Kash Patel’s FBI Arrests Corrupt Federal Bureaucrat Who Stole FEMA Funds.

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel announced his agents have arrested an allegedly corrupt federal government official charged with executing a scheme to defraud the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and lying to federal agents. On Wednesday, the Acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan announced charges against Serina Baker-Hill, a career federal employee who serves as the director of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Center for Excellence and Expertise over Automotive and Aerospace Engineering for the alleged fraud plot.

“Following efforts with our interagency partners, I can report that a career Director level employee at US Customs and Border Protection has been charged with allegedly attempting to defraud FEMA, as well as lying to federal agents,” FBI Director Patel stated in a post on X (formerly Twitter), adding: “This is part of the new FBI’s renewed efforts to crack down on public corruption and deliver accountability for the American people. Justice will be done.”

Baker-Hill, according to the criminal complaint, filed for FEMA assistance following the 2023 floods in Detroit, Michigan. While a FEMA inspector found that the basement of Baker-Hill’s home had suffered water damage, and Baker-Hill claimed her home was unlivable while under repair, federal investigators found that the CBP official did not use the relief funds to pay for approved expenses like rent and utilities.

“According to Baker-Hill’s bank records, none of the FEMA money was used for rental, hotel, or utility expenses,” the U.S. Attorney’s office states. They add: “Video surveillance at the home showed that Baker-Hill and her husband continued to live in the home after receiving the rental assistance funds from FEMA.”

Additionally, federal prosecutors say Baker-Hill lied to FBI and CBP agents when questioned regarding the FEMA funds.

Foreign-Born Share of U.S. Population Hit All-Time High in January.

The foreign-born share of the United States population hit an all-time high in January, according to the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS). At 15.8 percent of the total U.S. population, the ratio of foreign-born individuals living in the country to native-born now exceeds prior highs reached during the mass immigration influxes experienced in 1890 and 1910.

Citing data from the federal government’s January 2025 Current Population Survey (CPS), the CIS report reveals that at the start of the year, there were 53.3 million foreign-born individuals residing in the U.S. The immigration policy group notes that this represents an 8.3 million increase from the total foreign-born population share when former President Joe Biden took office in 2021. Additionally, CIS estimates that of the 8.3 million increase, at least 5.4 million—or two-thirds—are illegal immigrants. It should be noted that CIS states these numbers do not include potentially millions of foreign-born individuals missed by the federal government survey.

“At 15.8 percent of the total U.S. population, the foreign-born share is higher now than at the prior peaks reached in 1890 and 1910. No U.S. government survey or census has ever shown such a large foreign-born population,” the CIS report states, continuing: “The current numbers have rendered Census Bureau projections obsolete. Just two years ago, the Bureau projected the foreign-born share would not reach 15.8 percent until 2042.”

Noting that the government figures represent net growth, the CIS report contends: “Our best estimate is that 11.5 to 12.5 million legal and illegal immigrants settled in the country in the last four years,” adding, “…our preliminary estimate is that there are 15.4 million illegal immigrants in the January 2025 CPS, an increase of more than 50 percent (5.4 million) over the last four years in the survey.”

Trump’s ‘Radical Pro-Hamas’ Student Deportee Has UK Govt Security Clearance: REPORT.

Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian Columbia University graduate and U.S. permanent resident now detained in a federal jail in Louisiana following his arrest by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on Saturday night, previously worked with the British government. Khalil emerged as a key figure during the anti-Israel campus encampment in the spring of 2024, serving as a lead negotiator for student protesters. His arrest over the weekend prompted a federal judge to issue a temporary block on his deportation, leaving his fate hanging in the balance as legal proceedings unfold.

President Donald J. Trump branded Khalil a “Radical Foreign Pro-Hamas Student” on Monday, hailing his arrest as “the first of many to come” for foreign agitators. “We know there are more students at Columbia and other Universities across the Country who have engaged in pro-terrorist, anti-Semitic, anti-American activity, and the Trump Administration will not tolerate it,” he wrote on his Truth Social platform. “Many are not students, they are paid agitators. We will find, apprehend, and deport these terrorist sympathizers from our country—never to return again. If you support terrorism, including the slaughtering of innocent men, women, and children, your presence is contrary to our national and foreign policy interests, and you are not welcome here.”

