BREAKING: Zelensky Starts Row with Vance, Trump Warns Him, ‘You’re Gambling with World War III.’

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky started a blazing row with Vice President J.D. Vance in the Oval Office during a press conference on a pending minerals deal, prompting President Donald J. Trump to intervene strongly against the Ukrainian leader’s “very disrespectful” behavior.

Addressing a question from the press, Vance said that engaging in diplomacy may be “the path to peace and the path to prosperity” before Zelensky cut in to recall the beginnings of Ukraine’s conflict with Russia in 2014 and sarcastically ask him, “What kind of ‘diplomacy,’ J.D., you are speaking about [sic]? What do you mean?”

Vance responded in strong terms, saying it was “disrespectful” to attack the Trump administration in front of the media in this way, while Zelensky continued to snipe at him about his understanding of Ukraine’s problems. President Trump lost patience when Zelensky began lecturing Vance on the negative consequences he would feel if the conflict crossed his “nice ocean.”

“Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel. You’re in no position to dictate what we’re going to feel,” Trump warned.

“You’re not in a good position. You don’t have the cards right now,” the President continued.

Zelensky shot back, saying that he was “not playing cards,” with Trump responding, “You’re playing cards. You’re gambling with the lives of millions of people. You’re gambling with World War III. And what you’re doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country, that’s backed you far more than a lot of people said they should have.”

“In this entire meeting, have you said ‘thank you’ once?” Vance asked, recalling how Zelensky campaigned for Kamala Harris in Pennsylvania in 2024.

President Trump told Zelensky in no uncertain terms he was “not winning” without American support, praising the bravery of Ukraine’s soldiers but stressing their reliance on American equipment. “Your people are dying. You’re running low on soldiers… And then you say, ‘I don’t want a ceasefire, I don’t want a ceasefire,'” he continued.

“I’ve empowered you to be a tough guy, and I don’t think you’d be a tough guy without the United States,” Trump added bluntly. “Your people are very brave, but you’re either going to make a deal, or we’re out.”

Trump Proposes Ambitious ‘Trump Gaza’ Development Plan.

President Donald J. Trump has put forth a vision for Gaza, termed “Trump Gaza,” accompanied by artificial intelligence (AI) imagery. A Truth Social post shared by the America First leader envisions high-rise hotels, attractive beaches, belly dancers, and Elon Musk enjoying a beachside meal in the Middle Eastern territory.

It also features a statue of Trump and a scene of him with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In early February, President Trump proposed a U.S. takeover of the Gaza Strip, expressing optimism about transforming the area.

He asserted that the U.S. would manage the region effectively, creating numerous jobs and contributing positively to the Middle East. Trump described Gaza as a potential “Riviera of the Middle East.” Days later, he elaborated on this plan, suggesting that the Gaza Strip would be transferred to the U.S. and that Palestinians would be resettled into safer communities with modern amenities.

Despite outrage in some quarters, some Gaza civilians have shown support for relocation. For instance, a 22-year-old law student told The Daily Wire, “In light of the suffering by the people of Gaza, the need to travel has become urgent, as it is no longer suitable for living a dignified life as other people live,” adding: “We want to feel safe and secure—to feel stability and live a normal life.”

Gaza has been brutally ruled by the terrorist group Hamas since the last election in the area in 2006. The Islamists placed first in the Strip, but not the West Bank, choosing to take over Gaza by force in 2007.

Since the Israeli response to the October 7, 2023 massacres, Hamas’s control of Gaza has diminished, with many of its leaders killed by Israeli military forces.

US-Ukraine Mineral Deal Text Revealed.

The Kyiv Independent reported that it obtained the detailed text of a mineral deal agreement between the United States and Ukraine. This development comes after Kyiv and Washington reached an agreement on February 25. Recent negotiations have heightened tensions between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Reports suggest that the U.S. initially proposed three options, with Ukraine rejecting the first two due to the absence of security guarantees. Despite this, pressure from Washington increased. Zelensky is anticipated to visit Washington soon for a potential signing ceremony, which could occur as early as February 28, according to a senior Ukrainian official. In a February 26 interview with Suspilne, Zelensky confirmed governmental approval of the deal, though he noted the lack of security assurances. He emphasized the importance of the partnership being Ukrainian-American, rather than solely American.

