. Seriously.

A Biden White House report released late Friday appears to show the U.S. government toying with the idea of blocking the sun’s rays in an attempt to “quickly cool the planet“.

The catchily named Congressionally Mandated Research Plan And An Initial Research Governance Framework Related To Solar Radiation Modification (SRM) discusses various means by which to limit the amount of sunlight that hits Earth, including the deployment of aerosols into the stratosphere – a concept known as “geoengineering” first reported on at The National Pulse six months ago.

Other methods mentioned include cloud brightening, and even the deployment of mirrors in space, though the report does not specifically investigate the impact of the latter at any meaningful length.

The report – compiled by the U.S. government’s Office of Science and Technology Policy with support from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration – provides a research plan for “solar and other rapid climate interventions.”

On conclusion reached seems to encourage “outdoor experiments… in combination with model and laboratory studies for understanding the processes involved with potential SRM deployment.”

Outgoing CDC Chief Ominously Forecasts ‘Another Public Health Crisis’.

The outgoing Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) director Rochelle Walensky issued an ominous warning this week, stating the “question is not if there will be another public health threat, but when.” She claims the country may need 80,000 additional public health workers to face this unnamed threat.

‌I want to remind America: The question is not if there will be another public health threat, but when. The C.D.C. needs public and congressional support if it is going to be prepared to protect you from future threats. Godspeed to the 20th director and to my incredible friends at the C.D.C.‌

Rochelle Walensky, New York Times, 2022

The Biden-appointed technocrat conceded in an op-Ed for the New York Times that the CDC had been “chastened by early missteps with C‌ovid” – which she did not describe – “and battered by persistent scrutiny‌‌,” but was still full of praise for the public health establishment.

“The people who do this work for you ‌ — who often put themselves in harm’s way ‌ — ‌serve ‌‌you and the nation tirelessly, skillfully and selflessly,” she wrote. “The CDC needs public and congressional support if it is going to be prepared to protect you from future threats.”

Record Number of American Over 40s Unmarried.

The number of Americans above the age of 40 who have never been married is at an all-time high, according to new research conducted by the Pew Research Center. The percentage of those above 40 without having been married is now 25 percent, compared to 20 percent in 2010.

The trend has been recognizable since the end of the twentieth century. In 1980, the number of unmarried over 40s was just six percent; in 1990, it was 11 percent; and in 2000, that number was around 15 percent.

There is a large disparity between college graduates and non-graduates; those without a four-year degree were more likely not to have been married at 33 percent, whereas only 18 percent of graduates remained unmarried. The amount also fluctuates among ethnicities. A total of 46 percent of blacks were unmarried above 40, compared to only 17 percent of Asians, whites were 20 percent, Hispanics 27 percent.

However, one-in-four of the over 40s who were unmarried in 2001 ended up marrying by the age of 60, demonstrating the trend of younger generations delaying traditional aspirations until much later in life.

DeSantis’s Yale Fundraiser Hosted by Top Bush Allies.

Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis is raising money at a $6,600-a-head luncheon at the Yale Club in New York, hosted by former George W. Bush administration officials including William Heyman and Nick Sinatra.

Heyman, formerly of Citigroup, was appointed director of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) by Bush, and sits on a Federal Reserve Bank of New York committee and the neocon Council on Foreign Relations. Sinatra, a real estate developer, was an associate political director at the Bush White House.

DeSantis’s fundraising in New York is not just controversial for his association with these “GOP throwbacks”, as POLITICO describes them. He also ruffled feathers by not bothering to inform local party activists of his plans.

“While we understand communication can sometimes be difficult, we nevertheless think that communication is necessary,” said local chairman Lawrence Garvey, further noting he was “disappointed” by the lack of an apology from DeSantis or his team once after activists made them aware of their unhappiness.

High-handed behaviour from the DeSantis camp has caused friction with local activists before this incident, with an unnecessary fight with a conservative women’s group in New Hampshire generating number of negative headlines recently. The Floridian scheduled an event in the Granite State on the same day the New Hampshire Federation of Republican Women were hosting their annual ‘Lilac Luncheon’ – with Donald Trump in attendance – causing him to be publicly upbraided for his “unprecedented” lack of courtesy.
