EXC: DeSantis PAC Chair Blasts ‘Racist, Bigoted, Insufferable, Brainless’ South.

Matt Wells, a chairman in Ron DeSantis’s Never Back Down PAC, lambasted the U.S. South and Southerners, bemoaning the “climate of racism and bigotry” and the “hate and distrust emanating from the people,” in comments unearthed by The National Pulse. Wells is best known for recently disparaging MAGA conservatives as “degenerates” and telling leftist reporters he wouldn’t “piss on Donald Trump if he was on fire.”

Wells locked his X (formerly Twitter) account shortly after the first National Pulse report, penning a lengthy blog post refusing to apologize for his comments, which led to the discovery of his heinous, 2016 comments about his fellow Americans.

“I can normally talk to anyone that has more than a few brain cells to rub together. That wasn’t the case in South Carolina and Georgia,” he wrote of his time there, adding: “People in the South are incredibly suspicious of those that are different from them while at the same time being insufferably polite to your face while holding you in contempt as soon as you turn your back.”

Wells also bemoaned, much like the pages of the New York Times, “the still alive climate of racism and bigotry that has long dogged the American South” claiming some towns “are still almost entirely voluntarily (or not) segregated.”

“…the racist climate [in the South] is still alive and well.”

– Matt Wells, DeSantis PAC Chairman.’

Claiming to have been shouted at for “supporting someone with a ‘Cuban’ last name.” Wells also claimed in his lengthy diatribe: “Confederate flag flying homes, almost 100%, could be counted on as a home of a Combover devotee. His supporters speak like him. They use the same empty words and phrases (all with a southern drawl). ‘We’re going to build a wall’, ‘We’ll be so great’, ‘America doesn’t win anymore’, ‘He’ll make good deals’, etc.”

Having described Trump supporters as cultists, Wells concluded by declaring the “‘Bible Belt’ is frayed and the buckle is highly tarnished and the people need true spiritual revival. The one saving grace I cling to is Ted Cruz…”

“I don’t really have a desire to visit the south ever again,” he wrote, expressing hope that “the younger generations are turning away from the backwards thinking down South.”

CONFIRMED: Michigan Told FBI of 2020 Election Fraud Attempts.

The office of Michigan’s Attorney General, Dana Nessel, has confirmed there was a state investigation into a large number of voter registrations suspected to be fraudulent, with the case being referred to the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) in 2021.

Danny Wimmer, Nessel’s press secretary, recently admitted a number of some 8,000 to 10,000 voter registration forms delivered to the Muskegon clerk by a “black female” in the run-up to 2020 presidential elections “were found to be suspicious or fraudulent.”

Some of the irregularities included a number voter registrations being written in the same handwriting and addresses on multiple forms being “invalid or non-existent.”

The local Muskegon authorities referred the attempted fraud to Michigan’s Bureau of Elections, which, in turn, referred the case to both the Attorney General as well as the state police. State officials thereafter referred the unresolved investigation to the FBI in March 2021 due to the intelligence agency’s national jurisdiction, though the FBI refused to confirm or deny whether an investigation took place.

Wimmer, however, stated the “attempted fraud” was caught before November 3 and that none of the suspicious or fraudulent materials were “incorporated into the state’s qualified voter file,” and the effort, therefore, had “no effect on any ballot requests or associated processes.”

DeSantis Sinks to 8%, With Just 38% of His Backers ‘Certain’ of Their Choice.

Scott Rasmussen’s RMG Research has found Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sinking to just eight points in their latest poll, with former President Donald J. Trump now up to 60 percent of the vote in the 2024 Republican primary. The national survey of 229 likely Republican primary voters places businessman Vivek Ramaswamy in second, with 13 percent support. The poll has a margin of error of 3.1%.

Even worse for the Florida Governor: a full 83 percent of Trump’s supporters said they were “absolutely certain” of voting for him, while just 38 percent of DeSantis’s supporters felt the same way about their choice.

RMG also indicates Republicans holding a five point Congressional Generic Ballot edge over the Democrats – adding that just last month Republicans only had a two point edge.

