Trump Blasts ‘Foolish, Horrendous, Stupid’ Border Deal.

Former President Donald Trump has come out against the Senate Ukraine/Border supplemental funding bill, slamming the deal as “a Death Wish for The Republican Party.” In a post on Truth Social on Monday morning, the former Republican President said, “Only a fool, or a Radical Left Democrat, would vote for this horrendous Border Bill.”

“It takes the HORRIBLE JOB the Democrats have done on Immigration and the Border, absolves them, and puts it all squarely on the shoulders of Republicans,” Trump posted, adding: “Don’t be STUPID!!! We need a separate Border and Immigration Bill. It should not be tied to foreign aid in any way, shape, or form! The Democrats broke Immigration and the Border. They should fix it.”

Late Sunday night, Senate leaders unveiled their Ukraine aid and U.S. border security supplemental funding bill negotiated by Sens. Sinema (I-AZ), Murray (D-WA), Lankford (R-OK), and Tillis (R-NC). Over the past several weeks, the Republican negotiators — Lankford and Tillis — have come under increasing criticism from their Republican Senate colleagues over provisions in the legislation that would limit the President’s power to shut down the border by proclamation. Opponents also point to the expansion of work visas and other programs in the legislation as indicative of it being an immigrant labor bill and not border security legislation.

The leadership-backed legislation must gain 60 votes in the Senate to overcome a filibuster. With former President Trump joining the opposition to the Senate deal, Sens. Schumer (D-NY) and McConnell (R-KY) may find it increasingly difficult to whip those 60 votes.

Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT), who heads up the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), has already come out against the funding supplemental. Daines, widely viewed as a moderate on immigration, has supported the expansion of visa and guest worker programs in the past.

E. Jean Carroll Lawyer Roberta Kaplan Says Trump Called Her A C*nt at Mar-a-Lago.

Attorney Roberta Kaplan, a long-time legal antagonist of former President Donald Trump, claims he knowingly deployed a slang phrase for “c*nt” following a deposition at Mar-a-Lago, his private club in Palm Beach, Florida. Appearing on the far-left Bulwark podcast, George Conway Explains It All, Kaplan told hosts Conway and Sarah Longwell that the former President said, “See you next Tuesday” upon ending the deposition.

The phrase “see you next Tuesday” is sometimes used to spell out the word, “c u n t,” a moniker over which Kaplan is clearly sensitive.

The attorney, who recently represented E. Jean Carroll in two defamation lawsuits against Trump, claims she was unaware of the alternative meaning of what Trump said. “So I said to him, what are you talking about? I’m coming back on Wednesday. It’s literally… it was an honest answer [sic], I had no idea what he’s talking about,” Kaplan told Conway and Longwell, claiming she suspected it was a joke.

Kaplan went on to explain that once she had departed Mar-a-Lago, her colleagues told her that Trump had — in essence — called her a “c*nt.” She said: “Then we get into the car and my colleagues are like, Robbie, do you know what that means? And I’m like, no, what are you talking about? They tell me and I’m like, oh my God, thank God I didn’t know because had I known, I for sure would have gotten angry.”

Conway is the former husband of Kellyanne Conway, a former Trump advisor. He was the first to prompt E. Jean Carroll into suing the 45th president, convincing her of the matter at a house party hosted by the far-left Bulwark contributor Molly Jong-Fast. Kaplan took the case having recently smeared the sexual accusers of former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

WATCH: Trump Says He Expects Changes at the RNC.

Former President Donald Trump, in an interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures, insinuated possible changes forthcoming in the operations of the Republican National Committee (RNC). While acknowledging RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel’s initial contribution to his campaign in Michigan, Trump said he expects changes within the RNC.

“She did OK, initially in the RNC, I would say right now, there’ll probably be some changes made,” he said in the Sunday morning interview.

Trump’s comments came as a response to Bartiromo’s remarks on RNC chapters struggling financially and the flourishing economic condition of the Democrats’ committee. Ronna McDaniel has surrounded herself with establishment acolytes at the RNC, flubbing a number of election years and causing further harm to right wing election integrity efforts. McDaniel hands vendor contracts to her friends, and has used RNC cash on makeovers and private flights for herself.

Trump added, “You have to understand, I have nothing to do with the RNC.” He had previously urged the RNC to save funds for battling the Democrats instead of holding low-rated primary debates.

Rapper 50 Cent Suggests ‘Trump is the Answer’ In Reaction to NYC’s Migrant Madness.

