IN FULL

A 21-year-old man was arrested while carrying a shotgun, handgun, and several rounds of ammunition near the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington, during New Year’s Eve celebrations. According to the Seattle Police Department (SPD), bystanders became concerned when the man was seen sitting on a bench near the Pacific Science Center, gripping what appeared to be a partially concealed shotgun.

Law enforcement arrived at the scene around 7:20 PM on December 31 as New Year’s Eve revelers began to gather in the high-traffic area for the city’s fireworks show ringing in 2026. Seattle police were able to approach and detain the armed man without incident.

Witnesses described him as wearing all black clothing and a red hat with “WAR” printed on it. Alongside the shotgun, police discovered he was also carrying a handgun and had a valid concealed pistol license. Additionally, detectives from the Criminal Intelligence Unit and the Arson Bomb Squad searched the suspect’s nearby vehicle. No additional weapons or explosives were found, and the vehicle was deemed safe.

However, the man was booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of unlawful use of weapons. Meanwhile, the Emergency Services Unit, responsible for campus security at the Seattle Center, issued the man a one-year trespass warning. The case was referred to the Seattle City Attorney’s Office for potential charges.

WATCH: Kamala Pledged to ‘Enter Gun Owners’ Homes’ & Place Them on Watchlist.

An anti-2nd Amendment video of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris from 2007 has emerged online, showing her stating that she would support law enforcement entering people’s “locked homes” to check on how they are storing their firearms and place offenders on a watchlist.

Harris, who was serving as the district attorney of San Francisco at the time, discussed the possibility of law enforcement entering gun owners’ locked homes to ensure proper weapon storage while delivering remarks with then-Mayor Gavin Newsom regarding the city’s new gun-control law.

“Just because you legally possess a gun in the sanctity of your locked home doesn’t mean that we’re not going to walk into that home and check to see if you’re being responsible and safe in the way you conduct your affairs,” Harris states, adding: “When we create laws, it’s not only about creating an opportunity to prosecute someone for committing a crime but more importantly when we legislate our values, it’s about trying to encourage certain types of behavior.”

At the same conference, Harris expressed support for a requirement that known gun offenders be placed on a government registry, similar to sex offenders and gang members. “We need to monitor where they live, have them check in from time to time, and let us know where they are,” Harris said.

The NRA criticized Harris after the video resurfaced, asserting that she “wants mass gun confiscation” and would “weaponize the government” to seize legally owned firearms.

‘Mass Shootings’ Are Up 44% Under Biden.

Mass shootings have surged during Biden’s presidency, with a projected total of 2,462 incidents by the end of 2024, according to the Gun Violence Archive. This marks a staggering 44.32 percent increase compared to the 1,706 mass shootings that occurred during Trump’s four years in office.

The Gun Violence Archive defines a mass shooting as an incident where four or more people are shot and/or killed, excluding the shooter. This consistent definition allows for accurate tracking and comparison of gun violence incidents across different time periods.

Key Figures:

  • Trump’s Term (2017-2020):
    • 2017: 347
    • 2018: 335
    • 2019: 414
    • 2020: 610
    • Total: 1,706
  • Biden’s Term (2021-2024, projected):
    • 2021: 689
    • 2022: 646
    • 2023: 656
    • 2024 (projected): 471
    • Total: 2,462

The increase is underscored by the carnage in most Democrat-run cities in America, with most gun crime victims either known to their assailants or gang violence or robbery

Supreme Court Overturns Bump Stock Ban.

The U.S. Supreme Court has invalidated a ban on bump stocks instituted in 2017 following a mass shooting in Las Vegas. The decision was reached by a 6-3 vote, with the majority concluding that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) had exceeded its statutory authority by categorizing bump stocks as machine guns.

The dissent was led by left-wing Justice Sonia Sotomayor, joined by Justices Elena Kagan and the far-left Ketanji Brown Jackson.

The case originated from a challenge by Michael Cargill, a Texas gun shop owner, supported by the New Civil Liberties Alliance, an advocacy group linked to libertarian financier Charles Koch. The ban had made possession or sale of bump stocks punishable by prison time.

Bump stocks increase firing speeds by sliding the stock back and forth, facilitating rapid trigger pulls, which does not meet the definition of a machine gun.

EXC: Rep. Gaetz Blasts ‘Tyrannical’ Gun Grab Law Exposed By The National Pulse.

Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz (R) has blasted proposed legislation unearthed by The National Pulse, which could see firearm ranges and neighborhood patrols criminalized as part of a move by Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) and Senator Ed Markey (D-MA) to nullify America’s Second Amendment further.

Responding to the story from Monday morning, Rep. Gaetz said: “Democrats in Congress have decided that two’s a crowd and three’s an ‘unlawful paramilitary organization.’”

“Under this proposed tyrannical decree, any three Americans who organize to train or drill in firearm safety or security may face criminal or civil targeting by a weaponized DOJ.”

