Europe Melts Down After Trump Says U.S. ‘Will Take Over the Gaza Strip.’

Western Europe’s leading governments are in panic after President Donald J. Trump suggested the United States will “take over the Gaza Strip,” with its Palestinian residents relocating—possibly never to return—while the area is cleared of unexploded ordnance and redeveloped. “The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it, too. We’ll own it, and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site, and get rid of the destroyed buildings, level it out, [and] create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area, do a real job, do something different,” Trump said at a press conference alongside Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday, adding: “Just can’t go back. If you go back, it’s going to end up the same way it has for 100 years.”

Purporting to speak on behalf of “the [Group of Seven], the European Union, and the United Nations,” Germany’s Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said that “the civilian population of Gaza must not be expelled and Gaza must not be permanently occupied or repopulated.” She insisted, “Expelling the Palestinian civilian population from Gaza would not only be unacceptable and contrary to international law” but “lead to new suffering and new hatred.”

The French government said it opposes “any forced displacement of the Palestinian population of Gaza,” and the British government said the Palestinians must “live and prosper in their homelands in Gaza, in the West Bank.”

President Trump has suggested Gazans should relocate to neighboring Egypt and Jordan, asking, “Why would they want to return? The place has been Hell; it’s been one of the meanest, toughest places on earth.”

However, Egypt and Jordan have previously indicated they do not want to take in any Palestinians, with Egyptian officials previously threatening to “send them to Europe” if they end up on their territory.

Netanyahu Claims Credit for Fall of Assad.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has taken credit for the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government in Syria from a speech delivered from the Golan Heights—where Israeli forces have seized territory formerly occupied by the Syrian Arab Army. “This collapse is the direct result of our forceful action,” Netanyahu declared.

Calling the takeover of Damascus by Hayʼat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), a rebrand of former al-Qaeda branch al-Nusra, an “historic day for the Middle East,” Netanyahu said: “The collapse of the Assad regime, the tyranny in Damascus, offers great opportunity but also is fraught with significant dangers… [It] means that we have to take action against possible threats.”

Chief among these is the Separation of Forces Agreement from 1974 between Israel and Syria, he said, which “collapsed” when Assad’s army “abandoned its positions.”

“We gave the Israeli army the order to take over these positions to ensure that no hostile force embeds itself right next to the border of Israel. This is a temporary defensive position until a suitable arrangement is found,” he claimed.

“If we can establish neighborly relations and peaceful relations with the new forces emerging in Syria, that’s our desire. But if we do not, we will do whatever it takes to defend the State of Israel and the border of Israel,” he added.

Israeli forces have launched a series of strikes described as “very intensive” by Israeli press sources since Assad’s ouster, devastating the country’s air defenses and supposed “strategic weapons sites.”

HTS’s Turkey-backed leaders, who are mainly Sunni Muslims, have pledged they will not persecute minorities following their takeover. However, members of the Alawite minority, which Assad hailed from, as well as Christians, Druze, and others, may attempt to flee to Europe to avoid reprisals in the coming weeks and months.

Even Hamas’s Founder’s Own Son Says The Netanyahu Arrest Warrant is Absurd.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his former defense minister Yoav Gallant, and a Hamas military chief. In response to these developments, Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of one of Hamas’ founding members, blasted the “corruption” of the ICC, stressing the “absurdity” of the Hamas arrest warrant, considering he is already “a corpse.”

“Hamas leaders are in Turkey right now,” Yousef observed. However, instead of bringing these “war criminals” to justice, he said, the ICC is putting pressure on Israel.

Yousef argued the Israeli military has done everything it can to minimize civilian casualties in the densely populated Gaza Strip. In contrast, Hamas “did everything within their ability to maximize the civilian casualties, then they exaggerated the numbers, they lied to the international community, and they played on the emotional nerve of the West.”

Lefty Filmmaker Agrees Biden is Pushing America to WWIII.

Far-left filmmaker and anti-corporate activist Michael Moore is blasting the Democrats and Joe Biden, accusing the 82-year-old president of further destabilizing the world and fomenting conflict. In a letter addressed to Biden, Moore challenged what he perceives as Biden’s emerging legacy, warning that the lame duck leader could start World War III.

“Instead of using your precious little time left to do something to HELP THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, your first action after Trump won was to fast track the delivery of over $6 Billion in weapons to Ukraine,” Moore, the director of the anti-gun film Bowling for Columbine, writes.

