IN FULL

A federal agent fired his weapon during a law enforcement operation in Compton, California, on Wednesday after a suspect used his vehicle to strike officers while attempting to avoid arrest, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The incident occurred during a targeted operation to apprehend William Eduardo Moran Carballo, a Salvadoran national accused of involvement in human smuggling. DHS said Carballo had previously been arrested twice for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant and was the subject of a final order of removal issued by an immigration judge in 2019.

“In a dangerous attempt to evade arrest, this criminal illegal alien weaponized his vehicle and rammed law enforcement. Fearing for his life and safety, an agent fired defensive shots,” a DHS spokesman said. Authorities said the suspect was not hit by the gunfire and fled on foot before being taken into custody. A Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer was injured during the encounter, while the suspect was unharmed.

DHS, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), argued that sanctuary policies and ongoing violent anti-ICE protests have emboldened criminals to resist arrest. “These dangerous attempts to evade arrest have surged since sanctuary politicians, including Governor [Gavin] Newsom, have encouraged illegal aliens to evade arrest and provided guides advising illegal aliens how to recognize ICE, block entry, and defy arrest,” the agency said. The agency noted there has been a 3,200 percent increase in vehicle attacks against law enforcement.

The Compton confrontation comes amid a series of recent attacks targeting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and other federal officers. In one case, federal authorities offered a $15,000 reward for information leading to the capture of an illegal immigrant accused of ramming ICE agents with a vehicle. In another case, an illegal immigrant received a 20-year federal prison sentence for a violent assault on an ICE officer.

Additional incidents have included a California professor accused of attacking ICE agents with tear gas and a reported 1,000 percent increase in assaults on ICE personnel following a sniper attack, according to federal officials.

Iran Just Tried to Assassinate Netanyahu With a Drone.

A drone from the Iran-backed proxy group Hezbollah targeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea on Saturday. Although the drone struck near his home, neither Netanyahu nor his family was present at the time. The incident was partially captured on video, showing the drone’s proximity to an Israeli military helicopter, which appeared to be attempting to intercept it.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that this drone was one of three launched from Lebanon, with the remaining two successfully intercepted. The attack has sparked concerns about Israeli defense capabilities, as some observers noted that no warning sirens were sounded in Caesarea when the drone approached. However, sirens were heard in Tel Aviv around the same time.

Following the incident, Netanyahu released a statement on social media, asserting that such actions would not deter Israel and declaring, “We are going to win this war.” He also mentioned the recent killing of Yahya Sinwar, a Hamas leader, describing a slew of atrocities attributed to Sinwar and his associates.

Israel has been conducting IDF airstrikes in Beirut and expanding ground operations in southern Lebanon.

Palestine Flag-Wearing Man Flees on Camera as Car Bomb Hits Synagogue.

Authorities are investigating an explosion outside Beth Yaacov synagogue in La Grande-Motte in the French south as an “attempted terrorist murder.” The incident occurred on Saturday morning when two cars were set ablaze near the synagogue, one containing a concealed gas canister.

Police, citing video surveillance, reported that a man seen igniting the vehicles carried a Palestinian flag and possibly a handgun. He also appears to be wearing the Arab keffiyeh scarf also worn by far-left activists in the United States, UK, and Europe.

One police officer was injured in the explosion, which took place shortly after 8AM local time. The officer’s injuries are not life-threatening. Five individuals, including the rabbi, were inside the synagogue during the blast.

The head of the Jewish community in France, Yonathan Arfi, interpreted the attack as “an attempt to kill Jews,” suggesting it was timed to coincide with the presence of Saturday morning congregants. President Emmanuel Macron labeled the explosion a “terrorist act.”

Prime Minister Gabriel Attal and Interior Minister GĂ©rald Darmanin are slated to visit the site later on Saturday. Both officials have condemned the act, with Attal describing it as “antisemitic” and Darmanin assuring reinforced security around Jewish sites. Darmanin also pledged his support to the Jewish community and the local municipality.

The news comes a day after a mass stabbing attack in neighboring Germany, which is also being investigated as political terrorism.

At Least 3 US Troops Killed, Dozens Injured in Iran-Backed Drone Attack.

A drone attack in the nation of Jordan led to the deaths of three U.S. military service members and injured at least another 25, U.S. Central Command officials confirmed on Sunday. The overnight assault targeted a small outpost, Tower 22, in northeast Jordan near the Syrian border. It is the first time American troops have been killed by enemy fire in the region since hostilities commenced in October 2023.

U.S. forces stationed at the outpost have been engaged in an advise-and-assist mission with their Jordanian counterparts. The drone infiltration and subsequent attack prompted questions as to why the air defenses around Tower 22 failed to intercept the drone.

