Thune Claims Gaetz AG Confirmation Is Uncertain.

Senate Majority Leader-designate John Thune announced Thursday that the confirmation of former Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) as the next U.S. Attorney General remains uncertain. President-elect Donald J. Trump nominated Gaetz on Wednesday, leading the ex-congressman to step down from his House seat.

Thune remarked that it is uncertain whether Gaetz would secure the necessary backing for Senate confirmation. He emphasized the importance of the Senate Republicans’ thorough evaluation, saying, “I don’t know until we start the process, and that’s what we intend to do with him and all the other potential nominees.”

Senator Mike Rounds (R-SD) expressed caution, citing concerns over the Justice Department’s prior investigation into Gaetz, which was ultimately dismissed. Additionally, Gaetz faced a politically motivated inquiry by the House’s Ethics Committee before his resignation. Rounds suggested, “Most certainly, it would be concerning because it’s part of his file.” Gaetz has repeatedly asserted his innocence regarding all investigations.

The National Pulse reported on Thursday that Federal Trade Commission chairwoman Lina Khan—appointed to office by Democrat President Joe Biden—is backing Gaetz’s nomination. Both Khan and Gaetz are critics of Big Tech and have advocated using antitrust to end the anticompetitive practices of companies like Google and Meta.

A Biden Govt Official Is Backing Matt Gaetz’s Nomination for U.S. Attorney General?!

Federal Trade Commission (FTC) chairwoman Lina Khan—appointed to office in 2021 by President Joe Biden—is backing President Donald J. Trump’s choice to nominate Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) as the next U.S. Attorney General. The endorsement, which stunned political progressives and members of the Democratic Party, came during the FTC’s Open Meeting on Thursday.

“I’m grateful and appreciative of the bipartisan support from the network, including Vice President-elect Vance and former Congressman Gaetz, who I understand was just announced as the future Attorney General. That will be terrific for the bipartisanship work to continue,” Khan said.

While it is unusual for prominent figures in a presidential administration to openly back political appointees put forward by the opposing party, it is even more rare to see such an occurrence for roles like Attorney General and for someone seen as a partisan firebrand like Rep. Gaetz. However, Khan’s open support of the former Florida Congressman’s nomination is a rare example of populist bipartisanship in Washington, D.C.

Khan’s aggressive approach to antitrust action and her ongoing battle for consumer privacy against data brokers has earned her praise from a handful of House and Senate Republicans. Gaetz has gone so far as to say that he hopes Khan will continue to chair the FTC under President-elect Trump, noting: “Her work against data brokers has been very important. Her work against some of the consolidated market power that hurts consumers has really inspired me.”

Prior to his nomination as Trump’s running mate, Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) heaped praise on Khan’s antitrust work, stating: “I probably am one of the few Republicans who thinks Lina Khan is doing a good job. I think she has some justifiable concerns about corporate concentration.”

PHARMA FAILS: RFK Will Lead MAHA Revolution from HHS.

President-elect Donald J. Trump has selected former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The former Democrat, who backed Trump on a ‘Make America Healthy Again’ platform, is a noted skeptic of Big Pharma and strongly advocates for greater vaccine safety and fewer adulterants and seed oils in the food supply.

“I am thrilled to announce Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as The United States Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). For too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation, and disinformation when it comes to Public Health,” the President-elect said of the appointment.

“The Safety and Health of all Americans is the most important role of any Administration, and HHS will play a big role in helping ensure that everybody will be protected from harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceutical products, and food additives that have contributed to the overwhelming Health Crisis in this Country,” he continued. “Mr. Kennedy will restore these Agencies to the traditions of Gold Standard Scientific Research, and beacons of Transparency, to end the Chronic Disease epidemic, and to Make America Great and Healthy Again!”

Kennedy’s selection as HHS Secretary represents a major blow for health technocrats in the same vein as Dr. Anthony Fauci, whom he heavily criticized, and the pharmaceutical corporations. Big Pharma is believed to have favored former Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R), an HHS assistant secretary under George W. Bush, for the position. Notably, the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America was funding Jindal’s think tank, America Next, as long ago as 2015.

Clinton & Obama Economist Admits Illegal Immigrants Suppress Wages.

Former Bill Clinton administration Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, who also served as Director of the National Economic Council under Barack Obama, is tacitly admitting that the federal government and state governments tolerate illegal immigration because it suppresses the wages of American workers. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Democrat economist and former President of Harvard University argued that President-elect Donald J. Trump’s plans to deport illegal immigrants en masse would tighten the labor market. Summers contends the subsequent rising wages would be inflationary.

