NYT, MSNBC Freak Out Over Trump-Kassam Interview After Far-Left Complaints.

The New York Times, MSNBC, and Snopes are collectively freaking out over The National Pulse’s interview with former President Donald Trump, declaring his rhetoric over the U.S. southern border to be Hitlerian, and bemoaning his complaint over the amount of communicable disease and numbers of deadly drugs pouring into America.

MSNBC’s resident Islamic extremist, Mehdi Hasan, took to X (formerly Twitter) to cry about Trump’s rhetoric. Hasan, however, has previously called non-Muslims “cattle” and “animals” in video first popularized by National Pulse editor Raheem Kassam, over a decade ago.

The New York Times and Snopes quickly followed Hasan’s lead, with the grey lady – itself owned by a slave-owning family which promoted Hitler during the 1930s – declaring: “Trump Escalates Anti-Immigrant Rhetoric With ‘Poisoning the Blood’ Comment”.

Mr. Trump made the remark in a 37-minute video interview with The National Pulse, a right-leaning website, that was posted last week. It drew broader scrutiny on Wednesday after the liberal MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan surfaced the quote in a post on X.

– New York Times, October, 2023.

President Trump’s comments, however, related directly to the mass importation of killer drugs like fentanyl, as well as communicable disease coming over the U.S. southern border – a fact that Snopes attempted to skirt.

Hitler’s comments – presumably still available via the New York Times’s own archives – referred to Jewish journalists, not drugs or disease:

And so this poison was allowed to enter the national bloodstream and infect public life without the Government taking any effectual measures to master the course of the disease.

– Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf.

The three news outlets, as well as the Islamist Mehdi Hasan, appeared to take their lead from the far-left Meidas Touch website, which first made the false comparison under the byline ‘J.D. Wolf’. Meidas Touch is a Democrat-linked political action committee, not a news or research service. The site’s contributors include mostly far-left, openly ‘anti-Trump’ activists who masquerade as journalists.

could donald trump be speaker of the house

Trump Endorses Jim Jordan for Speaker, But Will Do the Job Himself ‘If Necessary’.

Donald Trump has given Rep. Jim Jordan his “complete and total endorsement” for Speaker of the House of Representatives following the ceremonious ouster of Kevin McCarthy. The 45th President claims he would also be willing to step in himself on a temporary basis if necessary.

The former president said Jordan, who leads House Freedom Caucus and chairs the House Judiciary Committee and Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, was strong on borders, crime, gun rights, and veterans, and would be a “GREAT” speaker.

If House Republicans are unable to select a speaker from among their own ranks, however, he has signaled he is ready to answer calls from some members that he fill the role himself.

“I have been asked to speak as a unifier because I have so many friends in Congress,” Trump said. “If they don’t get the votes, they have asked me if I would consider taking the speakership until they get somebody longer-term, because I am running for president,” he explained.

“They have asked me if I would take it for a short period of time for the party, until they come to a conclusion – I’m not doing it because I want to – I will do it if necessary, should they not be able to make their decision,” he added.

Rep. Matt Gaetz has previously endorsed Trump for the role, and Gaetz’s erstwhile ally Marjorie Taylor Greene – though she backed McCarthy – has also urged the former president to take up the gavel, saying the House of Representatives would become “the House of MAGA”.

Prigozhin's Plane

Putin Says Inebriated Passengers Playing With Grenades Blew Up Wagner Chief Prigozhin’s Plane.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has claimed the investigation into the death of Wagner mercenary group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin found his aircraft was brought down after those on board became intoxicated and set off hand grenades. According to Putin, investigators found pieces of metal from exploded grenades in the human remains recovered from the plane’s crash site. Trace amounts of drugs and alcohol were found in blood samples taken as well.

Prigozhin, a former confidant of Putin turned political and military critic, died on August 23, 2023 when a private jet carrying him and nine others crashed about 15 kilometers from Khotilovo, a Russian airbase in the Russian region of Tver. In the immediate aftermath of the incident, it was speculated Russian air defenses may have brought the jet down.

On June 24, 2023, Wagner mercenary forces, who had spent much of the near year-and-a-half prior fighting alongside the Russian military in Ukraine, unexpectedly crossed back into Russia. Under the command of Prigozhin, the mercenaries quickly occupied the Russian city of Rostov and began an over 1,000 kilometer march towards Moscow – initially encountering little resistance. The mercenary – turned rebel – leader inexplicably stood down hours later, ending his quasi-coup with a negotiated surrender.

