READ: Dissenting Judge Goes Nuclear in Texas Redistricting Case.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: U.S. Circuit Court Judge Jerry Smith has posted his dissent in Tuesday’s federal case, which saw a three-judge panel halt Texas from implementing its newly approved congressional map for the 2026 midterm elections.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: U.S. Circuit Court Judges Jerry Smith and Jeffrey Brown, plaintiffs, and the State of Texas.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The ruling against Texas came down on Tuesday, with Judge Smith’s dissent posted online on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The main winners from Judge Brown’s opinion are George Soros and Gavin Newsom. The obvious losers are the People of Texas and the Rule of Law. I dissent.”

🎯IMPACT: While Judge Smith’s dissent will have little immediate impact, a number of the issues raised in the document could form the basis of the opinion being overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court.

IN FULL

U.S. Circuit Court Judge Jerry Smith has posted his dissent in Tuesday’s federal case, which saw a three-judge panel halt Texas from implementing its newly approved congressional map for the 2026 midterm elections. The majority, led by Trump-appointee Judge Jeffrey Brown, found supposedly compelling evidence that the redrawn districts amount to racial gerrymandering.

However, in his dissent, fellow appellate judge Jerry Smith takes Brown and his colleagues to task over their ruling and their reliance on testimony from supposed experts who are allegedly bought and paid for by George and Alex Soros. “I append this Preliminary Statement to dispel any suspicion that I’m responsible for any delay in issuing the preliminary injunction or that I am or saw slow-walking the ruling. I also need to highlight the pernicious judicial misbehavior of U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Vincent Brown.” Judge Smith begins his dissent, before plunging headlong into a 160-plus page scathing critique of both the panel’s jurisprudence and Judge Brown’s behavior.

“The main winners from Judge Brown’s opinion are George Soros and Gavin Newsom. The obvious losers are the People of Texas and the Rule of Law. I dissent,” the conservative appellate judge writes, continuing: “One of the plaintiffs’ top experts is Matt Barreto. He is a paid Soros operative and does not attempt to hide it. His CV confirms it. He expects to receive $2.5 million from George and Alexander Soros.” Judge Smith adds, “Soros has been pumping money into Barreto’s UCLA Voting Rights Project for years. And this steady supply of money won’t stop until 2026, at the earliest. Unsurprisingly, Barreto has been on quite a road show for years, parading across the country opposing Republican redistricting. That is the tip of the iceberg. The lawyers are involved as well.”

“To his credit, the lead counsel for plaintiffs does not try to hide it, either. Chad Dunn acknowledged so in open court—he works with Barreto at the same Voting Rights Project that receives Soros funding,” Judge Smith notes, before moving on to Mark Elias’s involvement: “It does not stop there. The Elias Law Group draws from the Soros coffers, too. Counsel for the instant Gonzales plaintiffs, David Fox, is a partner at Elias, which ‘has collected more than $104 million’ from Democrat Party committees and donors, including Mr. Soros. Firm Chair Marc Elias formed entities, ‘tucked inside large existing nonprofits,” that “raised tens of millions of dollars from some of the richest donors on the left—including from foundations funded by Mr. Soros.'”

“On a silver platter, Judge Brown hands Soros a victory at the expense of the People of Texas and the Rule of Law. Judge Brown won’t tell you that. I just did,” Judge Smith states. The entire dissent is worth reading, albeit it is, as Judge Smith admits, very long.

Trump Floats RICO Charges for Soros After Charlie Kirk Assassination.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: President Donald J. Trump announced potential federal charges against billionaire plutocrat and far-left financier George Soros, suggesting a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act case.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: President Trump, George Soros, and Trump administration officials.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Trump’s remarks were made on Friday, September 12, 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: “We’re going to look into Soros because I think it’s a RICO case against him and other people, because this is more than protests. This is real agitation; this is riots on the street—and we’re going to look into that.” — President Trump

🎯IMPACT: The President’s remarks signal a possible federal crackdown on far-left organizations like Antifa and their financial backers.

IN FULL

President Donald J. Trump signalled his administration may soon begin investigations into far-left organizations like Antifa and their financial backers, including infamous Hungarian billionaire George Soros and his son Alex. Speaking during a television interview on Friday, President Trump stated, “We’re going to look into Soros because I think it’s a RICO case against him and other people because this is more than protests. This is real agitation; this is riots on the street—and we’re going to look into that.”