Polling aggregator FiveThirtyEight’s Republican Presidential Primary model shows as similar trend with Trump holding above 50 percent and DeSantis on a steady decline.

The news comes three weeks after DeSantis slumped into single digits in Ohio. Last week, National Pulse editor-in-chief predicted DeSantis would be a “single digit midget Ron within a couple of weeks”.

EXC – Trump Hosts Townhall With 130+ GOP Lawmakers: Talks Vaccines, 2024 Plans, & Explains The Lindsey Graham Thing.

Former President Donald Trump held a private town hall with over 130 state Freedom Caucus lawmakers on Monday August 14th, The National Pulse can exclusively reveal. The conversation was facilitated by the new State Freedom Caucus network, which now has 11 equivalents of the House Freedom Caucus across the country, with a plan for all 50 state legislatures.

On the hour-long call heard by the Pulse were some of the most conservative state legislators from South Carolina, Arizona, Illinois, and Idaho, with Trump opening the conversation by calling it “a privilege to address the State Freedom Caucus Network… a very important group of people,” before making an opening statement and going on to take questions from the participants.

The conversation began with a question about Operation Warp Speed and the vaccines, to which the former President lauded governors who allowed the public to make informed decisions for themselves, reminding the audience that he had never supported vaccine mandates. Trump also answered tough questions on his backing of Senator Lindsay Graham, explaining that the South Carolina Senator “does help me with the liberal side of the Republican Party… and even some of the liberal Democrats,” before reminding one South Carolina freedom caucus member: “[Y]ou have a little bit of a liberal bent in South Carolina, and I think its okay if we show a little bit of flexibility.”

Trump’s typical 2016-style pragmatism was on display throughout the conversation seen by The National Pulse, as he discussed ballot harvesting initiatives, future travel plans to states like Idaho, and slammed Joe Biden as a “crooked man, as crooked as a three-dollar bill!”

Some of the President’s more pointed ire was aimed at Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA), who voted to convict him following the post-January 6th impeachment. “Cassidy’s a very bad guy,” he said, to agreement from the participants.

In closing the call, Trump discussed a recent viral video from Los Angeles, wherein a “pack of young kids,” cleared out a department store while looting in broad daylight. He used the issue as an example of how far the country had fallen under Joe Biden and his “Bidenomics” agenda.

Andy Roth, the president of the State Freedom Caucus Network, told The National Pulse: “It was an honor to have President Trump speak to the State Freedom Caucus lawmakers in our Network… Our members share the President’s desire to take on the Deep State and restore our country’s greatness.” Attendees appeared to enjoy the conversation with the former President, with many lauding him for his fighting spirit, answers to tough questions, and future plans.

DeSantis PAC Chair Pledges to Resign GOP Job If Trump Is The Nominee.

Governor Ron DeSantis’s Super PAC boldly announced 99 new Iowa county chairs last week, leading to revelations that Washington county chair Matt Wells had recently called Trump supporters “degenerates” and told leftist media outlets that he would not “piss on Trump if he was on fire.” Now, another of the Florida Governor’s picks has declared himself a hardline ‘NeverTrumper’, in comments unearthed by The National Pulse.

Ryan Frederick, who chairs the Never Back Down PAC in Adair County, Iowa, described himself as a “party loyalist” in comments to the press, but declared on X (formerly Twitter) that he “will resign as a county party chairman and probably not participate in the party apparatus again until people come to their senses,” in response to a Trump primary nomination.

Frederick, who has lauded the British monarchy “the ultimate form of government” for “national prestige and accumulat[ing] wealth and status through stability,” also railed: “If we think for 5 minutes that Trump is somehow superior to DeSantis, we don’t deserve to have a political party. The man is a farce, and always has been.”

In a comment to The National Pulse, Frederick elaborated: “I wouldn’t say my mind is totally made up on that point, but I’ve been a county party chairman for nearly 20 years, and frankly I think we’re foolish if we think Donald Trump is a better candidate than Ron DeSantis. The most important thing this party has to do right now is to nominate someone who can win the election next year, and the obvious choice is Gov. DeSantis. We have the opportunity to make generational change and to move the Republican Party light years into the future, rather than brooding on the past. If we squander that opportunity, I’m not sure I’ve got energy left to continue at the level I’ve been involved heretofore. Simple as that.”