“Then, you called up Zelensky and gave him the green light to start firing long range ballistic missiles into a country with a massive amount of nuclear weapons, Russia. Then, as if that weren’t enough carnage for one week, you authorized the use of antipersonnel land mines in Russia,” he continues.

“LAND MINES, Joe? Seriously? THIS is your legacy? This is how you want to go out? In a blaze of horror? Like, if Joe’s gotta go, we all gotta go with him… right into World War III?” the left-wing filmmaker adds.

Moore goes on to condemn the Biden-Harris government for opposing a move by 19 senators to block U.S. weapons shipments to Israel. He lambasts allegations from Biden’s team labeling these senators as Hamas sympathizers.

Moore also expresses disapproval of the U.S. decision to obstruct a U.N. call for a ceasefire in Gaza, slamming Biden’s refusal to endorse an International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Earlier this year, Moore accused Biden of supporting ethnic cleansing due to U.S. support for Israel’s war against Hamas.

International Criminal Court Issues Arrest Warrant for Netanyahu.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and a prominent Hamas leader. The ICC, headquartered in the Netherlands, accuses Prime Minister Netanyahu of war crimes and crimes against humanity related to the protracted conflict in Gaza following the October 7 assault on Israel by Hamas in 2023.

Netanyahu branded the court’s decision “absurd and false.” He asserted that Israel’s actions in Gaza are justified.

The ICC’s move designates Netanyahu and the others as internationally wanted figures. However, the practical impact of these warrants is dubious. Neither Israel nor its primary ally, the United States, are members of the ICC. The Hamas official the court is seeking has reportedly already been killed in the ongoing conflict.

The ICC claims there is evidence that Netanyahu and Gallant were responsible for attacks targeting civilians. Among the alleged crimes is the use of starvation as a method of warfare.

The ICC relies on member states to enforce arrests, lacking its own policing capacity. Israel has consistently rejected the court’s jurisdiction, and it seems unlikely Britain and other Western ICC members will take Netanyahu into custody.

The warrants come after the ICC also issued similar arrest warrants for Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and others in March of 2023, arguing that Russia had kidnapped children from Ukraine.

Russia, like Israel and the United States, is not a current signatory to the Rome Statute and does not recognize the authority of the ICC, as the country withdrew its support in 2016. No country has yet to attempt to arrest President Putin, either.

Iran Just Tried to Assassinate Netanyahu With a Drone.

A drone from the Iran-backed proxy group Hezbollah targeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea on Saturday. Although the drone struck near his home, neither Netanyahu nor his family was present at the time. The incident was partially captured on video, showing the drone’s proximity to an Israeli military helicopter, which appeared to be attempting to intercept it.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that this drone was one of three launched from Lebanon, with the remaining two successfully intercepted. The attack has sparked concerns about Israeli defense capabilities, as some observers noted that no warning sirens were sounded in Caesarea when the drone approached. However, sirens were heard in Tel Aviv around the same time.

Following the incident, Netanyahu released a statement on social media, asserting that such actions would not deter Israel and declaring, “We are going to win this war.” He also mentioned the recent killing of Yahya Sinwar, a Hamas leader, describing a slew of atrocities attributed to Sinwar and his associates.

Israel has been conducting IDF airstrikes in Beirut and expanding ground operations in southern Lebanon.

BoJo: Bibi Bugged My Bog.

Former British Prime Minister and Ukraine war enthusiast Boris Johnson is insinuating that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may have planted listening devices in his personal restroom in 2017 when Johnson served as Foreign Secretary. Johnson alleges that his security team uncovered bugging devices in the restroom after the Israeli leader made use of the facilities.

Johnson details this episode in his book Unleashed, where he refers to Netanyahu as “Bibi.” He recounts a meeting in his former office where Netanyahu excused himself to use the restroom, which Johnson described as akin to “the gents in a posh London club” and located within a “secret annex.”

Johnson has been asked for more information about the incident but declined to provide further details, saying everything pertinent to the episode could be found in his book. Official sources have not expanded upon Johnson’s discovery of the device and subsequent claims, and no further investigations have been reported.

The Foreign Office has not issued any statements regarding the alleged bugging incident. Israeli officials and other involved parties are also yet to respond to the allegations made in Johnson’s book.

