DeSantis PAC Chief Jeff Roe Admits Trashing Vivek to Corporate Media.

Jeff Roe, the chief strategist for Ron DeSantis’s Super PAC Never Back Down, has taken responsibility for co-ordinating online attacks and spreading dirt on the Republican outsider and DeSantis’ rival, Vivek Ramaswamy. Roe undertook similarly dirty tactics in 2016 against then-candidate Ben Carson.

In a leaked conversation before the recent GOP primary debate, Roe told a number of DeSantis donors and supporters, “Everything you read about [Ramaswamy) is from us… Every misstatement, every 360 he’s conducting or 180 that he is going through in life, is from our scrutiny and pressure. And so, he’s not going to go through that very well, and that will get worse for him.”

Roe, who runs the legally embattled Axiom Strategies, also admitted to his audience that “a big night” for Ramaswamy may prove problematical for the Florida Governor, who required a breakout moment during the debate. The opposite happened, however, with Ramaswamy dominating national and international media coverage, handing DeSantis a rather forgettable performance.

Tricia McLaughlin, a spokeswoman for Ramaswamy, responded: “America watched Vivek dominate the debate stage, it’s no wonder Never Back Down is pissing away another $20+ million after Labor Day.”

Roe recently demanded another $50 million from donors, as his PAC shifts resources to Iowa with a $12 million ad spend, and an admission that he has fewer than 60 days to defeat Donald Trump.

carjackings

D.C. Will See Near 1,000 Carjackings in 2023, With Records Already Broken This Year.

Washington D.C. has witnessed a staggering 670 reported carjackings in 2023 so far, representing 100 percent+ increase in the offense across the U.S. Capitol compared to the same period last year. The city’s Democrat-dominated city council, however, remains on vacation until September 15 and has shown no signs of trying to return early to solve the matter.

In 2018, there were 140 carjackings, jumping to 360 by 2020, with total of 485 in 2022. The city has also seen a 113 percent increase in carjackings involving a firearm compared to 2022. A total of 513 incidents involved a gun, representing 77 percent of all D.C. carjackings. Only 157 incidents did not involve a firearm.

Yet, despite the drastic increase in prevalence of the offense, the number of arrests has only increased by three percent. There have been just 98 criminals arrested overall.

D.C. officials have attempted to reassure the public that they are combatting the increase, announcing, “We are committed to public safety. We will continue to remove violent offenders and hold them accountable for their actions.”

Crime across the United States capitol has increased dramatically over the past year, with violent crime having gone up a whopping 39 percent, according to the city’s police. A recent drive-by shooting witness, an Iraqi Uber driver, said the city was a “war zone” worse than his home nation.

‘BanTheADL’ Trends as Musk Proposes Poll on Removing Anti-Speech Org.

The hashtag ‘#BanTheADL’ trended on X (formerly Twitter) this weekend, with users calling for the removal of the far-left Anti-Defamation League (ADL) as its chief, Jonathan Greenblatt, pushed for more restrictions on free speech.

Greenblatt, a former White House special assistant to Barack Obama, boasted on X of his “very frank + productive conversation with [X CEO Linda Yaccarino] yesterday about X, what works and what doesn’t, and where it needs to go to address hate effectively on the platform… [The ADL] will be vigilant and give her and [Elon Musk] credit if the service gets better…and reserve the right to call them out until it does.”

His post has been viewed over 4.3 million times as of Monday morning, but received only 144 reposts and 361 likes. The vast majority of engagement was negative, with over 89,000 people posting the #BanTheADL hashtag in response to his anti-free speech lobbying.

X owner Elon Musk responded to the controversy by proposing a user referendum on whether the ADL should be banned: “[The] ADL has tried very hard to strangle X/Twitter,” Musk wrote. “Perhaps we should run a poll on this.”

The ADL has become infamous for its hostility towards conservatives, and is accused of regularly “faking” crime statistics to argue right-wingers are the country’s biggest threat. Once a bastion of tackling actual anti-Semitism, the group became wildly politicized under Greenblatt, and is now perceived as little more than a mechanism by which to attack the political right. In doing so, it has actually diluted the cause of confronting actual anti-Semitism.

Ukraine-Born Republican Rep. Wants U.S. To Fund Ukrainian Neo-Nazis.

Ukraine-born Congresswoman Victoria Spartz (R-IN-5) is pushing an amendment to the Department of Defense Appropriations Act which would allow the Biden government to begin funding the notorious Azov Battalion, a Neo-Nazi paramilitary organization now fully integrated into the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Congresswoman was praised by Azov Nazis after visiting with them in May 2022.

