Musk Calls US & China ‘Conjoined Twins’ in Kowtowing CCP Trip.

Tech billionaire and Twitter chairman Elon Musk bent the knee to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on a trip to the Far East.

Musk, who recently hitched his wagon to Republican presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis, was amongst a number of Western executives who travelled to China to pay court to the CCP this week.

“The interests of the United States and China are intertwined like conjoined twins,” said Musk, per the Chinese foreign ministry, rejecting proposals that America and the wider West should “decouple” from the hard-left dictatorship.

Musk’s relationship with the CCP – much like his recent hiring of World Economic Forum WEF) executive Linda Yaccarino as Twitter CEO – sits uncomfortably with his stated support for freedom of speech, a concept absolutely not tolerated by Beijing.

The South African’s links to China are strong. Chinese firms helped to fund his 2022 takeover of Twitter – despite its being banned in China – and he hailed the 100-year-anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party on Twitter equivalent Weibo in 2021.

LISTEN – Ron Paul: ‘It’s Going to Get Worse’.

Former Texas Congressman and conservative-libertarian legend Ron Paul has warned that America’s economic and political situations are “going to get worse before they get better,” in a formidable interview for the Steak for Breakfast podcast.

Speaking to hosts Rone and Noah, Congressman Ron Paul doffed his cap to his son on Capitol Hill – Senator Rand Paul – as being one of the few Republicans on the Hill to understand the political miasma taking root in the United States.

The Steak for Breakfast episode also features Ambassador Carla Sands, the anonymized men’s blogger ‘Raw Egg Nationalist‘, and the Heritage Foundation’s Richard A. Stern for the inside scoop on the budget and debt deal negotiations taking place in D.C.

Arguments for and against the deal between President Joe Biden and Speaker Kevin McCarthy are considered from an America First perspective on the show, which can be heard here.

The show is also available on Apple Podcasts, Google, Spotify, and all other major podcast platforms.

Sh*t Peter Griffin Runs for President.

The former Governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, who’s expected to announce his presidential campaign next Tuesday, has a current net favorability rating of -26, according to the Monmouth University Polling Institute.

Former Governor Christie — once lampooned by TV comic Family Guy — was favorable to just 21 percent of Republican voters, down from 24 percent in March.

Forty-seven percent of voters found him to be “unfavorable”, however, with a further eight percent telling pollsters that they have “not heard of” Chris Christie.

Christie, a one-time hanger-on Donald Trump, is now branding him a “coward” and “puppet of Putin.” Christie himself is far behind Trump in terms of voter sentiment.

Donald Trump is currently leading among Republicans with 77 percent, and rising. In March this year, Trump’s favorability was 71 percent – an overall six percent increase in the last two months.

Worse still for Christie is another survey conducted by Marquette Law School, which found his favorability among potential Republican voters to be -22 percent with him likely to receive .5 percent  of Republican primary support alongside Asa Hutchinson.

Christie is expected to announce his candidacy for president next week in New Hampshire, according to Axios.

WATCH: Maricopa Election Officials Break into Sealed Voting Machines Ahead of Kari Lake Vote.

Video evidence has surfaced, showing multiple election machines being broken into after they were ‘logic and accuracy’ tested in Maricopa County, Arizona.

According to Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake‘s War Room, “[o]n October 14th, 17th & 18th, Maricopa County performed secret testing on the tabulators” after being tested.

There were 446 tabulators in Maricopa County, 260 of which failed. More than 59 percent of tabulators failed, yet used on election day.

Over a three day period, October 14th, 17th and 18th, they went in, broke the seals, removed the memory cards, and tinkered with the machines. The failing machines are believed to have been placed in Republican areas.

“Maricopa County did NOT Follow The Law. Instead, they ensured mass failure and chaos on Election Day,” argues Lake.

WATCH:

This follows recent video footage of Arizona counting ballots within three seconds or less with “a ludicrous 99.97 percent success rate.”

Britain Is Sharing Chinese Dissident Info With the CCP.

The British government has been handing the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) the addresses and bank details of dissidents living in the United Kingdom, reports have revealed.

Having governed Hong Kong until the 1990s, Britain is a popular destination for pro-democracy activists seeking refuge from the Chinese authorities – but their reach is long, and they operate many so-called “secret police stations” in Western countries, including over 100 on British soil.

Now, it appears the British authorities may be aiding and abetting them, with The Times reporting that some Chinese nationals in Britain are being automatically “doxed” to Beijing under an international tax treaty.

“There is no reason why HMRC should be providing sensitive tax information on individuals to an authoritarian regime that has published a ‘wanted list’ of high-profile activists it seeks to target overseas,” said Sam Goodman, policy director at Hong Kong Watch, in comments to The Times.

In a wooden response to the revelations, His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) – the British equivalent of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) – insisted that it “exchanges data with around 100 countries to help tackle tax evasion and non-compliance in-line with international treaties,” and that this data “can only be used for tax purposes and all countries must pass a rigorous assessment by independent experts to ensure the data is used appropriately.”

How it ensures the information it hands to the notoriously secretive Chinese police state is only used “appropriately” was not explained.

The British did say people can ask to have their information withheld if they believe their human rights are at risk, but The Times notes that the means to do this is “hidden on an obscure part of the government website” – and not one person has had their information redacted to date.

Lé CCP: France Will Ban Twitter Unless It Censors ‘Disinformation’.

The French government has threatened to have Elon Musk’s Twitter banned from the European Union if it does not comply with regulations against content deemed “disinformation” by state authorities.

Disinformation is one of the gravest threats weighing on our democracies,” claimed Jean-Noël Barrot, the government minister responsible for “digital transition” and telecommunications in Emmanuel Macron’s France.

