Mistrial Declared in Anti-ICE Antifa Sniper Ambush Case.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A federal judge declared a mistrial in a case involving nine alleged Antifa members accused of ambushing a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman, defense attorney MarQuetta Clayton, nine alleged Antifa members, and federal prosecutors.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The mistrial was declared on Tuesday in the Northern District of Texas; the alleged ambush occurred on July 4, 2025, at the Prairieland ICE Detention Center.

💬KEY QUOTE: “I don’t know why in the world you would think that’s appropriate.” – Judge Pittman.

🎯IMPACT: A new pool of jurors will be brought in, and the defense attorney may face sanctions for her attire.

IN FULL

U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman declared a mistrial Tuesday in the Northern District of Texas in the case against nine alleged Antifa members accused of ambushing the Prairieland ICE Detention Center. The decision came before a jury was seated and followed controversy surrounding defense attorney MarQuetta Clayton’s courtroom attire.

Clayton, who represents defendant Maricela Rueda, wore a T-shirt beneath her blazer displaying civil rights leaders, including Martin Luther King Jr. and Shirley Chisholm. The shirt also appeared to honor Rev. Jesse Jackson, who had died that same day. Judge Pittman rebuked the choice, stating, “I don’t know why in the world you would think that’s appropriate.”

Tensions also arose during jury selection after Clayton referenced constitutional protest rights and Jackson’s death. During questioning, a portion of the 75 prospective jurors voiced anti-ICE and anti-Trump views, complicating efforts to seat an impartial panel. Pittman dismissed the group and said a new pool of roughly 130 jurors would be summoned the following week.

Federal prosecutors allege the defendants participated in a July 4, 2025, attack on the detention center in Alvarado, accusing members of what they describe as a North Texas Antifa cell of launching fireworks, vandalizing property, and firing at federal officers. An Alvarado police officer responding to the scene was shot in the neck but survived. Authorities have characterized the case as the first federal prosecution treating Antifa as a domestic terrorist group.

Attorney General Pam Bondi recently directed federal law enforcement to examine people linked to Antifa for potential domestic terrorism and tax violations. Separate federal cases have also targeted self-identified Antifa activists on charges ranging from threats against immigration officers to alleged involvement in politically motivated violence.

In explaining his ruling, Pittman compared Clayton’s shirt to a prosecutor wearing overtly political imagery, such as “a prosecutor wearing an ICE pin” or “a shirt with Donald Trump riding an eagle” alongside an ICE flag. He emphasized, “Politics—as prevalent as they are, as divided as they are—don’t have any business here.”

Clayton could face sanctions over the incident as the court prepares to restart the trial with a new jury pool.

Leftist Political Aide Arrested After Antifa Murder of Right-Wing Activist.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Four suspects, including a parliamentary assistant, were arrested in connection with the killing of conservative Catholic student Quentin Déranque in Lyon.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Quentin Déranque, suspects tied to Antifa’s Jeune Garde, and MP Raphaël Arnault’s assistant Jacques-Élie Favrot.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The incident occurred last Thursday during a protest in Lyon; arrests were made on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Jean-Luc Mélenchon bears immense moral and political responsibility: his complicity with ultra-leftist groups… has opened the doors of the National Assembly to presumed murderers.” – Jordan Bardella

🎯IMPACT: The killing has intensified scrutiny of far-left groups and prompted calls to classify Antifa as a terrorist organization.

IN FULL

French authorities have arrested four people in connection with the death of 23-year-old student Quentin Déranque, who died after suffering severe brain injuries last week in Lyon. According to local reporting, those detained on Tuesday include Jacques-Élie Favrot, a parliamentary assistant to radical leftist legislator Raphaël Arnault, and Adrian Besseyre, a former intern for Arnault.

Déranque was providing informal protection for a protest organized by the right-wing feminist group Collectif Némésis outside Sciences Po Lyon, where a lecture by far-left Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Rima Hassan of La France Insoumise (France Unbowed/LFI) was taking place. The French press has previously indicated that six suspects identified by investigators are affiliated with the Jeune Garde, an Antifa-linked gang in Lyon that Arnault helped found before his election. Although the French government moved to ban Jeune Garde last year for inciting violence, questions remain about whether the cell truly disbanded or continues to operate.

