Ex Navy Seal Erik Prince Predicts China Will ‘Take Taiwan’ in Spring 2024.

Former U.S. Navy Seal Erik Prince predicts China may “take Taiwan in spring 2024”. His statement follows Chinese President Xi Jinping declaring his intention to unify Taiwan with mainland China. Prince anticipates a potential move in May or June 2024, due to favorable weather conditions during these months.

“The weather window if they are going to do something by force in Taiwan opens around May or June because during most of the months of the year, it’s too windy,” Prince explained.

“If they are going to take Taiwan by force I would predict that they are going to do something this spring.”

Prince also offered his perspective on the state of NATO, which has depleted much of its resources equipping Ukraine since 2022. He said former president Donald Trump had been “absolutely right” to criticize its European members for neglecting defense and relying on America to do all the heavy lifting.

“President Trump was right to complain about NATO not paying their share. I think it’s only five or six of the 28 countries that are members that still pay 2 per cent of their GDP in defense,” he said.

“A huge amount of defense stocks have been transferred from those NATO countries to Ukraine and have been consumed in the battlefield. They haven’t been replaced yet and so Europe has a bit of a wake-up call. They need to crank up that industrial base,” he warned.

Fetterman Says He’ll Support Israel Even If He’s ‘The Last Man Standing’.

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) continues to affirm his support for Israel in spite of divisions within his party regarding the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict. As reported in a POLITICO interview, Fetterman committed himself further to backing Israel’s objective to eradicate Hamas, a retaliatory response to the October 7 terrorist attack that allegedly killed more than 1,200 people. Fetterman’s stance wildly contrasts with the views of many Democratic lawmakers who have advocated for a ceasefire.

“I would be the last man standing to be absolutely there on the Israeli side on this with no conditions.”

– Sen. John Fetterman, December 2023.

Sen. Fetterman – an outspoken opponent of fellow Senate Democrat Bob Menendez (D-NJ) who faces federal prosecution for acting as an unregistered foreign agent for Egypt – drew the media spotlight last month when he publicly demonstrated his support for Israel by draping himself in an Israeli flag and walking past pro-Palestinian protesters gathered outside the Capitol. While Fetterman expressed distress about Palestinian civilian deaths, he emphasized Hamas’ tactic of using human shields in battle. “Only one side has broken the cease-fires. Only one side will systematically rape, torture and mutilate Israeli women and girls… Without destroying Hamas, there will be no enduring peace and a stable, two-state solution,” said Fetterman.

The Senator refrained from criticizing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating that the leader’s political future should be determined by Israel’s citizens. Fetterman also acknowledged receiving unexpected praises from conservatives for his consistent backing of Israel’s mission. However, he dismissed focus on his social media activity, asserting, “I don’t spend any time on Twitter and that’s the truth. I encourage you – you can check my personal phone, I couldn’t even get on Twitter if I had to.”

Russo-Chinese Trade Booms Due to Ukraine War, at The Expense of the West.

Trade between the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China is booming amid the Western sanctions war on Moscow, with cheap Russian energy making Chinese factories more profitable and Chinese vehicles rapidly replacing Western ones in the Russian market.

Commerce between the two countries has already cleared $200 billion for 2023. Reports indicate Russian chocolates, sausages, and other goods have become “plentiful” in Chinese stores, with Russia-linked locations becoming popular sites for Chinese social media influencers.

More significantly, the volume of Russian natural gas transferred to China through its Power of Siberia pipeline has increased, with negotiations to construct a second pipeline from gas fields that once supplied the European Union well underway.

As Chinese manufacturers reap the benefits of this cheap energy while their Western and especially European rivals struggle with high costs, exacerbated by self-inflicted green policies, they are also benefiting from Western manufacturers having cut themselves off from the Russian market. Chinese automakers, whose market share in Russia was just eight percent in 2021, now hold a dominating 55 percent share.

Western expectations of economic collapse in Russia have proved ill-founded, with the country continuing to source artillery shells, missiles, and other key equipment for its war more easily than Ukraine.

Hamas Sympathizers Defile D.C.’s Lincoln Memorial With ‘Free Gaza’ Paint.

The National Park Service (NPS) spent their Wednesday cleaning the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, which were found defaced with red paint reading “Free Gaza”. The United States Park Police discovered the act of vandalism surrounding the monument and the Reflecting Pool, according to a report from a D.C. Fox affiliate. NPS conservators, tasked with preserving the national monument, were brought in to deal with the graffiti, as officials indicated that several treatments might be required across multiple days to completely erase the rogue messages.

