Ex-Obama Aides Slam ADL for Backing Trump Deportations.

Two former Obama government officials have criticized the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) for its endorsement of President Donald J. Trump’s order to deport foreign-born students protesting Israel. The controversy follows the arrest of Mahmoud Khalil, a permanent U.S. resident with British government ties, by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the new directive targeting student protesters who support the Hamas terrorist group.

The ADL expressed its support for Khalil’s detention, citing the need for significant repercussions for those involved in activities such as providing material support to foreign terrorist organizations and inciting violence. The organization added that Khalil’s arrest should serve as a deterrent against future antisemitic protests.

Jon Lovett, a former speechwriter for President Barack Obama, openly criticized the ADL’s stance. Lovett denounced the ADL’s statement as “shameful,” emphasizing that crimes should be charged accordingly without infringing upon First Amendment rights or revoking immigration status as a form of protest punishment.

Lovett expressed his disillusionment with the ADL, suggesting that the organization no longer represents American Jewish interests, and called for financial support to be withdrawn.

Ben Rhodes, who served as deputy national security adviser under Obama, echoed Lovett’s sentiments, also labeling the ADL’s statement as “shameful.”

President Trump has also cracked down on universities that have allowed antisemitic protests on their campuses, cutting millions in federal funding.

Judge Halts Deportation of Pro-Hamas Activist Following Arrest by ICE.

A federal judge has blocked the deportation of a pro-Palestine activist recently arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Mahmoud Khalil, a graduate of Columbia University, was arrested on Saturday, March 8. However, U.S. District Judge Jesse M. Furman temporarily blocked Khalil’s deportation, stating that he would be able to stay in the United States while the court considered a habeas corpus challenge to his arrest.

“To preserve the Court’s jurisdiction pending a ruling on the petition, Petitioner shall not be removed from the United States unless and until the Court orders otherwise,” Judge Furman wrote in his order blocking separation proceedings issued late Monday. A conference hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12.

A Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesman stated that Khalil was arrested due to his activist activities, which are said to be both antisemitic and aligned with the terror group Hamas. Khalil was one of the organizers of pro-Palestine protests last spring at Columbia University.

On March 10, hundreds gathered in New York City to protest the arrest of Khalil and demanded his release. More protests are scheduled to take place over the coming days.

President Donald J. Trump commented on Khalil’s arrest on Monday, saying, “We will find, apprehend, and deport these terrorist sympathizers from our country—never to return again. If you support terrorism, including the slaughtering of innocent men, women, and children, your presence is contrary to our national and foreign policy interests, and you are not welcome here.”

Protesters Plan Flood of NY Federal Plaza After ICE Arrests.

Far-left anti-Israel activists plan to take over New York City’s Federal Plaza after the arrest of a pro-Palestine activist by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. Activists are demanding the release of Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian activist and Columbia University alumnus.

Federal immigration authorities detained Khalil over the weekend. His attorney, Amy Greer, reported that Khalil was taken from his university accommodation on Saturday evening by ICE personnel, citing the revocation of his student visa. Additionally, Greer clarified that Khalil holds permanent residency status but was detained regardless.

The move appears linked to a broader initiative under President Donald J. Trump’s administration targeting international students involved in demonstrations against Israel. President Trump told donors last year that he intended to “throw out” foreign students taking part in subversive activities on American campuses.

Murad Awawdeh of the New York Immigration Coalition criticized the arrest, claiming it unconstitutional and urging immediate action from authorities.

In response, a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesman cited Khalil’s alignment with Hamas-related activities as grounds for the arrest. Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the visas and green cards of Hamas supporters would be revoked.

President Trump’s administration has also moved to cut off federal funding to universities that permit antisemitic protests to occur on their campuses. Columbia, where Khalil had previously attended, is threatened with losing around $50 million in government contracts.

Trump Pledges to Cut Federal Funds for Colleges Permitting Antisemitic Protests.

President Donald J. Trump announced on March 4 that his administration will withdraw federal funding from educational institutions permitting illegal protests on their grounds. This announcement follows recent anti-Semitic protests at New York City campuses, including Barnard College and Columbia University.

Trump stated on his social media platform Truth Social, “Agitators will be imprisoned/or permanently sent back to the country from which they came. American students will be permanently expelled or, depending on the crime, arrested. NO MASKS!”

The administration is also threatening to terminate over $50 million in government contracts with Columbia University. Furthermore, to ensure the protection of Jewish students’ rights, grants exceeding $5 billion connected to the university will be reviewed.

