Republicans Move to End Tax-Exempt Status for CAIR, Other Groups With Islamist Terror Connections.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Representative Chip Roy (R-TX) introduced legislation to strip tax-exempt status from groups with ties to terrorism.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Rep. Chip Roy, organizations like the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

📍WHEN & WHERE: Legislation introduced Tuesday; focusing on U.S.-based organizations with ties to terrorism.

💬KEY QUOTE: “It is absurd that the U.S. has provided organizations with ties to terrorism tax-exempt status in the U.S.—resulting in the American people inadvertently subsidizing terror against themselves.” – Chip Roy

🎯IMPACT: The bill aims to cut off financial advantages for groups exploiting tax exemptions while maintaining ties to terrorism.

IN FULL

Representative Chip Roy (R-TX) has introduced legislation that would prevent American taxpayers from “inadvertently subsidizing” groups with ties to terrorism. Filed on Tuesday, the No Tax Exemptions for Terror Act would prevent organizations linked to extremist groups, such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), from attaining tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

“It is absurd that the U.S. has provided organizations with ties to terrorism tax-exempt status in the U.S.—resulting in the American people inadvertently subsidizing terror against themselves,” Roy told the media, adding: “It is ridiculous, and we should have ended this long ago.”

The bill specifically targets groups that exploit charitable tax exemptions while maintaining connections to terrorism. For example, CAIR, which defines itself as a charity, was identified by the FBI as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2007 Holy Land Foundation investigation. Evidence from that case demonstrated CAIR’s founders participated in a meeting with Hamas supporters in 1993.

“No organization with ties to terrorism should receive a tax benefit,” Roy said. “For example, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) should immediately be stripped of their 501(c)(3) status.” He further noted, “CAIR has ties with Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, and other extremist organizations that routinely use violence and commit horrific acts to advance their political agenda.”

Roy also pointed out that CAIR’s national executive director praised Hamas’ October 7 attacks against Israel, calling it another example of why such organizations should lose their tax-exempt status. “This must end,” he stated.

The National Pulse reported on Monday that CAIR is one of the dark money funders of Zohran Mamdani, the Democrats’ socialist candidate for New York City mayor. Campaign finance records show the group—with alleged ties to Islamic extremists—both directly and indirectly funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars to Mamdani’s mayoral campaign over the last year.

In addition, Muslim activist Linda Sarsour claims CAIR has been instrumental in pushing the broader American Mulsim community to contribute to Mamdani, making its impact far larger than data suggests.

Hakeem Jeffries Finally Backs Zohran Mamdani in NYC Mayoral Race.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries belatedly endorsed far-left Zohran Mamdani for New York City mayor after months of delay, just one day before early voting begins.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Hakeem Jeffries, Zohran Mamdani, and Democrat leaders.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The endorsement was announced on Friday, ahead of the November 4 elections in New York City.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Zohran Mamdani has relentlessly focused on addressing the affordability crisis and explicitly committed to being a mayor for all New Yorkers, including those who do not support his candidacy.” – Hakeem Jeffries

🎯IMPACT: Jeffries’s endorsement may add some further momentum to Mamdani’s campaign, though its lateness highlights divisions within the Democratic Party over Mamdani’s far-left politics.

IN FULL

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) announced his endorsement of Zohran Mamdani, the Democrats’ far-left candidate for New York City mayor, on Friday, ending a prolonged delay until the day before early voting begins. The endorsement follows months of pressure from progressives and repeated questions from reporters about Jeffries’s reluctance to support Mamdani, an avowed Democratic Socialist with a history of extreme policy positions, including abolishing prisons and imposing higher taxes on “whiter” neighborhoods.

“Zohran Mamdani has relentlessly focused on addressing the affordability crisis and explicitly committed to being a mayor for all New Yorkers, including those who do not support his candidacy,” Jeffries said in a statement. “In that spirit, I support him and the entire citywide Democratic ticket in the general election.”

Mamdani secured a convincing primary victory in June, defeating former Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) in what was seen as a major upset. Current polls show the Ugandan immigrant maintains a nearly 20-point lead over Cumo, who is now running as an Independent. Republican candidate Curtis Silwa polls in a distant third place.