The agreement outlines the creation of a Reconstruction Investment Fund, which will be subject to further clarification through a subsequent Fund Agreement necessitating ratification by Ukraine’s parliament. The document stresses the U.S. and Ukraine’s commitment to mutual investment in Ukraine’s reconstruction and the overall goal of achieving lasting peace. It emphasizes Ukraine’s past contributions to international security through the relinquishment of its nuclear arsenal and aims to prevent any entities that have opposed Ukraine during the conflict from benefiting from its reconstruction.

The Fund will manage revenues from Ukraine’s natural resources and infrastructure projects, with contributions reinvested annually within Ukraine. The U.S. plans to maintain a long-term financial commitment to Ukraine’s economic stability, pending development under U.S. law. Both nations aim for the Fund’s investment processes to generate capital necessary for Ukraine’s recovery efforts and are committed to avoiding conflicts with existing international agreements. The finalization of the Fund Agreement is prioritized, which will further define the implementation of this bilateral accord.

Zelensky Caves, Agrees to a Minerals Deal: Report.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reportedly agreed to President Donald J. Trump’s deal on rare earth minerals for continued assistance after negotiating more favorable terms for Ukraine. The Ukrainian leader is now ready to agree to the deal after the Trump administration reportedly made a concession on acquiring rights to $500 billion in revenue from mineral extraction as a way to pay the U.S. back for the billions of dollars given to Ukraine to fight its war against Russia.

Olha Stefanishyna, Ukraine’s deputy prime minister and justice minister, stated, “The minerals agreement is only part of the picture. We have heard multiple times from the U.S. administration that it’s part of a bigger picture.”

President Zelensky initially rejected the agreement, supposedly shouting at U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent during a meeting in Kiev when it was discussed. Zelensky was said to be angry at the prospect of having to pay back U.S. taxpayers. Under the new deal, Ukraine will contribute half of the proceeds from the future monetization of mineral extraction, as well as state-owned oil and gas, to a fund dedicated to investing in domestic projects. It is unclear what size stake the U.S. government will also have in this fund.

However, the deal does not contain any explicit security guarantees for Ukraine. Zelensky has been adamant about security guarantees from NATO and the United States, even demanding that U.S. troops be deployed in the country after a possible ceasefire with Russia. He has also demanded Ukraine be allowed to enter the NATO military alliance, going as far as threatening to acquire nuclear weapons if rejected.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration continues to engage in bilateral talks with Russia in an effort to end its ongoing conflict with Ukraine.

‘Very Angry’ Zelensky Screamed at Trump Treasury Secretary During Mineral Talks.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has rejected a proposal from the Trump administration that involved trading Ukraine’s mineral resources for security assurances. The proposal, presented by U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, was intended to offer long-term security guarantees against Russian aggression and defray the cost to the U.S. of arming, funding, and training the Ukrainian military since 2022, as well as paying Ukrainian government workers’ salaries and subsidizing Ukrainian agriculture and businesses.

Sources present at a meeting between Zelensky and Bessent in Kiev say the Ukrainian leader was “very angry” at the prospect of refunding American taxpayers for their assistance and could be heard shouting at the U.S. Treasury Secretary through the heavy doors of his presidential office.

According to the Financial Times, Zelensky’s own team says he is “thin-skinned and can react poorly to criticism,” with a former senior official saying he has “allowed his emotions to make his decisions” at times.

Subsequently, Zelensky issued a public statement saying he would not “sell” Ukraine, apparently in reference to the proposed minerals deal. However, Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who held talks with Zelensky after Bessent in Munich, Germany, say the Ukrainian was amenable to a minerals deal during their discussions, only to turn on the U.S. in comments to the press afterward.

Vice President Vance has warned that undermining President Donald J. Trump and his administration in the court of public opinion, as Zelensky appears to be attempting, will prove counterproductive with the America First leader.

“Zelensky is getting really bad advice, and I don’t know from whom,” the Vice President told Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, in an exclusive interview. “He’s not dealing with Joe Biden and the Biden administration anymore. He’s dealing with Donald Trump and the Trump administration.” Vance added, branding Zelensky’s attacks on Trump “disgraceful.”

Rubio, Vance Confirm Trump ‘Very Upset’ with Zelensky for Lying About Mineral Talks.

Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have confirmed President Donald J. Trump is “very upset” with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky for lying about U.S.-Ukrainian discussions over mineral rights. Zelensky has claimed he refused to countenance reserving mineral and energy exploration rights in Ukraine to the U.S. rather than its competitors to help repay American taxpayers for arming, funding, and training his military, as well as subsidizing Ukrainian government workers and businesses—but Vance and Rubio say his characterization of these discussions is untrue.

