The Failed Trump Assassin Appeared in a Ukrainian ‘Azov’ Video – Now They’re Trying to Distance Themselves.

The overtly neo-Nazi Azov Brigade has issued a statement denying any links to Ryan Wesley Routh, the suspect in the attempted assassination of former President Donald J. Trump at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday. However, Azov admits Routh attended one of their events in Ukraine.

The group released a statement on X (formerly Twitter) admitting that Routh appeared in a 2022 video at a protest in support of Azov forces, who were fighting in the city of Mariupol at the time.

“We would like to officially state that Ryan Wesley Routh has no connection to Azov and has never had any connection to Azov. The peaceful demonstration he attended was open and anyone could join it. He was caught on the video filmed by the protesters by accident,” Azov writes.

They add that any suggestion that Routh has a connection to their brigade or the Ukrainian armed forces is “Russian propaganda.”

However, both Routh’s social media and mainstream media reports show he was trying to recruit foreign fighters for the Ukrainian armed forces, mainly focusing on Afghans fleeing the Taliban.

A truck parked outside Routh’s home has been pictured sporting a large Biden-Harris bumper sticker. He has also made at least 19 donations to the Democrats through ActBlue and posed for a picture with major Democratic donor José Andrés.

Orban Defends ‘Hero’ Salvini, Who Faces Years in Prison for Stopping Illegal Immigrants.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is defending Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini as a hero. Salvini currently faces six years in prison over allegations of “kidnapping” migrants in relation to his efforts to deny them entry into Italy. “Europe’s bravest patriot punished for stopping migration. Those who defend Europe are constantly penalized. What is going on? [Matteo Salvini] is our hero!” Orban wrote on X on Monday, September 16.

Salvini, who served as Interior Minister under a prior government, is being prosecuted in Sicily for refusing to allow migrants to disembark from a ship in 2019 on the island of Lampedusa. Prosecutors are accusing Salvini of “kidnapping” because he refused to let a migrant taxi ship dock on the island for 19 days under his policy of closing Italy’s ports to migrant “taxi” ships operated by non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

“I would do it all again: defending borders from illegal immigrants is not a crime,” Salvini said over the weekend on social media.

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has also defended Salvini in the case, stating, “It is incredible that a minister of Italy risks six years in prison for doing his job defending the nation’s borders, as required by the mandate received from its citizens.”

In her first year in office, Meloni’s government saw levels of illegal arrivals that had not been seen in nearly a decade. However, in 2024, the number of illegal boat crossings to Italian territory finally slowed.

Meloni has also cracked down on migrant taxi NGOs, recently impounding the Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) migrant taxi ship Geo Barents last month.

EU Politician Who Targeted Elon Musk Abruptly Resigns.

The European Union Commissioner who threatened to censor Elon Musk and his X platform has quit over disagreements with Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and claims she was trying to replace him. Thierry Breton, who served in the last European Commission—the executive branch of the European Union—and was nominated by French President Emmanuel Macron to serve again in the upcoming Commission, resigned Monday, September 16.

Breton released a letter on X announcing his resignation. The letter stated that Von der Leyen had asked President Macron to withdraw Breton “for personal reasons,” subsequently claiming she offered France a more influential Commission position in the exchange.

Meanwhile, Breton called the move by Von der Leyen “further testimony to questionable governance.”

Ironically, Breton posted his resignation letter on X, a platform he has threatened recently. This includes threatening the platform’s owner, Elon Musk, ahead of his recent interview with former President Donald J. Trump.

Breton had warned Musk that if he did not censor the interview, he could face penalties under the EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA) if he violated its policies on hate speech, misinformation, or incitement to violence.

The threat came after months of tension between Breton and Musk. The EU launched initial proceedings under the DSA against X last December.

France, Breton’s native country, has also demanded that X censor “misinformation” on the platform, or it could be banned entirely from France and the EU. Most recently, Brazilian leftist Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes followed through with threats to ban X, even stating that anyone who tried to use a virtual private network (VPN) to access the site would be handed thousands of dollars of fines per day.

This Spy Agency Is Going After Conservative Media For ‘Pro-Russia Narratives.’

A major domestic spy agency in the European Union (EU_ has set its sights on conservative newspapers, mentioning the publications as part of a warning against supposed Russian disinformation. The Bavarian Office for the Protection of the Constitution, a branch of Germany’s domestic spy agency, mentioned three conservative outlets in an August report: Junge Freiheit, Tichy’s Einblick, and Berliner Zeitung.

The report claims that pro-Russia actors disseminated articles from the publications to spread “pro-Russia narratives,” linking to various articles.

In reaction to the report, Berliner Zeitung Editor-in-Chief Tomasz Kurianowicz accused the spy agency of engaging in reputational damage to the publication. He said that their job is to collect information on extremists and terrorists, not to go after independent media.