“Twitter, if it repeatedly doesn’t follow our rules, will be banned from the EU,” he threatened.

The broadside follows Musk’s move to withdraw Twitter from a supposedly voluntary code of practice on disinformation backed by the European Commission, the unelected body which serves as the EU’s executive as well as the major initiator of EU-level legislation.

Among other things, the code aims to keep social media users “protected from disinformation”, cut off monetization for alleged “purveyors of disinformation”, boost so-called “authoritative sources”, and “empower the fact-checking community“.

“You can run but you can’t hide,” tweeted Commissioner Thierry Breton, another Frenchman, after Musk dropped the code, warning that many of its requirements will become legal obligations in August, when the Digital Services Act (DSA) comes into force across the EU.

birthright citizenship

Trump to End Birthright Citizenship, Stop Illegal Alien ‘Birth Tourism’ on ‘Day One’.

Donald Trump has vowed to put an end to birthright citizenship for children born to illegal aliens on the first day of his return to office.

“As part of my plan to secure the border, on day one of my new term in office I will sign an executive order making clear to federal agencies that, under the correct interpretation of the law, going forward the future children of illegal aliens will not receive automatic U.S. citizenship,” he said in his latest Agenda 47 video.

“Joe Biden has launched an illegal foreign invasion of our country, allowing a record number of illegal aliens to storm across our borders,” Trump blasted.

“Under Biden’s current policies, even though these millions of illegal border crossers have entered the country unlawfully, all of their future children will become automatic U.S. citizens… They’ll be eligible for welfare, taxpayer-funded healthcare, the right to vote, chain migration, and countless other government benefits, many of which will also profit the illegal alien parents,” he explained, describing the current policy as “a reward for breaking the laws of the United States [and] obviously a magnet helping draw the flood of illegals across our borders.”

Many Western countries, such as the United Kingdom, reserve the right to strip people born on their soil of citizenship if they are dual nationals or eligible for citizenship elsewhere.

You Can Now MAKE Money Buying Bud Light. Still, No One Will.

Anheuser-Busch (AB), the parent company of Bud Light, is offering supermarket customers across the country the opportunity to actually make money by buying their beer. Still, no one seems all that interested,

In a promotion called “US Budweiser Family Memorial Day”, AB is paying for customers to get a $15 rebate for a crate of Bud Light costing as little as $9.97 with an “Anheuser-Busch Digital Prepaid Mastercard.”

Customers can make up to two submissions for the rebate between May 17 and May 23 and another between May 24 and May 31.

Regardless, the shelves remained fully stocked during the promotion, whilst other beers on America’s shelves sold out en masse for Memorial Day Weekend. The only person who seemed remotely tempted was Ron DeSantis supporter Ben Kew, who tweeted: “This is actually getting to the stage where the insane value proposition outweighs my disgust with Dylan Mulvaney.”

bud light

The international boycott of Bud Light began after the Beer brand decided to criticize their usual customer base as “fratty” and “out of touch” and use Dylan Mulvaney in an advertisement campaign in early April this year.

Bud Lights sales are now down 29.5 percent compared to what they were this time last year, and AB’s market value has hemorrhaged almost $16 billion since the backlash.

debt deal

DeSantis Spox Splits With Ron, Endorses Debt Deal.

Governor Ron DeSantis’s “Never Back Down PAC” spokesman Steve Cortes has split with the newly minted presidential candidate over the McCarthy-Biden debt deal looming over Congress.

DeSantis tweeted on Sunday: “Our country is careening toward bankruptcy, and after this debt ceiling ‘deal’ it will still be careening toward bankruptcy. The deal green lights $4 trillion in new debt over the next year and a half, locks in inflated levels of spending from COVID, and keeps 98% of the Biden IRS expansion.”

His view is widely shared, including by this website. But his “National Spokesman” Steve Cortes disagrees, in a strange moment of internal division for the DeSantis team, and one that may deepen the turmoil in Tallahassee.

Cortes wrote: “Conservatives should welcome the deal that the GOP House negotiated against an obstinate Biden Administration… this agreement represents a worthy deal that should receive the support of patriotic populists.”

Cortes does accept there is more to be done, and did not sign the op-ed in his capacity as Never Back Down spokesman. The news comes as former Cruz strategist Jeff Roe removed long time DeSantis advisor Phil Cox from the campaign, after a horrific week for the campaign.

DATA: Voters Support Govt Shutdown Until Spending is Cut.

A majority of Americans – 54 percent – would prefer a partial government shutdown until federal spending reduces than avoiding a shutdown by authorizing higher levels of government spending, according to a recent survey by Rasmussen Reports.

The majority comprised more than a third of Democrats – 36 percent – and almost two-thirds of Republicans – 74 percent.

A total of 57 percent of Democrats and only 17 percent of Republicans would prefer increased spending would prefer more spending.

Responsibility for the Federal Deficit Budget.

Rasmussen Reports also asked the 1038 likely U.S. voters: “Which is more to blame for the size of the federal budget deficit? Either “taxpayers’ unwillingness to pay more in taxes” or “politicians’ unwillingness to reduce government spending.”

The overwhelming majority of Americans – 68 percent – believe politicians are to blame, including a whopping 88 percent of Republicans and 47 percent of Democrats.

Only 40 percent of Democrats believed that an unwillingness to pay taxes was the primary reason for the size of the budget deficit.

Delay in Debt-Ceiling Increase.

Lastly, Rasmussen posed the question: “How likely is it that delay in passing a debt-ceiling increase will lead to the United States defaulting on its debt payments?”

A majority of 57 percent believed it was either “very likely” or “somewhat likely,” with 67 percent of Democrats and 45 percent of Republicans.
