Strategists for Republican presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis have reportedly been left “flabbergasted” as their attempts to smear Donald Trump over COVID lockdowns amongst other issues have not just failed to land, but actually backfired on the Florida Governor. Speaking to the Washington Post‘s Hannah Knowles, one DeSantis strategist noted that voters “were furious about lockdowns, mandates and former White House coronavirus adviserAnthony S. Fauci but were ‘simply unwilling to attach any of that blame on Trump'”.
The behaviors and attitudes of voters in fact more accurately reflect COVID history, something DeSantis and his team have clumsily attempted to rewrite. This weekend, DeSantis praised former Vice President Mike Pence, who was in fact the head of the COVID-19 taskforce which appointed Fauci and his colleague Deborah Birx, as well as taking direction from the Big Pharma-linked Alex Azar.
Conservatives are often “simply unwilling to attach any of that blame on Trump,” the Post’s source said, adding that indictments of the former president by Joe Biden’s Justice Department have strengthened grassroots resolve to defend the MAGA leader.
DeSantis’s attempts to put criticism of Trump’s approach at the heart of his campaign have put his actions in Florida under greater scrutiny. There is now greater awareness of the fact DeSantis reopened slower than the Trump White House recommended, and that DeSantis’s team called for Fauci to receive the Medal of Freedom. The Florida Governor also failed to remove the state’s own “Fauci” – Dr. Alina Alonso – despite claiming he would have removed the real Fauci from the White House.

The George Soros-backed ‘Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington’ (CREW) is arguing in a Colorado court this week that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment disqualifies former President Donald Trump from the 2024 election ballot. The judge overseeing the case appears to be as equally radical-left and partisan as CREW itself.
INSURRECTION.
“Four years after taking an oath to ‘preserve, protect and defend’ the Constitution as President of the United States… Trump tried to overthrow the results of the 2020 election, leading to a violent insurrection at the United States Capitol to stop the lawful transfer of power to his successor,” the CREW lawsuit states.
“By instigating this unprecedented assault on the American constitutional order, Trump violated his oath and disqualified himself under the Fourteenth Amendment from holding public office, including the Office of the President.”
During Trump’s presidency, CREW waged a campaign of frivolous lawsuits against the president and those who served his administration. Often, the lawsuits would use tortured interpretations of obscure constitutional provisions in the hopes of finding a ‘silver bullet’ that would remove either Trump himself or his appointees from office. The Soros-backed group’s novel legal arguments failed to sway any judges at the time, but a rigorous effort of “venue shopping” landed CREW a friendly judge in Colorado it appears.
JUDGE SARAH WALLACE, LEFTIST.
Colorado District Judge Sarah B. Wallace, who will hear the case this week, has a history of making partisan-liberal political donations and has openly expressed disdain for former President Donald Trump. Wallace, appointed by a Democrat governor, is a financial backer of the far-left Colorado Turnout Project (CTP) – an organization dedicated to preventing politicians who “refused to condemn the political extremists who stormed the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021″ from holding office. Wallace donated to CTP as recently as last year.
Campaign finance records show Judge Wallace has also made campaign contributions to Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA), the Colorado Democrat Party, former Senator Doug Jones (D-AL), and Jamie Harrison a failed Democrat candidate for U.S. Senate in South Carolina who now runs the Democratic National Committee (DNC). CREW, meanwhile, is a member of the Democrat dark money cartel overseen by Arabella Advisors and their network of non-profits that serve as clearing houses for contributions made by far-left foundations and liberal billionaires.
KEEPING TRUMP OFF THE BALLOT.
The 14th Amendment argument being brought by CREW against former President Trump is a novel legal theory that has been met with little enthusiasm by election officials and legal scholars in other states thus far. This past August, New Hampshire Secretary of State David Scanlan brushed aside the idea Trump is disqualified from the ballot by the 14th Amendment. Scanlan said Trump would appear on the New Hampshire ballot along with the other qualifying candidates.
Steven Calabresi, a law professor who co-founded the Federalist Society and the originator of the argument claiming the 14th Amendment disqualifies Trump from the ballot, now says his idea and interpretation of the constitutional provision are wrong.
Calabresi points to the fact that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment specifically disqualifies “officers of the United States” who have taken and betrayed an oath to uphold the Constitution. According to Calabresi, the President or Vice-President are not disqualified under this provision as they are the officials vested by the Constitution to appoint said “officers” and not officers themselves.
Judge Wallace has denied five separate motions by former President Trump’s legal team to dismiss the case so far. The trial, which begins today, is expected to last the entire week. If CREW prevails, it would likely be appealed all of the way to the United States Supreme Court.

