DeSantis Influencers Say They’ll Write-In Pro-Abortion, Anti-Gun RFK If Trump Wins Primary.

A number of Ron DeSantis supporters have taken to social media to announce they will vote for Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. before they unify behind Donald Trump, despite the DeSantis camp pitching the Florida Governor as a facsimile of Trump with less “baggage” and more “effective” administration.

“Since I have been reliably told for months by Trump supporters that they would write him in even if DeSantis or anyone else won the GOP primary, it’s good to have permission to support RFK in the general if DeSantis doesn’t win the GOP primary,” wrote DeSantis booster Scott Morefield, a blogger for the Townhall.com website. Townhall is owned by the Salem Media Group, which also owns the pro-DeSantis RedState, Twitchy, and other legacy “Conservative Inc” blog sites.

Other DeSantis supporters were quick to agree with Morefield, raising questions as to whether or not they are, in fact, Republican voters at all. Many pro-DeSantis activists on social media are anonymous, newly-created accounts.

“You nailed it Scott. These are the new rules,” said one.

“As long as Trump is not supporting the primary winner, neither am I if it’s him,” seethed another.

“They’re both Liberals, so I might as well go for a honest liberal who can’t be easily corrupted,” concurred a third.

Others, however, weren’t so keen on the new tactic of embracing the pro-abortion, anti-Second Amendment RFK Jr, with user John Ament replying, “We all knew you were a liberal.”

RJK Jr. has won some admirers on the right for his opposition to the medical establishment – including DeSantis himself – he is a fundamentally left-wing politician who supports greater gun control, and shared an article in favor of repealing the Second Amendment altogether. RFK Jr. has stated he would not support abortion restrictions after three months because it is “always the woman’s right to choose” whether to kill her unborn baby.

RFK Jr. is also on record as saying he believes he would take more votes from Trump than Biden as a third-party candidate.

EXC: Trump Commits to Walking Away from Abortion Negotiations With Radical Dems, Blasts Those Raising Money Off the Issue.

President Donald J. Trump explained his perspective on the national abortion debate in America, as well as committing to walking away from Democrats if they were unwilling to negotiate on the matter in good faith, in comments made during an exclusive interview with The National Pulse’s Editor-in-Chief Raheem Kassam.

“You’re putting this thing forward now on abortion to say, hey, listen, the country is sick of having this argument all the time. They actually want a solution to it… But if the Democrats come back to you and say, no, we’re not interested in a deal with you, are you willing to then say, well, look, we tried, now these Republicans are going to do what they’re going to do?” Kassam asked.

“Sure, oh sure, sure,” Trump replied, adding: “[T]he Democrats are the radicals because they’re willing, remember, I said during my debate with Hillary… [to] rip the baby out of the womb in the seventh, eighth, ninth month. And that really shook people up… I said she’s willing to rip the baby out of the womb.”

“I think something can happen,” Trump went on, “This is an issue that’s been going on for 52 years. I was able to end it. That gave tremendous negotiating power to the pro-life movement, tremendous negotiating power, because they can’t do the things that they used to be able to do. The pro-life was fighting it. We have these groups fighting this thing for so many decades, but it’s exactly 52 years as of a date in the not too distant future. And that’s a long time. Everybody’s raising money all the time. Everybody. I don’t know, maybe it’s some kind of a business. I don’t know what’s going on, but a lot of money. Everybody was amazed that I was able to do it and I put them in a great negotiating position and we don’t want to blow it. This is an incredible thing that happened. And we also bring it back to the states, which everybody, all legal scholars, both sides wanted it brought back to the states. We did a lot of things. We’re in a tremendous position to negotiate something very good right now. And we’ll see what that is.”

Trump’s commitment to walking around from intransigent Democrats flies in the face of what his opponents in the Republican primary have claimed since his interview with Meet The Press, that is, that the man who almost single-handedly ended Roe v Wade is somehow now pro-abortion. The 45th’s President’s comment on the “business” of the pro-life lobby is likely to rankle those who have profiteered off the matter for decades, achieving precisely nothing until the Trump administration, besides the fattening of their own wallets.

pro life activists jail

Biden DOJ Throws Elderly Pro-Life Activists Behind Bars.

A federal grand jury in Washington, D.C. convicted three individuals for “…a felony conspiracy against rights and a FACE Act offense” for protesting an abortion clinic – suspected of providing illegal late-term abortions – in the city. Two two of the defendants, Jean Marshall and Joan Bell are over 70 years old.

