Trump Says He Will Impose Tariffs on the EU ‘Soon.’

President Donald J. Trump has signaled the possibility of imposing tariffs on European Union (EU) imports following similar actions against Canada and China. Tariffs on Mexico, originally part of the same executive order addressing Canada and China, were delayed by one month on Monday after Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum announced she would send 10,000 Mexican National Guard to help secure and prevent the flow of fentanyl over the U.S. southern border.

Speaking with the press in Maryland as he returned to the White House from a brief trip to Florida, Trump said the imposition of tariffs on the EU could happen “pretty soon.” While the measures enacted against Canada—and potentially Mexico—are aimed at pushing the two countries neighboring America to crack down on the cross-border illicit drug trade and illegal immigration, tariffs against the EU would be more likely intended to end its trade imbalance with the U.S. in the automobile and agricultural sectors.

“They don’t take our cars, they don’t take our farm products, they take almost nothing and we take everything from them. Millions of cars, tremendous amounts of food and farm products,” President Trump said, clarifying that the United Kingdom would likely not face similar measures as the EU thanks to Brexit. While the President does contend that some British trade practices are “out of line,” he emphasized that a trade deal with Prime Minister Keir Starmer can be worked out.

EIGHTY YEARS OF UNFAIR TRADE.

The EU has expressed strong opposition to Trump’s tariff strategies against Canada, Mexico, and China, promising a response if targeted. Notably, the United States has a significant trade deficit with the EU’s leading economy, Germany.

Since the end of World War II, the American government has allowed Germany to maintain high tariffs on U.S. automobiles and steel without retaliation. The policy—established under the Marshall Plan in 1948—was intended to rebuild the German economy and prevent it from falling under the influence of the Soviet Union.

Today, the German economy is the largest in Europe and the third-largest in the world, and the Soviet Union no longer exists.

President Trump Warns U.S. ‘Will Act’ If South Africa Seizes White-Owned Farms.

President Donald J. Trump has vowed the U.S. government “will act” if the South African government uses new legislation allowing “expropriation without compensation” to seize land from white farmers, as the late Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe did in the 2000s. “South Africa is confiscating land, and treating certain classes of people VERY BADLY,” he wrote on Truth Social in the small hours of Monday morning.

“It is a bad situation that the Radical Left Media doesn’t want to so much as mention. A massive Human Rights VIOLATION, at a minimum, is happening for all to see,” he continued. “The United States won’t stand for it, we will act. Also, I will be cutting off all future funding to South Africa until a full investigation of this situation has been completed!”

President Trump derailed previous efforts to dispossess white farmers in 2018 by publicly announcing an investigation into “farm seizures and expropriations and the large scale killing of farmers.”

The aforementioned farm seizures in neighboring Zimbabwe, which were accompanied by several state-sanctioned murders, ushered in a long period of economic calamity, with food production and the value of commercial farmland collapsing.

Germany Votes AGAINST Stopping Illegal Immigration.

The German legislature has voted down a bill restricting illegal immigration to Western Europe’s largest economy, put forward in response to a spate of deadly terrorist attacks. The bill would have imposed more restrictions on illegal immigrants and on the ability of migrants already present in Germany to import their family members to join them from abroad.

The notionally center-right German Christian Democratic Union (CDU), formerly led by Angela Merkel, failed to pass the new immigration bill through the German parliament, by a vote of 350 to 338.

Friedrich Merz, leader of the CDU and likely the next Chancellor of Germany after next month’s election, tried to pass the legislation with the help of the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. However, resistance from left-wing parties meant the vote failed overall.

Earlier this week, the CDU passed a motion on immigration with the help of the AfD, leading to former party leader and arch-globalist Merkel slamming Merz for working with the populists. On Friday, January 31, offices of the CDU in Berlin were attacked by far-left Antifa extremists, calling the CDU party members “fascists” for daring to work with the AfD.

While the CDU and their sister party, the Bavarian Christian Social Democrats (CDU), are expected to come first in next month’s election, they are not expected to come close to an outright majority. The AfD, meanwhile, is projected to win second place, but a coalition between the two parties seems unlikely. Historically, the establishment CDU has proven more willing to ally with the currently governing Socialists, Greens, and others to shut the AfD out of government.

The failed vote on restricting immigration comes just weeks after a migrant from Africa murdered a CDU party member. Christoph Rosenschon, 26, was stabbed to death in his home.

Grave of French Nationalist Le Pen Desecrated.

The grave of French nationalist Jean-Marie Le Pen, father of National Rally leader Marine Le Pen, has been desecrated, with vandals smashing the gravesite with a sledgehammer. The attack took place on the night of Thursday, January 30, at the Le Pen family tomb in La Trinité-sur-Mer. Police say that the cross of the tomb was completely destroyed and that other monuments to the family were also damaged in the attack.

