CNN’s Debate Rules Are Ludicrous – No Audience, Muted Mics, And a Coin Flip…

CNN has finalized rules for the first 2024 presidential debate, with safeguards in place to protect Joe Biden.

The details: Both the Trump and Biden campaigns agreed to the following rules for their first debate on June 27 in Atlanta, moderated by Jake Tapper and Dana Bash:

  • No studio audience;
  • Microphones muted outside speaking time;
  • Candidates stand at two uniform podiums;
  • Position on stage determined by coin-flip;
  • No props or prepared notes;
  • Each is provided paper, pen, and water;
  • During two commercial breaks, candidates can’t interact with campaign staff.

Safeguards for Biden: Muting microphones and removing the audience appear to be moves to help Joe Biden. In both 2016 and 2020, Trump routinely jabbed his opponents and debate moderators, often eliciting laughter and cheers from the audience.

  • However, I am pleased that both candidates must stand the entire time. And I look forward to Biden having to speak without prepared notes.

Third party? CNN noted it is not “impossible” for Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be featured on the debate stage. He would need to be on the ballot in enough states to reach 270 electoral college votes. He’s currently in six states, totaling 89 potential electoral votes.

Migrant Crime

MIGRANT CRIME ROUND-UP: Corrupt Border Guards, Chinese Triads, and Grandma Killers.

Over the past week, new evidence has further validated Donald Trump’s description of migrant crime as a “new category of crime.” The National Pulse has uncovered numerous instances of illegal aliens committing crimes and sapping public resources, fraying America’s social fabric.

GANGS MAP.

On Friday, reporters published a map showing the explosion of transnational criminal organizations across the U.S., fueled by the illegal immigration crisis.

The map shows the brutal Tren de Aragua gang, which first emerged in the prisons of Venezuela, operating in cities including Chicago, Miami, and New York. It shows ultra-violent Mexican cartels, in particular the Sinaloa and Jalisco cartels, operating in all 50 states. It even reveals that Chinese Triads are running extensive drug farms run by de facto slaves in states as far from the southern border as Washington and Maine. The crime syndicate has links to “hundreds” of properties in the Pine Tree State.

The extent of the crime map provides firm evidence for Trump’s warning that “every state is a border state” now.

GRANDMOTHER AND DAUGHTER.

Jose Medina-Hernandez is charged with mowing down Nancy Richmond, an 88-year-old grandmother-of-five, and her daughter Crystal Brunn, 63, in Shelby Township, Michigan.

The National Pulse has covered many examples of illegals, often intoxicated, killing Americans on the roads, including children. Medina-Hernandez’s case stands out as he had reportedly been issued a driver’s license despite the fact that “Michigan law requires an individual be ‘legally present’ to be issued a standard driver’s license.”

“It’s extremely alarming to think Secretary Benson may be unlawfully issuing licenses to illegal immigrants,” commented Republican State Senator Joseph Bellino.

Republicans are concerned about illegals obtaining documents allowing them to vote in U.S. elections, despite the fact this is technically illegal, due to similar weaknesses in the vetting process for registering to vote.

PICKPOCKETING EPIDEMIC.

New York is suffering a huge wave of pickpocketing, with the New York Police Department (NYPD) logging 781 complaints so far in 2024. This is a substantial increase on the 650 pickpocketing complaints they had received by the same time last year–and still underestimates the true scale of the epidemic, with many victims feeling that reporting pickpocketing is a waste of time.

Raymond Kelly, former Police Commissioner of New York City, complained, “There are no consequences for virtually anything these days,” adding that migrants are “augmenting” the crime wave.

Democrat district attorneys such as Manhattan’s Alvin Bragg, responsible for Donald Trump’s sham conviction, seem uninterested in deterring genuine criminals, downgrading over half of the felonies presented to him by police to misdemeanors.

INFILTRATORS.

U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement (ICE) and the Joint Terrorism Task Force of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested eight Islamic State terrorists in cities as far-flung as Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and New York City.