This act drew immediate attention due to the ongoing tension surrounding the conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. Notably, the incident occurred following acts of violence on October 7, wherein Hamas insurgents invaded Israel, resulting in approximately 1,200 deaths and 240 kidnappings. An Israeli military response ensued, leading to the Gaza Health Ministry reporting nearly 20,000 fatalities, a figure that doesn’t differentiate between military personnel and civilians.

Law enforcement agencies are actively investigating the incident at the Lincoln Memorial. The U.S. Park Police are calling for the public’s assistance, encouraging anyone with information to reach out via a dedicated tip line at (202)379-4877 or through the email USPP_tipline@nps.gov. The defacement coincides with a wave of protests and scaled-up acts of vandalism across the United States in support of Palestine amidst the escalating conflict.

Xi Tells Biden: Taiwan ‘Will Be Unified’ With China Through Diplomacy or FORCE.

Chinese Communist leader Xi Jinping ominously warned President Joe Biden that mainland China would be unified with Taiwan during their recent summit in San Francisco. The purpose of the summit was, ostensibly, to lower tensions between the United States and China. Instead Xi used it was an opportunity to push China’s agenda South-East Asia in the face of a weak U.S. president.

TENSION IN SAN FRAN.

According to reports, Xi bluntly told Biden it was his preference to take Taiwan peacefully, but the Chinese military would be used if necessary. The Communist leader told Biden the predictions of U.S. military and intelligence officials stating China would move against Taiwan between 2025 and 2027 were incorrect, and his government had no timeframe yet for unification through diplomacy or through force.

Prior to the San Francisco summit, Chinese officials had demanded President Joe Biden acknowledge and back the peaceful unification of Taiwan with the mainland communist state. The Biden government rejected the Chinese demands.

TAIWAN’S ELECTIONS.

The Chinese Communist insistence on unification with Taiwan comes at an extremely dangerous time. On Saturday, January 13, 2024, Taiwan will hold a general election to choose its next president. The current Taiwanese president and leader of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), Tsai Ing-wen, is term-limited. Lai Ching-te, Tsai’s vice-president, has been tapped as Tsai’s DPP successor for the island nation’s top office.

Lai’s competitor for the presidency is the Kuomintang’s (KMT) Hou Yu-ih – a former police officer and mayor of  New Taipei. Ko Wen-je, the former mayor of Taipei, is the Taiwan People’s Party (TPP) nominee and rounds out the three-way race.

Outside observers believe a victory for the DPP could result in an escalation of tensions as they are the least favorable party to the communists in Beijing. The KMT, on the other-hand, has backed more pro-mainland positions and is the most likely party to ease tensions with the communists.

WATCH: Anti-Israel Protestors Clash with NYPD While Mobbing Grand Central, Penn Station, and Moynihan Train Hall.

Anti-Israel protestors targeting New York City transport hubs clashed with police on several occasions on Monday evening. The so-called “global strike for Gaza and all of Palestine” targeted Grand Central Station, the Port Authority Bus Terminal, Penn Station, and the Moynihan Train Hall.

Demonstrators infiltrated the concourse in Moynihan and caused disruption for would-be travelers, in part by staging Islamic prayers. Bus services were disrupted as they marched down 42nd Street between 6th Avenue and 8th Avenue.

Elsewhere, controversial actor Alec Baldwin was caught up in the protest, with police having to separate him from the mob after he refused to condemn Israel and told protestors to stop asking him “stupid questions”.

Scuffles between protestors and police broke out at several locations, with reports of an unspecified number of arrests. Demonstrators can be seen shouting “f*** you!” and “f*** the police!” in footage of the altercations, and jostling and heckling officers in an effort to make them release demonstrators who were being arrested.

WATCH: Ukraine Councilman Detonates Grenades During Meeting.

A local politician tossed hand grenades into a village council meeting in the Transcarpathia region of Ukraine on Friday. The resulting explosions killed one person and wounded dozens.

“Today at 11:37, the police received a report that a deputy set off grenades in the building of the Keretsky Village Council of the Mukachevo district during the session. According to preliminary reports, the explosion killed one person and wounded the [deputy] and 11 more people,” confirmed the Ukrainian National Police.

They subsequently updated the number of wounded to 26, including six people in “grave condition”.

The motivation for the attack was unknown as of the time of publication. Transcarpathia borders Hungary, and is home to a large Hungarian minority, stranded outside their homeland following multiple border changes in the 20th century.

