Trump Criticizes ‘Jilted’ MTG for ‘60 Minutes’ Comments.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: President Donald J. Trump criticized Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) following her comments on 60 Minutes and her decision to resign from Congress.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: President Trump, Rep. Greene, and Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Greene’s resignation is expected in January, following her recent televised interview.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The only reason Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown (Green turns Brown under stress!) went BAD is that she was JILTED by the President of the United States.” – Donald Trump

🎯IMPACT: The remarks underscore growing tensions between Trump and Greene, whose resignation could jeopardize the GOP’s slim majority in the House of Representatives.

IN FULL

President Donald J. Trump sharply criticized Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) following her 60 Minutes interview this past weekend and her announcement that she would resign from Congress. Greene is set to leave her seat in January amid multiple clashes with Trump, citing disputes over the Jeffrey Epstein files and Israel. During the interview, Greene criticized Trump’s foreign policy and meetings with figures such as New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani (D) and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and said she was “America First,” not “MAGA,” as “MAGA is President Trump’s phrase. That’s his political policies.”

“The only reason Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown (Green turns Brown under stress!) went BAD is that she was JILTED by the President of the United States (Certainly not the first time she has been jilted!),” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Too much work, not enough time, and her ideas are, NOW, really BAD – She sort of reminds me of a Rotten Apple! Marjorie is not AMERICA FIRST or MAGA, because nobody could have changed her views so fast, and her new views are those of a very dumb person.”

Trump also attacked 60 Minutes and its correspondent Lesley Stahl, declaring, “[W]ashed up, Trump hating, 60 Minutes ‘correspondent,’ Lesley Stahl, who still owes me an apology from when she attacked me on the show (with serious conviction!), that Hunter Biden’s LAPTOP FROM HELL was produced by Russia, not Hunter himself (TOTALLY PROVEN WRONG!), interviewed a very poorly prepared Traitor, who in her confusion made many really stupid statements.”

He went on to question the program’s choice to air the interview, stating, “My real problem with the show, however, wasn’t the low IQ traitor, it was that the new ownership of 60 Minutes, Paramount, would allow a show like this to air. THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN THE OLD OWNERSHIP, who just paid me millions of Dollars for FAKE REPORTING about your favorite President, ME! Since they bought it, 60 Minutes has actually gotten WORSE! Oh well, far worse things can happen.”

Rep. Greene has previously complained that Trump calling her a “traitor,” arguing that it may “radicalize people against me and put my life in danger.” Notably, Greene’s resignation from Congress endangers the GOP’s slim majority in the House of Representatives—and, by extension, the President’s policy agenda, which must already contend with a Democrat blocking minority in the Senate.

Trump ended his post about the interview by demanding an apology from Stahl and 60 Minutes for its role in the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, writing, “P.S. I hereby demand a complete and total APOLOGY, though far too late to be meaningful, from Lesley Stahl and 60 Minutes for her incorrect and Libelous statements about Hunter’s Laptop!!! President DJT.”

CBS Has Agreed to Pay Trump Millions for Doctoring Kamala Harris Interview.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Paramount has agreed to settle President Donald J. Trump’s lawsuit against CBS, paying $16 million over a doctored Kamala Harris interview.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: President Trump, Paramount, CBS, Kamala Harris, Shari Redstone, David Ellison.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Reported July 2025, United States

💬KEY QUOTE: “CBS and Paramount Global realized the strength of this historic case and had no choice but to settle,” said a spokesman for Trump’s legal team.

🎯IMPACT: Paramount will pay Trump $16 million and release future interview transcripts, while its merger with Skydance remains under FCC review.

IN FULL

Paramount has agreed to pay $16 million to settle a lawsuit filed by President Donald Trump over a doctored 60 Minutes interview with 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris. Previews of the interview showed disjointed “word salad” answers on foreign policy, but were changed by CBS for shorter, more coherent answers when the interview aired in full.

