Mace Pushes Bill to End Taxpayer Funding of Fauci’s ‘Transgender Animal Experiments.’

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) introduced legislation to prohibit federal taxpayer funding for transgender animal research.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Rep. Mace and cosponsors Reps. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Brandon Gill (R-TX), and Lauren Boebert (R-CO); White Coat Waste Project, and Anthony Fauci.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The TRANS MICE Act (HR 4512) was introduced in Congress in July.

💬KEY QUOTE: “This legislation brings accountability, ends taxpayer-funded cruelty, and ensures science serves the public, not ideology.” – Nancy Mace

🎯IMPACT: The bill seeks to end taxpayer funding for experiments altering animals’ biological sex and stop advancing political agendas through research.

IN FULL

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) has proposed a bill to ban federal taxpayer funding for transgender animal research. This spring, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) paused such studies on mice, which had previously been examined during a House Oversight Committee hearing on animal cruelty. The research was authorized under former National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAD) Director Anthony Fauci.

The legislation, named the Transgender Research on Animals Now Stops and Money for Ideological Cruelty Eliminated Act (TRANS MICE Act), would bar federal funds from being used to “conduct, support, or fund (directly or indirectly)” research that alters an animal’s biological sex.

The measure focuses on research involving drugs, hormones, surgery, or other methods that modify an animal’s body to no longer align with its biological sex. Exemptions apply to animals that naturally change sex during their life cycle or have both male and female reproductive organs. Representatives Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Brandon Gill (R-TX), and Lauren Boebert (R-CO) cosponsored the bill.

“Americans are rightfully tired of seeing their tax dollars spent on wasteful experiments disguised as research while advancing a political agenda,” Mace said in a statement. “This legislation brings accountability, ends taxpayer-funded cruelty, and ensures science serves the public, not ideology.”

Anthony Belloti, president and founder of White Coat Waste Project, highlighted the group’s investigations and advocacy for exposing and opposing taxpayer-funded transgender animal experiments. He noted that grants from agencies like the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) have supported similar studies, underscoring the need for the TRANS MICE Act. “Trump’s historic cuts have already saved thousands of animals and millions of taxpayer dollars,” Belloti added.

Biden Admits He Did Not Individually Approve Most Pardons and Commutations.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Former President Joe Biden admitted he did not individually approve each name listed in his last-minute clemency actions, instead authorizing “standards” for assistants to follow while the autopen was used to finalize the warrants.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Joe Biden, his former Chief of Staff Jeffrey Zients, former White House Counsel Ed Siskel, former Staff Secretary Stefanie Feldman, and GOP investigators, including Representative James Comer (R-KY) and Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI).

📍WHEN & WHERE: Washington, D.C., November 2024–January 2025

💬KEY QUOTE: “[T]he only things that really we read off names for were, for example, you know, was I, what was I going to do about, for example, Mark Milley?” – Joe Biden

🎯IMPACT: Republicans are investigating whether Biden’s aides issued pardons without his direct involvement, especially after his poor debate 2024 performance underlined his cognitive decline. The clemency actions include controversial preemptive pardons for Dr. Anthony Fauci, General Mark Milley, and others.

IN FULL

Former President Joe Biden admitted in a New York Times interview that “assistants” were responsible for notifying the autopen manager as to who should receive a pardon or commutation. Biden merely signed off on broad “standards” for most acts of clemency.

“[T]he only things that really we read off names for were, for example, you know, was I, what was I going to do about, for example, Mark Milley?” Biden told the newspaper. For the most part, names were filled in by the Bureau of Prisons, and autopen use was managed by aides based on meeting notes and summaries. However, Biden defended this practice, claiming full awareness of each decision.

“I made every decision,” Biden said in a phone interview with the NYT. “We’re talking about a whole lot of people.” He accused President Trump and Republicans of lying, and suggested his actions with respect to figures like Milley and Dr. Anthony Fauci were a precaution against Trump being “vindictive” in office.

Biden authorized 25 high-profile pardons, nearly 4,000 commutations, and spared all but three death row inmates. However, the sole warrant he signed personally was for his son, Hunter Biden.

Republicans, led by House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) and Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), are investigating whether Biden’s mental decline allowed his aides to hijack the clemency process.

Some former aides have invoked the Fifth Amendment or retained legal counsel in response to the investigation.

Key figures pardoned include Dr. Anthony Fauci, General Mark Milley, and Liz Cheney and other members of the January 6 committee.