The Hungarian government has often accused the Ukrainian government of discriminating against the Hungarian minority, while the Ukrainians have accused Hungary of wanting to annex the region.

‘Vice’ Editor Backed Hamas Massacres as ‘Within International Law’.

Vice News’s former MENA (Middle East and North Africa) Managing Editor endorsed October’s Hamas attacks in an Arabic-language article. Badar Salem claimed the October 7th terror raid against Israel was lawful resistance on Vice’s Arabic website.

“UN General Assembly Resolution 2649, adopted in 1970, recognizes the legitimacy of the struggle against domination and occupation in the context of self-determination,” Salem insisted. “Within this framework, what Hamas and Palestinian resistance movements did/are doing against Israeli targets is within international law, which clearly recognizes the legitimacy of resistance movements defending themselves against the occupation.”

Hamas’s “Israeli targets” included children, women, and the elderly. Some of these were killed while others were dragged back to Gaza as hostages.

Salem argued Israel, not Hamas, was responsible for these killings, however. “When an occupying force faces resistance from the occupied inhabitants, this is not considered the occupied inhabitants’ attack, but a reaction against the occupation itself,” she argued.

Ukraine May Conscript Men Over 40 Next, Zelensky Tells US Senators.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky informed members of the United States Senate his country may soon be forced to enact military conscription for men over the age of 40. Facing dwindling manpower and munitions, the Ukrainian president traveled to Washington, D.C. this week to lobby the U.S. government for additional military and fiscal aid – even as more-and-more Americans say the aid should come to an end.

Last week, negotiations collapsed in the U.S. Senate over a defense supplemental funding bill containing monies for Ukraine, Israel, and in-some-form U.S. border security. Opposition to continuing funding for Ukraine has been growing among Senate Republicans, with Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), on Sunday, saying Ukraine should be willing to cede “some territory” to bring the bloody conflict to an end. Republicans in the House of Representatives, meanwhile, are standing firm on their position demanding their H.R.2 border security bill be included in any funding bill in order for the legislation to even be considered.

A failed summer counter-offensive against Russian positions in Ukraine has only deepened the country’s military manpower crisis. Since June, legislation has sat on Zelensky’s desk which would lower the war-time draft age for men with no military experience from 27 to 25. Despite passing Ukrainian parliament and receiving widespread backing from Ukrainian military leaders, Zelensky has been reticent to sign legislation in what some see as a tacit acknowledgement his country has lost the war.

While Zelensky is focusing efforts to shore up Ukraine’s dwindling support abroad, the Ukrainian president is facing increasing scrutiny and criticism at home. The National Pulse previously reported Vitali Klitschko, the former boxing heavyweight champion turned Mayor of Kiev, recently accused Zelensky of “authoritarian tendencies” while warning: “At some point we will no longer be any different from Russia.”

Legendary Senator’s Daughter Says College Should Remove His Name If They Refuse to Curtail Hamas Sympathizers.

The daughter of the New York Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan – a Democrat titan in American politics – says if City College of New York (CCNY) won’t work to curb pro-Hamas and anti-Semitic demonstrations, they should remove her father’s name from the school’s Moynihan Center.

Maura Moynihan, writing in the NY Post, argues the CCNY administration’s toleration of “…dangerous anti-American and antisemitic ideologies is capitulation to and collusion with those ideologies, which Amb. Moynihan and his wife Liz would find abhorrent and shameful.”

“I sent several emails to the directors of CCNY’s new Moynihan Center at the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership requesting a public statement condemning this dangerous hate speech,” Moynihan wrote regarding the pro-Hamas and anti-semitic demonstrations on campus, adding: “Not a single CCNY official replied.”

During his time, Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan was an outspoken opponent of anti-Semitism. In 1975, while serving as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Moynihan vociferously opposed the organization’s adoption of the Resolution 3379 which declared Zionism a form of racism. “[The United States] does not acknowledge, it will not abide by, it will never acquiesce in this infamous act,” Moynihan said at the U.N. General Assembly.

Prior to his election to the United States Senate, Moynihan served in the Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon administrations – early on demonstrating his cross-partisan appeal. In the Senate, Daniel Patrick Moynihan was a fierce advocate for New Yorkers – often using earmarks to ensure federal dollars flowed back to the state. When Sen. Kit Bond (R-MO) took exception with an earmark Moynihan had inserted in the Federal Highway Bill, it was reported Moynihan slugged Bond on the Senate floor.