Several of Never Back Down’s county chairmen in Iowa appear to be NeverTrumpers, including Joel Kurtinitis (Dallas County) who penned lengthy articles against Trump in 2016, and Matt Wells, who has lambasted Trump supporters in worse-than-Clintonian terms as “degenerates”.

Ron’s Comms Boss Matt Wolking Invented a Trump Camp Quote, then Freaked Out When Challenged.

Matt Wolking, the Strategic Communications Director for the pro-Ron DeSantis Super PAC ‘Never Back Down’, appeared to invent quotes from within the Trump presidential campaign on Monday, before having a very public meltdown after he was quizzed on the matter.

Wolking – on loan from DeSantis campaign chief Jeff Roe’s embattled Axiom Strategies – refused to provide evidence of his claim that the “Trump camp” is “livid” about his meeting with reporter Laura Loomer on Sunday at Bedminster.

The National Pulse’s editor-in-chief, Raheem Kassam, challenged Wolking’s unsourced quote.

Not only could the Never Back Down ‘Strategic Communications Director’ not provide a source for his quote, but Wolking quickly melted down, attacking this conservative news site – The National Pulse – and its Brexit-backing editor.

Prior to joining Jeff Roe’s Axiom – and subsequently the Never Back Down Super PAC controlled by Roe and staffed by Axiom employees – Wolking worked as the deputy communications director on former President Donald Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign, where he routinely asked for support from The National Pulse and its staff.

Axiom Strategies and the DeSantis Super PAC have been plagued with controversy since the start of the presidential campaign. Intent on alienating masses of conservative voters, the firm is also facing a massive lawsuit in Nevada over accusations of fraudulent campaign work, including falsified and obscene petition signatures.

Roe himself – a long-time Republican establishment consultant – recently offered to pay corporate media start-up ‘Puck’ up to $11 million to stop writing about him.

Georgia Prosecutors Seek Trump Indictment This Week.

Prosecutors in Atlanta, Georgia, are expected to ask a grand jury to indict Donald Trump and others over alleged “election interference” in the state early this week, following an “investigation” led by Democrat partisan District Attorney Fani Willis.

Willis, who has been repeatedly denounced as an anti-white “racist”, alleges “a multi-state, coordinated plan by the Trump campaign to influence the results of the November 2020 election in Georgia and elsewhere.”

Willis’s investigation is perhaps even more controversial than those of George Soros-linked Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg and Michelle Obama-linked federal prosecutor Jack Smith, with the Democrat being rebuked by the courts in July for fundraising for someone running against a conservative politician her investigation targeted. A judge described this as “a ‘what are you thinking?’ moment”.

She received further criticism by launching a new fundraising page for herself as the indictment decision looms.

“I hear that RACIST Fulton County (Atlanta) District Attorney ‘Phoney’ Fani Willis, who weakly presides over one of the deadliest communities in the U.S… is using a potential Indictment of me, and other innocent people, as a campaign and fundraising CON JOB,” Trump said of her behavior.

DeSantis PAC Chair: MAGA Are ‘Degenerates’, ‘ I Wouldn’t Piss On Trump If He Was on Fire’.

One of the Iowa county chairmen announced by Ron DeSantis’s Super PAC this week has declared that Trump supporters are “degenerates” and that he “wouldn’t piss on Donald Trump if he was on fire!”

Matt Wells, who boasts of having spent “the whole day” with Governor DeSantis in Iowa, was even more explicit about his disdain for the 45th President and his supporters, in yet another embarrassing saga for the botched DeSantis campaign:

“He could be burning to death, I would find a bathroom five miles away,” seethed Wells, a supposedly committed Christian who chairs the Never Back Down PAC in Washington County, in comments to the far left Huffington Post.

Wells had been infuriated after an airplane carrying a banner reading ‘Be Likable, Ron!’ had passed over an event where the Floridian was speaking.

“Trump people are degenerates,” he told POLITICO.

