Ukraine Is Using AI Honeytraps on ‘Horny’ Russian Troops.

The Ukrainian army claims to have deployed artificial intelligence (AI) honeytraps to entice Russian soldiers into giving away key strategic information, such as the number of Russian troops in an area, the amount of military equipment on site, and the success or failure of attacks.

“We tend not to bother with the horny ones,” says “Masha”. “The more horny he is, the less likely he is to talk about anything else.”

The two Ukrainian women use AI images and the pseudonyms Angelina and Masha. They are employed by the Ukrainian firm Molfar to target Russian men in occupied territory, with some online relationships with Russian troops reportedly lasted up to a year.

The two women revealed to the The Times how stupid the Russian “orcs” – as they call them – were willing to do almost anything in return for the ladies’ attention and affection. Officers, they say, were usually too smart to fall for the ruse.

“We’re looking for information about number of troops, information on the amount of military equipment, the success or lack of success of some attacks, their problems with food and equipment.”

– “Angelina”

Sometimes the girls receive more than just flirtation, however, with pictures and videos of dead or captured Ukrainian servicemen being sent by braggadocios Russians.

“I’ve had a boyfriend for a very long time,” Angelina concluded, without going into how she explains her text and phone call flirtations with Russian men to said boyfriend.

ukraine's ports

Russia is Devastating Ukraine’s Ports.

Russia launched “truly massive” air strikes against Ukraine’s ports overnight, and is making advances in the Kharkov (Kharkiv) region, where it has amassed a 100,000-strong force, according to Ukraine’s own lawmakers.

After the Ukrainian attack on the Kerch Bridge linking Crimea to Russia proper, Moscow terminated a grain export deal allowing Ukrainian ships to continue exporting its product. Vessels on the Black Sea coast are now subject to a naval blockade, and “all ships proceeding to Ukrainian ports in Black Sea waters will be considered as potential carriers of military cargo” from Wednesday night.

Odessa (Odesa) and smaller port cities such as Chornomorsk have also been hammered by “truly massive” air strikes, damaging infrastructure and grain terminals.

“It was hell in Odesa [last] night, so many missiles, so many drones,” commented Ukrainian lawmaker Oleksiy Goncharenko, adding that it was “[p]robably the most massive attack of all time” on the city.

Compounding these issues, European Union (EU) member-states including Poland – one of Ukraine’s strongest backers – are pushing to extend EU restrictions on Ukrainian grain exports to their countries which had hurt local farmers.

President Volodymyr Zelensky is also facing bad news from the front line, where a long-awaited Ukrainian counter-offensive strengthened by Western equipment is still failing to produce significant breakthroughs – and Russian forces are now advancing in the Kharkov oblast.

Ukrainian commanders say they are facing “[m]ore than 100,000 personnel, more than 900 tanks, more than 550 artillery systems and 370 rocket salvo systems” in the northerly region, and acknowledge the Russians have been making territorial gains.

On Wednesday, the Kremlin claimed it had captured the region’s Movchanove railway station, a claim which remains unverified at the time of publication.

EU Pledges Further $22bn in Tax Payer Cash to Ukraine.

The European Union (EU) is preparing to dedicate up to €20 billion ($22.4 billion) over the next four years to ensure Ukraine’s military remains stocked amid growing concerns from Western nations, including the United States and the United Kingdom, over their increasingly depleting munitions reserves.

The military fund will become “part of the EU’s broader efforts to show its long-term commitment to Ukraine,” reports POLITICO.

The EU will not pay for Ukrainian weapons directly, however, opting to remunerate individual nations that manufacture, purchase, and donate their own weapons to the Ukrainian forces such as “ammunition, missiles and tanks.”

“Our level of support to Ukraine in the military is now so high, that money allocated to the European Peace Facility for Ukraine will be soon exhausted,” stated one anonymous senior EU official about the plans. However, the EU’s support to Ukraine is still roughly half that of the United States, which has provided roughly 70 percent of all the military, financial, and humanitarian aid given to Ukraine.

The EU’s proposal follows another recent European pledge to Ukraine to provide a further €50 billion ($56 billion) in “non-military assistance” between 2024 and 2027. “Ukraine is bravely fighting Russia’s invasion and needs our stable financial support to face the tremendous costs this entails. The EU has promised to stand by its side as long as it takes and we are true to our word,” stated European Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen after announcing the aid.