Jefferies has largely avoided discussing Mamdani’s candidacy until now, only offering brief concerns about his past rhetoric on Israel and anti-Semitism and his ability to address gentrification in black communities. The endorsement process reportedly included two in-person meetings in Brooklyn, with race activist Al Sharpton mediating between the two camps.

Zohran Mamdani’s Religious Sect Wants 1200-Year-Old Final ‘Prophet’ to Spread Islam Globally.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Zohran Mamdani won the Democratic primary in New York City, prompting warnings about the rise of Islamist-progressive politics in America’s largest city.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Zohran Mamdani, Raheem Kassam, Stephen K. Bannon, progressive voters, Twelver Muslims, New York City electorate.

📍WHEN & WHERE: June 25, 2025; New York City, NY

💬KEY QUOTE: “New York City did not take one small step towards [Sharia] yesterday, it took one giant leap towards it.” – Raheem J. Kassam

🎯IMPACT: The victory reveals deep fractures over identity politics, Islamism, and leftist economics, and raises questions about the future of New York’s political landscape.

IN FULL

Reacting to the outcome of the New York City Democratic primary, Raheem Kassam warned WarRoom viewers that the election of Zohran Mamdani represents a radical shift in the city’s politics. “New York City did not take one small step towards it yesterday, it took one giant leap towards it yesterday,” he said, referencing the rise of Islamist-aligned, hard-left political figures and the subtitle of his book No Go Zones: How Sharia Law is Coming to A Neighborhood Near You, which predicted much of what is happening with Islam in America today.

Mamdani, a self-identified follower of Twelver Shia Islam, is a member of a sect that “believe that to this day there is a 1,200-year-old living prophet on Earth who is in hiding and is going to come out at some point soon, and proselytize Islam the world over.”

Kassam highlighted the candidate’s religious affiliations and accused the media of completely ignoring their relevance: “I’ve yet to hear any reporters on the campaign trail in New York put these questions to him and say, ‘Hey… do you really believe in this stuff?’”

He warned of severe consequences for the city, mocking Mamdani’s economic plans: “He’s talking about rent control, grocery stores owned by the government. All these, all of these Caracas-style policies that have failed the world over time and time again.” Kassam quoted a social media post saying, “The funny thing is, he will bring prices down. Once everyone leaves, there will be no demand and prices will come down.”

Kassam ended by blasting the contradictions of Mamdani’s identity politics campaign: “He’s put together this unholy alliance, right? I mean, he’s going out there on the one hand saying he’s a twelver Muslim. On the other hand, he’s saying he’s for LGBT rights.” According to Kassam, that contradiction is “haram” under Twelver doctrine, and should be a central attack point: “To me personally, if I were running a campaign against him, I would drive this wedge through his campaign over and over and over again.”

Biden Faces Backlash Over Clemency for ‘Kids for Cash’ Judge & Corrupt Ohio Official.

President Joe Biden is facing mounting backlash over his decision to grant clemency to a state judge responsible for the “kids for cash” scandal and an Ohio county’s corrupt commissioner. As part of a broader pardon and clemency announcement impacting approximately 1,500 individuals—the largest in U.S. history—Biden commuted the prison sentences for former Luzerne County, Pennsylvania judge Michael T. Conahan and Cuyahoga County, Ohio commissioner Jimmy Dimora.

Conahan was involved in a notorious “kids for cash” scandal where he received kickbacks for sentencing juveniles to for-profit detention centers. In 2010, he pleaded guilty to federal racketeering charges and was sentenced to 17.5 years in prison. His sentence was shortened during the COVID-19 pandemic when he was granted compassionate release to home confinement in 2020. His time spent in home confinement appears to have made him eligible for the commutation.

Meanwhile, Dimora was previously convicted of accepting bribes over several years. According to information from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio, Dimora received over $166,000 in bribes, which included monetary payments, home renovations, extravagant dining experiences, services from sex workers, and gambling excursions in Las Vegas and Canada. His actions, in return, involved directing contracts to certain individuals, helping acquaintances secure jobs and salary increases, and lobbying for beneficial loans and grants.