French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau slammed those behind the attack, stating, “Respect for the dead is what distinguishes civilization from barbarism.”

Jordan Bardella, the president of the National Rally, called the act “unspeakable,” saying it was “committed by those who respect neither the living nor the dead.” The Lorient gendarmerie (paramilitary police) brigade is investigating the incident.

Jean-Marie Le Pen passed away earlier this month at the age of 96 after a prominent life in nationalist and right-wing politics. Le Pen was one of the co-founders of the Front National, which later became the National Rally.

Le Pen saw electoral success in the 1980s, winning a seat in the French parliament and later in the European Parliament. He also made it to the second round in the 2002 French presidential elections in a shock result but was defeated by former President Jacques Chirac.

THANKS, NEOCONS! Syria’s New President is an Al Qaeda Operative.

Ahmed al-Sharaa, until recently known by his nom de guerre, Abu Mohammad al-Julani, has declared himself interim President of Syria following the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad. Sharaa, leader of the al-Qaeda franchise Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), formerly al-Nusra, will lead a provisional legislative body that will function until a new constitution is established.

Before Assad’s ouster, HTS was a designated terrorist organization in the U.S., and Sharaa was a recognized terrorist with a $10 million government bounty on his head. The U.S. government’s Rewards for Justice website charged him with crimes, including kidnapping hundreds of Kurds and massacring villagers from Syria’s Druze religious minority.

However, U.S. efforts to bring Sharaa to justice were abandoned in the dying days of the Biden government, with Western media rebranding his organization as “diversity-friendly” jihadists.

The Sharaa government now claims the jihadist militias involved in ousting Assad have been disbanded. However, the reality is that they are being incorporated into, if not outright displacing, the official military.

Sections of Syria remain outside Sharaa’s control, including the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, or Rojava, long controlled by U.S.-backed Kurdish forces. However, it is likely that Turkey, which supported Sharaa’s offensive against Assad, will now move to destroy this administration.

China Spying

China Just Tried to Overthrow a Major Western Nation’s Government.

A Chinese-backed spamouflage operation posing as Spanish nationals sought to use the catastrophic flooding that hit Valencia, Spain, in October to instigate the overthrow of the country’s government. Disguising themselves as Safeguard Defenders and allegedly based in Spain‘s capital of Madrid, the Chinese agents were active from November through January on the Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), BlueSky, and TikTok social media platforms.

The social media accounts—comprised of Chinese operatives posing as Westerners—posted and amplified content critical of both Spain’s central government in Madrid and of Carlos Mazon, Valencia’s regional governor. The posts, predominantly in English and Spanish, focused primarily on the deadly floods that resulted in the deaths of 200 people.

Aside from amplifying public anger towards Mazon—who many Valencia residents called on to step down amidst his mishandling of the disaster—the Chinese spamouflage operation also targeted Spain’s King Felipe VI and far-left Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. The exposure of the social media influence operation suggests the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is less interested in promoting a uniform leftist ideology around the globe. Instead, it seeks to actively undermine Western governments which it sees as even remotely aligned with the interests of the European Union and the United States.

The National Pulse previously reported on a similar and complex Chinese spamouflage operation in the United States during the 2024 presidential election. Chinese agents, using social media, posed as American supporters of President Donald J. Trump and amplified conspiratorial content, such as claims that President Joe Biden is a “Satanist pedophile,” to discredit the MAGA movement. Again, the Chinese aims were less about promoting leftist ideology but instead sowing discord to accelerate the deterioration of public trust among the nation’s populace, which it views as a geopolitical rival.

Cops Intercept Explosive-Filled Camper Van Near Synagogue.

An alleged terrorist attack targeting a Jewish synagogue has been thwarted by law enforcement. Australian police announced they identified an explosive-laden vehicle—described as a caravan (a camper)—in the Dural suburb of Syndey in New South Wales on January 19. The caravan, which was full of explosives, is suspected of being intended for use as a massive bomb to kill Jewish worshipers.

“That caravan contained an amount of explosives and some indication that those explosives might be used in some form of antisemitic attack,” said New South Wales Deputy Police Commissioner David Hudson during a news conference. He emphasized that officials believe the threat was neutralized and that there is no ongoing danger to the area’s Jewish community.

While arrests have been made, Hudson did not reveal the number of individuals detained, their backgrounds, or the specific charges filed. New South Wales Premier Chris Minns—roughly equivalent to a U.S. state governor—stated that over 100 officers are involved in the inquiry under a coordinated effort between state and federal police. Minns characterized the incident as a potential mass casualty event, defining it unequivocally as terrorism.

In recent months, Australia has experienced a series of antisemitic incidents, with synagogues, properties, and vehicles targeted, notably since the escalation of Israel’s war against the Hamas terror group following the October 7, 2023 terrorist attacks on Israel. The increase in such incidents has led to criticism of left-wing Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s administration as a general election looms before May.