Ukraine is ‘Battle Lab’ for War Tech, Admits Defence Minister.

The war in Ukraine has become a ‘battle lab’ for the United Kingdom’s military technology and effectiveness, according to the British Secretary of State for Defence, Ben Wallace, who warned this week: “[w]e would be very foolish to ignore these lessons and not import them into our own armed forces.”

Wallace – who was recently considered a potential replacement for NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg – made the remarks after a ‘Defence Command Paper’ was released by the British government on Tuesday.

The paper, among other things, supports an additional £2.5 billion ($3.2 billion) investment in British stockpiles and “great focus on science and technology,” yet does not address the recent claims by former NATO Secretary General Lord Robertson that the UK’s munitions stocks are “dangerously low.”

“New technologies are not gimmicks, they’re fundamentally key to how we fight a modern war,” argued Wallace, adding that the Ukrainian war has assisted Britain in ensuring “that we can be match fit for any future conflict.”

“Originally we were taking things out of service, having a bit of a gap in the middle of the decade, and then we’d have the new equipment. That’s something I don’t want to risk any more [sic],” Wallace added.

This follows Wallace’s assertion over the weekend that the UK will be dragged into a conflict by the end of the decade due to growing international threats, such as Putin’s Russia, the Chinese Communist Party, and Islamic terrorism.

Putin: Ukraine’s Counter Ops Failing, 100+ Western Tanks Destroyed in July.

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin claims over 100 Western tanks have been destroyed since early July as Ukraine’s ongoing counter-offensive struggles to make headway, with the embattled Russian leader claiming “All attempts by the enemy to break through our defenses – and this is their objective, which includes the use of strategic reserves – they have not been successful for the entire time of the offensive.”

Referring specifically to Ukrainian forces and their new Western tanks, Putin said 311 enemy tanks had been destroyed since July 4th, and that “at least a third of them were made in the West, including Leopards.”

He went so far as to claim the Ukrainians often refuse to man Western tanks, as they are “priority targets” for Russian forces – “and they burn just as well as all the others, in fact better than the Soviet T-72 tanks, for instance.”

While his claims are impossible to verify, pro-Ukrainian observers estimated as long ago as early June that around 15 percent of the American-made Bradley fighting vehicles and half the Leopard 2R tanks supplied to Ukraine had already been lost.

A total of 31 American-made M-1 Abrams tanks promised to Ukraine by Joe Biden in January are yet to materialize, though Ukraine insists it has gained some ground during the counter-offensive, while conceding progress has been slow.

‘Mohammed’ is The Most Common Name Amongst Arrested ‘French’ Rioters.

‘Mohammed’ was overwhelmingly the most common name among those arrested during the recent French riots, reports the French newspaper L’Opinion, which analyzed a sample of the most common monikers amongst over 2,000 arrested throughout the uprisings in late June.

Mohammed appeared 81 times in a sample of 335 arrests, 50 times more than second place Yanis –another name with Arab origins – which appeared 31 times. In fact, several Arab names were prevalent among the random sample of 335, with Yacin appearing 11 times, Ali appearing 13, and Ibrahim at 10.

The names were revealed after the French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin argued that many of the names arrested were more typical French names, including Kevin and Matteo. Yet, neither features prominently in the list revealed by L’Opinion.

“No one can ignore reality anymore… in spite of everything, most of the political class wants to believe that it is a social crisis when the root cause is obvious: immigration,” asserts the former French presidential candidate, Eric Zemmour.

The riots in France were recently compared to the French Revolution of 1789 in terms of scale and destruction by the former French spy chief, Pierre Brochand.

Migrant Flows DOUBLE Under Meloni, Who Seems More Focused on Ukraine.

From the beginning of 2023 to July 12th, 73,414 illegal aliens reached Italy by sea, compared to 31,333 over the same period in 2022. Giorgia Meloni, who became Prime Minister of Italy in October 2022, is also radically increasing legal mass migration to the Mediterranean country despite running on a populist-nationalist platform to lower migration.

Meloni and her Brothers of Italy (FdI) party topped the polls on their eurosceptic, socially conservative, and especially anti-mass migration platform. The 46-year-old prime minister even claimed she would impose a naval blockade to stop boat migrants, often transported most of the way to Europe by so-called “rescue” ships operated by foreign non-governmental organizations (NGOs). But she has thus far failed to do so, instead offering much of her attention to Ukraine’s defensive war against Russia instead.