Initially sentenced in 2012 to 28 years of imprisonment, Dimora has consistently denied involvement in criminal activities. He had sought clemency from President Barack Obama during his term but was not granted it.

Biden defended his decision, stating that individuals released to home confinement during the pandemic have successfully reintegrated into their communities. Critics, including The Washington Post’s Heather Long, condemned Conahan’s commutation, highlighting the judge’s negative impact on the public trust and many children’s lives.

WATCH: Kassam on the Campaign, Populism, and People Power.

Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, has given a lengthy interview providing his thoughts on the state of the U.S. election campaign, the populist movement, and his journey into it. Speaking to Hearts of Oak podcast host Peter Mcilvenna, Kassam charted his journey from a youthful supporter of the Bill Clinton-like Tony Blair to a seasoned populist and his experiences with “locomotives of populism” like Donald Trump, Stephen K. Bannon, and Nigel Farage.

On the elections, Kassam said he senses that “we are on a winning course right now… despite [Trump’s] campaign leadership, not because of his campaign leadership.” He explained the turnaround is due in part to the fact that MAGA stalwarts such as Corey Lewandowski have been brought on board and given a greater role relative to the likes of Chris LaCivita, who was steering the campaign onto the rocks after the Democrats ousted Joe Biden in favor of Kamala Harris.

Harris herself is also given credit for the change in fortunes, with the public finding her more unlikeable the more they see of her: “She’s become almost as unpopular as Hillary Clinton—and I say ‘almost’ because America got to know Hillary Clinton really well for decades and decades. If they got to know Kamala as well as Hillary, she would be half as popular, if that,” he said. “She is just a fundamentally unlikeable person.”

PEOPLE POWER.

Speaking to imprisoned War Room host Stephen K. Bannon, a longtime friend and collaborator, Kassam argued that the great strength of the former White House chief strategist’s following is that it is “people-led.”

“He’s just the guy who’s conducting the orchestra; the musicians are the ordinary Americans out there… who are doing the heavy lifting in the communities every day, who are building these families and teaching their kids the right values,” he explained.

The fact Bannon has not been released already under the First Step Act, Kassam continued, is proof that the Democrats and their allies have gone beyond “weaponization” of the legal system, as they are “now breaking the law… to keep this man detained unlawfully.”

“It’s so far beyond a disgrace that I pray to God that, when Trump gets back in the White House, that there isn’t this 2016 mentality of, ‘We can reform some of these things; if we just send some nice Bush-era conservatives into these departments…’ This is like the Civil Service in the UK; they’re not interested in being reformed. You have to just get rid of them; you have to fire them,” he stressed.

However, Kassam’s number one piece of advice to the conservative movement is to take on Citizens United and “get big money out of politics.”

“The real threat to democracy is not Donald Trump or anything like that, it’s Corporate America,” he said.

WATCH: Kassam Explains The Democrat Insurrection, Border Crisis, the ‘Arrogance of Modernity’, and Predicts Mass Protests.

During a marathon appearance on War Room with Stephen K. Bannon this week, The National Pulse’s editor-in-chief Raheem Kassam hit on three topics which are likely to dominate national media through the New Year.

According to Kassam: the Democrats are dusting off their 2020 playbook in order to kick Donald Trump off the 2024 ballot; our national elites are propelled by arrogance – believing they’re smarter than those who came before them; and the unchecked border crisis will result in mass street protests against the Biden regime.

The Real 2020 Insurrection.

In late summer 2020, Kassam and Bill McGinley put together analysis of a strategy put forward by Democrat election-lawyer Marc Elias as well as Soros advisor Rosa Brooks. Their plans established a predicate for stealing the 2020 presidential election. The groups anticipated that Donald Trump would appear the overwhelming victor during initial election returns, but explained that the weeks-long counting of mail-in ballots would eventually put Joe Biden over the top.

As Kassam notes, various leftist groups like Act Blue provided material support for the actual insurrection – Antifa’s siege of the White House complex in late May and early June, as well as the routine Black Lives Matter violence in the run up to the 2020 election.

