A demonic idol erected by The Satanic Temple inside the Iowa State Capitol was destroyed on Thursday. Iowa State Police say 35-year-old Michael Cassidy, a Christian veteran, was arrested for the act.
Cassidy, a former congressional candidate, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. A $20,000 war chest for his legal defense was crowdfunded within a matter of hours.
The Satanic Temple of Iowa complained in a Facebook post that part of the display was “beyond repair”. Its centerpiece statue of the horned demon Baphomet clutching a pentagram wreath was decapitated.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, an ally of Ron DeSantis, has come under pressure to pardon Cassidy. It currently seems unlikely she will act, however, having described the Satanic idol in her state as “speech”.
“In a free society, the best response to objectionable speech is more speech, and I encourage all those of faith to join me today in praying over the Capitol and recognizing the Nativity scene that will be on display ― the true reason for the season,” she said.

Former First Lady Melania Trump delivered a speech at a naturalization ceremony at the National Archives in Washington D.C. on Friday. A naturalized citizen herself, Mrs. Trump told newly-minted Americans the process they had been through was “arduous” but worthwhile. She also stressed that citizenship entailed service to the nation and its ideals.
“I was born and raised in the picturesque country of Slovenia, where my parents taught me the importance of a strong work ethic and pursuing my dreams,” she recalled.
“Upon my arrival [in New York] I immediately knew I wanted to make the United States my permanent home,” she continued, recalling the “labyrinth” of paperwork she encountered. “While challenges were numerous, the rewards were well worth the effort,” she added.
“Becoming an American citizen comes with responsibilities. It means actively participating in the democratic process and guarding our freedom. It also means leading by example and contributing to our society,” she said. “It is a life-altering experience that takes time, determination, and sometimes even tremendous strength.”
“You are now a part of a nation with a rich history of progress, innovation, and resilience… Be proud of yourselves, stand your ground, and embrace the opportunities that lie ahead,” Mrs Trump concluded.
“You are American. Be a beacon of inspiration for your children, and those who follow in your footsteps. May your journey continue to be filled with endless possibilities, and may your contributions enrich the fabric of this great nation.”

This past Tuesday’s CNN Iowa town hall event with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis did little to boost the corporate news networks ratings. According to newly released viewership numbers, DeSantis drew just 622,000 viewers in the 9:00pm time-slot. Fox News’s Sean Hannity, also airing in the 9:00pm slot drew 2.1 million viewers the same night. The entirety of the prime time line up for MSNBC and Fox News significantly outperformed the DeSantis town hall, with the Florida Governor drawing about half the viewers as the far-left conspiracy theorist Joy Reid.
The DeSantis campaign has been plagued by an inability to connect with voters, with polls showing the Florida Republican running far behind the 2024 Republican presidential nomination front-runner Donald Trump. An aversion to engagement with hostile media has only compounded DeSantis’s problems, costing the Governor valuable air-time early on in the Republican primary. Despite a course correction on the candidate’s media engagement, it appears to be too-little-too-late with voters tuning out as former President Donald Trump’s primary victory appears all-but-certain.
In an effort to astroturf the appearance of voter interest, the DeSantis campaign has attempted to use increasingly smaller venues to disguise crowd sizes – among other campaign tricks. The National Pulse previously reported the Florida Governor’s campaign used ‘canned’ crowd audio in a 30-second ad-spot featuring Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds. The clips featuring Govs. DeSantis and Reynolds in the video were pulled from the Iowa endorsement event, which appears to only have attracted about 150 people. In the ad, however, the audio alludes to far larger and enthused crowd one might see at a full-scale campaign rally.