Then-Staff Secretary Stefanie Feldman coordinated the autopen process after receiving meeting notes from aides like Jeffrey Zients and Ed Siskel.

Fauci’s Wife, Conflicted on Wuhan Ethics, Terminated at NIH.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: Christine Grady, a bioethicist at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the wife of Anthony Fauci, was notified of a layoff amidst a restructuring at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

👥 Who’s Involved: Christine Grady, Anthony Fauci, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., NIH officials including Clifford Lane and Emily Erbelding.

📍 Where & When: The layoffs were announced on Tuesday; related locations include NIH and Indian Health Service field offices in Alaska, Montana, and Minnesota.

💬 Key Quote: An NIH official described Grady as “a good person with a major conflict of interest,” referring to ethical challenges faced during the suppression of the Wuhan lab leak hypothesis.

⚠️ Impact: The restructuring could mean significant changes in administration at NIH.

IN FULL:

Christine Grady, a prominent bioethicist and the wife of controversial former National Institutes of Health (NIH) official Anthony Fauci, is among several health officials who received layoff notifications on Tuesday, according to reports. This move comes as part of a post-pandemic restructuring effort by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), led by Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

These layoffs aim to consolidate administrative roles and modify what has been perceived as an ineffective status quo in the U.S. health administration. Alongside Grady, Clifford Lane, deputy director of clinical research and special projects at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and Emily Erbelding, director of the Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, have also been dismissed.

Like her husband, Grady is controversial. In 2002, she co-authored a paper with him arguing for lower care standards for medical trial participants in the Third World. During the COVID-19 pandemic, in which her husband played a prominent role, she published a paper defending the ethics of corporations “pressuring employees to get vaccinated” and “embarrass[ing] vaccine resistors,” and pushed for children to be enrolled in vaccine trials.

An NIH official cited a potential conflict of interest involving Grady, stating her marriage to Fauci impacted the ability of NIH to address ethical issues openly, especially on critical episodes like the Wuhan lab leak—which he denied or minimized for years.

Anonymous comments by an NIH source revealed that Grady was caught in a “conflicted role” due to her personal ties. “One of the problems when the coverup was going on of the Wuhan lab leak, that whole fiasco, was that they were not listening to anyone giving ethics advice,” the source explained. “If they had had someone at the table with knowledge of this, they would have said: ‘Hey do you want to play it this way, or be more transparent?’… That’s something Christine Grady could have, or should have, done. She wasn’t able to do it because she was Fauci’s wife.”

Biden Issues Last-Minute Pardons to Cheney, Fauci, Milley to Prevent Investigations.

Joe Biden issued sweeping, preemptive pardons for the likes of Anthony Fauci, Mark Milley, and the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack ahead of Donald J. Trump’s inauguration on January 20. “I believe in the rule of law, and I am optimistic that the strength of our legal institutions will ultimately prevail over politics. But these are exceptional circumstances, and I cannot in good conscience do nothing,” the 82-year-old said in a statement. Donald Trump Jr., speaking for many critics of the move, responded, “If you ever say ‘I believe in the rule of law… BUT’ you don’t actually believe in the rule of law.”

Fauci‘s handling of the COVID-19 response has been criticized for its inconsistencies, overreach, and potential suppression of alternative scientific viewpoints. The former Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and Chief Medical Advisor to President Biden is also criticized for being dishonest about his funding of so-called gain-of-function research, which may have played a role in starting the pandemic. However, if Biden’s preemptive pardon stands up to legal scrutiny, he has effectively sidestepped any future legal repercussions for his decisions.

Similarly, General Milley’s pardon is calculated to protect him from consequences for his actions during the tumultuous January 6 Capitol protests in 2021. Milley faces particular scrutiny for allegedly overstepping his authority by contacting General Li Zuocheng of the People’s Liberation Army the day after the demonstrations to assure him “Everything’s fine, but democracy can be sloppy sometimes,” and that if American forces were to strike, he would “call you ahead of time; it’s not going to be a surprise.”

Biden’s pardons for Liz Cheney and the rest of the January 6 Committee are particularly contentious. The committee has been accused of partisanship and ignoring, downplaying, or even hiding evidence that might exonerate Trump and his supporters. Most recently, a House report accused Liz Cheney of unlawful witness tampering.

Biden’s tenure closed with a record number of pardons and commutations. Recently, he had commuted the sentences of nearly 2,500 nonviolent drug offenders and commuted sentences for 37 federal death row killers.