“I think every sensible American thinks we need to do more to secure our border. But if you’re talking about deporting millions of people, that is an invitation to labor shortage and bottlenecks,” Summers wrote on Thursday. He added: “I hope Trump will get the message from this election and adjust his program so that it is not inflationary. I certainly hope that if his program is inflationary, it will not be accommodated by the Federal Reserve.”

Summers’s post exemplifies the likely line of attack corporate lobbyists and  Democrats on Capitol Hill will take against Trump’s immigration crackdown. However, his argument belies the fact that rising wages would cause the inflationary pressures he is referring to—an acknowledgment that mass immigration, and especially illegal immigration, is used to artificially keep the cost of labor lower than its actual market value.

The National Pulse previously reported that the unchecked flow of cheap illegal immigrant labor likely had a deflationary effect in late 2023. Even more concerning, government data suggests a large swath of the native-born American workforce has been replaced by foreign-born labor under Joe Biden, potentially increasing the downward pressure on wages further.

Adios! Eva Longoria Relocates Family Abroad, Calls U.S. ‘Dystopian’.

Actress Eva Longoria has relocated with her family outside the United States, now splitting time between Mexico and Spain. In a recent interview, the actress cited the deterioration of living conditions in California as the impetus for her family’s departure from the country, noting the increasing homeless population and high taxes. However, she said President Donald J. Trump’s re-election was the final straw.

“I had my whole adult life here. But even before [the coronavirus pandemic], it was changing. The vibe was different,” Longoria said. “And then COVID happened, and it pushed it over the edge. Whether it’s the homelessness or the taxes, not that I want to shit on California—it just feels like this chapter in my life is done now.”

The Hollywood celebrity, who first achieved fame on the show Desperate Housewives, was an outspoken supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), during the 2024 presidential election. “The shocking part is not that he won. It’s that a convicted criminal who spews so much hate could hold the highest office,” Longoria said regarding President-elect Trump’s landslide victory last week.

“If he keeps his promises, it’s going to be a scary place,” the actress said. Longoria has long been an advocate for mass immigration and open borders policies.

Exemplifying Hollywood entitlement, Longoria feigned shock that many Americans disagree with her political preferences, saying, “It was like, ‘Does my vote really matter? Am I really making a difference?'”

Longoria says that while she has been able to relocate outside the U.S., most Americans are not so lucky: “They’re going to be stuck in this dystopian country, and my anxiety and sadness is for them.”

Center for Countering Digital Hate Deletes X Account After Musk Declares ‘War’ & Trump’s Victory.

The Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), a United Kingdom-based nonprofit group that purports to combat online hate and misinformation, has joined the growing ranks of far-left media figures and organizations that have deleted their X (formerly Twitter) accounts. Following President-elect Donald J. Trump’s landslide victory in the 2024 U.S. presidential election—in part aided by a Super PAC funded by X owner Elon Musk—several high-profile Democrat-aligned media personalities, including Joy Reid and Don Lemon, have left the platform.

CCDH has long been at the center of a network of radical progressive activists and organizations pushing to censor the voices of populists and conservatives online under the guise of countering political misinformation and hate speech. In 2020, the group was partially responsible for Google’s decision to ban The Federalist and ZeroHedge from generating revenue through Google Ads. “We found that lots of those companies are inadvertently funding through their advertising content that is outright racist in defense of white supremacism and contains conspiracy theories about George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement,” the CEO of CCDH, Imram Ahmed, said at the time. Ahmed has also deleted his personal X account.

More recently, CCDH was responsible for the AI image generator Midjourney’s decision to block users from creating images featuring either Joe Biden or Donald Trump. Using language often employed by CCDH, the company claimed the decision was to prevent the spread of “misinformation.”

The National Pulse reported in October that Musk declared “war” on the Britain-based censorship group after internal documents surfaced showing CCDH intended to launch an effort to destroy his social media platform. According to the files, CCDH has set “Kill Musk’s Twitter” as a top priority heading into 2025.

Matt Gaetz Once Joked About Being AG. Here’s What He Said…

President-elect Donald J. Trump’s nominee for Attorney General, Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL), once joked about the idea that he’d one day lead the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). Gaetz made the prognostication while riffing on his political future during the “Forbidden” COVID-19 pandemic New York Young Republicans Club annual gala.

“I’d be easy on marijuana and tough on Big Tech; wouldn’t that be a nice reversal?” Gaetz joked. He continued: “If necessary, I’d fire every little shitkicker at the J. Edgar Hoover building and send them all packing.”

“If you really want to drain the swamp, hire a Florida man,” Gaetz cracked, adding: “We’ve drained plenty of swamps in Florida, and we know how to finish the job. Just like the alligators in the Everglades, D.C. swamp creatures have spent seemingly millennia adapting to their surroundings. They can be very dangerous if not properly handled.”