The loss of American life will further undermine any Biden government claims to handle national security matters well. Biden pinned the blame on Iran on Sunday, a nation which has enjoyed a loosening of sanctions and nuclear weapons development under the Biden regime.

Dutch Populist Leader Hospitalized After Violent Attack Days Before Election.

Thierry Baudet, leader of the Dutch right-wing populist “Forum for Democracy” Party, was rushed to hospital on Monday after being attacked with a glass bottle in the city of Zwolle two days before the Dutch general elections.

Baudet, 40, was treated by a trauma surgeon following the attack, which saw someone hit him on the back of the head and next to the eye with a beer bottle. His security guard also sustained facial injuries in the incident.

A spokesman for the Dutch police, Thijs de Jong, told the press authorities had apprehended someone on suspicion of involvement in the attack on Monday evening. “What we can say at the moment is that Mr. Baudet was hit on the head, possibly with an object,” he explained, though refusing to provide any further information as to the potential motive of the attacker.

“It looks like everything will all be alright,” Forum for Democracy announced after the event.

Baudet’s party claims to be anti-mass immigration, proudly nationalist, as well as skeptical of the European Union. Forum for Democracy is projected to receive between four of five seats in the Dutch parliament in the election.

The attack follows a number of other violent assaults on populist politicians in Europe, including Alternative for Germany’s deputy leader being smeared with dog excrement and the party’s Augsburg chairman being hospitalized with two black eyes and a leg brace earlier this year.

WATCH: Hamas Threatens Repeated Terror Until Israel is ‘Annihilated’.

Hamas official Ghazi Hamad has warned that the terrorist group plans on carrying out repeated violent incursions into Israel, which mirror their October 7th attack, until the country is completely ‘annihilated’.

Hamad explained Hamas “must remove that country [Israel] because it constitutes a military and political catastrophe to the Arab and Islamic nation and must be finished. We are not ashamed to say this, with full force.”

The attack that occurred on October 7, which witnessed thousands of Israeli civilians murdered or injured, codenamed Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, “is just the first time, and there will be a second, a third, a fourth… We are called a nation of martyrs and we are proud to sacrifice martyrs,” he continued.

He was asked by the interviewer whether he meant the “annihilation of Israel” when arguing in favor of ending the so-called Israeli occupation, to which Hamad calmly answered: “Yes, of course.”

There remain hundreds of people imprisoned in the Gaza Strip after being kidnapped by Hamas terrorists in the attack, one of whom, German-Israeli citizen Shani Louk, was confirmed dead earlier this week.

Attacks on US Power Grid Surge.

The number of physical and cyber attacks on the United States power grid is rapidly increasing, with the country expected to surpass the current record set in 2022 of 164 by the end of the year.

There were 94 attacks on crucial electric infrastructure grids within the first six months of 2023, which is 27 more than at the same point in 2022, according to the Department of Energy (DOE). The difference was greater still in the first quarter of this year, with a staggering 62 compared to 30 in the first three months of 2022. However, the number is likely far higher as multiple reports of attacks were not recorded in the DOE’s official figures.

“There is no doubt there’s been an uptick over the last three years in the amount of incidents and also the severity of the incidents,” stated Manny Cancel, senior vice president at the North America Electric Reliability Corp, before explaining that attacks spiked during the 2020 and 2022 election seasons.

Nine attacks this year led to major disruptions affecting up to tens of thousands of people. Last year witnessed the largest attack, which impacted over 45,000 people across three states – Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Law enforcement officials have suggested “right-wing extremism” is to blame for the majority of attacks.

SMEAR CAMPAIGN: Populist Leader Attacked With Dog Feces.

Beatrix von Storch, the Deputy Leader of the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) Party, was attacked over the weekend when a young political opponent smeared dog excrement on her stomach in front of a large audience. The incident occurred after von Storch gave a lecture in the town of Daun in the Rheinland-Palatinate on Friday evening. The attacker pretended to want a photograph with the politician before he reached into his pocket with his bare hand and smeared the excrement on her. He was quickly apprehended by the German police and is now under investigation for insult and attempted bodily injury.

Addressing the incident on X (formerly Twitter) von Storch said, “We fight with arguments, those who hate the AfD fight with feces, we oppose their hate with persuasion and the love of our country. The love has always been stronger than the hate.”

Von Storch held another event on Saturday in Hesse, which almost ended disastrously after a man tried to smuggle three knives into the discussion but was caught by the event’s security.

This was the second time in recent weeks that an AfD politician was attacked following the vicious beating of the Romanian-born chairman of the party’s Augsburg branch, Andreas Jurca, who was called a “f***ing Nazi,” and suffered two black eyes, scratches, multiple bruises, and was unable to walk without crutches.

The political rhetoric against the AfD is becoming increasingly extreme as the party continues to surge in the national polls. The German establishment is considering a ban on the party as a result.