The National Review is urging Chris Christie, the presidential candidate and former New Jersey Governor, to exit the GOP primary to make way neoconservative darling Nikki Haley.
Christie is polling at just three percent nationally, but is somewhat more popular in New Hampshire – a critical early primary state. There, he is polling in third place at 14 percent, compared to 18 percent for Haley. Ron DeSantis, supposedly Trump’s main rival, is in fourth on 11 percent, just one point ahead of Vivek Ramaswamy.
“[A]ll indications are that [Christie’s] vote is being cannibalized from Haley,” the National Reviewcomplained. It argued that even if Christie somehow pulled off an upset win in New Hampshire, he could not manage the same trick in other states: “A hypothetical Christie win would rely heavily on support from independents and Democrats in the open New Hampshire primary. Those conditions would be impossible to replicate elsewhere.”
“None of this is to deny Christie’s talents as a politician, his accomplishments in New Jersey, or the important truths he’s been speaking about Donald Trump… [But if] Christie is as committed to stopping Donald Trump as he says, it’s time for him to retire to his tent,” the Review explained.
Its assessment glossed over the fact Christie was America’s least popular governor and New Jersey’s worst-rated governor of all time, however.
Trump would retain a significant double-digit lead in New Hampshire even if every one of Christie’s supporters swung behind Haley, in any case.

A local politician tossed hand grenades into a village council meeting in the Transcarpathia region of Ukraine on Friday. The resulting explosions killed one person and wounded dozens.
“Today at 11:37, the police received a report that a deputy set off grenades in the building of the Keretsky Village Council of the Mukachevo district during the session. According to preliminary reports, the explosion killed one person and wounded the [deputy] and 11 more people,” confirmed the Ukrainian National Police.
They subsequently updated the number of wounded to 26, including six people in “grave condition”.
The motivation for the attack was unknown as of the time of publication. Transcarpathia borders Hungary, and is home to a large Hungarian minority, stranded outside their homeland following multiple border changes in the 20th century.
The Hungarian government has often accused the Ukrainian government of discriminating against the Hungarian minority, while the Ukrainians have accused Hungary of wanting to annex the region.

The Biden’s White House’s tap dancing troupe has been a long-standing promoter of anti-white hatred, as well as boosting the Palestinian “ethnic cleansing” hoax, according to the organization – Dorrance Dance’s – own website.
What Is Dorrance Dance?
Dorrance Dance was founded in 2011 and has since promoted the disreputable and discredited 1619 Project – which claims the foundation of America was not the 1776 Declaration of Independence but rather when the first slave arrived at Port Comfort, Virginia, in 1619. The site also claims America is forever chained by the “original sin” of slavery and systems of inequality.
Dorrance Dances suggests its fans educate themselves by reading openly racist books about white people, such as “White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of Our Racial Divide,” “White Fragility,” and “Dear White America: Letter to a New Minority.”
The organization links to a number of other online bookstores that promote similar so-called “education” books, such as the virulently anti-Israel Ilan Pappe’s “The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine” – a book widely discredited for its poor historiography and dishonesty. Another link to Afriware Books includes the book “Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome” and “White Fear: How The Browning Of American Is Making White Folks Lose Their Minds,” which encourages its readers to understand and “neutralize” it.
A third link to Mahogany Books offers titles such as “White Reign: Deploying Whiteness In America,” which investigates whether one can “reshape whiteness,” and “Black Women Will Save The World: An Anthem.”
The organization has received major donations from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, the MacMillan Family Foundation, and the Mellon Foundation. It is a recipient of a U.S. Small Business Administration Shuttered Venue Operators grant, which was made possible by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.
The Founder of Dorrance Dance.
The organization was founded and is directed by Michelle Dorrance, daughter of Anson Dorrance, the former head coach of the U.S. Women’s Soccer team between 1986 and 1994.
Michelle – who appears in the White House video after one minute and ten seconds – is a far-left activist and supporter of Black Lives Matter (BLM) with an open hatred of white people. She regularly apologizes for her “whiteness,” and has posted her support for Martin Luther King’s radical claim that the American “Negro’s greatest stumbling block” is not the “White Citizen’s Counciler [sic] or the Ku Klux Klan” but rather the so-called “white moderate.”
In a note on her website entitled, “Why antiracism work is important to me,” Michelle Dorrance establishes her “never-ending struggle against systemic racism and white supremacy in this country.” She refers to American society as one that “privileges white people and whiteness” while calling on white people to understand “how deeply embedded white supremacy, racism, and colonialism is in our culture is paramount to understanding our role (as white people) in perpetuating it.”
She has shown a similar antipathy towards former President Donald Trump. Dorrance said the Trump administration’s “capacity for hatred is endless” and demanded people stand up against it.
Dorrance has also encouraged people to buy demonic artwork featuring the devil as a naked woman from transgender artist and designer E Henderson.