Traitor Mike Pence is Trying to Block Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s Appointment. Here’s Why…

Former Vice President Mike Pence, in his role as an establishment mouthpiece to attack President-elect Donald J. Trump and his agenda, is urging the U.S. Senate to reject Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nomination as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). Pence’s political organization, Advancing American Freedom, is whipping Republican senators against Kennedy’s nomination over his past support for abortion access.

In a letter to Republican members of the Senate, Advancing American Freedom encourages lawmakers to press Kennedy with five questions addressing his abortion stance. The Pence group letter assets the HHS nominee has previously supported late-term abortions, claiming Kennedy has stated the government should not be involved in a woman’s decision to terminate her pregnancy “even if [the baby] is full term.”

Advancing American Freedom President Tim Chapman and Chairman of the Board Marc Short assert Kennedy’s abortion stance is “completely out of step with the strong, pro-life record of the first Trump Administration.”

The Pence allies continue: “While RFK Jr. has made certain overtures to pro-life leaders that he would be mindful of their concerns at HHS, there is little reason for confidence at this time.”

Despite the claims by Pence’s Advancing American Freedom, Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO)—who spoke with Kennedy in December—says the HHS nominee is committed to reimplementing Trump’s pro-life directives at the department, including the Mexico City Policy and barring the taxpayer funding of abortion in the U.S.

The National Pulse previously reported that Pence’s staff oversaw Operation Warp Speed and aligned public health policy with Big Pharma’s interests. In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Pence formed the task force that elevated Alex Azar, Anthony Fauci, and Deborah Birx.

Kennedy has pledged to investigate Fauci and Birx’s decisions during the pandemic.

Biden Hints at Preemptive Pardons for Fauci, Cheney.

Lame-duck President Joe Biden has hinted he is considering preemptive pardons for former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) director Anthony Fauci and neoconservative former Congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-WY). Susan Page of USA Today, in an interview, asked Biden, “Some of your supporters have encouraged you to issue preemptive pardons to people like Liz Cheney and Anthony Fauci, who Trump has threatened to target. Will you do that?” The 82-year-old said his next steps depend “on who [Trump] puts in what positions.”

“I was very straightforward with Trump when he got elected. I invited him immediately to the White House, I spent two hours with him. He talked about, he was very complimentary about some of the economic things I had done, and he talked about, he thought I was leaving with a good record, kind of thing,” the Democrat claimed.

“I tried to make it clear that there was no need, and it was counterintuitive for his interest to go back and try to settle scores,” he added, apparently referring to Trump potentially mounting efforts to bring officials to justice for misconduct.

Biden said Trump did not give him a clear answer on what he was going to do, “But he didn’t say, ‘No, I’m going to…’ You know, he didn’t reinforce it. He just basically listened.”

Asked if he was still assessing the issue, Biden gave his strongest hint that preemptive pardons are on the table: “I think there are certain people like, if he were to, I don’t want to name their names. I’ll tell you off the record,” he said, with USA Today redacting his next comments.

REVEALED: Fauci Got $15M in Taxpayer-Funded Security Since Leaving Government.

In the nearly two years since his retirement, Dr. Anthony Fauci has received $15 million in taxpayer-funded security services. Documents obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request by watchdog group Open the Books reveal that Fauci, who officially left his position as National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) director in December 2022, has continued to benefit from U.S. Marshals Service protection, complete with a security detail and chauffeur, all funded by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

This protection agreement, spelled out in a Memorandum of Understanding between HHS and the U.S. Marshals Service, covers the period from January 4, 2023, through September 20, 2024, with a provision for extension. According to the MOU, the $15 million includes salaries for security personnel, transportation costs, and equipment—all provided to a private citizen no longer serving the government.

The U.S. Marshals Service, which usually focuses on tracking down fugitives and protecting judges, has struggled with budget shortfalls in recent years. Following an Inspector General report highlighting resource limitations, the agency recently requested an additional $28.1 million to better protect federal judges. Despite these constraints, resources have been diverted to cover security for Fauci. At the same time, other public figures, like former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., have had to rely on private funds for their security needs.

Ex-CDC Chief Warns of High-Mortality Bird Flu Pandemic Caused by Gain of Function Research.

Former U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Director Dr. Robert Redfield has expressed concerns over a potential avian influenza pandemic caused by reckless gain-of-function research. Redfield stressed he is “less concerned” by the possibility of bird flu jumping between species than he is by an out-of-control manmade virus.