A previous ban on U.S. aid to Ukraine being supplied to Azov was reimposed by Congress in 2018, with Congress members describing it as a Neo-Nazi, white supremacist organization. It has remained popular in Ukraine, however, with its prominent role in the defense of Mariupol greatly enhancing its reputation, and once-sharp Western criticism has dulled significantly.

Prior to the outbreak of war, Western media peddled Azov batalion propaganda, though many are now beginning to admit what the unit stands for and its Nazi heritage.

The approval of Rep. Spartz’s proposal to “Strike section 8105 of the bill which prohibits funds to the ‘Azov Battalion'” would mark a point of full rehabilitation for Ukraine’s Nazi forces – whose existence was cited by Vladimir Putin as part-justification for his February 2022 invasion.

Born in Soviet Ukraine in the late 1970s and educated at the Kiev National Economic University, Spartz emigrated to the United States in her twenties and became a U.S. citizen in 2006, becoming a Republican Congresswoman for Indiana in 2021.

‘Take Them Elsewhere or Send Them Back!’ Black Chicagoans Rage Over Illegals.

Chicago residents in the Hyde Park neighborhood let city officials have an earful this week over a plan to house 300 illegal immigrants at the nearby Lake Shore Hotel, telling officials, “Take them somewhere else or send them back to Venezuela!” As well as pointing out, “You’ve got 73 percent of the people homeless in this city are Black people. What have you done for them?”

The neighborhood is known for its black cultural heritage.

The neighborhood overwhelmingly voted for Joe Biden during the 2020 presidential election, less than 5 percent of voters supported Donald Trump. President Biden’s handling of the illegal immigration crisis at the southern border of the United States has drawn increasing criticism from Americans – and may be contributing to plummeting African American support for Biden’s re-election campaign.

It is estimated that Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is releasing more than 100,000 illegal immigrants into the the country each month.

Macron Calls His Two-Term Limit ‘Damnable Bullshit’.

French President Emmanuel Macron has called France’s two-term presidential term limit ‘damnable bullshit,’ causing a number of political opponents to suggest he is drifting towards authoritarian rule.

Leader of the radical socialist ‘Left Party’ Jean-Luc Mélenchon said Macron made the remarks while conducting negotiations with a number of political opposition leaders in a desperate attempt to break the gridlock in the French parliament.

He was responding to the populist Jordan Bardella’s suggestion of a single term limit of seven years, to which the French President said it was “damnable bullshit that one could not be reelected.” The comments were later confirmed by two participants.

The French President spent 12 hours discussing an array of topics such as the war in Ukraine, the nation’s rising inflation and purchasing powers, and institutional reform.

Macron will be forced to forfeit the French presidency in 2027, since he was only re-elected last year, beating the right-wing populist leader, Marine Le Pen. His current disapproval rating is 65 percent, with less than two-thirds approving of his premiership.

Canada’s Women’s Cricket Team is Fielding a Dude.

Canada’s international cricket team has named a transgender woman to play for the Twenty-20 Women’s World Cup next year, arguing that the man’s testosterone levels are sufficiently low enough not to have any advantage over the other women.

Australian-born Danielle McGahey, who was 26 when he began claiming to be a woman and 27 when he began medically transitioning, was permitted to play for Canada after his testosterone levels were consistently less than 5nmolL1 per liter for one year straight. He also provided a “written letter and signed declaration” to the International Cricket Council (ICC) that he thought himself a woman.

McGahey has already played a number of games for Canada as the fixtures did not hold official international cricket status. “Within five months of playing my first game with the women in Canada, I was in Brazil,” he explained in an interview.

“Obviously I felt a huge sense of pride. Not only for what I’m doing, but for my [trans] community. Being able to represent them,” McGahey added.

The selection of McGahey was protested by the Women’s Rights Network (WRN), with the group’s spokeswoman Jane Sullivan arguing, “There are currently 17 peer-reviewed studies that show we cannot mitigate against male puberty when it comes to sporting performance… Any cricket team that has an individual who has been through male puberty already has an unfair advantage over an all-female side.”

This follows British Cycling banning transgenders from competing against women in order to mitigate the men’s natural biologically advantages.

Could Staten Island Secede from NYC to Escape Mayor’s Migrant Crisis?

Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis is pressing New York City Mayor Eric Adams to allow Staten Island to secede, as it seeks to escape having migrant camps and shelters established on its territory by the Democrat.

Adams, who previously styled NYC as a “sanctuary city”, is now struggling to deal with an influx of well over 100,000 migrants, and is demanding conservative-led border states to stop helping migrants to travel to his jurisdiction. He has also asked President Joe Biden to redistribute his migrants to areas locations under federal control elsewhere in the U.S., but is establishing tent cities and other makeshift accommodation sites to host them in NYC in the meantime.

Staten Islanders, who tend to vote Republican, are unhappy at having such sites forced on them, however, with Malliotakis declaring: “If you’re not going to do your job, Mayor, then let Staten Island secede.”

Elaborating on her proposal during a television appearance, she said she believes Staten Island, which is home to a larger population than U.S. cities such as Miami, “would like to have an opportunity to self-govern.”

She accepts that the “reality is the city council and the state legislature would need to let Staten Island go,” however.

A 1993, non-binding vote resulted in 65 percent of Staten Islanders wanting to break ties with New York City. Recently, Councilman Joe Borelli announced a new possible slogan for the district: “nonsicut tu quoque,” which translates from Latin into: “we don’t like you either.”

Far Left Journo Pranked Into Falsely Claiming Conservative Network Faked a Trump Interview.

The left wing Daily Beast website has been forced to issue a correction after being pranked into claiming that an interview with former President Donald Trump, aired on the conservative news network Real America’s Voice, was faked.

The Beast was forced to change their story by notorious left-wing “reporter” Zachary Petrizzo after it became apparent that quotes attributed to Real America’s Voice owner, Rob Sigg were in fact fake themselves.

The embarrassing correction states:

This story has been updated to remove quotes attributed to the owner of Real America’s Voice, Robert Sigg, saying he is investigating whether the call was a prank and criticizing network staffers. A Daily Beast reporter had a conversation by text with a person who identified themselves as Sigg, on a number public records show was once associated with Sigg—but a spokesperson for Real America’s Voice said that it was not Sigg and is not his current number.

Interviewer John Solomon responded to The Daily Beast on X (formerly Twitter) calling their story “defamatory” and something “concocted from the theater of the absurd.”

Prior to the correction, The Beast claimed Sigg likened Solomon’s interview with Trump to “ChatGOP” – a reference to the artificial intelligence language model ChatGPT. The fake Sigg also claimed Solomon and Head were responsible for a “major oversight”, that the networks “news directors will need to go through additional training about journalism practice”, and that an “internal investigation” was underway.

The Daily Beast appears to have not reached out to representatives of former President Trump prior to publishing the fake interview claim. Less than ten minutes after the publication of the original story alleging Solomon interviewed a ‘fake’ Trump, the former President posted a link to the interview on Truth Social, adding, “Crooked Joe Biden is the most incompetent President in history, and he’s the most corrupt President in history…”

DeSantis Chief Demands $50M from Donors, Admits 60 Days Left to Stop Trump.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s presidential campaign is betting the farm on winning the 2024 Iowa Caucuses, according to leaked audio from a meeting between the leadership of pro-DeSantis SuperPAC Never Back Down and donors held just before the first Republican primary debate.

Jeff Roe, DeSantis’s Never Back Down PAC chief strategist, also admitted to donors the campaign has just 60 days to defeat former President Donald Trump and that the SuperPAC would need an additional $50 million before the second Republican primary debate on September 27th.

Never Back Down has also halted its paid door-knocking efforts in Super Tuesday primary states, as well as in the critical early state of Nevada. The SuperPAC’s cost cutting moves come as it shifts resources into Iowa – including a nearly $12 million ad-buy announced earlier this week.

Roe told donors: “If you have an education, if you have higher income, if you read the Bible and if you go to church regularly, you happen to be a DeSantis supporter.”

What the DeSantis campaign considers to be a ‘likely DeSantis supporter’ might explain why the Florida Governor has failed to gain traction in polling and trails former President Donald Trump by double digits in most state primary contests. According to the Pew Research Center the majority of American Catholics and Evangelical Protestants earn less than $50,000 per year. Mainline Protestants are early evenly split with with 49 percent estimated to earn less than $50,000 and 51 percent earning more. Only Mormons and Eastern Orthodox Christians have populations with sizable majority earning over $50,000. As far as education, the Pew data indicates well over 40 percent of Catholics and Evangelical Protestants have only a high school education or less – and nearly 40 percent of Mainline Protestants.