The FACE Act is a Clinton-era law prohibiting protestors from physically blocking access to an abortion clinic, crisis pregnancy center, or place of religious worship. Since the Supreme Court handed down its decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization – effectively overturning Roe v. Wade and returning the abortion question to the states – President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) has stepped up FACE Act prosecutions of pro-life protestors, seemingly in revenge.

According to the DOJ, Marshall, Bell, and the third defendant – 41 year old Jonathan Darnel – each face “a maximum of 11 years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a fine of up to $350,000.” For Marshall and Bell, the maximum prison sentence would be tantamount to a life sentence in prison for an over-exuberant protest.

In late August, five other pro-life activists were convicted of violating the FACE Act during the same protest. One of the protestors, Lauren Handy, had contacted the Washington Metropolitan Police Department after she removed five aborted fetuses from the clinic’s medical waste. According to Handy, the fetuses showed advanced stages of development indicating the clinic was engaging in late-term abortion – barred by federal law. The Washington D.C. medical examiner’s office said they had no plans to autopsy the fetuses. No charges against the clinic were pursued.

trump's record on abortion

Trump’s Record on Abortion is Pretty Outstanding, Actually.

Critics of former President Donald J. Trump have suggested his approach to abortion is less than desired, citing clipped videos from an interview with Meet the Press, and fundamentally attempting to misrepresent his position and history on the subject.

The self-declared “most pro life president in US history” explained that he now prefers to leave the matter up to the states, and to “sit down with both sides… and negotiate something, and we’ll end up with peace on that issue for the first time in 52 years.”

This, after all, was the entire point of the Dobbs ruling, and indeed the U.S. Constitution. But critics who now demand a federal ban have turned on Trump in recent days. Those same critics, hardly coincidentally, are also vocal supporters of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s presidential aspirations.

Using an issue like abortion in a primary against Trump is not just underhanded, it’s also embarrassing for them when confronted with Trump’s record.

1. Roe v. Wade

Trump’s most notable achievement on abortion actually came after he left office. Namely, to have the United States Supreme Court remove Roe v Wades constitutional protections in June 2022, by having appointed several conservative justices to the court.

Indeed, Trump oversaw the appointment of over 150 conservative justices while President, including 43 U.S. Court of Appeals judges and 99 District Court judges. Roe’s overturning alone makes him the most pro-life president in U.S. history, but the ruling itself  Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization – itself guarantees the matter is returned to the people’s representatives, not federal agencies.

2. Removing Support and Funding for Planned Parenthood.

The Trump administration permitted states to defund Planned Parenthood of Title X funds in 2019, leading to a 63 percent reduction in “family planning” visits as well as a $809.4 million funding cut from the program. The move was recognized as a “major policy win for social conservatives looking to prohibit access to abortion.”

The former President overturned Obama-era and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) rules to allow states to withhold or cut funding for Planned Parenthood within the first few months of his presidential term in 2017.

Trump also made it a requirement for health insurance companies to disclose if plans cover abortion and even canceled huge contracts for taxpayer-funded experimentation with body parts of aborted babies.

3. Department of Health for Human Services.

Trump introduced a new division at the HHS devoted to “conscience and religious freedom” in 2018, enabling healthcare workers to refuse to undertake specific roles, such as birth control or abortion, based on their religious convictions.

Under his oversight, the HHS published an updated five-year plan between 2018-2022, in which it dedicated its operations to “protecting the life of all Americans at every stage of life, beginning at conception.”

4. Changing America’s International Stance on Abortion.

The Trump administration cut off all overseas funding for abortions and announced that there is no international right to abortion at a United Nations meeting in 2019.

The U.S., under Trump’s leadership, further removed funding for the pro-abortion United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), which has been “complicit in China’s oppressive population control activities, including birth limitation policies and forced abortions,” according to SBA Pro-life America.

That primary challengers would now try to hurl accusations of being “pro abortion” at Trump is self-evidently ludicrous. Especially since none of them were complaining when the above achievements were being racked up.

It speaks to something far darker at the heart of Never Trumpism, to use an issue like this as a cudgel against a man with the best record of any president, living or dead.

DeSantis Spox Pushaw Attacks Pro-Life Stalwart Frank Pavone On Abortion.

