El Salvador’s Populist Prez Says U.S. Can’t Lecture on ‘Democracy’ After Anti-Trump Colorado Ballot Ruling.

The President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, believes the United States “has lost its ability to lecture any other country about ‘democracy'” after the Colorado Supreme Court removed Donald Trump from its GOP primary ballot.

The all-Democrat court’s decision to kick Trump off the ballot for “insurrection” – an offense he has never been convicted of by a jury of his peers – came in response to a case brought by plaintiffs backed by the George Soros-funded CREW organization. They used Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, devised to keep Confederate rebels out of high office, to advance the case.

Bukele is not alone in criticizing the court’s move to deprive the people of Colorado of the right to decide whether or not they should vote for Trump. Three of its seven justices, including the Chief Justice, voted against the decision, with one warning the 45th President had been denied due process and a fair trial.

Bukele, best known for his draconian but effective crackdown on gangsterism in El Salvador, has been criticized by the Joe Biden regime for imprisoning some 74,000 people with suspected gang affiliations. Biden has also sanctioned officials close to the Central American leader.

Russo-Chinese Trade Booms Due to Ukraine War, at The Expense of the West.

Trade between the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China is booming amid the Western sanctions war on Moscow, with cheap Russian energy making Chinese factories more profitable and Chinese vehicles rapidly replacing Western ones in the Russian market.

Commerce between the two countries has already cleared $200 billion for 2023. Reports indicate Russian chocolates, sausages, and other goods have become “plentiful” in Chinese stores, with Russia-linked locations becoming popular sites for Chinese social media influencers.

More significantly, the volume of Russian natural gas transferred to China through its Power of Siberia pipeline has increased, with negotiations to construct a second pipeline from gas fields that once supplied the European Union well underway.

As Chinese manufacturers reap the benefits of this cheap energy while their Western and especially European rivals struggle with high costs, exacerbated by self-inflicted green policies, they are also benefiting from Western manufacturers having cut themselves off from the Russian market. Chinese automakers, whose market share in Russia was just eight percent in 2021, now hold a dominating 55 percent share.

Western expectations of economic collapse in Russia have proved ill-founded, with the country continuing to source artillery shells, missiles, and other key equipment for its war more easily than Ukraine.

American Public Pension Funds Pour over $68 Billion Into China in Just 3 Years.

American public pension funds have sunk over $73.28 billion into Chinese stocks, over $68 billion of it since 2020 – presenting a potentially serious national and economic security risk, as relations with the communist dictatorship worsen.

The New York State Common Retirement Fund and the New York State State Teachers’ Retirement System are among the pension funds most exposed to China, with over $8.3 billion and $3.1 billion committed, respectively.

Other major investors include the California Public Employees Retirement System, with $7.86 billion committed, the California State Teachers System, at $5.55 billion, the Washington State Investment Board, at $5.02 billion, the San Francisco Employees Retirement System, at $3.3 billion, and the Pennsylvania Public School Employees Retirement System, at $3.2 billion.

Many American school systems and universities are also exposed, with Chinese investments totaling $7.6 billion.

“The threat posed by China to America’s national security is clear yet the managers of our retirees’ pensions and university endowments continue to feign ignorance and rue accountability, undermining America’s national interests,” said Andrew King, chief executive of the Future Union group that crunched the numbers.

“That must end now,” he added.

The Biden regime has consistently opposed “decoupling” from China after the Wuhan virus pandemic exposed the American economy’s dangerous over-reliance on its Asian adversary, despite being treated with contempt by Beijing.

Now Even France is Strengthening Its Immigration Laws.

Legislation passed through the French parliament late-Tuesday night curbs the number of migrants allowed into the European nation, strengthens requirements for French citizenship, streamlines migrant expulsion procedures, and delays access to state benefits for those wishing to migrate to France.

“Political life consists of crises, of agreements and of disagreements,” said Emmanuel Macron in response to the passage of a new French law cracking down on illegal migrants and enacting new migration quotas.