The jihadists all hail from Tajikistan, the home country of the ISIS terrorists responsible for the March terror attack at Crocus Hall, near Moscow, that left over 140 Russians dead. The FBI and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) warned in May that the U.S. is at risk of a similar attack.

One of the Tajiks arrested in the U.S. had been at large for at least six months. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) initially detained all of them but later released them. Authorities discovered their terror links afterward, highlighting the dangers of allowing illegal aliens to remain free for years while their asylum claims are processed.

TRAFFICKED DAUGHTER.

Elia Antonio and Juan Carlos Rocha Mejia are facing multiple pedophilia charges; the former for “knowingly attempt to provide or transport a child”—his 12-year-old daughter—”for the purpose of commercial sex act,” the latter for first-degree child sex assault, child enticement, false imprisonment, and strangulation and suffocation.

Antonio reportedly told his daughter to “wear something nice” before she was blindfolded, tied up, and abused in Oakfield, Wisconsin. She later escaped to a nearby home, where they called the police.

FOXES GUARDING THE HENHOUSE.

Illegal immigration and drug smuggling are big business for cartels and so-called “coyote” people-smugglers—so big that organized criminals are increasingly able to pay off U.S. officials.

A jury has convicted former CBP officer Leonard Darnell George of receiving bribes, conspiracy to import drugs, and migrant smuggling. He allowed at least 19 cars packed with hundreds of pounds of methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl, as well as illegal aliens, through the San Ysidro Port of Entry near San Diego, California, over a period of six months.

George received a minimum of $13,000 for each vehicle he waved through. He blew much of the money on motorbikes, jewelry, and “showering” strippers with money at the Hong Kong Gentleman’s Club in Tijuana, Mexico.

Gen Z Shifts: Farage’s Reform Party Surpasses Conservatives With Young Voters.

Nigel Farage’s Reform Party has surpassed Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s Conservatives (Tories) in recent opinion polls, including among younger voters. According to a YouGov survey, Reform is more than twice as popular as the Tories among the 18- to 24-year-old age group, at 15 percent support to the Tories’ 7 percent.

Reform not only leads the Conservatives among the youngest voters but also among those aged 25 to 49, at 15 percent to 12 percent. In the 50- to 64-year-old age group, Reform is at 22 percent, while the Tories are at 16 percent. Sunak’s party only leads among the over 65s, with 34 percent support against 23 percent for Farage’s party.

Farage has bolstered his political resurgence with a strong presence on social media, particularly TikTok, where millions of people have viewed his videos. A recent TikTok post featuring Farage humorously singing lyrics from an Eminem song received 17,600 likes and 597 comments within an hour. Reform is also outperforming the Tories on Facebook, with users sharing their posts 53,000 times compared to 31,000 shares for the Conservatives.

GLOBAL PHENOMENON.

Farage’s growing support among young people mirrors that of his friend and ally Donald Trump in the U.S. While the youth vote was a key demographic for Joe Biden in 2020, his lead among young Americans has been slashed, with young Americans increasingly disillusioned with the Democrat’s economy and foreign policy.

Like Farage, Trump has embraced TikTok, where he reaches many more people than his 81-year-old rival—despite joining it much more recently.

“He’s reaching young people in a way like never before,” said Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, in a recent War Room appearance. Biden and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. have failed to cut through in the same way because they lack Trump’s authenticity.

Young people are also embracing the populist right in Europe. The Konfederacja (Confederation) party was the top choice of young Poles in the recent European elections, and the German political class is in panic over the viral song Ausländer Raus (foreigners out) sweeping the country.

Maybe the Kids Are Alright…

Poll after poll indicates young voters are warming to Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. Are they coming around to his policies—or has Biden driven them away from his own? It could be both.

The numbers: According to the latest NY Times polling, young voters [age 18-29] prefer Biden by just two points, 47 percent to 45 percent. The latest Quinnipiac poll has Trump beating Biden with young voters [age 18-34], 48 percent to 4 percent.