“I’m much more concerned that this will happen in the laboratory, through gain of function research. I can create this virus literally in weeks to months by using gain of function research,” Redfield warned.

“I know exactly what amino acids I have to change, because in 2012, against my recommendation, the scientists that did these experiments actually published them. So the recipe for how to make bird flu highly infectious for humans is already out there. All you have to do is look at it.”

Redfield has previously expressed disappointment in Dr. Anthony Fauci’s resistance to investigating whether the Chinese coronavirus pandemic was caused by a leaked gain-of-function virus—possibly because he funded such research.

HIGH FATALITY RATE.

Dr. Redfield highlighted the high mortality associated with bird flu when it infects humans, estimating a fatality rate between 25 percent and 50 percent. He noted a rise in bird flu among 27 mammalian species including not only poultry animals like chicken, ducks, and turkeys, but also cattle in the United States.

Highlighting the virus’s spread to mammals such as dolphins, seals, bears, and cats, Redfield noted, “As the virus adapts to these new receptors, it inches closer to being able to infect humans.”

Health officials have detected bird flu in pasteurized milk from infected dairy cattle, and it has already transferred to at least one Texas dairy worker.

The Joe Biden regime is already investing millions in an mRNA vaccine for bird flu.

Fauci Couldn’t Name A SINGLE Study to Support Masking Kids.

Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted in closed-door testimony that he reviewed no specific scientific data for masking children before recommending the policy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The details: The revelation comes from newly-released transcripts of Fauci‘s January testimony to the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic. Here’s what the transcript says:

  • Question: Do you recall reviewing any studies or data supporting masking for children?
  • Fauci: You know, I might have, Mitch, but I don’t recall specifically that I did. I might have.
  • Question: There’s been a lot of studies that have come out since the pandemic started, but specifically on this there have been significant on kind of like the learning loss and speech and development issues that have been associated with particularly young children wearing masks while they’re growing up. They can’t see their teacher talk and can’t learn how to form words. Have you followed any of those studies?
  • Fauci: No. But I believe that there are a lot of conflicting studies too, that there are those that say, yes, there is an impact, and there are those that say there’s not. I still think that’s up in the air.

Back up: Despite failing to recall studies to support his child-masking recommendation, the former Chief Medical Advisor to President Biden continued to recommend it to the public.

  • Fauci told CBS News in March 2021: “When the children go out into the community, you want them to continue to wear a mask.”
  • In February 2022, Fauci told CNN “it is risky” to let kids take their masks off.

Negative effects on children: Research has shown that masking children during the COVID-19 pandemic had detrimental effects on their social and emotional developmentcommunication skills, and mental health.

Back to the new transcript: During Fauci’s January testimony, he also admitted there was no science behind his 6-foot social distancing guidelines, admitting it “just sort of appeared.”

What’s next? This week, Fauci will testify in his first public hearing since retiring in December 2022.

Fauci Admits He ‘Never’ Read EcoHealth Grant Application Before Approval.

After extensive pressure from Democratic lawmakers, the Republican-controlled House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic has published the full two-part transcribed interview with Dr. Anthony Fauci. The release comes one business day before the former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) director is set to testify before the subcommittee. It reveals that Fauci did not personally read grant applications he approved — including the application of EcoHealth Alliance, whose activities may very well be the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The interview, which initially in fragments surfaced in January, includes Fauci’s acknowledgment that the lab leak theory pertaining to the origins of COVID-19 is not a conspiracy theory and he lacks evidence for the six-foot social distancing mandate.

Key revelations from the interviews include Fauci’s admission that he never personally read a research grant application before signing off on it. This includes the EcoHealth Alliance’s application with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which has raised concerns regarding gain-of-function research potentially linked to the origins of COVID-19. Fauci also revealed his lack of knowledge about whether NIAID verifies the biosafety of foreign labs or if such grants undergo national security review.

An unnamed Biden regime official obstructed Fauci from answering whether he recommended travel restrictions during the pandemic, though Fauci stated he supported every travel restriction implemented under the Trump administration. This, according to the GOP majority, contradicts public portrayals of the restrictions as xenophobic.

Fauci, in support of COVID-19 vaccine mandates, suggested making life “difficult” for those refusing vaccination. However, he noted the necessity for social studies to ascertain if such mandates have counterproductive effects.

Fauci is scheduled to testify at 10AM on June 3.