Secretary of Education Linda McMahon declared that unlawful demonstrations have significantly disrupted campus operations, affecting Jewish students’ educational opportunities.

In response, Columbia University expressed willingness to cooperate with the White House to combat anti-Semitism. Earlier in the year, Columbia’s campus hosted significant anti-Israel protests amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. Attempts by university leaders to negotiate with encamped protesters were unsuccessful, necessitating police intervention.

Nationwide, similar protests emerged at various colleges from late 2023 through spring 2024. This led to the resignation of four Ivy League presidents amid public and congressional dissatisfaction.

‘African Type’ Suspect in Killing of Teen Boy Admits Guilt.

One of the suspects in the killing of a 14-year-old boy named Elias has confessed to police in Paris, France, just days after he stabbed the teen, who later died of his wounds. Authorities describe the suspects in the killing of the young teen as “African” and “West Indian” types, possibly motivated by antisemitism.

The suspects were arrested just hours after the stabbing, which took place on Friday, January 24. The pair are said to have been born in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, where the stabbing took place, and both have French citizenship.

The suspects, aged 16 and 17, allegedly attempted to steal a cell phone from the victim and stabbed him when he resisted. Elias died the following day in a local hospital.

However, some French media report there may be a deeper motive for the attack. The magazine Entrevue has stated that Elias was known to be Jewish and that the attack may have been a result of antisemitism. According to the magazine, Elias is the son of a surgeon, and they claim to have received information that both his Jewish faith and his family’s wealth may have played a factor in why the two suspects targeted him.

Antisemitism is a major problem in France, with many Jews fleeing the country due to high levels of hatred and violence in multicultural cities like Paris.

Since the October 7, 2023 attacks, antisemitism has dramatically increased to the point where French Israelis have called on Jews in France to pack up and move to Israel for their own safety.

SHOCK: New Orleans Terrorist’s Imam Has History of Extremism.

Imams of the mosque attended by New Orleans killer Shamsud Din Jabbar, who murdered at least 14 people in New Orleans on New Year’s, attacked Jews in several sermons. Jabbar was reportedly a member of the Islamic Center of Greater Houston (ICHG) – Masjid Bilal, whose imam Eiad Saudan appears to be an ardent antisemite.

In November of 2023, Imam Soudan claimed Jews take over economies wherever they go and claimed that was the reason Adolf Hitler killed them. He added that Europeans only supported Israel because they did not want Jews to come back to Europe.

In another sermon from August of last year, another imam, Mohammed ElFarooqui, gave an antisemitic sermon at Masjid Bilal, claiming the Islamic god Allah had turned Jews into monkeys, pigs, and rats for disobeying him. He added that Jews only think God watched them at the Temple in Jerusalem, saying, “So they went out everywhere on the face of this earth, started creating havoc everywhere.”

The imam then called for Muslims to “liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the hands of the plunderers.” The Al-Aqsa mosque is located on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

ISLAMIC STATE.

Following his attack on New Orleans’s famous Bourbon Street, Shamsud Din Jabbar was found with an Islamic State flag in his truck, which was filled with explosives. He was shot and killed by New Orleans police before he could detonate them.

Jabbar was also heavily armed and engaged in a gunfight with officers before his death, injuring two of them.

Born in Texas, Jabbar was a U.S. citizen and Army veteran who served in Afghanistan. Reports have stated that he also posted videos online stating intentions to kill his own family and discussed dreams that led him to join the Islamic State.

Jabbar allegedly changed his plans to make the news focus on a war between “believers and disbelievers.”

The Illegal Muslim Migrant Who Murdered a Jew Appears to Have Committed Suicide in Jail.

Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi, the 22-year-old Mauritanian national who was held on charges related to a shooting incident in Chicago, was found dead in his jail cell in what authorities describe as an “apparent suicide attempt by hanging.” The Cook County Sheriff’s Office reported that staff discovered Abdallahi unresponsive during a routine check at the facility’s medical unit. Emergency measures were implemented, and he was transported to a hospital but was subsequently declared deceased.

On October 26, Abdallahi allegedly shot a Jewish man en route to a synagogue in Chicago. The incident escalated when law enforcement and first responders arrived on the scene, and Abdallahi reportedly opened fire, shouting “Allahu Akbar” during the exchange. Although Abdallahi sustained injuries in the firefight, responding officers escaped without harm. An ambulance from the Chicago Fire Department was hit during the gunfire exchange.

Prosecutors had argued that Abdallahi was involved in a broader plan targeting several Jewish institutions, including schools and community centers. Evidence suggesting he had mapped out these locations was presented in court.