Trump’s comments follow previous suggestions of charging the Soros family under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, particularly for alleged involvement in funding violent opposition to federal immigration enforcement actions and National Guard deployments assisting in crime crackdowns.

Soros’s Open Society Foundation (OSF) responded by denying any support for violent protests, calling the prosecution threats “outrageous.” The foundation claims it has consistently maintained a stance against violence.

This is not the first time President Trump has singled out George and Alex Soros as possible subjects of a RICO investigation. In an August post on Truth Social, Trump wrote: “George Soros, and his Wonderful Radical Left son, should be charged with RICO because of their support of Violent Protests, and much more, all throughout the United States of America. We’re not going to allow these lunatics to rip apart America any more, never giving it so much as a chance to ‘BREATHE,’ and be FREE.”

According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), the federal RICO statute—established in 1970—aims to eliminate organized crime’s infiltration into legitimate organizations. It is broad enough to address illegal activities impacting interstate or foreign commerce. Notably, Soros’s Open Society Foundations have financially supported groups involved in contentious protests and rallies, including one advocating for an accused MS-13 gang member.

Soros’s network has provided millions in funding to organizations such as CASA and Human Rights First, which have been involved in pro-illegal immigrant advocacy and lawsuits against Trump administration policies. Open Society Foundations also allegedly funneled significant funds to groups linked to anti-Israel protests, including those justifying Hamas’s October 7, 2023, terror attacks on Israel.

Soros’s foundations have reportedly funneled over $15 million to groups behind anti-Israel protests since 2016, including $13.7 million through the Tides Center.

In a post on Truth Social, President Donald J. Trump accused George Soros and his son, Alex Soros, of financially supporting violent protests across the United States, calling for them to be prosecuted under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.

Alex Soros Criticizes Climate Group for Fixation on ‘Palestine.’

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: Alex Soros, heir to billionaire plutocrat George Soros, criticized the Sunrise Movement for diverging from its environmentalist goals to focus on “Palestine.”

👥 Who’s Involved: Alex Soros, Sunrise Movement, George Soros, Democracy PAC, Sixteen-Thirty Fund.

📍 Where & When: United States, during and after the 2020 election season.

💬 Key Quote: “We gave them money, and now all they do is talk about Palestine. It’s ridiculous.” — Alex Soros

⚠️ Impact: The controversy led to accusations of antisemitism against the Sunrise Movement for boycotting events with Zionist Jewish groups and called into question the use of funds by Soros-backed organizations.

IN FULL:

Alex Soros, son of billionaire plutocrat George Soros and current chairman of his Open Society Foundations activism empire, has publicly voiced dissatisfaction with the Sunrise Movement. In an interview, Alex Soros expressed frustration over the environmentalist group’s focus on Israel and the Palestinians rather than climate change.

“What the hell did they do, by the way?” he said of the group, which receives around a third of its funding from Soros-supported entities. “We gave them money, and now all they do is talk about Palestine. It’s ridiculous.”

The Sunrise Movement, which publicly identifies its mission as attacking fossil fuels, received $750,000 during the 2020 election period from sources associated with Soros. However, tensions have since emerged between the group and its billionaire funder due to recent controversies involving its Washington, D.C. chapter.

In October 2021, the D.C. branch of Sunrise Movement declined participation in a rally for D.C. statehood, citing the involvement of certain Jewish organizations known for their support of Israel. This decision was met with significant backlash, including accusations of anti-Semitism, due to the group’s call to exclude what it described as “Zionist” groups.

While George Soros is ethnically Jewish, the liberal atheist has not historically been a supporter of the Jewish State. The Israeli government has even defended his critics, such as Hungarian leader Viktor Orban, against accusations of anti-Semitism, saying such allegations should not be used to “delegitimize criticism of George Soros, who continuously undermines Israel’s democratically elected governments by funding organisations that defame the Jewish state and seek to deny it the right to defend itself.”

Soros Machine Allegedly Controls U.S. Prosecutors to Push Leftist Agenda.

The Media Research Center (MRC) has released a report alleging that leftist, pro-open borders plutocrat George Soros and his son Alex are undermining U.S. law and order through their financial influence over prosecutors. The media watchdog group obtained nearly 7,800 pages of internal communications from Soros-backed prosecutors via public records requests.