The Arrogance of Modernity.

Reflecting on the humility and wisdom of those who attended the town hall at the Cowboy Church in Casa Grande, Arizona on Wednesday night, Kassam noted our national political elites couldn’t appear more different. Instead of humility and a reverence for those who came before them, Kassam argues Democrats and the left believe they must prove they’re smarter than past generations.

“The people who were in the Cowboy Church in Casa Grande last night do not fancy themselves as smarter than this nation’s founders… the people who occupy the halls of power… start from a position that because several centuries have passed, therefore they must be smarter than the people who founded this nation,” Kassam said.

The Forthcoming Street Protests.

Finally, in an ominous prediction, Kassam told Bannon the continued unchecked flow of illegal immigrants into the United States under President Joe Biden’s watch will likely result in civil unrest. Referring to Americans, like those who attended the Cowboy Church town hall, Kassam said: “You feel in these peoples’ demeanor… they’re angry. And you feel that something will absolutely give way here, because these people I just don’t think are going to sit around and take it anymore.”

He noted the mass demonstrations which broke out in Germany against mass immigration when then-Chancellor Angela Merkel allowed 1.7 million migrants into her country. Kassam said the per-capita number of illegal immigrants in the U.S. had already surpassed the name which led to tens-of-thousands protesting in Germany.

U.S. Aid is Subsidizing Ukraine Corporates, Paying State Salaries, and Buying Fertilizer for Farmers.

Joe Biden’s government is pumping billions of dollars not only into the Ukrainian war machine, but into the Ukrainian economy, using taxpayer cash to pay the salaries of almost 60,000 state employees, subsidize private businesses, and even buy seed and fertilizer for farmers. At the same time, NATO allies including Poland and Hungary complain their own farmers are being overwhelmed by Ukrainian produce being dumped on European markets.

Reporters discovered U.S. taxpayers are paying the salaries of all 57,000 first responders in Ukraine, and not only subsidizing businesses, but even helping them to secure new customers overseas via USAID.

Perhaps the most controversial discovery is the financial support for Ukrainian farmers, considering Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky is currently lodging proceedings against several European Union neighbors who have banned imports of Ukrainian grain – without the EU’s permission.

Poland, one of the countries involved in this fledgling trade war, even halted military supplies to Ukraine amid the dispute. It had previously been one of Zelensky’s most important backers, supplying him with warplanes and over 300 tanks, and pushing other NATO members to offer similar assistance.

While non-military aid to Ukraine has already reached the tens of billions, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assistance to Hawaii following devastating wildfires currently stands at around $3.17 million.

Whistleblower: CIA Bribed ‘Experts’ to Opposite Wuhan Lab COVID Origins.

A whistleblower has told the House of Representatives’ Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic and Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence that America’s Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) effectively bribed researchers who said the Wuhan virus originated in a lab to change their opinion.

The whistleblower, described as a “highly credible senior-level CIA officer” by the House Oversight Committee, alleges that six of seven officers assigned to investigate the origins of COVID-19 initially concluded that it “likely originated from a lab in Wuhan, China” – but they were “offered financial incentives… to change their conclusion in favor of a zoonotic origin.”

The committee chairmen – Reps. Wenstrup (R-OH) and Turner (R-OH) – have written to the CIA requesting that Andrew Makridis, the CIA’s former Chief Operating Officer (COO), submit to a “voluntary transcribed interview,” and asked for all documents and communications between state officials and the COVID Discovery Team.

“According to the whistleblower, at the end of its review, six of the seven members of the Team believed the intelligence and science were sufficient to make a low confidence assessment that COVID-19 originated from a laboratory in Wuhan, China. The seventh member of the Team, who also happened to be the most senior, was the lone officer to believe COVID-19 originated through zoonosis. The whistleblower further contends that to come to the eventual public determination of uncertainty, the other six members were given a significant monetary incentive to change their position,” wrote the chairmen.

They are particularly interested in communications related to the team’s “pay history, to include the awarding of any type of financial or performance-based incentive/financial bonus”.