From 2018 to 2022, Khalil worked as a program manager at the British Embassy’s Syria Office in Beirut, Lebanon, overseeing the Syria Chevening Program—a prestigious British scholarship initiative. Online records confirm his role in managing these efforts, which aimed to foster ties with future global leaders for Britain’s Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO).

Andrew Waller, a former British diplomat and policy advisor at the Syria Office during Khalil’s tenure, told Middle East Eye that Khalil “went through a vetting process to get the job and was cleared to work on sensitive issues for the British government.”

Waller described the Chevening scholarship as a “flagship UK soft power policy” that draws top talent worldwide to British universities. “Mahmoud ran its Syria program and interviewed hundreds, if not thousands, of applicants on behalf of the British government,” he said. Khalil also served as a “local staff political officer,” leveraging his linguistic skills to support high-level meetings.

Poll Shows How Many Americans Hold Favorable View of Hamas.

The Hamas terrorist organization is seeing an increase in support among Americans, with one in seven now saying they have a positive view of the Islamist group that perpetrated the barbaric October 7, 2023, terrorist attacks against Israel. According to a new poll conducted by J.L. Partners, roughly 14 percent of 1,019 registered American voters surveyed said they have a very positive or somewhat positive opinion of Hamas. This marks a 12 percent increase in support for the terrorist organization since the October 7 attacks a year and a half ago.

In the same survey, Israel saw a modest increase in positive perception of just three percent since October 2023. Currently, 50 percent of respondents have a positive opinion of Israel, while 19 percent hold a negative opinion.

The data comes amid a new outburst of pro-Palestinian demonstrations, particularly on college campuses, leading to confrontations with law enforcement. Recently, former Columbia University graduate student Mahmoud Khalil was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after leading a demonstration and is slated for deportation. President Donald J. Trump heralded Khalil’s arrest as the beginning of a crackdown, with Education Secretary Linda McMahon notifying 60 educational institutions to safeguard Jewish students.

Additionally, as part of broader measures, Columbia University faces a significant $400 million cut in federal funding due to its handling of anti-Israel protests last year. The Trump White House justified the action by citing the university’s insufficient response to harassment incidents against Jewish students.

Nearly 1 Million in Britain Struggle To Speak English.

Nearly a million people in Britain cannot speak English fluently, with over 130,000 unable to speak a word of the language native to the British Isles. According to the 2021 UK Census, approximately 10 percent of the United Kingdom’s foreign-born population—equivalent to 932,208 people — face challenges in speaking English.

The data provided by the UK Statistics Authority to the Conservative Party shows that 8.6 percent, or 794,332 people, have limited English skills, and 1.4 percent, or 137,876 individuals, cannot speak the language at all. Consequently, just over half of migrants aged 16 and above reported that English is their primary language, and only 38.4 percent state they can speak English well.

The UK’s population reached 67.6 million in mid-2022 and is projected to rise to 72.5 million by 2032. Net migration is expected to be around 631,000 this year, a decrease from the recent high of 906,000.

Criticism is mounting against Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s government regarding migration policy management. Subsequently, the government has dismissed allegations of inefficacy in addressing people smuggling across the Channel. The ruling Labour Party continues to resist calls to implement a migration cap.

Meanwhile, some estimate that as many as one in twelve residents of London, Britain’s largest city, are illegal immigrants.

Migrants Over 70% More Likely to Commit Sex Crimes Than Native Britons.

Migrants are 70 percent more likely to commit sex crimes compared to natives in Great Britain, new data reveals. While details on the ethnic and migration backgrounds of offenders remain undisclosed by authorities, figures released via Freedom of Information requests by the Centre for Migration Control highlight a notable trend.

From 2021 to 2023, migrants or individuals with “unknown” nationality accounted for nearly 23 percent of all sexual offenses, including rape, in Britain. This statistic is notable given that migrants represent approximately 9.3 percent of the population.

The Centre for Migration Control’s analysis reveals significant variations among different groups. North Africans reportedly have a 6.6-fold increased likelihood of committing sex crimes compared to Britons. Similarly, Middle Eastern individuals are 3.8 times more likely, and Sub-Saharan Africans are 2.6 times more likely to be convicted of such offenses.

