OnlyFans Hit with $1M+ Fine By UK Court. Here’s Why…

The company behind the internet pornography giant OnlyFans has been handed a $1.35 million fine by a British court for failing to adequately provide information regarding how it accesses the ages of those using the subscription-based website. Fenix International Limited failed to provide precise information regarding the age assurance measures employed on OnlyFans, as required by British communications regulator Ofcom.

The inquiries, initiated in June 2022 and June 2023, sought detailed explanations of the age verification systems in place on the OnlyFans platform. In January 2024, Fenix voluntarily notified Ofcom that it had supplied incorrect details regarding the “challenge age” set within its age estimation technology.

This discrepancy prompted Ofcom to conduct several investigations into Fenix starting in May of the previous year. Suzanne Cater, Director of Enforcement at Ofcom, stressed the importance of accurate and timely information from platforms when responding to their statutory information requests.

“When we use our statutory powers to request information from platforms, they are required, by law, to ensure it is complete, accurate and delivered to us on time,” Cater said before continuing: “Receiving accurate and complete information is fundamental for Ofcom to do its job as a regulator, and to understand and monitor how platforms are operating.”

She added: “We will hold platforms to high standards and will not hesitate to take enforcement action where we find failings.”

Prior investigations have revealed multiple OnlyFans accounts making money from child sexual exploitation and spreading child sex abuse material (CSAM).  One child exploitation investigator stated last year that he reported at least 26 accounts on the site featuring CSAM of underage teenage girls.

Judge Spares Pedo Pakistani From Deportation Because He’s an Alcoholic.

A judge has stopped the deportation of a Pakistani migrant from Britain, despite a conviction for sexually assaulting an underage girl, because he is an alcoholic. The migrant had attacked the young girl after his release from prison, where he had served time for other sexual crimes.

While serving just a year in prison for the sex attack, the migrant appealed a deportation order, arguing that he would experience inhumane treatment if sent back to Pakistan, where alcohol is largely illegal. He claimed that his alcoholism would disadvantage him and that he would not be able to seek treatment for it in the Muslim-majority country.

The judge agreed with the migrant’s arguments, which also cited Pakistan’s prison conditions, noting that it would breach his supposed rights under the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), enforced by the supranational European Court of Human Rights, which Britain did not leave after Brexit.

The migrant also argued that he has a child in Britain—which could have seen him avoid deportation per his “right to a family life”—but the court noted he and the child had not communicated since 2020.

The case is just the latest example of dangerous foreign criminals being allowed to remain in the United Kingdom due to the country’s adherence to the ECHR. Reform Party leader Nigel Farage has called for Britain to leave the ECHR to deport criminal migrants. In his first speech in the House of Commons last July, he called for a referendum on the subject.

Finance Firm Apologises, Pays Settlement to Farage in ‘Debanking’ Scandal.

Brexit leader Nigel Farage has successfully resolved his long-standing debanking dispute with NatWest Group, nearly two years after the closure of his accounts at the bank’s Coutts subsidiary. The settlement, which includes an apology from NatWest, brings closure to a saga that led to the resignation of the bank’s former chief executive, Dame Alison Rose, in 2023.

Farage, leader of Britain’s rising Reform Party, and NatWest confirmed the resolution in a joint statement, saying, “NatWest Group and Nigel Farage MP are pleased to confirm that they have resolved and settled their dispute, and the bank has apologised to Mr Farage. The terms of settlement are confidential.”

Sources indicate that NatWest agreed to pay Farage damages, while Farage, in turn, withdrew his threats of civil and criminal proceedings against the bank. Farage initially sought millions of pounds, claiming the debanking row severely damaged his reputation.

The controversy began when Coutts closed Farage’s accounts, initially citing commercial reasons. However, Farage obtained internal bank documents revealing that his political views significantly influenced the decision. The situation escalated after a BBC News report claimed the closure was purely commercial, based on inaccurate information Dame Alison Rose disclosed to a journalist at a charity dinner in violation of privacy rules.

Sir Howard Davies, the bank’s chairman at the time, determined that Dame Alison had to step down despite her public apology to Farage.

Here’s the Country With the Highest Property Taxes.

A new analysis shows that the highest property taxes of any developed country can be found in the United Kingdom, as it struggles to meet housing demand due to unprecedented levels of mass migration. Analysis by tax and software firm Ryan indicates that British property taxes, including council tax, business rates, and stamp duty, constitute 3.7 percent of its gross domestic product (GDP) for the 2023/24 tax year.