Since leaving electoral politics, Johnson has focused on drumming up support for Ukraine in its conflict with Russia. Earlier this year, he spoke on the war during a small breakout session at the Republic National Convention to a mostly empty crowd.

Johnson, who scuppered peace talks in 2022, later met with President Donald J. Trump to lobby for Ukraine.

‘Integrity’ Award-Winning, Taxpayer-Funded Reporter Forced to Apologize For Inventing Fake Trump Story.

PBS correspondent and former NewsHour anchor Judy Woodruff is retracting the false comments she made on air in which she claimed former President Donald J. Trump was purposefully hampering the Gaza ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas for political gain. Woodruff, who was covering the Democratic National Convention (DNC), claims she was referencing reports by Axios and Reuters when she stated that Trump was encouraging Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to delay peace talks until after the November election.

“The reporting is that former President Trump is on the phone with the prime minister of Israel, urging him not to cut a deal right now, because that, it’s believed that would help the Harris campaign,” Woodruff said during Monday’s PBS NewsHour coverage of the DNC.

Following denials by the Trump campaign and the Israeli Prime Minister’s office, Woodruff posted a retraction and apology on X (formerly Twitter). “I want to clarify my remarks on the PBS News special on Monday night about the ongoing cease-fire talks in the Middle East,” the former NewsHour anchor said, continuing: “As I said, this was not based on my original reporting; I was referring to reports I had read, in Axios and Reuters, about former President Trump having spoken to the Israeli Prime Minister.”

“In the live TV moment, I repeated the story because I hadn’t seen later reporting that both sides denied it. This was a mistake, and I apologize for it,” Woodruff added.

PBS receives significant funding from American taxpayers through the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). In the fiscal year 2024, Congress appropriated $525 million to the CPB, with $367 million subsequently being earmarked for funding public television programming. PBS has not yet issued a formal statement regarding Woodruff’s remarks or her subsequent apology.

WATCH: Pro-Hamas Protestors Pull Down, Burn American Flags in Washington, D.C.

Pro-Hamas protestors who demonstrated outside the U.S. Capitol while Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed Congress pulled down several American flags flying at nearby Union Station and set them alight. The American flags were replaced by Palestinian flags, which were hoisted up the flag poles outside the major transportation hub.

Several hundred demonstrators gathered on the National Mall in what began as a relatively calm protest. It turned aggressively violent after the Israeli prime minister finished his speech. Police are reported to have made several dozen arrests as law enforcement clashed with the protestors.

The pro-Hamas demonstrators—some of whom have flown the Hamas flag—continued to taunt the police outside the major Washington, D.C. transportation hub.

A man who claimed to be a local attorney ran into the heart of the protest, grabbed one of the burning flags, and proceeded to try to sprint past the protestors. One pro-Hamas demonstrator was able to chase him down and take back most of the burning flag. However, the attorney did make it out of the scrum, having preserved a small corner of Old Glory.

Unions Demand Biden-Harris Government Stop Arming Israel Amid Netanyahu Visit.

Several major unions representing millions of workers sent a letter to the White House on Tuesday, July 23, calling for an end to U.S. military aid to Israel. It argues that halting military aid l is crucial for achieving peace in the Middle East, as previous ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas have not succeeded.

“We demand an immediate ceasefire. The best way to achieve this is by cutting off U.S. military aid to Israel,” Mark Dimondstein, president of the American Postal Workers Union, wrote.

During the 2024 Democratic presidential primary, the United Food and Commercial Workers—with a membership exceeding 50,000, endorsed an ‘uncommitted’ stance in Washington State’s party nomination contest. A similar push was made in Michigan as well, with Muslim and Arab-American leaders warning then-candidate Joe Biden he was close to losing the state.

The continued pushback from unions and other Democrat constituencies means Harris will face the same electoral problem that plagued Biden. Harris must decide to either appease the more progressive, pro-Hamas base and alienate moderate voters and donors or risk swing states like Michigan and Minnesota by staking out a more pro-Israel path.

An attempt by the Biden-Harris government to provide humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the Gaza territory proved to have little to no effect. A pier where aid could be received, constructed by U.S. military engineers, was in service for only a handful of weeks before storms wrecked it. It is now in the process of being permanently dismantled.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in the United States to address a joint session of Congress this week. The Israeli leader is scheduled to meet with Biden on Thursday and former President Donald J. Trump on Friday.