“This insane legislation offends the Second Amendment, which unambiguously supports a well-regulated militia of free citizens. I guarantee that I and other pro-2A members of Congress will fight to kill it,” concluded the firebrand Congressman.

The legislation’s House (H.R.6981) and Senate (S.3589) versions were introduced recently. Both sit in the Judiciary Committees of their respective chambers. Congressional Democrats claim the legislation is meant to enhance the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) ability to prosecute organized, armed groups who engage in violence and intimidation. However, Rep. Raskin, the lead House sponsor, has also acknowledged the Democrat bill could be used against private militias “[p]atrolling neighborhoods.”

SCOTUS Considers Bump Stock Ban Challenge.

The Supreme Court recently heard oral arguments related to the federal ban on bump stocks, devices that can enable semi-automatic rifles to be fired at a more rapid pace. This federal ban was instituted under former President Donald Trump’s administration by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Owners of such devices were instructed to either destroy them or surrender them to an ATF office. The ban was part of a review of these devices initiated after a mass shooting in Las Vegas in 2017. The main contention of the challenge is whether the ATF overstepped its authority in 2018 when it reclassified bump stocks as “machine guns” under the National Firearms Act.

Several conservative Supreme Court justices have expressed concern about the federal ban on the devices. Justice Brett Kavanaugh expressed apprehension about individuals being subject to prosecution under a ban they may not be aware of. Justice Amy Coney Barrett questioned whether Congress would more appropriately address the issue. This joins a broader theme of the court’s conservative justices aiming to limit the power of federal agencies in recent years. However, the court’s three liberal justices focused on the comparison between rifles equipped with bump stocks and machine guns in terms of potential misuse.

Justice Elena Kagan pointed out the importance of interpreting laws in a common-sensical way when they aren’t explicitly clear. She mentioned this in the context of the statute that bans machine guns, saying it “comprehends” a weapon that “fires a multitude of shots with a single human action.” Meanwhile, Justice Kavanaugh raised issues about individuals potentially being prosecuted under the ban without even being aware of its existence.

New Mexico’s Gov Suspends Gun Rights, Says Constitutional Oath ‘Not Absolute’.

New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, issued an emergency order on Friday suspending the right to carry guns in public across Albuquerque and the surrounding Bernalillo County for at least 30 days. The decision comes in response to recent instances of gun violence, including the shooting death of an 11-year-old boy outside a minor league baseball stadium earlier this week. The order, classified as an emergency public health order, applies to open and concealed carry in most public places, excluding police and licensed security guards. Violators could face civil penalties and fines up to $5,000.

Quizzed on the unconstitutionality of the order, Grisham stunningly responded: “No constitutional right, in my view, including my oath, is intended to be absolute.”

Grisham acknowledged her order will face legal challenges, with Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen stating concerns over violating constitutional rights and potential civil liability conflicts for his deputies.

This latest order follows a series of gun control measures signed by Governor Lujan Grisham, including a “red flag” law and a ban on gun possession for domestic violence offenders. As part of the emergency order, state regulators will conduct monthly inspections of firearms dealers statewide to ensure compliance with gun laws. The state Department of Health will also conduct a report on gunshot victims in New Mexico hospitals, aiming to gather demographic and firearm-related data to inform future policies.

David Hogg’s New Campaign to Get More Losers Like Him In Congress.

Anti-gun activist David Hogg is launching a new political action committee (PAC), which will support getting far-left activists under the age of 35 into federal office, and under-30s into state office. His new ‘Leaders We Deserve’ PAC is planning to target Democrat-held seats in the run-up to the 2024 presidential primaries, and provide financial resources and coaching to nominees.

The PAC-backed candidates will be selected based on their participation in social movements that started during Donald Trump’s first presidential term, such as the Women’s March, the David Hogg-led March for Our Lives, the environmental movement, and Black Lives Matter (BLM).

He also states the main focus of the PAC is to “help turn the tide against this far-right tsunami” spreading across the United States and making Generation Z lose faith in democracy.

“We can work to fix it and make it better as a generation,” Hogg asserts.

Brazil’s Leftist Prez Restricts Gun Rights After Dodgy Election.

Far-left Brazilian President Luiz da Silva has signed a presidential decree restricting civilian access to firearms after the country witnessed increased gun ownership under former President Jair Bolsonaro.

The decision – nicknamed “responsible arms control” – will severely limit guns and ammunition stockpiles, the opening hours of shooting ranges, prohibit certain weapons, including nine-millimeter handguns, and require those purchasing firearms to demonstrate why they need them.

Silva, known as “Lula”, announced the new decree, arguing only government and state authorities need firearms, restricting the average Brazilians’ freedom and ability to defend themselves.

“We cannot allow gun arsenals to be in people’s hands.”

— Lula

“We will continue to fight for fewer weapons in our country. Only the police and the army must be well-armed,” he added.

The number of gun licenses issued increased to 2.9 million under former President Bolsonaro, with increased possession not leading to a rise in violent crime or homicides as was initially suggested by many on the left, reports DW.
