BREAKING: Hunter Biden Changes Plea to GUILTY in Tax Fraud Case.

Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, has entered a guilty plea in his federal tax fraud case. The entry of the guilty plea is not believed to be part of a plea deal with the Department of Justice (DOJ). Specifically, Biden’s attorneys filed an Alford plea in which their client acknowledges prosecutors have enough evidence to convict him, though he does not formally admit to the criminal acts.

The guilty plea means Biden, 53, could face upwards of 17 years in prison. However, the entry of a guilty plea does give some leverage to his attorneys in negotiating with the federal court on sentencing. Jury selection in the tax fraud trial was set to begin today, with opening arguments slated to start next week in California.

According to witnesses in the court at the time, the lead federal prosecutor informed the judge that this was the first time the DOJ had heard of the decision to change the plea to guilty.

In January of this year, Hunter Biden was arraigned on nine federal tax charges in Los Angeles on January 11. DOJ Special prosecutor David Weiss alleges Joe Biden’s son “[E]ngaged in a four-year scheme to not pay at least $1.4 million in self-assessed federal taxes he owed for tax years 2016 through 2019” and “spent millions of dollars on an extravagant lifestyle at the same time he chose not to pay his taxes.”

Reports suggest Joe Biden is considering pardoning his son in his tax and firearms cases, or commuting his sentences. Such a move would be less immediately damaging to the Democrat politically now he is not running for reelection.

This story is developing.

Frank Biden Said ‘Hero’ Brother Stepped Down for Health Reasons, So Biden’s Camp Smeared Him as an Alcoholic.

Joe Biden‘s youngest brother, Francis ‘Frank’ Biden, is being attacked by the President’s family for suggesting health issues contributed to his decision to abandon the presidential race.

“I am incredibly proud of my brother. Selfishly, I will have him back to enjoy whatever time we have left. He is a genuine hero; country over self. It sounds corny in our cynical political environment but [neither] he nor I are cynical. The goal remains the same: defeat Trump and continue the work that Joe has done. My hope is that our party rallies around this heroic act,” Frank Biden told CBS.

CBS asked if Frank believes his older brother’s “overall health and vitality” played a role in his decision to step aside. Frank responded, “In my humble opinion, absolutely.”

In response to this generous statement, a “Biden family source” tore into the President’s younger brother, saying: “Frank Biden suffers from alcoholism and hasn’t spoken to his brother in weeks. What he said… is completely untrue.”

Joe Biden portrays himself as a Catholic family man but deals with relatives who cross him ruthlessly. He refused to even acknowledge the existence of his granddaughter Navy, born to a stripper his son Hunter had an affair with until the liberal press attacked him for his callousness towards the child earlier this year.

The animosity between Biden and Michelle Obama over the Biden family’s mistreatment of Hunter’s wronged ex-wife Kathleen Buhle also resulted in the Obamas withholding stronger support for his reelection bid.

Biden’s closest confidantes as he attempted to remain in the presidential race over recent weeks have been First Lady Jill Biden and Hunter, a convicted felon and former crack addict.

Michigan ‘No Longer Winnable’ After Debate Disaster, Admits Top Dem!

Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) set off alarm bells within Joe Biden‘s re-election campaign Friday night, informing campaign chair Jennifer O’Malley Dillon on a phone call that she believes Michigan is no longer winnable for the 81-year-old Democrat incumbent. The Michigan Democrat also insisted on the call with O’Malley Dillon that she was not looking to supplant Biden as the Democratic presidential nominee.

The fallout from Biden‘s confused and impaired performance during last Thursday’s presidential debate left Democrats scrambling on how to mitigate the damage—especially down-ballot in November. Meanwhile, Whitmer‘s phone call to O’Malley Dillon appears to be the first shot fired in a looming intra-Democratic Party civil war should Biden be forced out of the race. The Michigan governor is one of several state-level Democrats expected to be considered an emergency replacement for the presidential nomination.

Over the weekend, the Biden family huddled at Camp David as dissent within the Democratic Party simmered. Family members lashed out at top campaign staffers, urging the 81-year-old Joe Biden to either fire or demote several influential advisors. Among those in the Biden family’s crosshairs are the White House’s senior communications advisor, Anita Dunn, and former White House chief-of-staff Ron Klain, who currently serves as an informal campaign advisor.

The criticism of Dunn, a former director at the powerful progressive consulting firm SKDK, suggests Joe Biden‘s family intends to exert greater control over the campaign and White House and push out those they view as not sufficiently loyal to their interests. Dunn is a close ally of former President Barack Obama, serving as a senior advisor on his 2008 campaign and as his White House’s communications director.

Michelle Obama Refused to Campaign for Biden, And Here’s Why…

Sources say Former First Lady Michelle Obama is not campaigning for Joe Biden because the Biden family mistreated Hunter Biden’s ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle. Buhle and Mrs. Obama have maintained a friendship since Barack Obama’s presidency.

