BREAKING: Congress Reaches Govt Funding AND Debt Limit Deal, Trump Praises!

A deal to avert a partial government shutdown has reportedly been reached in Congress after Republican lawmakers scuttled the initial continuing resolution (CR), which had ballooned to over 1,500 pages and contained a plethora of Democratic Party spending priorities. The new CR essentially cuts the entirety of the extraneous add-ons from the first bill but does include several provisions for much-needed disaster relief for the victims of several recent hurricanes and healthcare extenders.

While the agreement’s details are not officially public, it appears the funding compromise will suspend the debt ceiling for two years into 2027—a major ask of President-elect Donald J. Trump to avoid handing Democrats legislative leverage in the initial months of his administration. Following the leak of what is including the CR, Trump—in a post on Truth Social—praised the plan, urging lawmakers to back it.

“SUCCESS in Washington!” Trump declared, adding: “Speaker Mike Johnson and the House have come to a very good Deal for the American People. The newly agreed to American Relief Act of 2024 will keep the Government open, fund our Great Farmers and others, and provide relief for those severely impacted by the devastating hurricanes.”

The President-elect continued: “A VERY important piece, VITAL to the America First Agenda, was added as well – The date of the very unnecessary Debt Ceiling will be pushed out two years, to January 30, 2027. Now we can Make America Great Again, very quickly, which is what the People gave us a mandate to accomplish.”

“All Republicans, and even the Democrats, should do what is best for our Country, and vote ‘YES’ for this Bill, TONIGHT!” Trump concluded.

Mexico’s Leftist Prez Bends the Knee, Will Accept Mexicans Deported by Trump.

Far-left President Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico says her country will accept Mexican nationals deported from the United States under incoming President Donald J. Trump. The concession is a significant win for Trump and his border czar, Tom Homan, who plan to initiate one of the largest immigrant enforcement operations since President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1954.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Mexico’s Foreign Affairs Ministry said the Sheinbaum government “is prepared to work in coordination with federal, state, and local authorities in the face of possible mass deportations.” The ministry added: “We reaffirm the responsibility and obligation of the Mexican State to our fellow citizens so that they can have the confidence that they will be received in the manner they deserve in the face of present and future challenges.”

The move comes as President-elect Trump is threatening to enact economically crippling tariffs on imports to the U.S. from Mexico and Canada unless the two countries increase security at the U.S. southern and northern borders. Following the threat, Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau pledged to step up border actions, and earlier this week, the country confirmed it would budget $1.3 billion for new border security measures.

Meanwhile, in the weeks following the 2024 presidential election, Sheinbaum has spoken numerous times with Trump. The Mexican president has allegedly pledged to turn back illegal immigrant caravans from Central and South America as they attempt to traverse her country toward the U.S. border.

However, Mexico continues to assert it will not act as “a safe third country” for illegal immigrants from other nations being deported from the United States.

Biden State Dept Rushing to Enact DEI Initiatives in Embassies Before Trump Inauguration.

The U.S. State Department, under the leadership of Secretary of State Antony Blinken, has issued a diplomatic cable that outlines new initiatives promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the agency. Dated November 19, the internal cable emphasizes initiatives including establishing “reflection rooms” and “all-gender restrooms” at American embassies abroad.

Circulated to all diplomatic and consular posts, the cable forms part of the Biden-Harris government’s broader efforts to entrench DEI initiatives within the federal government before President-elect Donald J. Trump takes office in January. The message details the establishment of reflection rooms in both domestic and overseas facilities and encourages facility managers to identify opportunities for repurposing existing restrooms.

The initiatives are part of Blinken’s so-called Modernization Agenda, which advocates for a resilient and inclusive work environment. Specific processes are recommended for modifying restrooms while considering host country customs and norms.

The State Department has invested approximately $80 million in programs to advance racial equity and tackle supposed gender and sexuality discrimination. Internal discussions among career officials at the State Department are believed to be ongoing regarding preserving DEI initiatives against moves by President-elect Trump to end the radical, leftist programs.

BREAKING: Georgia Court Removes Fani Willis from Trump RICO Prosecution.

A Georgia state court of appeals has ruled that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her office should be removed from the state prosecution against President-elect Donald J. Trump and his associates over allegations they interfered in the 202o presidential election. Previously, Fulton County Judge Scott McAffee had ordered either Willis or her lover and special prosecutor, Nathan Wade, to resign from the case. Wade promptly left the legal action.

“After carefully considering the trial court’s findings in its order, we conclude that it erred by failing to disqualify DA Willis and her office,” the appellate panel writes, continuing: “The remedy crafted by the trial court to prevent an ongoing appearance of impropriety did nothing to address the appearance of impropriety that existed at times when DA Willis was exercising her broad pretrial discretion about who to prosecute and what charges to bring.”

