Don’t Watch the Democrats Debate Tonight — Do This Instead

Can I be honest?

I really don’t care about the Democratic debate tonight on CNN. Like, at all. We know what’s going to happen. Hillary Clinton is going to be awful. Bernie Sanders is going to promise to give out a lot of free stuff. The rest of the weak field will show up. CNN will treat these candidates with way more respect than they did the Republican field. And the whole thing will be pretty uneventful.

Yawn.

So here’s a suggestion: watch a doubleheader of playoff baseball instead.

Tonight is Game 4 of the Chicago Cubs/St. Louis Cardinals National League Division Series. The Cubs currently lead 2-1 and have a chance to advance tonight to the National League Championship.

Following that game, the Los Angeles Dodgers are playing the New York Mets, who lead the Dodgers 2-1. The Mets can advance to face the winner of Cubs/Cards with a win tonight.

Watch baseball instead. Trust me, you won’t regret your decision.