For perspective: In the 2020 presidential election, Joe Biden took the youth vote by 24 percent. A Republican has not won this demographic since 1988.

Biden’s losing message: Aidan Kohn-Murphy, the founder of a group called Gen Z for Change, which backed Biden in 2020, told the Washington Post, “Biden is out of step with young people on a number of key issues.” Three key issues are:

  • The war in Gaza, where 51 percent of young voters support the Palestinians vs. 15 percent for Israel.
  • Biden’s support for a TikTok ban is being received as an assault on free speech. 67 percent of Gen Z say this makes them less likely to vote for him.
  • Economy: High inflation and interest rates have made food and housing costs unreasonable for young people entering the workforce or trying to buy their first time.

Trump’s winning message: The 45h president’s message is resonating with young voters.

  • Gaza: While he backs Israel, he has promised to bring a peaceful end to the war in Gaza and points to his first term’s four years of peace as proof that he can.
  • TikTok: He joined TikTok earlier this month and reminds young voters that Biden wants to shut the platform down.
  • Economy: When asked earlier this month how they felt about Trump’s handling of the economy, 65 percent of young voters approved versus just 33 percent for Biden.

TikTok vibe check: According to CredoIQ, a social media analytics firm, nearly 25 percent of the top left-learning content creators on TikTok have posted anti-Biden content in the first four months of 2024. Those posts have gained over 100 million views.

  • Most of the anti-Biden content is being created by young, non-White liberals who have a “shared ideology that the U.S. Government, and specifically Joe Biden, want to stop the flow of free speech and information

Anyplace, anytime In 2016, Trump broke through political orthodoxy with an ‘anyplace, anytime’ mentality that saw him dominate cable TV airwaves. In 2024, he’s adapted that mentality to new media—appearing on podcasts and YouTube shows, attending live events like UFC and Formula 1, and making campaign stops at bodegas, firehouses, and in the South Bronx.

Trump Capturing Young People Through Authenticity… And TikTok!?

Donald Trump is surging in popularity on the controversial TikTok app, and this is helping to drive his growing support among young people, argues Raheem Kassam. The Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse believes Trump is cutting through on the platform, where Biden has been courting influencers for years, because of his natural authenticity.

“Steve, you and I don’t like it, but we’re big enough and ugly enough to admit… there are gains to be made [on] TikTok,” Kassam told War Room host Stephen K. Bannon. “I’m not on TikTok; I don’t encourage anybody to go on TikTok—but look at the way that younger people are responding to President Trump on TikTok,” he continued.

Kassam cited Trump’s viral face-off with YouTube personality, WWE wrestler, and influencer boxer Logan Paul, which has been viewed by millions of people.

“He’s reaching young people in a way like never before,” Kassam said, noting rivals like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. have failed to replicate this success because “there’s no authenticity,” while “Trump cuts through all the time.”

“Every piece of anecdotal evidence is showing us that young people are more and more interested in what the political right, the nationalist, populist right, has to say,” he stressed.

Kassam also discussed the rise of the right in Europe, where young Germans singing Ausländer Raus (foreigners out) has gone viral, and parties like Poland’s populist Konfederacja (Confederation) party are now the top choice of 18-29-year-olds.

“Young people have realized their youth has been stolen” by Covid restrictions, debt, and the “mass importation of cheap migant labor that is rendering people with not a lot of honest work at their doorstep,” he explained.

RFK Jr. Vows to Slash U.S. Defense by 50% – ‘Military Spending is a Constant Drain.’

In a speech at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library in California, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced his plan to cut military spending in half. “Military spending is a constant drain on our nation’s vitality,” Kennedy stated, arguing that Americans should not be “obsessed with the idea of our nation’s strength.”

Kennedy urged Americans to accept a diminished role in international affairs and prepare for a multipolar world. “We seem to think that we’re still where we were—in the same world as in 1991,” he said, referencing the end of the Cold War.