Famed rapper Curtis Jackson, known by his stage name 50 Cent, took to Instagram on Saturday to criticize New York City Mayor Eric Adams over a recently announced plan to distribute money to illegal immigrants using pre-loaded debit cards. Sharing a photograph of a New York Post article outlining the initiative, Jackson expressed his confusion and concern over the matter, candidly stating, “Maybe Trump is the answer.”

Adams’s plan, revealed last Friday, involves distributing $53 million in pre-paid debit cards, dubbed “Immediate Response Cards”, to aid illegal immigrants in food purchases from bodegas, grocery stores, supermarkets, and convenience stores, much like the state’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for low-income residents.

The news has seen 50 Cent become one of a growing number of personalities in the music industry to voice support for former President Donald Trump, joining rapper Snoop Dogg who recently declared his respect for Trump. He stated, “He ain’t done nothing wrong to me. He has done only great things for me. He pardoned Michael Harris, so I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”

Meta Oversight Board Member Says 2020 Election Meddling Was Not Enough, Will Do More In 2024.

Pamela San Martín, a member of Meta’s oversight board, suggested in an interview that Facebook did not do enough to control user speech during previous election cycles — Meta is the parent company of Facebook. Despite actions taken against the New York Post‘s distribution of news on Hunter Biden’s laptop and former President Donald Trump’s removal from both Facebook and Instagram, San Martín claimed that more needed to be done to address potential misuse of the platform, including coordinated campaigns and bot activity aimed at undermining electoral trust and stability.

In the run-up to the 2020 elections, measures were taken by Facebook to restrict the distribution of certain news and remove ads making false claims about voter fraud. Responses from Facebook included taking down posts, flagging content for fact-checking, and promising a ban on political ads making false claims, especially concerning voter fraud. Despite these efforts, San Martín insists these attempts to control user speech were insufficient.

San Martín praised Meta’s recent efforts to further control content related to election issues, including working with electoral authorities, adding labels to politically related posts, redirecting users to reliable information sources, and implementing message forwarding limits on WhatsApp. However, she emphasized a need for Facebook to continue capturing the impact of its own algorithms and recommendation systems on the democratic process, indicating she wants to see more of such efforts, not less. San Martín told Wired, “Social media platforms need to learn from past mistakes to be able to address them better this year.”

POISONING THE BLOOD: Mexicans Caught Smuggling 500 Pounds of Fentanyl to U.S. Hidden in Bus Wheel.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers seized 483 pounds of fentanyl last week from a bus being driven across the southern border by two Mexican drivers, along with $11,010 in cash.

The bus, which was en route to Los Angeles, California, was intercepted at the Dennis DeConcini port of entry in Nogales, Arizona, and the drugs were found in a rear wheel well by a sniffer dog. The cash was discovered stuffed in a plastic bag hidden under the dashboard.

Driver Martin Valencia Dessens denied all knowledge of the drugs and the cash to Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), but agents noted he “did not seem surprised” when he was told the contraband had been found on his bus. Just two milligrams of fentanyl can kill an adult — the amount seized was enough to kill over 100 million people.

Dessens and relief driver Luis Eduardo Virgen Pena claimed they had been in Las Vegas before heading to Mexican Nogales and staying overnight, beginning their aborted trip to Los Angeles on January 27th. Pena is said to have received several alerts on his cellphone while in custody, possibly from a person or persons awaiting the bus’s arrival.

The pair have been charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl and are due in court on February 5th.

Donald Trump believes illegal immigration and drug trafficking under Joe Biden are “poisoning the blood” of the United States, with enough fentanyl to kill every American citizen having been seized by the authorities in 2023.

Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, Valued at $18m by NY Judge, Sold for $20m in 1981.

Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, valued at just $18 million by Judge Arthur Engoron in a civil fraud trial against the former president, sold for $20 million in 1981.

“In 1981, the New York Times reported that Mar-a-Lago was for sale for $20 million,” commented America First lawmaker Rep. Matt Gaetz, sharing a clipping of the story.

“Now, 43 years later New York Judge Engoron expects you to believe that Mar-a-Lago has not appreciated a cent and is actually worth $18 million.”

The discrepancy is even worse than Gaetz suggests, however, as $20 million in 1981 was the equivalent of roughly $70 million by 2023, due to decades of inflation.

The fraud case against Trump, brought by Democrat Attorney General Letitia James, hinges mainly on allegations Trump overvalued his business empire when applying for bank loans.

Engoron valuing Mar-a-Lago at just $18 million has been one of the most contentious events of the trial, with an expert witness valuing the property at over a billion dollars.

Quinnipiac, The Pollster Showing Biden in the Lead This Week, Ranks 36th for Accuracy.