Ron DeSantis’s “rapid response director”, Christina Pushaw, has viciously attacked a leading pro-life campaigner – Frank Pavone – for supporting Donald Trump, saying it “makes sense” that he is no longer a priest after a campaign by the far-left saw the Vatican defrock him for being an outspoken conservative.

Pavone, 64, is one of the highest-profile pro-life campaigners in America, and as director of the Priests for Life group was one of the highest profile Catholic clergyman in America prior to being removed from the priesthood. Pushaw, despite claiming to be a pro-life Catholic, now says she had never heard of him.

Pushaw is best known for her libertarian political positions and work as a registered foreign agent for a top Zelensky ally. She is close friends with homosexual surrogate fathers Dave Rubin and his “husband” David Janet, and has declared herself as “in favor of” illegal immigrant “dreamers”. Despite this, she felt comfortable attacking Pavone for his support for Donald Trump.

The Vatican, under Jesuit liberal Pope Francis, long persecuted Pavone for his political views, ordering him to step down from the Catholics for Trump advisory board in 2020 and finally defrocking him in late 2022 for disobedience to his liberal bishop.

Pavone had often been critical of Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and other allegedly Catholic Democrats who promote abortion, and has described the bishops who lobbied against him as “Democrat loyalists”. Pavone’s supporters have often compared his harsh treatment by the Vatican to that of Rev. James Martin, another Jesuit whom the Pope has repeatedly promoted despite the fact he advocates for gay marriage and other LGBTQ priorities in defiance of Catholic teaching.

Pavone explained his position on Trump’s abortion remarks at length as Pushaw and the DeSantis campaign were attacking him, observing that Trump is “running a campaign in which he’s trying to help his party, our party, speak in a politically effective way on this issue.”

“Now, I’m not saying that justifies compromising morally – it doesn’t,” he continued. “You don’t compromise morally, you become politically wise. Jesus himself said it, you’ve got to be wise as serpents… because you look at what you’re trying to accomplish, you consider where your audience is, and you say, let me talk about this persuasively to lead them from point A to point B.”

Polls show Americans oppose abortion up to birth, supported by many Democrats and legal in Democrat-led Washington D.C. and multiple Democrat-led states – but only a minority support restrictions earlier than 12 weeks with no exceptions for rape.

EU Parliament Legislates for The Sale of Human Embryos.

Members of the European Parliament have voted overwhelmingly in favor of a new “Substances of Human Origin” (SoHO) framework, which permits the sale of human embryos and degrades human life to be the equivalent of any other cells or tissue.

The measures are set to regulate the supply and donations of so-called “substances,” such as blood, cells, and tissue, used for medically assisted reproduction as well as other procedures, including transfusions and transplants. They also allow people to receive “compensation or reimbursement for losses or expenses incurred” when making a donation.

The measures passed in the parliament by 483 votes to 52 on Tuesday, despite amendments proposed by conservatives to prevent the use of fetuses for financial gain being voted down. Those who voted in favor also ignored the appeals made by the Commission of Bishops’ Conferences of the European Union, which argued: “Human life is not just a ‘substance of human origin’…human life from the beginning, including unborn life ‘possesses its own dignity, right, and independent right of protection.'”

Director of the NBIC Ethics think tank, Laetitia Pouliquen, also warned after the vote passed that it would create a “highest-bidder body and fertility market” across the continent.

The new framework will be sent to the European Council, with further discussions to start at the beginning of the next year.

Biden Blows $25M Pro-Abortion Election Ads.

President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign is set to launch a new digital ad campaign targeting former President Donald Trump and other Republican presidential candidates for their so-called “hardline” abortion stances. The ad buy comes as Biden’s poll numbers have declined, with voters becoming increasingly concerned about his age and lagging enthusiasm amongst Democrats.

The ad blasts Trump for appointing three U.S. Supreme Court justices who voted to overturn Roe v. Wade, as well as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for signing into law a six week abortion ban. It will run on television and YouTube in three states that recently enacted strong pro-life laws – Florida, South Dakota, and Iowa – as part of a larger $25 million media blitz.

The Biden campaign aims to make abortion access central its reelection pitch, hoping to drive a wedge between pro-life Republicans and less socially conservative moderate voters. The Trump campaign has been cautious when discussing abortion on the campaign trail, with some polls showing Republican support for strict abortion bans being partially to blame for the lackluster 2022 midterm results.