This surpasses Luxembourg and France, both at 3.5 percent and Canada, at 3.4 percent. Despite a 0.3 percentage point decrease from the previous year, the British property tax burden remains higher than the 2.7 percent average within the G7.

With the new tax year commencing in April, property taxes are set to rise again. Council tax bills, which fund municipal governments, will increase by five percent for a third consecutive year.

Additionally, first-time homebuyers in England and Northern Ireland will face less generous stamp duty relief next month, as exemptions will only apply to properties below $388k. Businesses in retail, leisure, and hospitality will contend with reduced business rate discounts, shifting from 75 percent to 40 percent, following last year’s budget adjustments by the leftist Labour Party government.

The high costs come as the United Kingdom struggles to build enough homes for its growing population, which has been almost entirely driven by mass migration in recent years. Labour has also scrapped plans to prioritize native Britons for public housing, which is heavily subsidized by taxpayers.

Islamist Sentenced for Attempting to Bomb Hospital.

An Islamist who attempted a bombing at a British hospital has been sentenced to a minimum of 37 years in prison. Mohammad Farooq, 29, was convicted after bringing an explosive device to St James’s Hospital in the city of Leeds, England, in January. The device, a pressure cooker bomb, contained double the explosives of those used in the Boston Marathon bombing of 2013.

Farooq’s plan was thwarted when he was dissuaded by patient Nathan Newby, whom he encountered at the hospital. Farooq initially aimed to attack an American military in North Yorkshire but was deterred by security measures. He then targeted St James’s Hospital, intending to detonate the bomb in a café during a shift change, and also attack people with knives and incite police to shoot him by brandishing an imitation firearm.

Prosecutors described Farooq as self-radicalized, seeking martyrdom. The court heard he wished to “kill as many nurses as possible.”

In handing down the life sentence, Judge Mrs. Cheema-Grubb commended Nathan Newby for his courage in “talking down” Farooq. She described Newby as an “extraordinary, ordinary man,” highlighting his intervention on January 20, 2023, as key in preventing a potential atrocity.

The sentencing took place at Sheffield Crown Court, where it was determined Farooq must serve at least 37 years before being eligible for release.

‘Sounds Good to Me!’ — Trump Positive on Rumored Royal Offer to Join British Commonwealth.

President Donald J. Trump has responded to reports that King Charles III intends to make a “secret offer” to him for the U.S. to join the British Commonwealth as an associate member. Properly known as the Commonwealth of Nations, the organization comprises 56 members—almost all former members of the British Empire— who collaborate on a range of issues and host cultural events such as the Commonwealth Games, modeled on the Olympics.

U.S. associate membership of the Commonwealth was first floated during President Trump’s first term, with the Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS) pitching the idea in 2017 via Nigel Farage, an ally of the America First leader who now leads Britain’s Reform Party. Society members eagerly await a potential invitation from King Charles during Trump’s upcoming state visit to the United Kingdom.

A source said: “This is being discussed at the highest levels. It would be a wonderful move that would symbolize Britain’s close relationship with the U.S. Donald Trump loves Britain and has great respect for the Royal Family, so we believe he would see the benefits of this.” The insider highlighted Trump’s well-known admiration for Britain and its monarchy, with his Scottish mother, Mary, having been a staunch royalist.

Responding to these reports on his Truth Social platform, President Trump wrote: “I Love King Charles. Sounds good to me!”

Massive Disruption as Fire Shuts Down London Airport, Counter Terror Police Investigating.

Counter-terrorism police are investigating a suspicious fire at London’s Heathrow Airport on March 21. The substation fire left thousands without electricity and forced 100 people to be evacuated from their homes. While London’s Metropolitan Police say that there is no clear indication of foul play at the moment, some are speculating Russia may be connected to the incident.

The fire occurred at an electrical substation in West London near Heathrow and knocked out power to the airport, affecting over 1,300 flights to and from it. Energy Secretary Ed Miliband stated that the fire “appears to have knocked out a backup generator as well as the substation itself.” He added that the exact cause of the fire was unknown, but at least one local resident claimed to have heard a loud explosion on Thursday night.

Some British media outlets have speculated that Russia may be tied to the incident, although at least one expert has said that is “unlikely” and warned that such a move would be considered an act of war.