Figures like Wells seem unlikely picks to be able to win over MAGA conservatives that DeSantis has been courting.

Wells was a fierce Never Trumper in 2016, leaving the GOP altogether after the election and vowing he would never support Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds in 2017 – although he is now once again a GOP official, and white-knighting for Reynolds on social media due to her perceived alignment with DeSantis.

The fact Wells was chosen by Never Back Down as a leader of its high-profile ground campaign speaks to the failure of DeSantis, long billed as “Trump without the baggage,” to win over MAGA converts, forcing his surrogates to rely on unreconstructed Never Trumpers and a handful of questionable mega-donors to campaign.

House GOP Prepares to Subpoena Entire Biden Family.

The House Oversight Committee is preparing to subpoena President Joe Biden and his family if they do not willingly testify before Congress over the family’s ‘crooked‘ foreign financial affairs.

Chairman of the Oversight Committee James Comer (R-KY) announced the plan after the GOP-majority committee released bank statements earlier this week showing the Biden’s accepted at least $20 million from countries including Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.

“This is always going to end with the Bidens coming in front of the committee. We are going to subpoena the family,” Comer stated.

“We know that this is going to end up in court when we subpoena the Bidens. So we’re putting together a case, and I think we’ve done that very well. We’ve shown the bank records… We have put together a case that I think would stand up in any court of law in America,” Comer added.

Members of the committee have already been in contact with “three or four” of the family’s associates, such as Hunter Biden’s former best friend, Devon Archer, and will continue to build the case against the family in the near future; meaning, in spite of the overwhelming evidence against the Bidens, it is likely to be some time before any subpoena is issued.

BREAKING: Biden AG Names ‘Sweetheart Deal’ Special Counsel in Hunter Case.

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland has been named Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss as special counsel in the Department of Justice’s ongoing investigation of President Joe Biden’s son and alleged business partner, Hunter Biden. Weiss has already been overseeing the DOJ probe into Hunter Biden’s business dealings since 2019.

The DOJ order elevating Weiss to special counsel will allow him to “… conduct the ongoing investigation described above, as well as any matters that arose from that investigation or may arise… ” as well as  “…prosecute federal crimes in any federal judicial district arising from the investigation of these matters.” Attorney General Garland told members of the press that he was informed by Weiss that “…in his judgment, his investigation has reached a stage at which he should continue his work as Special Counsel and he asked to be so appointed.”

House Oversight Committee Chairman, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), blasted Attorney General Garland’s appointment of Weiss as special counsel, stating:

This is part of the DOJ’s efforts to attempt a Biden family coverup in light of our Committee’s mounting evidence of President Joe Biden’s role in his family’s schemes selling “the brand” for millions of dollars to foreign nationals.

The Justice Department’s misconduct and politicization in the Biden criminal investigation already allowed the statute of limitations to run with respect to egregious felonies committed by Hunter Biden. Justice Department officials refused to follow evidence that could have led to Joe Biden, tipped off the Biden transition team and Hunter Biden’s lawyers about planned interviews and searches, and attempted to sneakily place Hunter Biden on the path to a sweetheart plea deal.

Let’s be clear what today’s move is really about. The Biden Justice Department is trying to stonewall congressional oversight as we have presented evidence to the American people about the Biden family’s corruption.

Recently, Weiss and the DOJ came under intense scrutiny from U.S. district judge Maryellen Noreika for what critics argued was a sweetheart plea deal for President Biden’s son, Hunter – a crack-cocaine addict suspected of abusing the public trust along with his father in order enrich themselves and other members of the Biden family. Judge Noreika rejected the proposed language and after an attempt to renegotiate the agreement failed, Hunter Biden entered a plea of “Not Guilty” in the federal district court.

In addition to the sweetheart plea deal, Weiss has also received criticism for his proximity to allies of President Biden and his son Hunter Biden. Alexander Mackler, a long time friend and associate of Hunter Biden, worked as a prosecutor under Weiss in Delaware U.S. Attorney’s office during the earliest stages of the Biden probe. In texts between the two, Mackler would often refer to Hunter Biden as “buddy” or “brother”.