Prior to his death, Prigozhin had  been spotted in the African nation of Niger. In August, Niger’s military regime appealed to Wagner for help against the Nigeria-led, West-aligned ECOWAS threats to invade the country in order to restore its ousted president.

Bidenomics: Mortgage Rates Surge to Highest in 23 Years.

Mortgage costs have hit their highest level in 23 years under Joe Biden, with prospective buyers now having to submit to an average rate of 7.5 percent for a 30-year home loan, up from 7.3 percent just last week and an average of 6.7 percent last year.

The rate rise puts the archetypal house and white picket fence so associated with the old-fashioned notion of the American Dream further out of reach for many young Americans, who are becoming homeowners progressively later in life, or not at all.

Home ownerships are falling across the country, with Virginia currently the worst-impacted U.S. state, with an 8.8 percent drop. North Dakota, North Carolina, Connecticut, Georgia, and Ohio have also been hit hard, seeing drops of 7.3 to 7.5 percent.

People now have to be able to put up over $2,000 a month to cover their mortgage costs in 31 states, with Hawaii the most expensive of all with costs over $5,000 a month.

Americans who give up on their home ownership dreams in favor of renting are scarcely better off, with the average single-family home costing at least $1,900 a month.

UNIPARTY MAD: Hillary Clinton Demands ‘Backlash’ Against Gaetz.

Former Secretary of State and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has called for a “backlash” against what she calls “extremists” in the House GOP after Kevin McCarthy’s (R-CA) ouster from leadership. A group of eight Republicans sided with House Democrats on Tuesday in the vote to remove McCarthy as speaker.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) spearheaded the vote, with Reps. Steve Scalise (R-LA) and Jim Jordan (R-OH) the main contenders to take over the speakership.

“They do not represent a majority of even the Republican Party,” Clinton insisted. “When you look at the extremists in the House, they certainly don’t represent a majority of the country… Somebody has to stand up and say, ‘Enough!’

“At some point, there needs to be a backlash against the control that this small group of extremists have,” she demanded. “And I don’t know who will lead that, but let’s hope whoever becomes the new speaker will.”

German Populist Leader Says He Was Stabbed With Syringe Before Going Into Shock.

Tino Chrupalla, a member of the German parliament and co-chairman of the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD), was rushed to intensive care after being reportedly “stabbed with a syringe” at a political event in Ingolstadt on Wednesday afternoon.

Chrupalla – who only last week was “debanked” – was taken to hospital after he reportedly went into an anaphylactic shock just moments before he was due to give a speech.

It is believed upon feeling sick, Chrupalla pointed to two men in the crowd who were subsequently arrested, though many details of the attack remain unclear. The Bavarian police have opened an investigation into the incident.

The attack comes just hours after the AfD’s other co-chairman, Alice Weidel, was forced into hiding with her family after authorities found credible evidence of a planned assassination attempt on her life. Weidel was due to give a speech at an AfD event celebrating the German Day of Unity on Tuesday and instead spoke via a video message.

There have been a number of attacks on AfD politicians in recent months, with the Bavarian-based party member Andrea Jurca receiving two black eyes and being forced to walk on crutches after a random attack in August. The party’s deputy leader, Beatrix von Storch, was similarly attacked after she was smeared with dog faeces while giving a talk last month.

Meanwhile, the German establishment’s anti-AfD rhetoric is becoming increasingly inflammatory, with multiple senior politicians and lawmakers attempting to ban the party.

REPORT: DC Insiders ‘Celebrating’ As America Declines.

A who’s who of some of the most powerful people in media dined alongside Democrat politicians on Wednesday night to “celebrate” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. The rationale for which they were celebrating Jean-Pierre, also present, is unclear. The group included at least two major corporate media network heads: Rashida Jones, president of MSNBC and Kim Godwin, president of ABC.

Also in attendance were NBC’s chief Washington correspondent Andrea Mitchell, Hakim Jeffries chief of staff Tasia Jackson, far-Left MSNBC host Joy Reid, Biden White House deputy chief of staff Jen O’Malley Dillon, CNN political correspondent Kasie Hunt, CBS News producer Shawna Thomas, CBS’s Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan, Obama advisor Stephanie Cutter, radical LGBTQ Human Rights Campaign president Kelley Robinson, and Chanelle Hardy who serves as the Head of Civil Rights at Google.