“President Trump is very upset at President Zelensky… and rightfully so,” Rubio told journalist Catherine Herridge, recalling how Biden, too, once reportedly “cursed at [Zelensky] in a phone call” for publicly denigrating U.S. efforts to assist him rather than expressing gratitude for the help his government was receiving.

“Frankly, I was personally very upset, because we had a conversation with President Zelensky, the Vice President and I, the three of us, and we discussed this issue about the mineral rights,” Rubio continued. “And we explained to them, look, we want to be in a joint venture with you, not because we’re trying to steal from your country, but because we think that’s actually a security guarantee if we’re your partner in an important economic endeavor. We get to get paid back some of the money the taxpayers have given, close to $200 billion, and also, now we have a vested interest in the security of Ukraine.

“And [Zelensky] said, ‘Sure, we want to do this deal, it makes all the sense in the world, the only thing is, I need to run it through my legislative process, they have to approve it.’ I read two days later that Zelensky’s out there saying, ‘I rejected the deal, I told them no way, that we’re not doing that’—well, that’s not what happened in that meeting,” Rubio stressed.

He went on to say Zelensky’s public claims that President Trump is “living in a world of disinformation” are “very counterproductive… President Trump’s not the kind of person that’s going to sit there and take that… he’s not gonna get gamed here.”

VANCE.

Vice President Vance, who shared a clip of Rubio’s exchange with Herridge on social media, commenting, “What Secretary Rubio is saying here is exactly right,” made similar remarks to Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, in an exclusive interview earlier this week.

“Zelensky is getting really bad advice, and I don’t know from whom,” Vance said. “He’s not dealing with Joe Biden and the Biden administration anymore. He’s dealing with Donald Trump and the Trump administration.”

“The idea that he’s going to litigate his disagreements with the President in the public square—I mean, you [Kassam] know the President very well, obviously, I know the President very well. This is not a good way to deal with President Trump… he’s attacking the only reason this country exists, publicly, right now. And it’s disgraceful. And it’s not something that is going to move the President of the United States. In fact, it’s going to have the opposite effect,” he warned.

Vance Slams Anti-Peace Agitators for Peddling ‘Moralistic Garbage’ on Ukraine.

Vice President J.D. Vance has taken aim at the anti-peace commentators attacking the Trump administration for attempting to end the war in Ukraine, accusing them of peddling “moralistic garbage.” He singled out Scottish historian Sir Niall Ferguson—a naturalized U.S. citizen—for a hectoring post comparing Trump’s pro-peace stance to the late President George H.W. Bush’s reaction to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait 35 years ago.

“This is moralistic garbage, which is unfortunately the rhetorical currency of the globalists because they have nothing else to say,” Vance wrote in his own social media post.

“For three years, President Trump and I have made two simple arguments: first, the war wouldn’t have started if President Trump was in office; second, that neither Europe, nor the Biden administration, nor the Ukrainians had any pathway to victory. This was true three years ago, it was true two years ago, it was true last year, and it is true today,” the Vice President continued.

“[F]or three years, the concerns of people who were obviously right were ignored. What is Niall’s actual plan for Ukraine? Another aid package? Is he aware of the reality on the ground, of the numerical advantage of the Russians, of the depleted stock of the Europeans or their even more depleted industrial base?” he asked. “Instead, he quotes from a book about George H.W. Bush from a different historical period and a different conflict. That’s another currency of these people: reliance on irrelevant history.”

Speaking to Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, on Wednesday, Vance cautioned Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky against attempting to try President Trump’s foreign policy in the court of public opinion. “Zelensky is getting really bad advice, and I don’t know from whom,” Vance said, warning: “He’s not dealing with Joe Biden and the Biden administration anymore.”

Zelensky Bites the Hand that Feeds, Indicates He Will Refuse to Pay Back U.S. with Minerals.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expressing anger over an apparent thaw in U.S.-Russian relations while indicating he will refuse to award the U.S. rights to Ukrainian minerals as compensation for the aid and military assistance he has received. The idea that Ukraine should be “giving back in minerals” to pay its debt to American taxpayers “is not a serious conversation,” Zelensky insists.

Zelensky, despite his heavy reliance on U.S. aid, says he is only willing to work on a “serious document” that includes “security guarantees” for Ukraine, presumably including a U.S. commitment to go to war with Russia to defend it.

The current draft agreement proposing a Reconstruction Investment Fund for Ukraine, put forward by the United States, stipulates that opportunities to develop Ukraine’s “mineral resources, oil and gas resources, ports, [and] other infrastructure (as agreed)” should be open to the U.S. rather than its competitors—as the U.S. has gifted Ukraine far more assistance than any other country.