Meloni has adopted a fierce anti-Russian, pro-Ukrainian stance, despite the damage the associated sanctions war has done to Italy’s economy. Her compliant approach has earned her a level of acceptance in Washington D.C., however, with President Joe Biden pictured holding hands with her in May, and recently inviting her to the White House.

While neglecting the issue of illegal immigration, Meloni appears to have caved to big business interests on legal immigration, with her government announcing it will hand out almost half a million visas to non-European Union nationals between 2023 and 2025. In 2019, by contrast, only 30,850 such visas were issued.

Biden Orders 3,000 Army Reservists Ready for European Deployment.

President Joe Biden issued an executive order late Thursday that orders ready 3,000 U.S. army reservists in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve, which “provides rotational deployments of combat-credible forces to Europe” especially related to the 2014 Russia invasion of Crimea.

The operation has been designated a “contingency operation”, according to Army Lt. Gen. Douglas A. Sims II, Joint Staff director of operations.

“This new designation benefits troops and families with increases in authorities, entitlements and access to the reserve component forces and personnel,” Sims said.

“This [executive order] reaffirms the unwavering support and commitment to defend NATO‘s eastern flank in the wake of Russia’s illegal and unprovoked war on Ukraine,” Sims said.

The full order from President Biden can be read below:

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including sections 121 and 12304 of title 10, United States Code, I hereby determine that it is necessary to augment the active Armed Forces of the United States for the effective conduct of Operation Atlantic Resolve in and around the United States European Command’s area of responsibility.  In furtherance of this operation, under the stated authority, I hereby authorize the Secretary of Defense, and the Secretary of Homeland Security with respect to the Coast Guard when it is not operating as a service in the Navy, under their respective jurisdictions, to order to active duty any units, and any individual members not assigned to a unit organized to serve as a unit of the Selected Reserve, or any member in the Individual Ready Reserve mobilization category and designated as essential under regulations prescribed by the Secretary concerned, not to exceed 3,000 total members at any one time, of whom not more than 450 may be members of the Individual Ready Reserve, as they deem necessary, and to terminate the service of those units and members ordered to active duty.

This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

Biden Declares Victory in Ukraine, With 20% of The Country Still Under Russian Control.

President Joe Biden claims Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has “already lost Ukraine,” though Russian forces continue to occupy around a fifth of its territory, and a much-anticipated counter-offensive has produced minimal gains at the cost of many Western weapons systems which were supposed to be “game-changing”.

“He thought that if he invaded Ukraine, first of all, he’d get a welcome by every Russian speaker, they’d say, ‘Come on in.’ Secondly, he thought what would happen is that NATO would collapse, NATO would not to do anything, they’d be afraid to act,” Biden said, adding: “Go down the line, none of that’s happening.”

The backwards declaration of victory may end up being somewhat of a Bush-style “Mission Accomplished” moment for Biden, as the U.S. and NATO continue to be drawn into the conflict with very little to show for it.

Biden’s bar for success in war may be fairly low, however. The President previously hailed his Saigon-style withdrawal from Afghanistan, which saw dozens of American soldiers killed or injured by a suicide bomber – and an Afghan aid worker and seven children murdered when he authorized a retaliatory drone strike on the wrong target – as an “extraordinary success”.

Russia Set to Ban Gender Change Surgery.

The Russian government is pushing to ban sex change operations as well as gender changes on identity cards in an effort to promote ‘traditional values’ across Russian society. The legislation is set for a second reading of three on Thursday, having obtained initial approval in the lower house of parliament last month.

Only surgical operations to treat intersex “congenital physiological anomalies” among children will be permitted, provided approval is obtained from special medical commissions or public health care institutions.

“We are preserving Russia for posterity, with its cultural and family values, traditional foundations, and putting up a barrier to the penetration of Western anti-family ideology,” announced deputy chairman of the lower house, Pyotr Tolstoy, after the approval of the first reading.

This is the latest move by the Russian government targeting LGBT activism, which “Putin seeks to portray as evidence of moral decay in Western countries,” reports Reuters.

Last December, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law imposing restrictions on “propaganda of non-traditional sexual rations and pedophilia.” The legislation imposed heavy fines for “any action or the spreading of any information that is considered an attempt to promote homosexuality in public, online, or in films, books or advertising.”