“While we recognize that an appearance of impropriety generally is not enough to support disqualification, this is the rare case in which disqualification is mandated and no other remedy will suffice to restore public confidence in the integrity of these proceedings,” the court added, concluding: “Accordingly, we reverse the trial court’s denial of the appellants’ motion to disqualify DA Willis and her office. As we conclude that the elected district attorney is wholly disqualified from this case, ‘the assistant district attorneys — whose only power to prosecute a case is derived from the constitutional authority of the district attorney who appointed them — have no authority to proceed.'”

The appeals court, however, denied Trump’s motion to dismiss the RICO case on due process grounds, although other dismissal motions are still pending.

This Senate Republican Wants to Block Illegal Immigrants from Public Benefits.

New legislation to restrict access to public benefits for individuals illegally residing in the United States has been put forward by Senator Mike Lee (R-UT). Lee’s proposal, referred to as the “America First Act,” seeks to amend the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act. The bill would bar illegal immigrants in the U.S., including asylum seekers and individuals granted parole, from being eligible for various public benefits.

The bill is part of a broader effort coordinated by President-elect Donald J. Trump and Congressional Republicans to end incentives for foreign nationals to enter and stay in the country illegally. In effect, Lee’s legislation could result in many of those in the U.S. illegally self-deporting to their home country.

“Millions of illegal immigrants ‘paroled’ into the United States, many for fraudulent asylum claims, have gained the ability to access welfare and aid programs originally designed to help American families, not attract and support massive populations of foreign citizens,” Sen. Lee said in a statement announcing the bill. The Utah Republican continued: “The America First Act pulls the plug on this criminal redistribution scheme forced upon the American people by Joe Biden and generations of dishonest politicians.”

Lee’s proposal complements plans made by Trump and his border czar, Tom Homan, to deport the 11 to 20 million illegal immigrants currently unlawfully residing in the U.S. On Monday, Homan met with New York Democrat Mayor Eric Adams to discuss how local and state officials can aid the initial phase of deportations targeting primarily violent illegals.

Trump and Vance Slam Speaker Johnson’s Spending Bill: ‘A Democrat Giveaway.’

President-elect Donald J. Trump and Vice President-elect J.D. Vance have weighed in on the controversial continuing resolution (CR) being pushed by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) to avert a partial government shutdown on Saturday. The two America First leaders accused Johnson of “a Democrat giveaway” while arguing  Congressional Republicans blundered by suspending the debt ceiling through January 1, 2025.

“The most foolish and inept thing ever done by Congressional Republicans was allowing our country to hit the debt ceiling in 2025. It was a mistake and is now something that must be addressed,” the incoming President and Vice President wrote in a statement published on Vance’s X (formerly Twitter) account. They continue: “Meanwhile, Congress is considering a spending bill that would give sweetheart provisions for government censors and for Liz Cheney. The bill would make it easier to hide the records of the corrupt January 6 committee—which accomplished nothing for the American people and hid security failures that happened that day. This bill would also give Congress a pay increase while many Americans are struggling this Christmas.”

Republicans want to support our farmers, pay for disaster relief, and set our country up for success in 2025. The only way to do that is with a temporary funding bill WITHOUT DEMOCRAT GIVEAWAYS combined with an increase in the debt ceiling. Anything else is a betrayal of our country,” Trump and Vance insist.

However, the pair do not appear entirely for a so-called ‘clean’ continuing resolution. Instead, they insist on attaching a debt ceiling increase to the spending bill. “If Democrats won’t cooperate on the debt ceiling now, what makes anyone think they would do it in June during our administration? Let’s have this debate now. And we should pass a streamlined spending bill that doesn’t give Chuck Schumer and the Democrats everything they want,” they argue.

Would-Be Trump Assassin Ryan Routh Almost Killed Girl, Six, During Escape, Feds ‘Stonewalling’ State Investigators.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody announced on Wednesday that Ryan Routh, who attempted to assassinate Donald J. Trump on September 15, faces an attempted felony murder charge for causing severe injuries to a six-year-old girl during his escape. However, she complains the federal authorities have “stonewalled” the state-level investigation into Routh.

Following the assassination attempt, Routh fled north on Interstate 95, leading to law enforcement shutting down traffic in both directions. His apprehension in Martin County precipitated a multi-car crash on the highway, which nearly resulted in the death of the young girl.

Moody stressed that Florida investigators faced significant resistance in their efforts to independently investigate Routh’s actions, saying the state authorities “offered to be a partner” to the federal authorities, but “we immediately were confronted with a lack of willingness to allow us access to the crime scene, an unwillingness to provide evidence that was collected, an unwillingness to allow us to accompany witness interviews, and the list goes on and on.”

“[P]rosecutors and federal agents… made known that they intended to shut down our investigation and invoke federal jurisdiction in doing so,” she added.

FROM THE TOP.

Martin County Sheriff William Snyder described this obstruction as political, originating from “way above the men and women of the FBI.”

“This was not normal from our federal partners. This was not ground-level FBI agents. This came from much higher, way above those FBI agents,” he said.

Governor Ron DeSantis is backing Moody, saying, “The feds have stonewalled Florida’s investigation of the Trump assassination attempt at every turn, and I appreciate AG Ashley Moody and her team for plowing forward despite such resistance. The tide will turn on January 20th and we fully expect that the federal roadblocks will be removed.”