The leftist “news” website RawStory is apparently extremely upset that National Pulse Editor-in-Chief Raheem Kassam took aim at Judge Arthur Engoron’s appearance this weekend, dedicating an entire “news” article to a humorous X post (tweet) that highlighted the troglodytic nature of former President Donald J. Trump’s clearly biased New York judge.
“Judge Arthur Engoron should be fined for his fashion sense. This is a serious sartorial crime. His tailor needs a gag order,” joked Kassam on Friday evening, leading RawStory to hysterically report: “Trump allies attack judge in fraud case over his fashion: ‘His tailor needs a gag order'”.
The sensitivity of the far-left to attacks on Engoron proves how much they have invested their hopes of stopping Donald Trump in this partisan judge.

RawStory claims Kassam’s post “got the ball rolling” before others quickly began following suit in the comment section, which became full “with people criticizing Engoron for his clothes as well as his decisions in the court, and unrelated issues.”

German Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius has warned of the looming threat of a violent conflict igniting on the European continent, explaining during a television interview this weekend that a new mentality has to be adopted across society to tackle the increased risks of violent conflict.
“We have to become war-ready.”
— Boris Pistorius, October 2023.
“We have to get used to the idea again that the danger of war in Europe could threaten. And that means: We have to become war-ready,” he Pistorius said, adding that bolstering Germany‘s defense capabilities is the best means of avoiding future escalations.
But what he called decades of rot will be hard to fix in 18 months, the Defense Minister noted, also suggesting Germany’s armed forces will look “completely different” by the end of the decade.
It was discovered earlier this year that the nation’s ammunition stockpiles have dropped below NATO’s required levels.
Germany’s apathy towards military spending was highlighted by former President Donald Trump, who called the country “delinquent” after it failed to adequately contribute to NATO, instead relying predominantly on the United States to guarantee its own defense.

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis’s standing in the GOP presidential primary has dwindled, with the governor scoring just eight percent support, placing him in a second-place tie with former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley. Back in December 2022, DeSantis had a 36-point backing in the same McLaughlin poll. This decline is starkly juxtaposed with former President Donald Trump’s now 47-point lead over DeSantis and Haley, marking a significant surge since he was beating DeSantis by just 18 points at the turn of the year.
The poll, conducted from October 22-26, identifies entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and former Vice President Mike Pence as runners-up, with Ramaswamy sitting at 7 percent and Pence—who dropped out of the race on Saturday—garnering 6 percent. Looking ahead, the survey predicts a win for Trump over President Joe Biden, 38 percent to 35 percent, if the 2024 election were held today. Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was measured at 14 percent in the poll, while fellow independent Cornel West received 2 percent.

Over ten million illegal migrants have entered the United States under the Biden government once the number of “gotaways” is included, representing the largest number in American history.
Official U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) statistics show that just roughly 8.3 million people have illegally entered the United States since January 2021 – equivalent to the “thirteenth largest state” in the country. However, the figure excludes the number of so-called gotaways – those who enter the country without being apprehended or detected – which the federal agency refuses to publicly report.
Anonymous border agents recently admitted the minimum estimate for the number of gotaways is around 1.7 million migrants since Biden became President, with at least 769,174 crossing the southern border alone. The number excludes the northern border as well as other entry points.
Yet, the number is likely far higher still as the figures are considered a “best estimate.” In reality, U.S. law enforcement agents do not know the true number nor where they are in the country.
In an exclusive interview with The National Pulse, former President Trump predicted the real number would be more like 15 million.

