British Exec. Mark Thompson, Who Ignored BBC’s Savile Child Sex Abuse Scandal, is Top Choice to Lead CNN.

Mark Thompson, the former CEO of the New York Times and Director General of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), appears to be the front-runner for the top job at CNN. The corporate media outlet has been without leadership after its chairman and CEO, Chris Licht was fired in June after only a year on the job.

Thompson has a controversial history in news rooms – including accusations that he looked the other way during the investigation into child sex abuse BBC star Jimmy Savile. While serving as Director General of the BBC, Thompson became embroiled in a scandal within a scandal, telling media at the time that he was unaware that editor of the British broadcaster’s Newsnight program had abruptly canceled an investigation into decades of sexual abuse of children by network celebrity Jimmy Savile. In the aftermath, Thompson at first claimed he was unaware of the investigation entirely – only to backtrack and admit he did know about it prior to cancellation.

His track record on news judgement isn’t much better. When a Jewish family was gruesomely murdered in their beds by Palestinians terrorists, the news dominated the British press, except at the BBC were broadcasters criticized for ignoring the story entirely. When pressed on the lack of coverage of the Fogel family’s murder in the 2011 Itamar attack, Thompson said his news editors were under tremendous pressure that day and other topics took precedence. He did however offer an apology to BBC views and the Jewish community: “But I do want to say, to all our audience including our Jewish and Israeli audiences here and around the world, we do want to make sure we are fair and impartial. We made a mistake in this instance.”

In at least one regard, CNN might feel like familiar turf for Thompson with one of their former media personalities having been dogged by a workplace sexual offense himself – albeit far less vile than Savile. In 2020, CNN legal analyst Jeffery Toobin was caught masturbating on a Zoom call with colleagues at The New Yorker magazine and New York’s WNYC radio. In the fallout from the incident, Toobin took a brief leave-of-absence from CNN. In 2022, Toobin decided to give it a rest and retired from the network.

BBC Publishes Pedo Report, Then EDITS to Remove Pride, Drag History.

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has been caught repeatedly doctoring a report about a man convicted for attempting to have sex with a 14-year-old boy, scrubbing it of references to the fact the suspect is a Pride organizer and drag queen.

Sixty-one-year-old Andrew Way of Clwyd Wen in Wrexham, Wales, was described as an “ex-drag queen” in the original post from the publicly-funded broadcaster. The National Pulse confirmed, however, that when readers clicked through to the article, the headline changed from ‘Ex-drag queen caught in paedophile hunters’ sting operation’ to ‘Man caught in paedophile hunters’ sting operation’.

The text of the article also no longer contained any reference to Way being a drag queen, although it did confirm the pedophile “had also been organising the first-ever gay Pride event for Welshpool, Powys.” Hours later, The National Pulse observed that this, too, had been “stealth-edited” out of the article, with no editor’s notes informing readers of the changes.

The BBC press office has been asked who ordered the article to be doctored to remove these details, and why, but had issued no response as of the time of publication.

Like many suspected pedophiles in the United Kingdom, Way was arrested following a sting by citizen investigators rather than the police. The group in this case is called The Guardian Angels. The BBC did not credit them by name, instead referring to them as “vigilante paedophile hunters”.

Way’s sentencing judge noted he had been previously been handed a sexual harm prevention order in 2007 but had treated it with “utter disregard” and had repeated unsupervised contact with a two-year-old. He was only given a 34-month sentence, however, much of which will be served out of prison on licence.

AI Just Wants to be Your Friend, Claims BBC.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) “friends” could have “many benefits”, according to the BBC. The publicly-funded broadcaster noted they are “available at any time” and will never get tired of “hearing the same complaints about your job or partner” – but admitted such “companions” could have ulterior motives.

The BBC’s writer also suggested AI could “help people think through difficult situations, practice social skills and provide insightful feedback,” despite conceding it has “no mind” on “inner experience,” just the “capacity to imitate the words and behaviors of those who can think and feel.”