The case has triggered fierce political condemnation. National Rally president Jordan Bardella said: “A parliamentary assistant to the LFI MP Raphaël Arnault is among those arrested in the investigation into the death of Quentin. Jean-Luc Mélenchon bears immense moral and political responsibility: his complicity with ultra-leftist groups, which he himself describes as ‘young comrades,’ has opened the doors of the National Assembly to presumed murderers.” Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin stated that “the Young Guard kills, and La France Insoumise should condemn it.”

Footage circulating online has also shown some on the left allegedly celebrating the fatal attack, with one individual shouting: “I’m in favour of Quentin’s death!” Figures such as Marine Le Pen have renewed calls to formally classify Antifa as a terrorist organization.

In recent years, Antifa-linked actors have been involved in high-profile violent confrontations in Europe and the United States. A violent transgender Antifa radical in Hungary was sentenced to eight years in prison earlier this year for hammer attacks on people perceived as right-wing that took place in 2023. Meanwhile, President Donald J. Trump, last November, declared several European Antifa groups as foreign terrorist organizations.

In the United States, the Trump administration designated Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization in September 2025, characterizing the movement as a “militarist, anarchist enterprise” that uses violence and intimidation to pursue political goals, and calling for federal resources to counter its activities. So far, very few European governments have pushed for similar designations.

Right-Wing Activist Dead After Beating by Antifa Terrorists: Report.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A right-wing activist has died after being severely beaten in the street by Antifa terrorists.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Antifa, the 23-year-old victim, identified as “Quentin,” the La France Insoumise (France Unbowed) party, and a female-led anti-mass migration activist group Collectif Némésis.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The beating occurred on the evening of February 12, with Quentin’s death announced the following day.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Judicial impunity and media complacency towards the radical left have led to this tragedy.” – Marion Marechal MEP.

🎯IMPACT: The death is just the latest act of extreme violence from Antifa terrorists in Europe.

IN FULL

A 23-year-old Frenchman has reportedly died after being severely beaten by Antifa terrorists during a violent confrontation in Lyon on the evening of February 12, according to local reports and messages shared on social media. The incident took place near Sciences Po Lyon in the city’s 7th district, where a conference was being held by Rima Hassan, a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) representing the ultra-left-wing party La France Insoumise (France Unbowed).

Members of the female-led anti-mass migration activist group Collectif Némésis had gathered outside the venue to protest Hassan’s appearance. Tensions reportedly escalated between them and counter-protesters described as far-left militants. The situation devolved into a street brawl.

Emergency services were called to the scene as multiple people were injured during the clashes. According to initial accounts, a young woman associated with Collectif Némésis was pushed to the ground and assaulted.

During the confrontation, a young man identified locally as “Quentin” was reportedly acting as security for Collectif Némésis. He suffered serious head trauma after being beaten and was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Doctors placed him in an induced coma due to a severe brain injury.

Marion Marechal MEP, the niece of French populist leader Marine Le Pen, commented on the incident, saying, “Judicial impunity and media complacency towards the radical left have led to this tragedy. [La France Insoumise] also has blood on its hands when we know its links with these violent groups and its permanent calls for chaos and hatred.”

On February 13, messages circulating on X (formerly Twitter) stated that the young man had died from his injuries. As of the latest official updates, authorities had not issued a detailed public statement confirming the circumstances of his death.

Lyon’s mayor described the event as an “extremely violent brawl” and called for calm while an investigation is underway. Law enforcement officials have opened an inquiry into the incident, including potential charges related to aggravated assault and public disorder. No arrests had been publicly announced so far.

The incident comes just months after President Donald J. Trump declared several European Antifa groups as foreign terrorist organisations. This came after he designated Antifa in the United States a terrorist group as well.

European Antifa groups are known to be highly violent, with one member of the Antifa “Hammer Gang” being sentenced earlier this month for taking part in random, severe beatings of suspected conservatives in Budapest, Hungary, in 2023. The transgender Antifa militant was found guilty and sentenced to eight years in prison for participating in the beatings, which involved the use of hammers to severely injure multiple people based on whether they appeared to be right-wing.