Ivanka Trump, daughter of former President Donald Trump, has been ordered by a New York judge to testify in person at her father’s civil fraud trial. Judge Arthur Engoron creepily stated from the bench, “I want to see her in person.” Ivanka’s attorney Bennet Moskowitz sought to dismiss the subpoena, arguing that her required physical presence in court “falls on its face” given that she has neither worked nor lived in New York since 2017. However, State Attorney Kevin Wallace countered, stating that her role in the Trump Organization and her possession of property in the state make the subpoena legitimate.
The former President is currently on trial following a conviction of fraud in relation to his business activities in New York City. Both of his older sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, were also held liable in the fraud case. New York Attorney General Letitia James is seeking a $250,000 million fine and an injunction prohibiting Trump and his sons from conducting business in the state, a penalty that could effectively dissolve the Trump Organization.
Amid the ongoing civil trial, Donald Trump was also fined for violating a gag order imposed by Judge Engoron. The judge has been a repeated target of the former President on his social media platforms.

Former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago fundraiser for his 2024 presidential campaign raked in around $6 million on Thursday night. The fundraiser featured several notable political figures and social media celebrities who are supporting the former President’s bid to retake the White House.
The fundraiser’s goal – on top of continuing to build Trump’s 2024 war chest – was to show a clear sign of strength and signal that for the Trump campaign, the primary is over and the general election fight against President Joe Biden has begun. Several high-profile political figures were in attendance, including Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and former-Speaker candidate and Florida Congressman Byron Donalds. Comedian and celebrity Roseanne Barr also made an appearance Thursday night.
When Trump took the stage to address the crowd in the Mar-a-Lago ballroom, he quickly recognized conservative talk show host Larry Elder who had just hours before dropped out of the 2024 Republican presidential primary, and endorsed the former President. “Larry said don’t worry about it, when I drop out, you’re the guy and I love you and I love him,” Trump said.
Trump’s remarks focused mainly on his accomplishments as President, especially in regards to foreign policy and his administration’s successful work reining in Iran, China, and North Korea. The former President also took aim at President Joe Biden, who he blasted for undoing his successes. Trump also made clear that his fundraising and polling lead have made Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s path to a primary victory nearly impossible.

The Justice Department has concluded no improper influence was exerted by then-President Donald Trump over a decision by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to keep its headquarters in downtown Washington D.C.
“We found no evidence that the FBI’s decisions were based on improper considerations or motives,” the inspector general’s report stated, after a four-year investigation into allegations Trump opposed a move to the suburbs of Maryland or Virginia to benefit his businesses.
The controversy originated from a developer exchange procurement deal in 2014 to transfer the ownership of the J. Edgar Hoover Building site to a developer. However, plans were canceled in 2017 when Congress withheld the requested funding, leading to the recommendation for a reconstruction of the existings site. This decision was criticized by some Democrats, who suspected Trump of intervening to prevent competition with his D.C.-based commercial property, the Trump International Hotel.
FBI Director Christopher Wray, who confirmed discussing the relocation matter with Trump on numerous occasions, stated he did not feel any pressure to comply with a specific direction, and that he himself thought it would be “great” if the headquarters could stay where it was.

Republican donors who were backing or considering backing Ron DeSantis and other alternative candidates to Donald Trump are now returning to the former president, recognizing his lead over his rivals appears insurmountable.
“There is no doubt in my mind that Donald Trump will be the nominee of our party,” said Ed Broyhill, who served as Trump’s finance chairman in North Carolina in the last election but had been considering moving his support to DeSantis or Mike Pence in 2024.
“I have met with all the candidates. None are close to the level of support Trump has,” he explained, noting Trump’s grassroots support provided him with a “solid foundation”.
Other donors returning to Trump’s donor list include Oklahoma oil and gas baron Harold Hamm, who had previously supported DeSantis and Nikki Haley, and South Carolina financier Scott Bessent, who previously donated to Pence and Tim Scott.
Pressed on why donors who had sought to displace Trump as the GOP’s leading man are now writing checks for him again, one unnamed money man told NBC the answer was simple: “Why? It is easy, I want to win.”