According to the MRC, Soros has invested over $117 million to elect prosecutors who align with his hard-left political priorities. The report alleges these prosecutors, including Alvin Bragg in New York—behind one of the lawfare prosecutions of former President Donald J. Trump—and Kim Foxx in Illinois, are part of a coordinated effort to reshape the justice system.

“At least 30 percent of the U.S. population currently lives under the boot of the Soros prosecutors who were pressured to sign pledges vowing to adhere to various Soros priorities,” the MRC said.

The watchdog says Soros-backed prosecutors signed pledges to adhere to his priorities and have collaborated with Fair and Just Prosecution (FJP), a group financed by Soros-linked organizations.

The report criticizes FJP for its role in influencing policies on issues such as illegal immigration and drug enforcement. It alleges some Soros-backed prosecutors in Texas have even created a group chat to strategize against enforcing certain laws.

Soros-backed prosecutors in several Democrat-run cities, including New York, San Francisco, and elsewhere, have presided over a surge in criminality.

Alex Soros, who has largely taken over the day-to-day operations of his 94-year-old father’s Open Society Foundations, is close with the Biden-Harris regime and had visited the White House over 20 times as of last July.

REPORT: Soros-Linked Dems Pay Over $500K to Judge Merchan’s Daughter’s Firm.

Alex Soros, the son and chosen successor of billionaire plutocrat George Soros, met with Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and various Arizona Democrats after Whitmer’s political action committee (PAC) and the Arizona Democratic Party contracted Authentic Campaigns as a vendor, according to investigative reporter Laura Loomer. Loren Merchan, the daughter of New York judge Juan Merchan, overseeing Donald Trump’s prosecution by Democrat District Attorney (DA) Alvin Bragg, is the president and a partner of Authentic Campaigns.

Alex Soros, who has visited Joe Biden’s White House at least 20 times, reportedly held the meetings amid Trump’s trial under Merchan. Loren Merchan’s firm has also worked for Vice President Kamala Harris and Russia hoaxer Adam Schiff. She is further linked to the Democrat Democrat Attorney’s General Association (DAGA).

Authentic Campaigns has been paid $412,000 by Whitmer PAC ‘Fight Like Hell’ and almost $160,000 by the Arizona Democratic Party.

Juan Merchan, a Biden donor, has faced calls to recuse himself over his familial links to the Democratic government. However, he has refused, and imposed a gag order banning Trump from discussing his family members.

Soros, the current partner of ex-Clinton aide Huma Abedin, met with Democrats including Whitmer and Senator Mark Kelly, and Cindy McCain, who served Joe Biden as a United Nations (UN) envoy.

“It’s obvious to everyone that there is coordination between the Democrat’s lawfare campaign against Trump, and the Soros family,” Loomer commented.

George Soros funded Alvin Bragg’s campaign for DA via the Color of Change group, which bankrolls many progressive prosecutors.

OpenDemocracy Slashes Newsroom Jobs as Soros Funding Dries Up.

OpenDemocracy, a non-profit news publisher previously funded by George Soros, is facing job cuts and financial uncertainty as the elderly plutocrat’s Open Society Foundations group scales back funding under the stewardship of his son, Alex Soros.

OpenDemocracy revealed it would have been insolvent by June had it not cut its budget by around 40 percent. Cutbacks included around a third of its journalists in the United Kingdom, including Head of News Ramzy Alwakeel.

The outlet’s unionized staff are in uproar and have passed votes of no confidence in both chief executive Satbir Singh and board chairwoman Suzanna Taverne.

During its Soros-funded heyday, OpenDemocracy adopted a strong stance against Donald Trump and “whiteness.” It advocated for Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Mariana Islands, including Guam, to be granted statehood to “end the whiteness of Congress” in 2021.

In 2022, it argued that press interest in the Ukraine war was a racist “dog whistle” driven by the fact the combatants are European.

In 2020, former OpenDemocracy editor Eleanor Penny posted on X, formerly Twitter, that she hoped Trump “dies from anything” when he was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Alex Soros, who describes himself as “more political” than his 93-year-old father, has focused Open Society’s financial resources on the United States. Soros Fund Management has poured millions into buying up radio stations and invested in a podcasting network aptly named Crooked Media.