In a separate case, Antifa terrorists sabotaged critical energy infrastructure in Germany, leaving 45,000 people without power in the middle of winter. The terrorists claimed to be concerned with the climate.

Violent Trans Antifa Radical Jailed for Hammer Attacks on Right-Wingers.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A transgender Antifa radical was sentenced to eight years in prison in Hungary for a series of violent far-left attacks in Budapest.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The German activist, known as “Maja T.,” and other members of the “Hammer Gang” Antifa cell.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The attacks occurred in Budapest in February 2023; sentencing was this week at the Budapest Municipal Court.

🎯IMPACT: The case has sparked political backlash in Europe, with some accusing Hungary of political persecution while others highlight the violent nature of the crimes.

IN FULL

A Hungarian court has handed an eight-year prison sentence to “Maja T.,” a German national linked to a series of far-left assaults carried out in Budapest in February 2023. The attacks were attributed to a radical Antifa cell known as the “Hammer Gang,” which allegedly targeted people it accused of being “neo-Nazis.”

Prosecutors said the group ambushed victims in the street, striking them on the head with clubs and continuing to beat them after they fell. Several victims reportedly suffered skull fractures and other life-threatening injuries. Authorities said those attacked were selected based on suspicion of right-wing views, regardless of whether they were actually involved in any extremist activity.

The convict, who claims to be “non-binary,” was found guilty of life-threatening assault and membership in a criminal organization by the Budapest Municipal Court. The ruling is provisional and may be appealed.

Maja claimed the case was politically driven and aimed at satisfying Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, whose government has classified Antifa as a terrorist organization. “Of course, I see the Hungarian government’s efforts to influence the independence of the court,” Maja complained following the verdict.

Another alleged member of the Hammer Gang, Italian activist Ilaria Salis, was previously held under house arrest in Hungary, but later secured release after being elected to the European Parliament, gaining parliamentary immunity.

Antifa has been linked by authorities in multiple countries to acts of political violence. In recent years, governments and law enforcement agencies have cited Antifa-associated groups in connection with assaults, arson attacks, and major infrastructure sabotage.

Last year, President Trump declared several European Antifa groups as foreign terrorist organisations.

Anti-ICE ‘Antifa General’ Captured, Hit With Federal Charges.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A self-identified Antifa member was arrested on federal charges of cyberstalking and threatening communications against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Kyle Wagner, 37, a self-proclaimed Antifa member, and federal immigration officers were involved.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The arrest took place on January 5, 2026, in Minneapolis.

💬KEY QUOTE: “This man allegedly doxxed and called for the murder of law enforcement officers,” said Attorney General Pam Bondi.

🎯IMPACT: The arrest underscores the federal government’s commitment to tackling threats against law enforcement.

IN FULL

Kyle Wagner, a self-identified member of Antifa, was apprehended on charges of cyberstalking and threatening communications. The allegations involve serious threats against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Attorney General Pamela Bondi stated, “This man allegedly doxxed and called for the murder of law enforcement officers, encouraged bloodshed in the streets, and proudly claimed affiliation with the terrorist organization Antifa before going on the run,” adding: Today’s arrest illustrates that you cannot run, you cannot hide, and you cannot evade our federal agents: if you come for law enforcement, the Trump Administration will come for you.”

Wagner is accused of making multiple threats via social media, encouraging violence against ICE officers. He allegedly referred to them as “Gestapo”—like Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D)—and “murderers,” and called for confrontations.

In a video posted on January 8, Wagner threatened ICE agents directly, saying, “I’ve already bled for this city, I’ve already fought for this city, this is nothing new, we’re ready this time, ICE we’re f***ing coming for you.”

“This is kill or be killed,” he insisted, urging people to “hunt” ICE and declaring, “This is where ICE has come to die.”

“We want to know who they are. We will identify every single one of them and we will prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. If it has to be done at the barrel of a gun, then let us have a little f***ing fun,” he said in one video, stating explicitly in another that he was “not talking about peaceful protests anymore” and adding: “Get your f***ing guns and stop these f***ing people.”

Top Teachers Union Boss Brands Trump a ‘Dictator’ in Call with Antifa-Linked Movement.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The president of the National Education Association (NEA) referred to former President Donald J. Trump as a “dictator” during a far-left activist call organized by the Sunrise Movement.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Becky Pringle, president of the NEA, and the Sunrise Movement, a far-left organization with ties to Antifa.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The comments were made during a Zoom event last week titled “Roadmap to Political Revolution.”