The law is a culmination of negotiations between Macron’s political allies in the parliament and Marine Le Pen’s National Rally party in the French National Assembly. While many French citizens, as well as Le Pen and her political allies, saw the immigration deal as a tremendous victory for France, Macron’s ruling coalition descended into a degree of infighting. Aurélien Rousseau, Macron’s health minister, resigned from government in protest fo the laws passage.

Macron himself insisted he had not “betrayed” voters who chose him over Le Pen during the last 2022 French elections. On Wednesday he said, regarding the law: “It is a shield that we needed.”

Tension among the French over the country’s immigration policies have driven talks of a possible national referendum on the subject. The move to deport illegal immigrants from the country could face opposition from the European Court of Human Rights.

“We used to wait until we had the opinion [of the European Court of Human Rights] even if that meant keeping extremely dangerous people on our soil. Now we don’t wait. We expel and we wait to see what the court is going to say. The consequence of that is indeed a fine,” said France’s Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin in October.

WATCH: Poland’s New Globalist Govt Shuts Down Public TV & Radio, Fires Execs for Being Conservative.

Poland’s freshly installed globalist government is moving swiftly to consolidate its power, firing the leadership of the country’s public radio and television stations and shutting them down. Members of the recently deposed Law and Justice party (PiS) attempted to stage a sit-in at the television station’s headquarters to protest the fascistic move, but the demonstration was broken up by armed police.

Donald Tusk, who abandoned his post as Prime Minister of Poland for a much better-paid position as President of the European Council shortly before his party was routed from office by PiS in 2015, returned to the Polish premiership at the head of a ragtag coalition of left-liberal parties earlier this month, despite PiS placing first. His “reforms” of public broadcasters Polskie Radio and TVP are ostensibly aimed at turning Poland’s public broadcasters into platforms for “reliable information” – but there is little dispute his chief aim is to purge the airwaves of conservatives appointed during PiS’s terms in office from 2015 to this year.

President Andrzej Duda, who is aligned with PiS, said the manner in which Tusk’s government has seized control of state media is a “gross violation of the constitution,” amounting to a form of “anarchy [intended] to circumvent the law”.

Protests against Tusk’s actions are ongoing, with there being some debate as to whether or not his moves against Polskie Radio and TVP, authorized by a simple resolution of the legislature, were lawful.

Ukrainian Legalizes Weed For PTSD Sufferers.

Ukraine’s parliament authorized the legalization of medical marijuana on Tuesday, a measure aimed to provide relief for thousands suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder resulting from the nation’s conflict with Russia. Set to take effect in six months, the new law enables cannabis use not only for medical applications, but also for scientific and industrial pursuits. Prime Minister Denys Smyhal proposed the legislation, which successfully amassed 248 votes in the 401-seat parliament.

The legalization of medical marijuana had already stirred extensive discourse in Ukraine. Proponents advocated for the therapeutic benefits such usage could bring, while opponents expressed concerns about potential wide-spread drug availability across Ukrainian urban centers. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, resulted in renewed momentum for the legalization conversation, as widespread stress and anxiety due to the conflict has extensively affected the nation’s citizens.

The newly-passed legislation maintains stringent controls over the production and distribution of cannabis. Medicinal products containing cannabis will only be obtainable with a valid doctor’s prescription. Despite the law’s changes, recreational use of cannabis continues to be classified as a criminal offense in Ukraine.

At Least 15 Dead in Prague Shooting.

At least 15 people have been reported dead and injured in a shooting incident at Charles University’s Faculty of Arts located near the Old Town, a major tourist hub within the city, as per the official statement from Prague police. The horrific event unraveled at this educational facility in the capital city of the Czech Republic, erupting fear and panic among students and faculty present at the scene. Local authorities confirmed the shooter’s elimination shortly after the attack, while refraining from revealing exactly how many victims were impacted.