The think tank’s research identified 87 foreign ethnic groups with sex crime conviction rates surpassing those of native Britons. Government figures highlight that individuals from Afghanistan and Eritrea face over 20 times the likelihood of sex offense convictions compared to the native population.

In the broader context of crime, migrants are disproportionately represented. Over 100,000 migrants were convicted of serious crimes in Britain from 2021 to 2023. Figures released last year revealed that Albanians offend the most, with an incarceration rate of 232.33 per 10,000 people.

Egg Prices Are Down Nearly $2.00 in Just 13 Days Following Trump Plan to Lower Cost.

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins announced on Tuesday that egg prices nationwide have begun falling following the Trump administration’s efforts to boost domestic supply. According to Rollins, following measures implemented late last month, the average cost of a dozen eggs has decreased by nearly $2.00.

“A good piece of news we just got in the last day or two is that the average cost of a dozen eggs has now gone down $1.85 since we announced our plan about a week and a half ago,” Rollins said in a video posted to X (formerly Twitter). However, the Agriculture Secretary did warn that prices could creep back up slightly as the country heads into the Easter holiday and demand increases.

In a recent op-ed, Rollins detailed the administration’s strategy to tackle egg prices, which climbed significantly under former President Joe Biden following mass culls of chickens to combat avian flu outbreaks and inflationary pressure. “This five-point strategy won’t erase the problem overnight, but we’re confident that it will restore stability to the egg market over the next three to six months,” Rollins wrote, adding: “This approach will also ensure stability over the next four years and beyond.”

Notably, the Trump administration is set to invest around a billion dollars in stabilizing prices, with the money largely going toward combatting bird flu and supporting vaccine research.

Let European Voters Decide if Ukraine Can Join the EU, Orban Suggests.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced Hungary’s intention to hold a referendum on Ukraine’s potential membership in the European Union (EU). Orbán revealed this plan during discussions in Brussels following a summit with EU leaders. He emphasized the importance of involving the public in such critical decisions rather than allowing decisions to be made solely at the governmental level.

The summit, which included representatives from every EU member state, had initially aimed to issue a unified declaration of continued military support for Ukraine amidst its ongoing conflict with Russia. However, Hungary’s veto, led by Orbán, blocked the statement, as unanimous consent from all EU nations is required for such declarations.

“Twenty-six out of twenty-seven member states argued that Ukraine should continue the war,” Orban stated following the summit before continuing: “Hungary remained on the side of peace.”

The Hungarian leader added that the EU should alternatively “support the President of the United States with the greatest possible strength and energy in order to ensure the success of peace negotiations.”

Since 2010, Orbán’s government has frequently used referendums to gauge public opinion on significant issues. In 2016, a referendum was conducted regarding Hungary’s acceptance of EU migrant quotas, with a majority opposing the policy.

Orbán highlighted that Hungary stands out within the EU for consulting its citizens directly on major issues through referendums. Despite the non-binding nature of these public votes, they provide insight into public opinion and support for government policies.

A long-time ally of President Donald J. Trump, Prime Minister Orbán has also worked toward achieving a ceasefire in Ukraine.

Lone, Far Left Democrat Votes Against Bill Aimed at Monitoring Drug Cartel Smuggling Tunnels Under U.S. Border.

Far-left Democrat Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) cast the only vote against a bill that will require an annual report on cartel smuggling tunnels used to traffick drugs and people from Mexico into the United States. The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Subterranean Border Defense Act, also known as H.R. 495, with an overwhelming majority on Monday.

The legislation mandates that U.S. Customs and Border Protection submit an annual report to Congress detailing cartel smuggling tunnels and measures taken against them. With a 402-1 vote, Representative Tlaib was the lone dissenter.

Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ), who introduced the bill, expressed satisfaction with the outcome. “I thought for sure everyone was gonna vote yes on my bill this evening,” Crane posted on X. He added, “402-1 is still pretty solid though.”

The bill enjoyed widespread bipartisan support, with Democratic co-sponsor Rep. Lou Correa (D-CA) describing it as “an important step in the right direction.” Other co-sponsors include Reps. Biggs (R-AZ), Gosar (R-AZ), Higgins (R-LA), Luttrell (R-TX), Ogles (R-TN), Guest (R-MS), and Gillen (D-NY).

Rep. Crane highlighted on the House floor the significant threat posed by these tunnels. Over 140 tunnels have been discovered since 1990, with an 80 percent increase in activity since 2008.