With public trust in the media near a record low, the dinner’s guest list certainly further fuels concerns about partisanship in corporate media. While senior White House staff and major media figures might rub elbows at galas and events like the White House Correspondents Dinner, having so many present at an intimate – yet nondescript – dinner for a White House press secretary is more unusual.

The attendance of Chanelle Hardy, who serves in senior management at tech-and-internet-giant Google, at a dinner with at least two senior White House staffers raises ethical concerns as well. Google is being sued by President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice for violating U.S. anti-trust laws.

Veterans’ Hotel Reservations Canceled to Make Way for Illegal Aliens.

Hotel reservations for the highly-anticipated Army-Navy game in Foxboro, Massachusetts, many booked by veterans, have been canceled in Democrat-dominated Massachusetts to make way for illegal aliens.

Travel agents report their clients are being told they will not be allowed to use the rooms they have booked because hotels owned by Giri Hotel Management have canceled them in order to fulfill state contracts to house migrants, drawn up in response to right-to-shelter laws.

“I have never had a hotel take rooms back and give me nothing. They sent out cancellations and walked away,” said one travel agent. “Some people have decided not to go [to the Army-Navy game], and others [had to find] space in Boston.”

Such behavior has long been common in the United Kingdom, where an ever-increasing flood of illegal aliens crossing the English Channel in small boats has resulted in dozens of hotels all over the country being booked out by government contractors to accommodate them, at a cost of $10 million a day.

Weddings and other functions are often cancelled after hoteliers are offered these lucrative bookings, with hotel staff also being abruptly fired so the government contractors can bring in their own people.

DATA: Support for Arming Ukraine Collapsing.

Support for arming and funding Ukraine in another seemingly endless war is collapsing, with only 41 percent of respondents to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll agreeing that America “should provide weapons to Ukraine”.

Support for U.S. participation in the Ukraine war is falling among supporters of both major political parties. Among Democrats, 52 percent support arming Ukraine, but this is down from 61 percent as recently as May. Among Republicans, support for arming Ukraine stands at just 35 percent, down from 39 percent.

An outright majority of Republicans, 56 percent, believe the Ukraine war is “none of our business and we should not interfere,” as do more than a third of Democrats.

The fall in support for the war follows the apparent failure of a large-scale Ukrainian counter-offensive, involving modern Wester weapons and Western-trained forces, appearing to fail, with no significant breakthroughs anywhere along the front as the rainy season approaches.

Russian forces have in fact gained more territory than they have lost in 2023, capturing 331 square miles since January to Ukraine’s 143.

Ukraine Joining EU Would Cripple Smaller Nations, Cost Near $200Bn.

Ukraine’s accession to the European Union (EU) would cost the bloc a whopping €186 billion ($195 billion) over seven years and require root and branch reform of the entire union, according to an internal note of the Council of the EU.

The document claims all member states would have to pay more into the EU and receive less upon Ukraine‘s incorporation, with many current net receivers forced to become net contributors. Germany, France, and the Netherlands would be required to “significant[ly] increase” their contributions as wealthier nations.

Kiev would instantly qualify for €61 billion ($64 billion) from the EU’s Cohesion Fund – allocated to many of the poorer member states to improve their infrastructure – which would render nine members, including the Czech Republic, Estonia, and Slovenia, ineligible for the funding.

It would also receive €96.5 billion ($101.5 billion) from the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy, which would cut current farming subsidies given to members by 20 percent, alongside several other projects costing tens of billions.

The estimates come as the EU discusses expansion further east into Ukraine as well as eight other states, such as Moldova, Georgia, and six Balkan countries. The total cost of incorporating all nine nations would be around €250 billion ($262.9 billion). There was no consideration given to Turkey’s potential membership.

“Whilst for several policies, opportunities may outweigh the costs/risks, and enlargement will bring benefits to the current member states, enlargement will also have far-reaching impacts on the EU budget,” the document states.

Meanwhile, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban warned that plans for Ukraine’s accession are currently “going nowhere,” highlighting Ukraine’s long-standing oppression of its Hungarian minority as a key factor.