Britain’s Prime Minsiter Rishi Sunak has said that AI could develop to the point where it can “kill many humans” within two years, though his government is still poised to give AI a huge role in organizing the country’s socialized healthcare system, helping schedule appointments, diagnose disease, and transcribe medical notes.

In America, a U.S. Air Force colonel recently said an AI drone “killed” its human overseer to avoid his commands in a simulation. The Air Force later denied the exercise took place.

Unnamed BBC ‘Star’ Embroiled in Teen Sex Pics Scandal.

A well-known, though hitherto unnamed, male presenter on the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has been suspended following allegations he paid upwards of £35,000 ($45,000) to a 17-year-old girl for ‘sexual pictures’.

The now suspended presenter – said to be known to millions of Britons – allegedly solicited “performances” from the teenage girl to which the girl would “get [her] bits out” on video calls or via text message. Allegations were also made that the presenter stripped down to his underwear and asked for pictures while at work. On one occasion the man is said to have transferred a whopping £5,000 ($6,500) to the girl’s bank account.

The girl’s family made a formal complaint to the BBC earlier this year regarding the matter, asking bosses to demand an end to the behavior. Yet, the individual remained on the air until the story surfaced late last week.

“I blame the BBC man for destroying my child’s life… [t]aking my child’s innocence and handing over the money for crack cocaine that could kill my child,” the girl’s mother told the British daily newspaper The Sun, which broke the story.

On Monday evening, a lawyer representing the alleged victim told the BBC her mother’s story was “rubbish” and that “nothing inappropriate” took place.

“For the avoidance of doubt, nothing inappropriate or unlawful has taken place between our client and the BBC personality and the allegations reported in the Sun newspaper are rubbish,” the lawyer claimed in a statement.

BBC’s Historic ‘Traditional Gender Roles’ Kids Show Now Pushes Pride, Drag Queens.

The BBC’s popular children’s television show – Blue Peter – aired an episode showing kids discussing sexuality alongside drag queens, and featured an ‘LGBTQ+ inclusive community choir’ singing ‘Born This Way’ by Lady Gaga.

Blue Peter – named for its original maritime “adventure” theming – is the world’s longest-running children’s TV show, dating back to the 1950s. The daily show has typically taught kids about food, arts and crafts, sports, and even traditional gender roles. “Leila played with dolls; Chris played with trains,” historian Asa Briggs wrote of the program.

In 2023, however, the BBC’s flagship kids show broadcast footage of a “pride” celebration, where a man identifying as a woman explained: “It’s what happens in Pride month, come together to celebrate our difference and to celebrate also what makes us the same.”

“Pink picnic is a grassroots Pride celebration whether you’re LGBTQ+, whether you’re an ally, and it’s a family-friendly event as well, so we include absolutely everybody,” explains a drag queen in bright make-up and a skin-tight, sequined dress. Another drag queen wearing an outlandish outfit can be seen on stage introducing the choir.

The camera then cuts to multiple children discussing the event and what they enjoy most about Pride. One girl – who appears to be around the age of ten – tells the camera, “[i]t shows loads of different people, like if you’re gay, lesbian, transgender, anything, it’s like representing that you’re you and it’s good to be different.”

WATCH:

The show was aired in the same week that transgender activists at a New York City Pride parade chanted “we’re coming for your children.”

Fearful Comey Admits ‘Smarter Trump’ Will Be ‘Retribution President’.

Former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) director James Comey confessed his fear that Donald Trump will be “smarter” and will seek retribution against the weaponized administrative state if he regains the White House in 2024.

Comey explained to BBC Radio 4 on Tuesday morning that the prospect of Trump being nominated as the Republican candidate for 2024 was “very concerning,” alleging the former president “represents a threat to fundamental aspects of the American republic.”

The prospect of Trump actually being reelected, Comey continued, was “deeply chilling, because he will be the ‘retribution president’… smarter than he was last time.”