💬KEY QUOTE: It is truly shocking that the head of the largest teachers union in the country, who is meant to represent the best interests of her members, would join in such a radical event—one that is openly calling to change the US political system, and to call for collective action and political activism.” – Mika Hackner, North American Values Institute

🎯IMPACT: Concerns have been raised about the NEA’s alignment with far-left activism and its influence on education and, by extension, American children, with critics questioning the organization’s federal charter.

IN FULL

Becky Pringle, president of the National Education Association (NEA), is facing criticism after referring to President Donald J. Trump as a “dictator” during a virtual activist call hosted by the Sunrise Movement. The event, titled “Roadmap to Political Revolution,” focused on opposing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), criticizing Trump, and promoting progressive congressional candidates.

During the call, Pringle said the NEA’s roughly three million members and thousands of affiliates would be mobilized to “advocate,” “litigate,” and “elect people” who align with the union’s political priorities. She accused the Trump administration of scapegoating immigrants and criticized ICE, saying the agency had caused “fear and trauma” in schools by allegedly targeting educators, students, and families.

The Sunrise Movement, which organized the event, is known for advocating policies such as the Green New Deal and other left-progressive policies. The group has drawn scrutiny from conservative organizations and lawmakers over reported links to Antifa-aligned activists. Antifa factions have been associated with riots, vandalism, and attacks on law enforcement and infrastructure during protests in multiple U.S. cities.

Critics have raised concerns about the NEA’s involvement in events hosted by radical groups. Mika Hackner of the North American Values Institute questioned the union’s leadership actions, saying, It is truly shocking that the head of the largest teachers union in the country, who is meant to represent the best interests of her members, would join in such a radical event—one that is openly calling to change the US political system, and to call for collective action and political activism.” Previously, an NEA whistle-blower described the organization as a “cult,” alleging it prioritizes advancing far-left agenda items over addressing the practical needs of educators and students.

Under the Trump administration, federal authorities have taken several steps to monitor and investigate Antifa-linked activity. In 2025, the administration directed financial institutions to monitor transactions potentially tied to Antifa and other left-wing domestic terror groups. Later that year, Trump announced efforts to designate violent Antifa groups overseas as foreign terrorist organizations (FTOs). In December, Attorney General Pam Bondi instructed federal law enforcement agencies to begin probing Antifa-affiliated groups for potential tax crimes and domestic terrorism offenses.

U-Haul Distributes ‘Shields and Gear’ to Organized Anti-ICE Agitators.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Agitators attempting to block immigration enforcement operations at the Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis, Minnesota, had shields and other gear distributed to them via U-Haul, suggesting a high level of organization.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: ICE officials, protesters, and the Antifa-affiliated group Unicorn Riot.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Friday, at the Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

💬KEY QUOTE: “I will tell you right now, they are going to fail.” – Marcos Charles, Acting Executive Associate Director of ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), said of the agitators’ efforts to disrupt immigration enforcement.

🎯IMPACT: The blockade’s sophistication suggests anti-ICE activities are not spontaneous, and may be tied to nonprofits or other organizing forces.

IN FULL

A senior Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official said Friday that protesters attempting to disrupt federal immigration enforcement operations at the Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis, Minnesota, had shields and other gear distributed to them by a U-Haul truck. Speaking at a press conference, Marcos Charles, Acting Executive Associate Director of ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations, said a group arrived at the building equipped to block access and prevent agents from leaving to carry out their duties.

“Moments ago, a group of agitators, a U-Haul van filled with shields… and gear decided to come over here to the Whipple building and block traffic. They are currently trying to impede us from getting out of the building and going to do our mission,” Charles said.

Charles stated that ICE would continue operations despite the obstruction. “I will tell you right now, they are going to fail because no matter what they put up in front of us, we are here to do a job to protect this community, to protect Minnesotans, and to keep the criminal illegal aliens off the street and put them where they belong: back into detention and remove them from this country,” he added.