Conservative newspaper Junge Freiheit stated that the report was an attempt to “defame” the newspaper. Editor-in-Chief Dieter Stein demands that the spy agency remove references to the newspaper and sign a cease-and-desist declaration. According to a recent commentary by Stein on September 12, the spy agency has amended the report, withdrawing any accusations of Junge Freiheit being linked to Russia.

The backlash to the report comes after German police raided and shut down Compact magazine, noted for its support of former President Donald J. Trump, at the behest of leftist federal interior minister Nancy Faeser.

Faeser claims that the magazine engages in fostering “hatred” and violence against refugees and migrants.

The attacks on freedom of the press come as the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) is seeing surging poll numbers, while the left-green-neoliberal coalition of parties that make up the German federal government plummets towards irrelevancy.

Yet Another Western European Country Is Rejecting Mass Migration.

Yet another Western European country has announced a stricter migration policy, which will see one of the toughest asylum policies in this country’s history. The right-wing government in the Netherlands, which includes populist firebrand Geert Wilders and his Party for Freedom (PVV), will be enacting measures some of the strictest measures in the European Union (EU).

Marjolein Faber, a PVV member who serves as the Dutch migration and asylum minister, says the Netherlands will legally declare an asylum crisis and take emergency measures, including forced deportations and restrictions on family reunification, a.k.a. chain migration. “I’m aiming for the strictest asylum policy ever,” Faber said.

The country is also seeking an opt-out from EU migration and asylum policies, with Prime Minister Dick Schoof warning, “We cannot continue to bear the large influx of migrants to our country.”

The move comes as Germany’s far-left government announces it will suspend its participation in the EU’s open borders Schengen agreement and resume border controls. This follows a series of terrorist attacks and attempted attacks, including a mass stabbing in Solingen at a diversity festival that left three people dead. The attack was carried out by a Syrian failed asylum seeker who was supposed to be deported last year.

This measure is just one proposed by the German leftist government amid the surge in popularity of the anti-mass migration Alternative for Germany (AfD), formerly allied closely with Geert Wilders and the PVV in the EU.

Nationalist Party Leadership Race Kicks Off with Record 9 Candidates.

A record nine candidates have commenced a brief 15-day campaign to become the next leader of Japan’s ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and succeed Fumio Kishida as prime minister. The campaign period began on Thursday, aiming to restore public confidence after a scandal involving slush funds impacted intraparty groups.

The LDP is Japan’s major nationalist and conservative political party, once led by the late Shinzo Abe—a friend and political ally of former President Donald J. Trump. Abe was murdered by an assassin on July 8, 2022, while delivering a campaign speech in support of a fellow party member’s bid for a seat in the House of Councillors.

Due to the LDP’s dominance in Japanese politics, whichever candidate wins the party’s presidency will likely assume office as the country’s prime minister on October 1. The LDP and its coalition partner, Komeito, currently hold approximately 60 percent of the seats in the National Diet (the legislature comprising both the lower and upper house).

THE CANDIDATES.

Among the contenders are two candidates in their 40s and two women vying to be Japan’s first female prime minister. Four of the nine candidates currently serve in the Cabinet. Former Defense Minister Shigeru Ishiba emphasized transparency and public trust in politics during a televised joint appearance with other candidates.

Shigeru Ishiba, 67, making his fifth attempt at LDP leadership, described it as the culmination of his extensive career. Shinjiro Koizumi, 43, seeks to continue his reformer father’s legacy despite questions about his experience. Digital Minister Taro Kono, 61, the early Cabinet member to announce his candidacy, targets global security issues. Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshimasa Hayashi, 63, is known for his diverse expertise.

Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa, 71, is one of the two female candidates and has gathered the required support from 20 lawmakers. Economic security minister Sanae Takaichi, 63, aligns herself with the late Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s vision.

Former economic security minister Takayuki Kobayashi, 49, and ex-health minister Katsunobu Kato, 68, are new entrants to the race. LDP Secretary General Toshimitsu Motegi, 68, challenges the government’s tax policy and proposes alternative funding for defense spending increases.

If no candidate secures a majority of the 734 votes in the initial count, the election will move to a runoff between the top two candidates, with votes reallocated to Japan’s 47 prefectures and LDP lawmakers.

Grenell Accuses Germany of Election Interference Over Anti-Trump X Post.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell has accused the country‘s far-left government of interfering in the U.S. Presidential elections with an X (formerly Twitter) post “fact-checking” former President Donald J. Trump following his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.

Grenell reacted to a post by the German Foreign Office—roughly equivalent to the U.S. State Department—which criticized Trump’s statements on energy security. The former president noted the Germans, after pushing renewable energy policies hard, were forced to turn back to “normal energy plants.”