Former President Trump has stated he believes the Supreme Court was correct to over-turn Roe v. Wade, leaving state governments to decide how to regulate abortion. On the question of federal legislation banning abortion access, Trump has said there needs to be a conversation among Americans and that any legislation would be the result of negotiations between those on both sides of the issue. The former President has also said he believes Republicans should support exceptions in cases of rape, incest, and when the life of the mother is in danger.

Psaki Claims: ‘No One Supports Abortion Until Birth’ Despite Democrat States Legalizing It.

White House Press Secretary turned MSNBC talking head Jen Psaki blatantly lied on Wednesday, during the Republican debate, claiming: “No one supports abortion up until birth”. The X (formerly Twitter) post came despite multiple Democrat politicians being on the record as supporting “no limits” on terminations, and multiple Democrat states moving to legislate on the same time frame.

Senior politicians including Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, Senator John Fetterman, Senator Bernie Sanders, Senator Ben Cardin, and New York City Mayor Eric Adams have all told reporters the decision to kill an unborn baby should be left up to the mother, perhaps with input from a physician, throughout pregnancy.

There is already no “gestational limit” on abortion in the Democrat-run American capital of Washington D.C. and the Democrat-run states of Colorado, New Jersey, Oregon, and Vermont also allow abortion up to birth.

Democrat-run New Mexico, meanwhile, has no abortion limit at the state level but some restrictions in some areas, introduced by “sanctuary cities for the unborn”.

Alaska, which is run by the Republicans, also has no abortion limit, due to the State Supreme Court ruling that restrictions violated the right to privacy in the 1990s.

As White House Press Secretary, Psaki herself said that Biden “supports the right of a woman to make choices about her own body” when asked if the President supports “any limits on abortion.”

Southwest Airlines Bullied a Christian Employee, Then The Media Attacked The Trump Judge Who Penalized Them.

The Washington Post is attacking the Trump-appointed justice Brantley Starr, who penalized Southwest Airlines for firing a Christian conservative, referring to it as an ‘extremist’ ruling that promoted a right-wing ‘reeducation program.’

U.S. District Judge Starr awarded former Southwest Airlines employee Charlene Carter $5 million after she was unfairly dismissed for speaking out against the company and its employees’ position on abortion and the Washington D.C. “women’s march.”

Her behavior was called “inappropriate, harassing, and offensive” and “crossed the boundaries of acceptable behavior” by the airline, and she was summarily fired.

Justice Starr found the decision violated her rights under federal law and discriminated against her as a result of her religious beliefs. He then ordered that three lawyers representing Southwest undergo “religious-liberty training” at the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) to ensure that they understand the importance of “preserving free speech and religious freedom.”

The decision has been met with fury by the media, calling it “outrageous, unconstitutional and an abuse of judicial authority.” The Post, continued:

“[T]he notion of subjecting lawyers to a reeducation campaign by the likes of the ADF is tantamount to creating a government-endorsed thought police.”

The newspaper went on the suggest that former President Donald Trump is somehow responsible for the decision, stating: “This is the alarming legacy that former president Donald Trump has left us — a skewed bench that he would augment if reelected.”

The case is now being appealed by Southwest Airlines, which routinely celebrates “gay pride” and openly supports Planned Parenthood.

BREAKING: Ohio Voters Unable to Scan Ballots, Told to ‘Come Back Later’.

Reports suggest ballot scanners in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio are not working – leaving voters unable to securely scan their completed ballot during today’s state-wide plebiscite that decides whether or not to amend the Ohio constitution. The issues appear similar to those faced by Republican, Kari Lake voters in Arizona’s Maricopa County last year.

Today’s Ohio amendment, if passed by a majority of voters, would change the state constitution to require future ballot-initiated amendments garner 60 percent of the vote in an election.

Ohio Republicans worry that without increasing the amendment threshold, radical abortion activists will be able to enshrine baby-killing rights into the state constitution during the November 7th elections. A pro-abortion amendment would allow for abortions to be procured in the state up to the point of fetal viability – the definition of viability is left up to each individual doctor meaning in some instances late term abortions up to the moment of birth.

Cuyahoga Falls, a city nestled between Cleveland and Akron, is considered a bellwether locality in Ohio, as the city maintains a fairly even partisan divide. Voters who are unable to scan their ballots are being told to place their ballots in a designated bag where they will be scanned once the machines are working or to void their ballot and come back later.

Aging ballot printers, some in a state of total disrepair, resulted in ballot shortages and difficulties printing and tabulating ballots in Arizona in 2022. The chaotic election administration in Maricopa County led to several legal challenges.