The Antifa-affiliated media group Unicorn Riot acknowledged the protest activity on social media, describing coordinated demonstrations across the Twin Cities amid extreme cold. “Today is #ICEout day in MN with high temps reaching -11°F & masses are protesting at MSP Airport while hundreds are outside the Whipple Federal Building. On one side, a blockade prevents ICE vehicles from driving thru while ice balls are thrown at vehicles on the other side,” the group posted.

Earlier this month, President Donald J. Trump blamed radical left-wing extremists for a rise in attacks and threats against law enforcement following the shooting of an anti-ICE activist who hit a federal officer with her car.

Department of Homeland Security officials have reported more than 10,000 arrests of illegal aliens in the Minneapolis area, drawing criticism from Minnesota’s Democrat leadership, including Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. The Department of Justice has recently arrested several activists accused of orchestrating aggressive anti-ICE actions in Minneapolis, including the disruption of church services and federal operations.

U.S. Blocks Over 10K Narco-Terrorists, Terror Watchlist Expands by 85K.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: U.S. intelligence officials blocked over 10,000 people tied to narco-terrorism from entering the country in 2025 and added 85,000 more to the terror watchlist.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

📍WHEN & WHERE: In 2025, across U.S. borders, leveraging intelligence resources to prevent entry and add individuals to watchlists.

💬KEY QUOTE: “President Trump gave the order to secure the homeland, and ODNI’s National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) delivered.” – Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard

🎯IMPACT: Thousands of narco-terrorists and gang members were denied entry, and tools for combating cartel-related terrorism were successfully implemented.

IN FULL

The Trump administration was successful in preventing more than 10,000 foreign nationals with ties to narco-terrorism from gaining entry to the United States last year, according to U.S. intelligence officials. Additionally, over 85,000 individuals with similar drug trafficking and terrorist connections were added to the government’s terror watchlist.

Intelligence collected by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and shared with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and state and local law enforcement facilitated operations that prevented these individuals from entering the United States. “President Trump gave the order to secure the homeland, and ODNI’s National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) delivered,” said Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard.

Gabbard highlighted that intelligence sharing led to “thousands of successful actions against cartels and gangs,” emphasizing the role of the NCTC in apprehending and removing criminals from U.S. soil. Notably, President Donald J. Trump’s designation of cartels as terrorist organizations allowed counterterrorism officials to utilize the full scope of intelligence tools, resulting in visa revocations, arrests, deportations, and investigations.

It has also been revealed that NCTC added over 85,000 new identities to the terrorist database, a resource shared with law enforcement nationwide. “Had we had a capability like this pre-9/11, the hijackers wouldn’t have been able to come into our country in the first place,” the Trump administration contends.

During the first year of President Trump’s second term, fewer than five “traditional terrorists” attempted to enter the U.S., primarily through commercial airlines, and were denied access. The administration has also confirmed ongoing investigations into Antifa’s foreign ties, noting its inclusion as a terrorist organization.

An Antifa Terror Attack Left 45k Without Power in Freezing Temperatures.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Climate extremists claimed responsibility for an arson attack on Berlin’s electrical infrastructure, leaving tens of thousands of Germans without power.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The far-left Antifa anarchist group Vulkangruppe, Berlin Mayor Kai Wegener, and Senator Iris Spranger.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Early morning on January 3 at an electrical cable bridge over Berlin’s Teltow Canal, near the Lichterfelde power plant.

💬KEY QUOTE: “This is no joke, this is a terrorist attack.” – Berlin Mayor Kai Wegener.

🎯IMPACT: Tens of thousands of residents and businesses were left without power, with restoration efforts ongoing and potential risks to vulnerable populations.

IN FULL

Authorities in Germany are investigating Antifa sabotage after an arson attack crippled parts of Berlin’s power grid over the weekend, plunging large sections of the capital into darkness. The incident occurred early January 3 when incendiary devices were used to ignite a fire at an electrical cable bridge spanning the Teltow Canal, a key connection supplying the Lichterfelde power plant.

The blaze reportedly damaged critical transmission lines, cutting electricity to roughly 45,000 homes and more than 2,200 commercial properties. Berlin’s grid operator, Stromnetz Berlin, warned that repairs could take considerable time due to the technical complexity of the infrastructure involved.