The German post said, “Like it or not, Germany’s energy system is fully operational, with more than 50 percent renewables.”

“And we are closing—and not building—coal-fired and nuclear power plants. Coal will be off the grid by 2038 at the latest. PS: We don’t eat cats and dogs either,” they added.

Grenell reacted to the Tweet, stating, “The blatant election interference from the German government is worse than the Russian and Iranian interference.”

Grenell later noted that German media has largely vindicated Trump’s comments on renewables, stating that the 50 percent renewable figure is limited to electricity production only, not energy overall. Only around a fifth of Germany’s total energy consumption is covered by renewables. It is also true that the Germans had to reactivate many coal-fired power plants to get through winter.

The German jibe about eating cats and dogs—a reference to Trump mentioning reports of Haitian migrants killing animals in Springfield, Ohio—was also ill-advised, as the European country has experienced confirmed cases of migrants killing and eating people’s pets.

Putin: Authorizing Long-Range Missile Strikes Against Russia Would Be an Act of WAR by NATO.

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has flatly stated that any long-range missile strikes carried out by Ukraine against the territory of Russia will constitute an act of war against the Russian Federation by NATO.

He warns that if Ukraine is empowered to strike Russia with long-range missiles supplied by NATO, the alliance would be at war with his country:

Putin notes that Ukrainian drone attacks have already taken place within Russia, most recently in Moscow. However, “When it comes to using high-precision long-range Western-made weapons, it’s a completely different story.”

“The Ukrainian army is not able to strike with modern long-range precision systems of Western manufacture. It cannot do this. It can only do so using intelligence from satellites, which Ukraine does not have. This is data from [European Union] satellites, or from the United States, in general from NATO,” he said.

Putin believes only NATO servicemen can enter flight assignments for the missile systems, arguing the real question is whether NATO wants to be directly involved in the war in Ukraine or not.

Putin’s ominous words come after Biden-Harris Secretary of State Anthony Blinken hinted that Ukraine may get the green light to use long-range missiles against Russia earlier this week.

Migrant Politician Uses Baby Jesus and Virgin Mary as Target Practice.

Sanija Ameti, a now-former city councilor, has resigned after publishing a video of herself shooting a print of the Virgin Mary and infant Jesus on Instagram. Ameti, who had been a leader of the Green Liberal Party (GLP) in Zurich, Switzerland, is an immigrant from a Bosnian Muslim family, and claimed she did not realize the Christian image had religious significance.

Few people believe the Bosnian did not know what she was shooting at, and the GLP has expelled her in response to public outrage. She has also lost her job at a public relations consultancy. However, she seemingly remains co-president of Operation Libero, an anti-populist activist organization whose current focus is on subsuming Switzerland into the European Union (EU).

Christian symbols and statuary are increasingly being targeted by radical Muslims, migrants, and the far-left in multicultural Western Europe. For instance, a statue of Mother Mary at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Wembley, London, was destroyed in August amid anti-immigration demonstrations and Muslim and far-left counter-demonstrations.

Later the same month, the 800-year-old Heggen church in Vikersund, Norway, was defaced with graffiti stating “kill whites.”

Such incidents are most prevalent in France, with 2021 estimates suggesting one mosque was being opened and one Christian building or monument destroyed every two weeks.

Putin Ally Accuses Once Popular Pokémon GO Game of Being Western Spy Tool.

Belarus, a country allied with Russia and Vladimir Putin, claims the popular mobile phone game Pokémon GO is a tool of Western intelligence and was used to collect data on sensitive sites in the country. Alexander Ivanov, head of ideological work at the Belarusian Defense Ministry, asserts that Pokémon GO was used to spy on Belarusian aviation equipment during its peak popularity.

“Where do you think there were the most Pokémon at that time?” he told local media this week, adding: “On the territory of the 50th air base, where the runway is, where there is a lot of military aviation equipment. That’s where there were the most Pokémon. Is this not intelligence information?”

Russia has also previously criticized the Japanese-developed augmented reality game, with some connecting it to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) through a venture capital firm. Others in Russia have stated it had ties to Satanism and called for the game to be banned in churches and other locations.

While Belarus is a close ally of Russia, the country has not officially sent troops to help Russia in its ongoing conflict with Ukraine. Still, the Belarusian government has been accused of facilitating the Russian invasion by letting Russian forces operate from its territory. Last year, the Biden-Harris regime called on Americans to depart the country immediately, stating there was a potential for civil unrest and risk of detention for Americans.

Earlier this year, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin visited Belarus and stated he was prepared to accept a negotiated ceasefire, but the Ukrainians ultimately rejected this.