Former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) special agent Charles McGonigal has been sentenced to over four years in prison. The U.S. District Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York said he had been supplying information to a Russian oligarch.
McGonigal, 55, was handed a 50-month jail term for his interactions with Oleg Deripaska in 2021. As part of a plea agreement, McGonigal acknowledged he received $17,500 from Deripaska.
The FBI “spy tracker” is perhaps best known for his work in helping launch the Russia hoax against President Donald Trump. McGonigal was responsible for much of the early work that led to the opening of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.
U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said McGonigal “violated the trust his country placed in him by using his high-level position at the FBI to prepare for his future in business.”
“Once he left public service, he jeopardized our national security,” Williams added.
McGonigal said he was “deeply remorseful”. He added that he took “full responsibility” and claimed he “never intended to hurt the U.S., FBI, or my family.”

Billionaire innovator Elon Musk is reportedly planning to pioneer a university in Texas, dedicated to advanced education, according to information obtained from a report by Bloomberg. The owner of SpaceX and Tesla aims to inject $100 million into creating STEM-focused primary and secondary institutions ahead of inaugural establishment of this university. His plans, unveiled through a tax filing for his charity, The Foundation, were submitted to the Internal Revenue Service in October 2022 and received approval in March this year.
The planned university, according to the submission, will provide curriculum in disciplines including math, science, engineering, and physics. Pedagogy will be delivered by “experienced faculty” utilizing a diverse set of teaching techniques such as simulations, case studies, and fabrication/design projects. The institution will also reportedly pursue accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
Furthermore, the application gives insights into Musk’s vision for K-12 schools focusing on STEM education and other fields. Initial enrollment is anticipated to begin with around 50 students, and scaling up over time. Another component of Musk’s educational strategy may include a Montessori-style school, associated with his intentions to construct a town in Texas. Musk’s previous ventures in the educational sector include the establishment of the now-closed Ad Astra School and the current online-only Astra Nova.

New York City spends thousands of dollars each month on meals intended for migrants which are instead disposed of uneaten. Medical service company, DocGo, which received a no-bid $432 million contract for broad migrant care without prior experience in this sector, supposedly wastes these meals. DocGo, currently overseeing approximately 4,000 migrants and providing three meals each at $33 per day per migrant, allegedly labeled more than 70,000 meals as “wasted” from October 22 to November 10. This period of 20-days indicates that taxpayers shelled out approximately $776,000, roughly $39,000 per day.
While NYC Mayor Eric Adams implements billions of dollars in budget cuts to manage city’s expenditure on migrant care, DocGo’s invoices propose the tossed food itself could exceed $1 million per month.
City Councilwoman Gale Brewer spoke against the wastage during a time of budget reductions in other sectors like libraries, schools, and trash collection services. While no allegations have been made against DocGo for wrongdoing or intentionally over-billing the city, the company has faced criticism for the wastage of meals that are treated as a pass-through expense with DocGo making no profit.

Former President Donald Trump is beating incumbent President Joe Biden in all seven swing states by an average of 5.28 points, with less than eleven months to go before the 2024 presidential election, according to a poll published on Thursday by Morning Consult/Bloomberg.
Pollsters found that with independents included, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr, Cornel West, and Jill Stein, Donald Trump is leading Biden by three points in Arizona, seven points in Georgia, four points in Michigan, five points in Nevada, six points in Wisconsin, one point in Pennsylvania, and a whopping 11 points in North Carolina.
The 45th President maintains his lead in all seven states even when all third-party candidates are removed. The only exception is Georgia, where the race falls within the margin of error.
The U.S. economy and health care were the most important issues among those surveyed. At least six in ten swing state voters deemed those issues “very” important.
Trump is dominant regarding the economy, with voters having more trust in the former President in all seven states. Biden, however, maintains a “slight edge” over Trump on health care in five of the seven states. Voters in Georgia and North Carolina have more trust in Trump by one point and five points, respectively.