The tunnels are used for both human trafficking—including sex trafficking—and drug smuggling. President Donald J. Trump promised to crack down on those smuggling the deadly drug fentanyl into the U.S. and has ordered the Mexican cartels to be declared terrorist organizations.

REVEALED: Judge Blocking Pro-Hamas Student Deportation is Obama-Linked Son of Democrat Mega Donor.

The federal judge blocking the deportation of pro-Hamas activist Mahmoud Khalil—a key instigator of alleged anti-semitic unrest and intimidation on the Columbia University campus—is the scion of a powerful and influential liberal family with ties to George Soros, Media Matters for America, and former President Barack Obama, The National Pulse can reveal.

U.S. District Court Judge Jesse M. Furman, who issued a temporary order preventing Khalil’s removal from the United States while he considers a habeas corpus challenge to the arrest filed by Khalil’s attorney, holds a deeply liberal political pedigree and even clashed with President Donald J. Trump during his first term. He was appointed by former President Obama in 2011.

THE FIRST CLASH.

In late 2018, Judge Furman presided over Department of Commerce v. New York, in which 17 Democrat states sued the Trump admin over adding a question to the 2020 U.S. Census asking the respondent’s citizenship status.

The Commerce Department, which oversees the census, argued that the citizenship question was added back in order to ensure compliance with the Voting Rights Act of 1965. During the discovery phase, prior to the trial proceedings, Judge Furman came to believe the question was actually added to the census form under the direction of Trump’s White House chief strategist, Stephen K. Bannon, and then-Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach (R).

Furman attempted the unusual move to have then-Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross deposed before the trial, but was reversed after an emergency appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.

After several delays, Furman finally ruled in the case on January 15, 2019, finding in favor of the Democrat-controlled states and against the Trump administration. The liberal judge contended “…the decision to add a citizenship question to the 2020 census – even if it did not violate the Constitution itself – was unlawful for a multitude of independent reasons and must be set aside.”

Furman’s ruling was subsequently upheld upon appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court—though the justices left open the potential for the citizenship question to be added to the 2020 Census under other justifications.

SCION OF LIBERAL ELITES.

While Judge Furman has made a name for himself in far-left legal circles since his appointment to the federal bench by former President Barack Obama in 2012, he remains overshadowed by his brother and late mother—both of whom have held tremendous influence over aspects of American politics. The judge’s brother, Jason Furman—a Harvard economist and professor—served as the chair of the Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) under former President Obama.

As an Obama White House advisor, Jason Furman is credited as one of the key architects of Obamacare and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which contained substantial bailouts for corporate interests following the 2008 financial crisis. So enamored was Obama with Furman that the former president dubbed him “one of the most brilliant economic minds of his generation.”

Following the Obama White House, Jason Furman continues his advocacy for globalist neoliberal economics. He sits on the Council on Foreign Relations, the G30 economic group, and the Aspen Economic Strategy Group. Additionally, he contributes to The Wall Street Journal.

FUNDING THE LEFT.

Although Judge Jesse Furman and his brother Jason both made names for themselves in elite Democrat political circles, their late mother, Gail Furman, was a true liberal political heavyweight. As the president of the Furman Foundation, Gail Furman was an early and major backer of Media Matters for America and its founder, David Brock. Additionally, the Furman Foundation served as a major donor to the Tides Center—an affiliate of the far-left Tides Foundation.

Media Matters—which has also received significant funding from billionaire progressive George Soros—has long engaged in partisan media manipulation in an effort to silence conservative and populist voices. Additionally, the far-left group is considered by most a staunch ally of Hillary Clinton.

However, Gail Furman’s influence in American politics extends even further. Along with George Soros and members of the progressive Democracy Alliance, Gail Furman was responsible for launching the Secretary of State Project—a 527 political action committee (PAC) that, between 2006 and 2010, sought to elect Democratic Secretaries of State across the country. Once elected, these Secretaries of State proceeded to undermine election integrity and loosen voter laws, effectively tilting elections in favor of Democratic candidates.

Notably, the PAC was integral in the election of Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie in 2006. Ritchie would go on to oversee the 2008 United States Senate election recount in Minnesota—a race that eventually went narrowly to the Democrat candidate Al Franken by a margin of just 312 votes.