With nighttime temperatures posing risks to vulnerable residents, concerns have grown that some Berliners may need alternative shelter if any outages persist. Mayor Kai Wegner has urged the deployment of the German Armed Forces to assist with restoration efforts, citing their technical expertise. Senator Iris Spranger has floated the possibility of using military personnel to distribute hot meals to those affected.

On Sunday, Spranger confirmed that responsibility for the attack had been claimed by the far-left anarchist collective known as Vulkangruppe, or Volcano Group. “This is a despicable attack on the people of Berlin that willfully endangers human lives,” Spranger said.

A communiqué attributed to the group and reported by Tagesspiegel framed the sabotage as a response to climate concerns, declaring: “Last night we successfully sabotaged the gas-fired power plant in Berlin-Lichterfelde… The attack on the gas-fired power plant is an act of self-defense and international solidarity with all those who protect the Earth and life.”

The group also pointed to artificial intelligence (AI) and its energy consumption as a justification for the attack, writing: “We are operating our own surveillance, and it is total… The tech companies are in the hands of the men of power that we give them… One day, we will simply die of thirst and hunger sitting in front of glowing screens or inert devices.”

German officials say the incident fits a broader pattern of far-left, climate-motivated attacks on infrastructure that have been seen across Europe in recent years. These operations have frequently targeted power cables, data lines, factories, and transportation networks. A similar act of sabotage in September left more than 50,000 people without electricity for several days.

Reacting to the latest developments, Mayor Wegner vowed an aggressive response, stating: “It was a left-wing extremist group that once again attacked our infrastructure and thereby threatened the lives of people, of elderly people who may need ventilators, of families with small children… And we have to catch these perpetrators now… This is no joke, this is a terrorist attack.”

The attack has renewed scrutiny of transnational far-left extremist networks. U.S. President Donald J. Trump moved to designate Antifa-linked groups in Europe as foreign terrorist organizations last year, citing their involvement in political violence and infrastructure attacks. In November, Antifa activists torched a German politician’s car while vowing that “MAGA freaks will follow Charlie Kirk to hell.”

Antifa Organizer Who Preyed on 13-Year-Old Found Guilty.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A former British politician and activist for the Antifa-linked activist group Hope Not Hate has been found guilty of child sex offences.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Liron Woodcock-Velleman, Hope Not Hate, unnamed child victim, and lawyer Ali Hussain.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The offences took place in December 2024. Woodcock-Velleman pleaded guilty in January 2026 and is expected to be sentenced in February.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Show me your bra.” — Hope not Hate activist Woodcock-Velleman to a 13-year-old girl.

🎯IMPACT: The arrest comes amid a crackdown on Antifa groups by the Trump administration in the U.S., including European Antifa groups.

IN FULL

A political organizer for the far-left activist group Hope Not Hate, and former politician for Britain’s governing Labour Party, has pleaded guilty to child sex offences involving a 13-year-old girl. Critics have previously linked Hope Not Hate to militant anti-fascist networks.

Liron Woodcock-Velleman, 30, who contributed reports and lodged formal complaints on behalf of Hope Not Hate, sent nude photographs of himself to the victim and explicit messages, including asking whether she was “at home alone.” In one message, he demanded, “Show me your bra,” and inquired “whether she was a virgin,” the courts were told.

The activist appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court in London, England, on Friday, admitting to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and attempting to cause a child aged 13-15 to view sexual imagery. The offences occurred between December 3 and December 10, 2024, and were uncovered by a police sting operation.

Woodcock-Velleman, elected as a Labour councillor for the London Borough of Barnet in 2022, also previously held a senior role in the Jewish Labour Movement, a Labour-affiliated body advising on anti-Semitism. He resigned from his political position in April 2025 without explanation and deleted his social media accounts. Notably, he had campaigned alongside the current British Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, and was described as an “ally” of London Mayor Sadiq Khan, appearing with both at a 2022 local election launch event in Barnet.

President Donald J. Trump has designated the Antifa movement a domestic terrorist organization. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has also named four Antifa-affiliated groups in Europe as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs).

In December 2025, Attorney General Pam Bondi directed federal probes into Antifa for domestic terrorism and tax crimes, prioritising prosecutions and potential revocation of tax-exempt status for linked groups.