Alex Soros had already visited Joe Biden’s White House at least 20 times as of June 2023.

Soros, Pelosi, Raskin Attend Swanky Fundraiser for Group That Tattles on Alex Jones.

Several influential figures in Democratic politics were on Capitol Hill Wednesday night for a fundraiser benefitting the People for the American Way (PFAW). Spotted at the event, hosted by the Top of the Hill Banquet & Conference Center, were former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Reps. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), and Ed Markey (D-MA), as well as Alex Soros — son of billionaire globalist George Soros — and Rabbi David Saperstein.

RIGHT WING WATCH.

The group, which boasts an annual nonprofit budget of nearly $6 million, backs several initiatives that promote politically progressive causes. However, their best-known project is the website and publication Right Wing Watch. Right Wing Watch was credited with leading the campaign to de-platform Alex Jones in 2018. Following a Right Wing Watch pressure campaign, Apple Inc., YouTube, Facebook, and Spotify blocked Jones‘s content.

Right Wing Watch operates similarly to Media Matters for America (MMFA), selectively editing clips of conservative and religious leaders, politicians, and commentators and subsequently promoting the videos to the corporate media. The tactic was actually popularized by PFAW. The group would record VHS television segments and mail them to news networks and television stations.

HOLLYWOOD LIBERALS.

PFAW founder Norman Lear was a Hollywood television producer and writer best known for creating several popular 1970s sitcoms. Lear, a self-described liberal who died in 2023, backed numerous civil-libertarian political efforts. PFAW’s board members include actor Alec Baldwin, comedian and writer Seth MacFarlane, United Farm Worker co-founder Dolores Huerta, actress Jane Lynch, and former AMC Networks CEO Josh Sapan.

How Fitting: Soros Pours Cash into ‘Crooked Media’ Amidst Major Broadcast Push.

Soros Fund Management, founded by nonagenarian plutocrat and convicted insider trader George Soros, is investing heavily in radio and podcasting as his empire passes into the hands of his White House-linked son, Alex Soros.

Sources who have “been involved in discussions with Soros executives” have revealed the 93-year-old globalist may be preparing the ground for a major “audio buying spree,” having already invested millions in the industry since 2022.

These investments include backing a firm involved in the 2022 takeover of 18 Hispanic radio stations, including Cuban conservative stations in Miami, which Democrat operatives will now oversee. Also in 2022, Soros invested an “undisclosed sum” in podcasting network ‘Crooked Media,’ which hosts the Pod Save America show — a significant player in leftist media, fronted by Barack Obama staffers and boasting around 1.5 million listeners per episode.

This year, Soros Fund Management became the number one shareholder of Audacy, which, with over 230 stations, is the second-largest radio broadcaster in the United States and also runs a podcasting arm.

One of several podcasting companies Soros is looking to buy into is Lemonada, which recently signed divorced actress turned problem royal Meghan Markle.

Semafor, the globalist media outlet that reported the mooted “buying spree,” noted it could impact the U.S. election in November and suggested conservative radio hosts may feel unable to “second-guess” potentially fraudulent results.

Alex Soros Met With Biden Advisor Jake Sullivan Days Before Billionaire Father Made Election Contribution.

Alex Soros, son of globalist billionaire and Democrat megadonor George Soros, attended several meetings at the White House in late November, just days before George Soros contributed $350,000 to support the reelection of President Joe Biden, according to campaign finances records.

White House visitor logs indicate Alex Soros met with National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan on November 22 and with Rachel Chiu of the White House Office of Political Strategy and energy adviser Amos Hochstein the day prior.

Soros serves as the chair of his billionaire father’s Open Society Foundations, a network of non-profit groups pushing a progressive policy agenda worldwide. He was named one of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders in 2018.

Open Society Foundations holds significant political influence in the Biden government. Most recently, the Soros political network has pushed for a ceasefire in Gaza – accusing Israel of committing alleged war crimes in response to the Hamas terrorist attack on October 7th. While acknowledging Israel has a duty to protect its citizens, the organization claims the Jewish State has engaged in violations of international humanitarian law.

According to records, Alex Soros has made 25 visits to the Biden White House. Notably, he was accompanied by Open Society Foundations special adviser Yasin Yaqubie during his meeting with Jake Sullivan and by Michael Vachon – a longtime aide to George Soros – during his meeting with Rachel Chiu.