The settlement includes Trump’s legal fees and costs, and the remaining amount will go toward his presidential library, according to Paramount. The company will also begin releasing full transcripts of 60 Minutes interviews with eligible presidential candidates after they air, with redactions only for legal or national security reasons.

Paramount’s chairwoman, Shari Redstone, supported pursuing a settlement. Analysts speculate that this may have been related to the company’s pending merger with Skydance, which requires Trump administration approval via the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). However, FCC Chairman Brendan Carr has said the lawsuit had no bearing on the merger review process.

This is the second multi-million-dollar settlement Trump has secured this year. Several months ago, ABC News paid $15m in a defamation case against George Stephanopoulos, who falsely claimed Trump was found “liable” for rape during a civil proceeding.

Trump Rejects CBS Offer to Settle $20bn Election Interference Lawsuit.

PULSE POINTS:

❓What Happened: President Donald J. Trump rejected a $15 million settlement offer from CBS News in his $20 billion election interference lawsuit, demanding $25 million and a public apology for a deceptively edited Kamala Harris interview in 2024.

👥 Who’s Involved: President Trump, CBS News, Paramount Global, Skydance Media, and the FCC.

📍 Where & When: Arbitration negotiations, with the rejection reported on May 29, 2025.

⚠️ Impact: Trump’s hardline stance may disrupt CBS’s plans for an $8 billion merger with Skydance Media, which requires FCC approval.

IN FULL:

President Donald J. Trump has rejected a $15 million settlement offer from CBS News in his $20 billion election interference lawsuit against them. The America First leader, who initially filed a $10 billion suit late last year before doubling it, is demanding at least $25 million and an apology for election meddling in 2024.

The lawsuit stems from CBS’s 60 Minutes broadcast during the 2024 presidential race, where the network deceptively edited an interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris to make her appear more coherent. By removing a previously previewed “word salad” response about Israel from their final broadcast and interview transcript, CBS is alleged to have deceived the public and violated its duty to report honestly on publicly owned airwaves.

The rejection comes as Paramount Global, CBS’s parent company, is desperate to finalize an $8 billion merger with Skydance Media—a deal that requires Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approval. Skydance will not move forward until the lawsuit is settled.

Moreover, Trump is reportedly considering a second suit—this time for defamation—after a recent 60 Minutes segment compared him to a “mob boss.”

WATCH: FCC Releases Kamala’s Full, Word Salad 60 Minutes Interview After Trump Complaint.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has released former Vice President Kamala Harris’s full interview with 60 Minutes. This comes after President Donald J. Trump filed a complaint against CBS News for deceptively editing the video and transcript of the interview to make her appear more cogent.

The video appears to prove President Trump’s accusations correct, with several rambling, “word salad” answers from Harris in the raw footage having been excised from the finished product.

A written transcript of the interview has also been released.

Kamala Harris Was Asked Why She And Joe Are So Unpopular. Her Answer? Gibberish, Of Course.

Asked why her and Joe Biden are so unpopular, Vice President Kamala Harris bizarrely responded to CBS’s 60 Minutes on Sunday:

“If you poll how young people feel about the climate, and the warming of our planet it polls as one of their top concerns. When we talk about what we are doing with student loan debt… polls very high. The challenge that we have as an administration is we gotta let people know who brung it to ’em. That’s our challenge.”

CBS found that less than 50 percent of young people say President Biden is doing a good job, down 20 percent from the start of his term. Harris, of course, cackled through her unrelated response, perhaps most appropriately noting during the interview that she isn’t even at the level of a “political pundit” in terms of understanding former President Donald Trump’s popularity against Biden.

“I’m not a political pundit, so I’m not gonna speak to that. But what I will say is this: When the American people are able to take a close look at election time on their options, I think the choice is gonna be clear. … We’re gonna win. And I’m not saying it’s gonna be easy. But we will win. I have no doubt.”

Recent polls show Trump beating Biden if a general election were held today.