Kennedy’s promise to drastically reduce national security spending contrasts sharply with global trends. Military expenditure worldwide has reached a 35-year high, partly due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the rise of China. However, Kennedy believes that much of the U.S. defense budget should be redirected toward addressing “an epidemic of chronic disease, a plague of addiction, and historic economic inequality” at home.

The former Democrat, who briefly challenged Joe Biden for the Democratic nomination, holds a position starkly different from that of Donald Trump, the leading presidential candidate. Despite Trump’s commitment to swiftly ending the wars in Ukraine and Gaza if re-elected, and his record as the first president since the 1970s who did not start any new wars, he increased military spending, following Ronald Reagan’s doctrine of “peace through strength.”

DATA: Trump Leads Biden by 10 Points With Critical Arizona Demographic.

A new survey by the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) indicates former President Donald J. Trump holds significant leads over 81-year-old incumbent Joe Biden among likely voters in Arizona, particularly those aged 50 and older. In a five-way race involving third-party candidates, 45 percent of likely voters supported Trump, while just 37 percent backed Biden.

Among voters aged 50 and above, 49 percent favored Trump compared to 39 percent who supported Biden. In a direct head-to-head matchup, Trump maintains his advantage with 50 percent of likely adult voters backing him versus Biden’s 44 percent. In the same head-to-head contest, voters over 50 again preferred Trump, with 52 percent support, to Biden’s 43 percent.

The AARP poll further reveals that 58 percent of voters over age 50 disapprove of Biden‘s job performance, with only 41 percent expressing approval. In contrast, 55 percent of voters over 50 view Trump‘s job performance as president favorably, with 44 percent saying they disapproved.

Immigration and border security remains the foremost concern for 41 percent of voters aged 50 and above heading into the upcoming election. This issue surpasses concerns about inflation and rising prices, which stand at 28 percent, and threats to democracy, which stand at 27 percent.

In the 2020 presidential election, Biden narrowly won Arizona, defeating former President Trump by just over 20,000 votes. However, evidence of voting irregularities and potential fraud has led some to question the veracity of the election results. The National Pulse reported in April that a run-away grand jury handed down a bevy of indictments against allies of former President Trump who disputed the integrity of the state’s presidential election vote.

Young Thug Rapper Trial Chaos Suggests Fani Willis’s Ethical Lapses Go Well Beyond Trump Prosecution.

The ethical lapses in Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis‘s office go far beyond the impropriety of appointing her lover, Nathan Wade, as a special prosecutor on her RICO case against former President Donald J. Trump. New questions of legal ethics violations have arisen in another of Willis’s high-profile prosecutions, with the attempted jailing of defense attorney Brian Steel, who is representing rapper Young Thug.

Earlier this week, Fulton County Superior Court Chief Judge Ural Glanville held Steel in contempt of court after the defense attorney revealed he was made aware that the judge had held an ex parte meeting with prosecutors in Willis‘s office and one of their star witnesses. Citing the meeting, Steel moved for a mistrial in Willis’s prosecution of the Grammy Award-winning rapper and 27 others for gang-related crimes.

Instead of granting the motion, Glanville demanded that Steel break attorney-client privilege and reveal who disclosed the ex parte meeting to him. Steel refused, resulting in the contempt order.

WHAT IS WONG WITH FULTON COUNTY?

Ex parte—a legal term meaning decisions are made without all parties present—meetings, like the one involving Glanville and prosecutors, are often considered improper in a trial setting. Ethical rules typically bar an attorney from meeting with a judge or witness without legal representatives from the other party being also present.

Complicating matters, Judge Glanville on Wednesday ordered prosecutors from Willis‘s office, along with witness Kenneth Copeland and his Kayla Bumpus, to appear at a June 25 hearing to determine whether they should also be held in contempt. The judge indicated he believes one of these three parties disclosed the ex parte meeting to Steel.

Even before the most recent ethical controversy, Willis‘s prosecution of Young Thug was mired in accusations of sloppiness, which caused extensive delays in the case. The degree of impropriety by the District Attorney’s office and Judge Glanville echoes the ethical breaches that have plagued Willis’s RICO prosecution of former President Trump.