The Florida Congressman told the crowd, “But we know the swamp truly isn’t drained until the hides of the gators are hanging on the wall.”

Meanwhile, announcing Gaetz as his pick for Attorney General on Wednesday, Trump said: “Matt will end Weaponized Government, protect our Borders, dismantle Criminal Organizations and restore Americans’ badly-shattered Faith and Confidence in the Justice Department.”

“He is a Champion for the Constitution and the Rule of Law,” the President-elect added.

Boris Johnson Claims Republicans Have ‘Homoerotic’ Fascination with Putin.

Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson alleges some Republicans with President-elect Donald J. Trump’s ear have a “weird homoerotic fascination” with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin. The British Conservative complains that “factions within the Republican Party… think [Putin is] an all-around stand-up guy, and they love his manly Christianity.”

“It’s complete nonsense. He’s a tyrant and a kleptocrat and a murderer and a very, very dangerous and bad man,” complains Johnson, a Ukraine fanatic who heaped praise on the neo-Nazi Azov Brigade in London recently.

Johnson also alleges Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is among those “whispering a lot of absolute nonsense” to President-elect Trump about ending the war in Ukraine. Orbán, a national conservative leader far friendlier to Trump than Johnson—who smeared the America First leader during his initial run for the presidency and welcomed his replacement by Joe Biden—has long advocated de-escalation and a peace deal in Ukraine, fearing the war’s impact on Ukraine’s Hungarian minority and European energy security.

Johnson has suggested British troops may have to be sent into Ukraine if Trump reduces American aid to the Eastern European country. However, after years of cutbacks under Johnson’s Conservative Party, the British Army would be unlikely to make a significant difference on the battlefield, even if deployed in its entirety due to its incredibly small size.

Brexit Britain May Avoid Trump Tariffs.

The United Kingdom could find itself exempt from President-elect Donald J. Trump’s tariff plans, with the America First leader having an affinity for the Brexit movement and several British leaders, including King Charles III and Reform Party leader Nigel Farage. Trump’s historical support for Brexit was at the core of an argument recently made by Governor Phil Murphy (D-NJ) during an appearance on Sky News.

“Donald Trump [has] some sympathy with the renegade who has courage. I think there’s some of that. I think that’s a card that can be played. We’ll see,” Murphy said, having traveled to Britain for an economic mission trip on behalf of the State of New Jersey. The Democrat governor, however, also suggested that not every nation enjoys Trump’s sympathy.

“If I’m China, I’m fastening my seatbelt right now,” Murphy said.

Throughout the 2024 election, Trump has said he intends to enact an aggressive U.S. trade policy with substantial import tariffs. The tariffs could reach up to 60 percent on Chinese products and 20 percent on goods from other countries.

LABOUR’S FOLLY.

Trump’s affinity for British leaders likely does not extend to those currently serving in the country’s Labour Party government. British Foreign Secretary David Lammy has infamously refused to apologize for previously calling Trump a “neo-Nazi sympathizing sociopath” and “tyrant.” Meanwhile, several other government ministers led a 2019 effort demanding that the then-Tory government cancel an official state visit by Trump.

Additionally, during the 2024 election, Labour staffers traveled to the U.S. to campaign on behalf of Trump’s opponent, Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris.

While the United Kingdom could be spared the brunt of Trump’s tariff plans, the European Union (EU) will likely be a top target. On the 2024 campaign trail, Trump proposed the “Trump Reciprocal Trade Act,” which would enforce a 10 percent tariff on all European imports unless they lower their own tariffs on U.S. goods.

Trump Names Tulsi Gabbard Director of National Intelligence.

President-elect Donald J. Trump is appointing Tulsi Gabbard, the former Democratic presidential candidate, as Director of National Intelligence. The Iraq War veteran, noted for her opposition to neoconservative “forever wars,” campaigned for Trump during the 2024 presidential election, arguing a vote for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris was tantamount to “a vote for Dick Cheney.”

“I am pleased to announce that former Congresswoman, Lieutenant Colonel Tulsi Gabbard, will serve as Director of National Intelligence,” Trump confirmed in a statement on the appointment, adding: “For over two decades, Tulsi has fought for our Country and the Freedoms of all Americans.”

“As a former Candidate for the Democrat Presidential Nomination, she has broad support in both Parties – She is now a proud Republican! I know Tulsi will bring the fearless spirit that has defined her illustrious career to our Intelligence Community, championing our Constitutional Rights, and securing Peace through Strength. Tulsi will make us all proud!” he added.