Buhle’s 2022 memoir and 2017 divorce filings detailed Hunter Biden’s adultery and drug abuse. She also participated in the First Son’s recent federal gun trial, which ended in a guilty verdict.

Axios sources say the Biden family “deeply resented” Buhle’s memoir. The Bidens are still in a legal dispute with her over $1.7 million to $2.9 million in unpaid alimony and legal fees. Michelle Obama is said to be “frustrated” with the Biden family’s treatment of Buhle, considering she is the victim of Hunter’s serial infidelity, which often involved the use of prostitutes and put Buhele’s health at risk.

A Biden spokesman claims “the Biden and Obama families are like family,” dismissing reports of a rift—but a representative of Mrs. Obama was more equivocal, saying the former first lady supports Biden’s re-election while stressing her friendship with Buhle.

“Two things can be true,” they said.

In her memoir, Buhle detailed how Hunter attempted to conceal his alcoholism and grew irate when confronted. She also recounted discovering Hunter’s affair with his dead brother Beau’s widow, Hallie.

While Joe Biden portrays himself as a family man, he is ruthless with the women in Hunter’s life. Until July 2023, he refused to acknowledge the existence of his granddaughter Navy, born to a stripper with whom Hunter had an affair, despite a court-ordered paternity test proving Hunter’s paternity.

“I have six grandchildren, and I’m crazy about them, and I speak to them every single day,” the Democrat bragged in April 2023, despite the fact he has seven grandchildren including Navy.

Hunter Biden Drops Laptop Lawsuit Against Rudy Giuliani.

Hunter Biden is dropping his lawsuit against Rudy Giuliani and Giuliani’s former lawyer, Robert Costello. The lawsuit accused the defendants of manipulating data on Hunter’s “laptop from hell.” Jurors recently convicted Hunter of three felony counts for lying about his drug abuse when purchasing a firearm in 2018, with prosecutors using evidence from the laptop to support their case.

Abbe Lowell, representing Hunter Biden, filed a stipulation for dismissal “without prejudice” on Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. The stipulation requires each party to bear its attorneys’ fees, costs, and other expenses. Attorneys for all involved parties have accepted the dismissal agreement.

Hunter abandoned the laptop at a computer repair shop in Wilmington, Delaware. Shop owner John Paul Mac Isaac initially turned the laptop’s hard drive over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and made a copy, which was later provided to Costello. Giuliani subsequently supplied the data to the media.

The Democrats and their allies worked hard to suppress the laptop, with social media platforms censoring the story and 51 members of the “intelligence community” publishing a letter claiming it appeared to be disinformation. The signatories to the letter have refused to retract these claims despite the fact they have proven false.

Initially filed in September of the previous year, Hunter Biden’s lawsuit sought more than $75,000 in damages in addition to attorneys’ fees and other penalties. The case alleged that Giuliani and Costello had violated the federal Computer Fraud and Abuse Act by hacking and manipulating data from the laptop, amounting to an invasion of Hunter Biden’s digital privacy.

Joe Sibley, Giuliani’s attorney, asserted that the dismissal vindicates his client, Costello, and media outlets that previously faced criticism for reporting on the laptop’s contents in 2020.

Hunter Biden’s Gun Charge is An Attempt to Blunt Trump’s Lawfare Complaints.

Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, predicted Hunter Biden’s conviction in Delaware on Monday. He believes the First Son is unlikely to receive a paternal pardon this side of the November election.

“There is a circumstance where, if they want to show that there is some equal justice under the law here, they might try and pull the wool over people’s eyes and say, ‘No, look, you know, Hunter Biden has to pay a fine as well for breaking the law,'” Kassam told Dinesh D’Souza.

“I don’t think Joe will try and attempt a pardon… I’m not certain, I’ll say, where this case is going, but what I think is certain is that there isn’t going to be a presidential pardon if Hunter is convicted,” he added.

Hunter was convicted of all charges against him, related to unlawful firearms possession while abusing drugs, in Delaware early Tuesday. He faces further charges for tax crimes in California later this year.

Biden stressed his “boundless love,” “confidence in,” and “respect for” the “strength” of his son prior to the verdict, while insisting he would not pardon him.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has also claimed Biden will not pardon the First Son.

Hunter Biden Jury Selection Starts.

Jury selection for the federal gun case against Hunter Biden, son of Joe Biden, begins Monday. The trial comes after a “sweetheart” plea deal with prosecutors fell apart when Judge Maryellen Noreika interrogated its unusually generous terms.

Hunter has been charged in Delaware with three felonies related to a 2018 firearm purchase. His memoirs say he was abusing crack cocaine during this period. The First Son is accused of lying to a federally licensed gun dealer, falsely claiming he was not a drug abuser on his firearm application, and possessing the gun illegally for 11 days.