Following the shooting incident, Abdallahi was initially hospitalized due to his injuries but was later transferred to jail custody. Despite the current designation of suicide, the Illinois State Police Public Integrity Task Force is set to carry out an independent inquiry into his death. While authorities have ruled out foul play, the investigation continues to ensure all circumstances are thoroughly examined.

NO-GO ZONES: Police Chief Advises Jews, Gays to Conceal Identity.

The head of police has warned Jews and homosexuals to hide their identities in neighborhoods in Berlin, Germany, with large Arab populations who may be sympathetic to terrorist groups. Berlin Police Chief Barbara Slowik highlighted concerns over areas predominantly inhabited by people of Arab heritage who may have sympathies with anti-Israel groups.

The statement follows an altercation involving pro-Palestinian protesters and Israeli football fans in Berlin’s Neukölln district, which has a significant population of people from migrant backgrounds. The incident occurred during an under-17 match involving the Makkabi Berlin youth team, where threats were made with knives and sticks.

Neukölln is also noted for its pro-LGBT nightlife. There have been reports of attacks on gay couples in the area.

Earlier this year, reports indicated that antisemitic incidents in Berlin had hit record levels, increasing by 50 percent in 2023.

In the Netherlands, Israeli football fans faced violence in Amsterdam recently following a match between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Ajax. Anti-Jewish violence erupted on the streets, mirroring the tensions seen in Berlin. Firebrand Dutch populist lawmaker Geert Wilders likened the scenes to a “pogrom,” saying, “We have become the Gaza of Europe. Muslims with Palestinian flags hunting down Jews. I will NOT accept that. NEVER.”

Amid these incidents, Israelis traveling abroad have been advised to avoid disclosing their identity, particularly when visiting countries with significant Muslim migrant populations.

Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, warned in his 2017 book No Go Zones that areas were emerging in Europe—and even America—under de facto Sharia law, with outsiders menaced by locals and law enforcement increasingly beholden to “community leaders” to do their jobs.

Jack Montgomery contributed to this report.

Amsterdam Aflame as Pro-Palestinian ‘Youths’ Riot.

A tram has been set on fire, and at least one man attacked in the streets, as pro-Palestinian “youths” have taken to the streets of Amsterdam in the Netherlands days after prior antisemitic violence.

Groups of masked people dressed in black descended on the Plein area on Monday, November 11, and began rioting and setting off fireworks. In one case, which was caught in video, a tram had its windows smashed and was set on fire. A man on a bicycle was also attacked in the area as the rioters chanted pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel slogans.

Local police say that the violence started at around 7:15 PM and that a large group of people took part in the violence. Several arrests were made, but it is unclear how many people were arrested.

The violence comes just days after antisemitic mobs carried out attacks on Jews and supporters of the Israel Maccabi Tel Aviv soccer club. At least 62 people were arrested following that violence, which caused at least five people to be injured and was described as a “pogrom” by Dutch anti-Islamist populist leader Geert Wilders.

Five more people were arrested in neighboring Belgium in the city of Antwerp on Sunday, November 10, as authorities discovered a social media group of men trying to organize further violence against Jews.

Messages on the social media platform Snapchat indicated that people in the group wanted to take “action” against Jews in Antwerp. Anyone seen in the city’s Jewish neighborhood wearing balaclavas or carrying Palestinian flags was preemptively arrested.

Injuries and 62 Arrested After Antisemitic ‘Pogrom’ in Amsterdam.

Israel was forced to send aircraft to the Netherlands this week to rescue Israeli soccer fans who were attacked in the streets of Amsterdam, leading to five injuries and at least 62 arrests.

Videos have emerged on X and other social media platforms showing antisemitic mobs attacking supporters of the Maccabi Tel Aviv soccer club and chanting anti-Israeli slurs on Thursday, November 7.

Amsterdam Mayor Femke Halsema stated that police had to escort the Israeli soccer fans to their hotels. She added that they were targeted for violent attacks, including having fireworks launched at them.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his office sent five airplanes to Amsterdam to help the soccer fans get home.

Dick Schoof, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, who is part of a right-wing coalition with anti-Islamist Geert Wilders‘s party, said he was “horrified” by the scenes.

“This is completely unacceptable. I am in close contact with all parties involved and have just spoken to
[Prime Minister] Netanyahu by phone to stress that the perpetrators will be identified and prosecuted,” he wrote on X.

Wilders, meanwhile, called the attacks a “pogrom,” saying, “We have become the Gaza of Europe. Muslims with Palestinian flags hunting down Jews. I will NOT accept that. NEVER.”