Christians have also been targeted by Islamists in Australia, with Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel and Father Isaac Royel being stabbed by a 16-year-old jihadist in the middle of a live-streamed church service in Sydney last year.

‘African Type’ Suspect in Killing of Teen Boy Admits Guilt.

One of the suspects in the killing of a 14-year-old boy named Elias has confessed to police in Paris, France, just days after he stabbed the teen, who later died of his wounds. Authorities describe the suspects in the killing of the young teen as “African” and “West Indian” types, possibly motivated by antisemitism.

The suspects were arrested just hours after the stabbing, which took place on Friday, January 24. The pair are said to have been born in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, where the stabbing took place, and both have French citizenship.

The suspects, aged 16 and 17, allegedly attempted to steal a cell phone from the victim and stabbed him when he resisted. Elias died the following day in a local hospital.

However, some French media report there may be a deeper motive for the attack. The magazine Entrevue has stated that Elias was known to be Jewish and that the attack may have been a result of antisemitism. According to the magazine, Elias is the son of a surgeon, and they claim to have received information that both his Jewish faith and his family’s wealth may have played a factor in why the two suspects targeted him.

Antisemitism is a major problem in France, with many Jews fleeing the country due to high levels of hatred and violence in multicultural cities like Paris.

Since the October 7, 2023 attacks, antisemitism has dramatically increased to the point where French Israelis have called on Jews in France to pack up and move to Israel for their own safety.

Trump’s Ukraine Peace Plan Leaked: 100-Day Strategy Unveiled.

Ukrainian media has leaked what is claimed to be President Donald J. Trump’s peace plan for the RussiaUkraine war, aiming for a ceasefire between the two countries by April 20. On Sunday, Strana, a Ukrainian media outlet, disclosed details of the supposed plan. However, other media outlets have not independently verified the authenticity of these details.

According to Strana’s report, the alleged plan includes initiating a phone call between Trump and Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, tentatively set for late January or early February. This would be followed by meetings with Putin and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky in subsequent months, with a ceasefire planned by April 20.

The plan also suggests withdrawing Ukrainian forces from the Russian region of Kursk and initiating an international peace conference. The conference, which could involve global mediators, aims to broker a lasting peace framework by May 9.

Key components of the proposed agreement reportedly involve prohibiting Ukraine from joining NATO and having it declare a neutral stance, combined with European Union (EU) membership by 2030.

Additionally, Ukraine would continue to receive military support from the U.S. while refraining from reclaiming territories under Russian control. Meanwhile, a phased lifting of sanctions against Russia could occur over three years, contingent on adherence to the agreement.

Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the Ukrainian President, dismissed the alleged plan, labeling it a fabrication. He suggested it might be Russian misinformation.

President Trump has vowed to end the conflict between the two countries and appears to have agreed with President Putin to meet and discuss the matter in the coming months. Trump has warned he is considering further sanctions against Russia if the country does not agree to work on a peace deal.

Deadly Paris: Boy Stabbed to Death During Cell Phone Robbery.

A 14-year-old boy named Elias was fatally stabbed in Paris, France, on Friday, January 24, after refusing to hand over his cell phone to two robbers. The incident occurred shortly before 8 PM in the city’s 14th arrondissement (district) as he left a soccer practice. Two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, demanded the younger boy’s phone, and upon his refusal, one of them stabbed him. Elias was pronounced dead on Saturday afternoon.

French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau expressed his horror at the incident, attributing it to a loss of societal direction and a breakdown of authority. Retailleau emphasized the need for a long and challenging journey to make France a place where parents no longer fear for their children’s lives over trivial matters.

The two minors implicated in the crime, who both reside in the 14th arrondissement, have been apprehended and detained. Initially investigated for “attempted homicide on a minor under 15 and armed extortion,” the charges now include “extortion followed by death, a crime punishable by life imprisonment.” Both suspects were already known to French police. One had a judicial measure for theft and extortion in December 2023, and both were charged with violent thefts in late October 2024, with a court order prohibiting their association.

Their ethnic and migration background, if any, has not been disclosed.

PARIS VIOLENCE.

The crime is just the latest in Paris to see a minor murdered on the street. It also comes just over two years after the brutal murder of 12-year-old girl Lola Daviet. Daviet was found left in a dumpster outside her apartment. Police later arrested an illegal migrant woman for the killing who should have been deported from the country months prior.

Last year, another murder, this time of a 19-year-old woman in the city, again saw discussions about migrant crime, with the man arrested for the killing being an illegal from Morocco. He was also subject to a deportation order that was never carried out, despite the fact he had been convicted of raping a student in 2019.

Some, like President Donald J. Trump, have correctly blamed mass migration for much of the increase in crime in Paris. Statistics show migrants are vastly overrepresented in crime statistics.