“Look, we all want a victory, and we want Trump to win, and we want Ukraine to win, all of us to succeed… But I am protecting Ukraine. I can’t sell it away. I can’t sell our state,” Zelensky said, apparently believing that the U.S. should continue funding and supplying the Ukrainian military, paying the salaries of Ukrainian government workers, and subsidizing Ukrainian agriculture and businesses in exchange for nothing at all.

“OK, let’s do a deal. Let’s share [it], depending on the investment… but we need security guarantees,” he reiterated, also complaining about the U.S. wanting the Reconstruction Investment Fund agreement to be arbitrated according to New York law rather than “the laws of Ukraine.”

Trump has raised serious questions about the legitimacy of Zelensky’s leadership, considering his presidential term should have expired last May. The Ukrainian leader remains in post due to martial law and has previously banned at least 12 rival political parties, including the main opposition, alleging they were Russia sympathizers.

BREAKING: Trump Blasts Zelensky as ‘Dictator’ Who ‘Better Move Fast.’

President Donald J. Trump has branded Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, who recently indicated he will refuse to repay the U.S. for its war support with access to Ukrainian minerals and other resources, as a “dictator” for refusing to hold fresh elections. “Think of it, a modestly successful comedian, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, talked the United States of America into spending $350 Billion Dollars, to go into a War that couldn’t be won, that never had to start, but a War that he, without the U.S. and ‘TRUMP,’ will never be able to settle,” the America First leader wrote on his Truth Social platform.

“The United States has spent $200 Billion Dollars more than Europe, and Europe’s money is guaranteed, while the United States will get nothing back. Why didn’t Sleepy Joe Biden demand Equalization, in that this War is far more important to Europe than it is to us—We have a big, beautiful Ocean as separation,” he continued, warning: “On top of this, Zelenskyy admits that half of the money we sent him is ‘MISSING.’ He refuses to have Elections, is very low in Ukrainian Polls, and the only thing he was good at was playing Biden ‘like a fiddle.’ A Dictator without Elections, Zelenskyy better move fast or he is not going to have a Country left.”

Zelensky’s term expired in May 2024, but he remains in office under martial law and has banned what was his party’s main opposition, alongside over ten other parties he accuses of having Russian sympathies.

President Trump said that, while Zelensky is deciding on his next moves, the U.S. will continue “successfully negotiating an end to the War with Russia, something all admit only ‘TRUMP,’ and the Trump Administration, can do.”

Biden never tried, Europe has failed to bring Peace, and Zelenskyy probably wants to keep the ‘gravy train’ going,” he continued. “I love Ukraine, but Zelenskyy has done a terrible job, his Country is shattered, and MILLIONS have unnecessarily died – And so it continues…..”

His intervention comes as Zelensky has signaled he will not consent to a Reconstruction Investment Fund with the U.S. reserving the rights to develop Ukraine’s mineral and energy resources to the U.S. rather than its competitors. This would be a way of repaying American taxpayers for underwriting the Ukrainian military and government from 2022 onwards.

Trump Suggests Ukraine Elections Could Pave Way for Peace.

U.S. President Donald J. Trump has suggested that Ukraine should conduct fresh elections to secure a place in the ongoing peace negotiations with Russia. Speaking from his Mar-a-Lago estate on Tuesday, Trump explained, “We have a situation where we haven’t had elections in Ukraine, where we have martial law… where the leader—I hate to say it—he’s down to four percent approval rating.”

“It’s a country that’s been blown to smithereens. Most of the cities are laying on their side,” the America First leader continued, adding: “I would say that if they want a seat at the table, wouldn’t the people of Ukraine have to say, ‘It’s been a long time since we’ve had an election’?”

“That’s not a Russia thing. That’s something coming from me and coming from many other countries also,” he stressed.

Ukrainian state media contested Trump’s remarks, insisting Zelensky is significantly more popular than Trump suggested. Zelensky, too, argued that Russian sources are misinforming the White House. “President Trump, whom we respect as a leader, is unfortunately living in a disinformation space,” he alleged.

Ukraine last held elections in 2019, and future elections are currently postponed until the war concludes. In the normal course of events, Zelensky’s term would have concluded in May 2024.

Even if fresh elections were held, the results might be questionable, with much of Ukraine now under Russian control and Zelensky having banned at least 12 rival parties, including his main opposition, after accusing them of having Russian sympathies.