A new poll from Quinnipiac showing President Joe Biden leading former President Donald Trump by six points may not be as significant as some claim. While it remains to be seen how Quinnipiac’s accuracy will hold up for the 2024 election, the polling firm missed the mark over the past several election cycles.

Polling aggregator FiveThirtyEight provides several valuable measures for understanding how accurate a pollster has been in the past. According to their data, Quinnipiac ranks 15th overall by their custom rankings, which weight accuracy, number of polls conducted, and data transparency. When isolated for just accuracy, Quinnipiac ranks 36th overall. By comparison, according to FiveThirtyEight’s data, the New York Times/Siena poll is number one in both their custom rankings and by accuracy alone.

The Quinnipiac poll gives the Democrats a weighted three-point edge in the 2024 election, with the survey comprised of 32 percent registered Democrat voters, 29 percent Republican, 29 percent independent, and 10 percent who said other or do not know their affiliation. The last New York Times/Siena poll conducted in November showed Trump leading in five of the six key battleground states — indicating the former Republican President likely has a slight edge over the Democrat incumbent.

A bevy of polls fielded just after Quinnipiac’s show Trump and Biden in a statistical tie or Trump with an edge over Biden. Only one poll from YouGov for The Economist shows Biden with a lead (1 point). The RealClearPolitics polling average still has Trump with a 1.7 percent edge over Biden — even with their aggregate incorporating the Quinnipiac poll.

Former DeSantis Donor Robert Bigelow Backs Donald Trump With $20M Donation.

Hotel magnate and aerospace entrepreneur Robert Bigelow has announced he’s made several sizable donations to a SuperPAC and a legal defense fund aligned with former President Donald Trump. Bigelow says he’s given $1 million towards the former President’s legal defense and has committed to donate $20 million to one of his SuperPACs.

Bigelow previously supported Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s Republican presidential primary bid — and was at one point the single largest donor to the pro-DeSantis SuperPAC Never Back Down. Early on during the Republican primary, however, Bigelow and other major donors jumped ship after raising concerns the DeSantis campaign was too reliant on the SuperPAC, out-of-touch with voters, and unable to raise small-dollar donations.

Late last year, the billionaire donor signaled he was considering redirecting his financial resources to the Trump campaign. “Who would you want as a commander? I’d want somebody that would be a hell of an ass-kicker if he needed to be,” Bigelow said in an interview at the time, concluding: “On the face of it, you lean toward Trump.” He continued: “I think Trump is too strong.”

The contributions made by Bigelow to the Trump campaign suggest major donors are beginning to come to terms with the inevitability of another Trump White House run. In the first two contests of the Republican presidential primary, Donald Trump posted historic wins, easily defeating DeSantis and former South Carolina Gov. Nimarata ‘Nikki’ Haley in Iowa and defeating Haley again in New Hampshire.

Political observers believe the former President is likely to win by double digits again in South Carolina, effectively ending any hopes Haley has of remaining in the primary.

Anti-Trump DA Fani Willis Admits Affair With Prosecutor, Claims It Isn’t ‘Disqualifying.’

Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis now admits she has a ‘personal relationship’ with special prosecutor Nathan Wade. In a 176-page court filing, Willis acknowledged her “improper” affair with Wade, who she appointed to prosecute the Georgia RICO case against former President Donald Trump and 18 others for allegedly interfering with the 2020 election.

Last month, Michael Roman, one of Trump’s remaining 14 co-defendants, accused Willis of engaging in a clandestine romantic relationship with Wade. Roman also alleged Willis and Wade of personally enriching themselves, with Wade having been paid almost $654,000 in legal fees authorized by the DA since his appointment in January 2022. Wade is said to have used this money to take Willis on vacations to Florida, Napa Valley, and on Caribbean cruises.

In the court filing made earlier today, Willis pushed back against the accusations of impropriety, stating, “any personal relationship among members of the prosecution team does not amount to a disqualifying conflict of interest or otherwise harm a criminal defendant.”

The filing additionally argues, “Defendants have done nothing to establish an actual conflict of interest, nor have they shown that, in the handling of the case, District Attorney Willis or Special Prosecutor Wade have acted out of any personal or financial motivation.”

Scott McAfee, the Fulton County Superior Court judge overseeing the RICO trial, has set an evidentiary hearing for February 15th to review Roman’s accusations. The filing by Willis indicates she and Wade both intend to file motions to quash subpoenas filed by Roman’s attorneys, compelling them to testify at the hearing.

When the allegations of Willis’s affair with Wade first surfaced, she claimed the accusations were motivated by racism. Willis argued the allegations were only made because of the color of her and Wade’s skin — since no allegations of impropriety were leveled against the two white prosecutors working with Wade.