FANI’S TRUMP TROUBLES.

In March, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee ordered that either Willis or special prosecutor Nathan Wade would have to resign from the Trump production. The order came after extensive evidence was presented showing that Willis and Wade had engaged in a romantic relationship prior to the latter’s appointment as a special prosecutor on the case. Wade subsequently resigned from the District Attorney’s office.

Despite initially denying the accusations of impropriety due to her relationship with Wade, Willis eventually acknowledged that he was her lover—though both have disputed the timeline as to when they became involved. With Wade’s resignation, Willis has been allowed to remain as the prosecutor in the RICO case.

However, attorneys representing former President Trump and several of his co-defendants have appealed McAfee’s ruling. Last week, the Georgia Court of Appeals put Willis’s prosecution of Trump on hold until after the 2024 presidential election as they weigh whether the District Attorney should be disqualified from the case.

Trump Proposes TOTALLY Scrapping Income Tax. Here’s How It Would Work…

Former President Donald J. Trump—the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee—suggested during a private meeting with Republican lawmakers on Capitol Hill on Thursday that he’d consider replacing the federal income tax with an “all-tariff policy.” Trump first hinted at the policy idea during a campaign rally in Las Vegas on Sunday.

While specific details regarding the tariff plan were not immediately available, it appears the former President suggested tariffs could be used over time to phase out the income tax—and not immediately replace the federal government’s revenue base altogether. During Trump‘s first term in office, tariffs were used to impact both U.S. domestic and foreign policy—encouraging the reshoring of American jobs while punishing currency manipulators like China.

Trump also emphasized to his fellow Republicans at the Thursday meeting in Washington, D.C., that tariffs can and should be used to enhance U.S. negotiating power against foreign “bad actors.” These countries either purposefully devalue their currency or provide excessive state subsidies to domestic companies to tilt international trade in their favor.

The former President’s remarks signal that he will likely continue his popular protectionist policies in a second term in office. Even Democrats have acknowledged the success of Trump‘s trade agenda, with the 81-year-old incumbent Joe Biden having implemented similar tariff policies—at least on paper. However, extensive exemptions issued by the Biden Treasury Department have rendered many of the trade restrictions effectively unenforceable.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said his meeting with Republican lawmakers had been very positive.

WATCH: Shock Moment Fani Willis’s Nathan Wade is ‘Signaled’ During Live CNN Interview.

Former Fulton County special prosecutor Nathan Wade—who carried on a workplace romance with his boss, District Attorney Fani Willis—shockingly got up in the midst of a live CNN interview after being “signaled” by his attorney. The interruption occurred as anchor Kaitlan Collins pressed Wade for specifics regarding his affair with Willis.

“To… to say that, okay, these… these exact dates are… are… are at issue, and these exact dates are…” Wade said while nervously swaying and glancing about. As he began to trail off, the former Fulton County special prosecutor abruptly told Collins, while turning his attention to an individual off-camera, “I’m getting, I’m getting signaled here.”

At this point, Wade removes his microphone and steps away from Collins to consult with an individual who appears to be his attorney. The CNN cameras continue to roll while Wade and his associate huddle in a corner of the room—the content of their discussion, however, is inaudible.

After nearly half a minute, Wade returned to the interview set with Collins, asking: “Everything okay?” The CNN anchor pressed again as to when Wade’s relationship with Willis began; this time, however, the former special prosecutor delivered a deflective answer stating: “I believe the public has, through the testimony and other interviews, the public has a clear snapshot that this is just a distraction.”

Wade dismissed the matter of his relationship with Willis as being “irrelevant” to the District Attorney’s RICO prosecution of former President Donald J. Trump and over a dozen other individuals for allegedly interfering in the 2020 presidential election in Georgia. In March, Judge Scott McAfee forced Wade to resign from the prosecution due to the “appearance of impropriety” regarding his relationship with Willis.
