President Trump has inspired record-breaking satisfaction among Americans and unprecedented confidence in personal finances and the economy, according to a new Gallup Poll.
Overturning a 40-year record, 90 percent of Americans are now “satisfied” or “very satisfied” with their lives, and nearly two-thirds feel the latter, breaking another, 20-year record.
The poll attributes the unmatched satisfaction to “confidence in the U.S. economy and personal finances at long-term or record highs.”
That’s directly correlated to President Trump’s populist economic agenda, centered on reviving the American working class by reinvigorating the manufacturing base by confronting, not appeasing, China and protecting workers from immigration-induced wage suppression.
It’s no wonder why economic confidence is at its highest point in over 2 decades, +40, and nearly 7 out of 10 Americans feel it’s “a good time to find a quality job.”
Optimism over personal finances is similarly strong.
The 59 percent of Americans who are “better off financially than they were a year ago” beats the all-time high in January 1999 during the dot-com boom.
In most polls from 2001 to 2018, the percentage was stuck under 50 percent, experiencing a record low of 23 percent under the Obama presidency in 2009.
Additionally, nearly 3 in 4 Americans predict “they will be better off financially a year from now,” breaking Gallup’s record dating all the way back to 1977.
This comes on the heels of a Rasmussen Report showing record-breaking belief that “President Trump has made America stronger,” put the country “on the right track” by reversing decades of managed decline, and released unbridled optimism in the country’s future.
Together, 93 percent of Republicans, 89 percent of Independents, and 86 percent of Democrats produce the 90 percent average – all three records in their own category. And such widespread success, especially among Independents, bodes well for President Trump entering 2020.
This poll is just the latest evidence President Trump has reoriented the country to benefit all American citizens, not just the elite.
While the establishment has sounded the alarm on almost all of his policies – tariffs were supposed to destroy the economy, NATO was to be decimated, and the wall wasn’t going to get built – the American people have spoken, rejecting the establishment’s lies and vindicating President Trump yet again.