Eyewitness reports and visual evidence posted on social media depicted the terrifying scene on the university campus, with sirens blaring and police vehicles flooding the streets around the building. Videos on social media platforms showed bystanders looking visibly panicked and attempting to escape the premises. Prague police issued a plea, urging residents to stay away from the area and to remain indoors for safety reasons.

Jakob Weizman, a journalist sheltering inside a darkened classroom, shared his experience on social media: “Currently stuck inside my classroom in Prague. Shooter is dead, but we’re waiting to be evacuated. Praying to make it out alive,” he wrote. He later added, “Locked the door before the shooter tried to open it. F—ing hell.” Yet another social media user furnished the world with a chilling image of what appeared to be students desperately huddled on the university building’s scaffolding, emphasizing the level of fear and panic induced by the tragic event.

WATCH: Anti-Israel Protestors Clash with NYPD While Mobbing Grand Central, Penn Station, and Moynihan Train Hall.

Anti-Israel protestors targeting New York City transport hubs clashed with police on several occasions on Monday evening. The so-called “global strike for Gaza and all of Palestine” targeted Grand Central Station, the Port Authority Bus Terminal, Penn Station, and the Moynihan Train Hall.

Demonstrators infiltrated the concourse in Moynihan and caused disruption for would-be travelers, in part by staging Islamic prayers. Bus services were disrupted as they marched down 42nd Street between 6th Avenue and 8th Avenue.

Elsewhere, controversial actor Alec Baldwin was caught up in the protest, with police having to separate him from the mob after he refused to condemn Israel and told protestors to stop asking him “stupid questions”.

Scuffles between protestors and police broke out at several locations, with reports of an unspecified number of arrests. Demonstrators can be seen shouting “f*** you!” and “f*** the police!” in footage of the altercations, and jostling and heckling officers in an effort to make them release demonstrators who were being arrested.

EU Launches Pro-Censorship Legal Action Against Elon Musk.

The European Commission has launched proceedings against Elon Musk’s X, formerly Twitter, under the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA).

“Today’s opening of formal proceedings against X makes it clear that, with the DSA, the time of big online platforms behaving like they are ‘too big to care’ has come to an end,” declared EU Commissioner Thierry Breton.

“We will now start an in-depth investigation of X’s compliance with the DSA obligations concerning countering the dissemination and amplification of illegal content and disinformation in the EU, transparency of the platforms and design of the user interface,” the Frenchman added.

Previously, Breton warned Musk “you can run but you can’t hide” when he ditched a supposedly voluntary EU code of conduct. This had required the South African to boost so-called “authoritative sources” and “empower the fact-checking community”.

Non-compliance with the DSA, which mandates censorious content moderation and action against supposed “disinformation”, is punishable with mammoth fines or even a ban on operating in the EU.

Empire State Building Lit Up in Colors of Islamist Dictatorship Which Funds Hamas.

New York’s Empire State Building was lit up in the colors of the State of Qatar from midnight Sunday until sunrise on December 18th, to celebrate the Islamist dictatorship’s national day. Qatar is a state sponsor of global terrorism and even funds and houses Hamas leaders.

The iconic building is owned by the Empire State Realty Trust. The trust is run by Anthony Malkin, who has donated tens of thousands of dollars mainly to Democratic politicians, including Chuck Schumer and John Fetterman. Another 10 percent of the trust was acquired by the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) in 2016. The QIA is owned and controlled by the Qatari state.

Qatar is ruled by an emir with dictatorial powers and boasts a legal system based on sharia law. The decision to honor it therefore met with considerable backlash on social media.

The Empire State Realty Trust previously refused to light the building in gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness in 2021. The American Childhood Cancer Organization confirmed the trust has been rejecting similar requests for almost a decade in September 2023. It has also rejected a request to light the building in Polish colors for Revolutionary War hero Casimir Pulaski.