He has pleaded not guilty, alleging the Justice Department is unfairly targeting him despite the special treatment in his now-defunct plea deal.

During jury selection, the judge will question prospective jurors about their political activities and views on the upcoming election, as well as their opinions on firearms purchases and drug addiction.

Separately, Hunter is also facing a California trial in September for allegedly failing to pay $1.4 million in taxes. The aforementioned plea deal would have dealt with these charges as well.

FAMILY BUSINESS.

Hunter’s upcoming trials do not center on his foreign business deals. Joe Biden allegedly played a role in these, indicating broader corruption within the Biden family.

Messages Hunter exchanged with a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) official from Joe Biden’s Delaware home before he became President show Hunter threatening, “I am sitting here with my father, and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled… [I] will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.”

Joe Biden has long denied any involvement in his son’s business schemes. However, Rep. James Comer’s House Oversight Committee found Hunter’s China-linked Owasco PC firm made “direct monthly payments to Joe Biden.”

Jim Biden and Qatar Are Closer Than You Might’ve Thought…

James ‘Jim’ Biden, brother of Joe Biden, has deeper links to the Qatari government than previously disclosed. Fund manager Michael Lewitt, a former business partner of Jim Biden, testified that Jim directly partnered with one company owned partly by Qatar. A second company part-owned by Qatar backed the loans that disgraced hospital chain Americore paid the Biden brother to facilitate.

Lewitt, Jim Biden, and Platinum Group CEO Amer Rustom courted numerous potential funders for Americore in the Middle East. Meanwhile, Qatar sought friends in the West after being sanctioned by its neighbors for sponsoring terrorism. It became the main focus of Jim Biden’s efforts, according to an Americore executive.

“My family could provide a wealth of introductions and business opportunities at the highest levels that I believe would be worthy of the interest of His Excellency,” Jim Biden wrote in a 2017 draft letter to an official at Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund.

Implying his influential brother had a stake in these dealings, he added: “On behalf of the Biden family, I welcome your interest here.”

AMERICORE.

Jim Biden confirmed he “agreed to go to Qatar, Saudi Arabia and China (at my own expense)” in another email addressed to Grant White, Americore’s CEO.

Americore paid roughly $600,000 to Jim Biden. $200,000 of these payments were transferred to Joe Biden, supposedly to repay a loan.

Jim Biden frequently used his brother to promote Americore. He also “spoke of plans to give his brother equity in Americore… and install him on its board.” Americore collapsed in 2019 partly due to his failure to raise money in the Middle East.

Its hospitals suffered dangerous shortages, and it faces criminal proceedings related to $100 million in Medicare fraud.

Impeachment Investigators Subpoena Over a Decade of Hunter Biden Phone Records.

The Republican-led House Oversight Committee has subpoenaed AT&T for 13 years of Hunter Biden’s phone records.

“The Oversight Committee has identified payments made by Hunter Biden for what appear to be bills associated with his own use, and a cellphone line for his father’s use,” Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer wrote in a letter to AT&T.

“Based on records reviewed by the Committees, the total amount paid by Hunter Biden for his father’s use appears to be over $15,000, which was for a personal line Joe Biden utilized while Vice President.”

Critical testimony in the impeachment inquiry comes from Devon Archer, a business associate of Hunter Biden at Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings. Archer testified Hunter would put his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, on the phone during business meetings with some regularity, and there is suspicion the elder Biden used his political influence to protect his son’s business interests in Ukraine.

Investigators seek to establish whether Joe Biden communicated with his son’s business associates and whether specific calls coincided with certain business meetings.

“The subpoenaed records will help the Oversight Committee determine whether Joe Biden abused his office by selling access and/or by receiving payments or other benefits in exchange for official acts, which is a critical aspect of the impeachment inquiry,” Comer explained.

Hunter Biden Staying Sober to Save Democracy… So He Says.

Hunter Biden has suggested he may be facing “the ultimate test for a recovering addict,” as slipping back into alcohol and drug abuse could damage his father, Joe Biden, in the upcoming presidential race.

“I often do think of the profound consequences of failure here,” Hunter told Axios, adding: “I have something much bigger than even myself at stake. We are in the middle of a fight for the future of democracy.”

The First Son, 54, said he was “in awe of people who have stayed clean and sober through tragedies and obstacles few people ever face,” describing such people as “my heroes, my inspiration.”

Negative commentary on Hunter Biden has not focused primarily on his substance abuse issues, however, except insofar as he has been perceived as receiving special treatment from law enforcement and prosecutors.

House Republicans and others have instead focused on possible impropriety concerning Hunter using his father to secure lucrative business opportunities and allegations his father abused public office to advance his family’s business interests.