In October, Florida filed a lawsuit against the Biden-Harris Department of Justice and Attorney General Merrick Garland for obstructing Florida’s investigation.

UN Inspector Warns Iran Nears Nuclear-Armed State Status.

Rafael Grossi, Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), claims Iran is nearing the point where it should be considered on par with nuclear-armed nations. According to the IAEA Director-General and U.N. weapons inspector, the rogue Islamic Republic is believed to be near the point where it can enrich uranium for military use—including the development and production of nuclear weapons.

“It has uranium at 60 percent—90 percent is military grade—and is thus practically at the same level as nuclear-armed states,” Grossi warned earlier this week. Meanwhile, earlier this month, the Biden government admitted its Iran policy has failed to deter the Islamic Republic from continuing its pursuit of nuclear weapons. The December report, released by the Office of the United States Director of National Intelligence, alleges that “Iran now has enough fissile material to make more than a dozen nuclear weapons.”

The continued increase in uranium enrichment levels suggests Iran ignored restrictions put into effect by the 2015 nuclear deal and clandestinely continued to develop military-grade fissile material. In 2018, President Donald J. Trump withdrew from the agreement, opting instead for a maximum pressure campaign against Iran. This included aggressive sanctions, which largely crippled the Iranian economy and likely left the country’s government unable to afford continued weapons development.

From 2018 to 2021, Iran went from exporting roughly 1.8 million barrels of crude oil daily in 2017 to a historic low of under 500,000 barrels per day in 2020. In addition, the Trump sanctions cut Iran’s GPD nearly in half between 2017 and 2020, dropping from almost $500 billion to just $240 billion.

Last month, the United Nations (UN) censured Iran after the country announced it is set to initiate a program that will develop “new and advanced” centrifuges used in uranium enrichment.

GOP Lawmakers Blast Speaker Johnson’s Continuing Resolution, Will Need Dem Support to Pass.

Congressional Republicans are lining up in opposition to a new government spending proposal to prevent a partial shutdown on Saturday, December 21, 2024. Subsequently, Republican lawmakers are voicing their disdain for the stop-gap spending measure, hammering the bill as an omnibus masquerading as a continuing resolution (CR).

Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) sarcastically suggested that conservative Republicans should create an OnlyFans account, commenting on how often they feel disregarded. “Conservative Republicans should start an OnlyFans account considering how often we get screwed… The CR is a bad deal,” the Florida Republican wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Meanwhile, Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) demanded his colleagues oppose the bill after the legislative language was made public. In a social media post, Sen. Lee shamed fellow Republicans for backing the spending measure: “Like a dog to its vomit, big-spending Republicans in Congress are returning to what’s familiar & neglecting what’s necessary.”

Adding to the chorus of critique, Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) stated his intent to oppose the proposal. Gosar described the CR as a “garbage” document, making clear his refusal to support it. Meanwhile, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) called it a “Christmas CR lump of coal.” Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) also affirmed her opposition with a simple “nope.”

Similarly, Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) criticized Republican leaders, arguing they failed to introduce a clean CR. The Florida Senator noted that House and Senate leadership’s lack of fiscal restraint illustrates why the country needs President-elect Donald J. Trump and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). An initiative set up by Trump to tackle government spending and waste, DOGE is being advised by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy. Musk voiced his opposition to the spending bill as well.

Trump Warns Liz Cheney ‘Could Be in a Lot of Trouble’ After J6 Witness Tampering Report.

President Donald J. Trump has warned former Congresswoman Liz Cheney “could be in a lot of trouble” after a congressional report accused her of tampering with January 6 Committee witness Cassidy Hutchison. The Committee on House Administration’s Subcommittee on Oversight found that Cheney, then the Vice Chairwoman of the January 6 Committee, “tampered with at least one witness, Cassidy Hutchinson, by secretly communicating with Hutchinson without Hutchinson’s attorney’s knowledge.”

“Liz Cheney could be in a lot of trouble based on the evidence obtained by the subcommittee, which states that ‘numerous federal laws were likely broken by Liz Cheney, and these violations should be investigated by the FBI,'” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, offering thanks to subcommittee chairman Rep. Barry Loudermilk on for “a job well done.”

Specifically, the subcommittee report says Cheney’s “secret communication with a witness [was] improper and likely violates 18 U.S.C. 1512.”

Fellow Trump administration turncoat Alyssa Farah Griffin often acted as a go-between for Hutchinson and Cheney, with conservative commentators such as Jack Posobiec questioning whether Griffin helped Cheney to persuade Hutchinson to change her testimony. The subcommittee report suggests Hutchinson likely perjured herself while giving testimony to the January 6 Committee—but the FBI’s failure to turn over crucial documents has made this difficult to verify definitively.

Infamously, Hutchinson claimed President Trump “lunged” for the steering wheel of the presidential limousine after his driver refused to take him to the Capitol on January 6—a claim the driver categorically refuted in evidence to the January 6 Committee, which was suppressed until March this year.