The incident comes just months after Russia was accused of planting a bomb on a courier plane after an alleged device caught fire in a warehouse in Birmingham, England’s second city, last October. This came just weeks after another package caught fire in Germany, which had also been shipped by the same courier.

‘Mark on His Head’ — Tommy Robinson’s Isolation in Prison Is ‘Destroying’ His Mental Health.

Citizen journalist and anti-grooming gangs activist Tommy Robinson, serving a draconian 18-month sentence for contempt of court due to breaching a prior injunction in a civil case, has been relocated to a “closed wing” within the British prison holding him amid reported threats to his life. Legal representatives for Robinson argued on Thursday that his lengthy isolation is contributing to a decline in his mental health. They are seeking a legal challenge to alter his conditions of confinement.

The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) opposes this move, arguing that Robinson’s segregation is necessary due to credible threats from other inmates. Tom Cross, representing the MOJ, stated that initial threats emerged after Robinson was transferred to His Majesty’s Prison (HMP) Woodhill from HMP Belmarsh. “HMP Woodhill received several intelligence reports showing a non-speculative risk to the claimant, including that two other prisoners at HMP Woodhill were plotting to assault the claimant to gain kudos and notoriety, and that the claimant had a ‘mark on his head’ and would be killed by a lifer if located on a wing,” Cross said.

It appears the MOJ is not countenancing the alternative solution of subjecting Robinson to house arrest or some other less stringent punishment for his non-violent offense—namely, defending allegations he made against a Syrian migrant that were deemed libelous in a civil case.

Robinson’s legal team argues that the isolation is detrimentally affecting his mental health and suggests a transfer to a different facility that does not have a “significant Muslim population” like HMP Woodhill.

Robinson, appearing via video link, said, “solitary confinement is destroying my mind,” adding: “I am terrified of the long-term consequences of the continued solitary confinement. I feel I am being provoked to react. I want to leave prison mentally well, not mentally broken.”

Vance: ‘Importing Cheap Labor’ Has Made the West ‘Lazy.’

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance argues that importing cheap foreign labor through mass immigration has led to declining productivity and economic stagnation in the West. Speaking at a summit of venture capitalists hosted by Andreesen Horowitz on Tuesday, the Vice President stated the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom are “addicted to cheap labor,” which has fueled over 40 years of economic policy failures.

“I’d say that if you look in nearly every country, from Canada to the UK, that imported large amounts of cheap labor, you’ve seen productivity stagnate,” Vance told technology industry investors attending the summit. He continued: “That’s not a total happenstance. I think that the connection is very direct.”

Vance contends that high levels of immigration in Britain and the United States have caused both countries’ workforces and innovators to become lazy, leading to plummeting productivity.

TARIFFS.

The Vice President also defended President Donald J. Trump’s tariff policies, stating that the trade measures are a “necessary tool to protect our jobs and our industries from other countries.”

“When you erect a tariff wall around a critical industry like auto manufacturing and you combine that with advanced robotics and lower energy costs and other tools that increase the productivity of U.S. labor, you give American workers a multiplying effect,” Vance said. “Now that, in turn, allows firms to make things here at a price-competitive basis.”

Starting April 2, the United States will impose reciprocal tariffs on nations that have placed high trade barriers on American goods.

Farage’s Reform Party Boosted by DOZENS of New Defections.

Brexit leader Nigel Farage has announced that 29 councilors have defected to his Reform Party ahead of the British local elections. These councilors have come from a range of parties, including the formerly governing Conservatives, the ruling Labour Party, the Liberal Democrats, and several independent groups. Farage revealed these changes during a press conference as Reform prepares for the council elections in May.

Zia Yusuf, the party chairman, confirmed that Reform plans to field candidates in all 1,641 seats set to be contested on May 1. Farage reflected on party challenges in recent weeks, indicating they had experienced “a little bit of turbulence.” One of the party’s five Members of Parliament (MPs), Rupert Lowe, had been suspended after being accused of bullying and threats of violence, which Lowe denied, instead claiming he was targeted for challenging Farage.

Farage emphasized the importance of thoroughly investigating the complaints, stating the party awaits a report from an independent King’s Counsel (KC) lawyer to ascertain the truth.

Despite these internal issues, the defections coupled with strong poll results suggest Reform’s momentum has not been significantly slowed. Polling data also indicates a majority of British electoral districts would prefer Farage as Prime Minister over Labour incumbent Sir Keir Starmer.
