Trump’s DHS Has Stopped All Grant Funding for NGOs Aiding Illegal Immigrants.

President Donald J. Trump’s Homeland Security Secretary, Kristi Noem, announced on Wednesday that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has halted all grant funding for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) aiding illegal immigrants entering the United States. Under former President Joe Biden’s Democrat-controlled White House, DHS funneled almost $400 million to various far-left NGOs that assisted with housing, food, and job placement for the millions of illegal immigrants who entered the country under his watch.

During the final year of the Biden government, federal officials across a number of departments and agencies directed nearly $640 million in taxpayer dollars to be spent on assistance for illegal immigrants. However, the DHS grant program was one of the most onerous examples, directly funding highly partisan NGOs—some of which promote radical, anti-American ideologies.

In November last year, now-former Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) introduced legislation to strip Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax-exempt status from NGOs assisting immigrants who cross the U.S. border illegally. Meanwhile, The National Pulse previously reported that at least one of the organizations assisting illegal immigrants also allegedly encouraged them to unlawfully vote for Joe Biden prior to his exit from the 2024 presidential race.

It is not clear how the Trump DHS decision will impact the activities of some of the largest illegal immigration assistance NGOs. The National Pulse reported in mid-January that an NGO network coordinated by the United Nations (UN) appears undeterred in its efforts to fuel mass immigration despite President Trump’s ongoing illegal immigration crackdown.

WATCH: Kash Patel Schools Democrat Senator on FBI Involvement in Jan 6.

Kash Patel, President Donald J. Trump’s nominee to lead the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), took the Senate Judiciary Committee’s ranking member, Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL), to task over his denial of bureau involvement in the lead-up to the January 6 Capitol riots. Citing the Inspector General’s (IG) investigation into the riots and actions of federal officials, Patel detailed the nearly year-long involvement of the FBI in developing sources who later were present and participated in the protests and subsequent riots at the U.S. Capitol.

“Well, let me inform you then,” Patel replied after Sen. Durbin insisted the IG report found no FBI involvement in January 6 and condemned Patel for his public comments suggesting otherwise. He continued: “What it says is it raises an interrogatory, asking why government resources were utilized. I’ve run resources and sources at the FBI. I’ve run sources overseas.”

“It takes months for source developmental networks…” Patel began before being cut off by Durbin. The Illinois Democrat pushed back, asking: “What resources were utilized a year in advance in planning January 6?”

“That’s the question I’m asking,” Patel responded. “And the Biden Inspector General report answered that question in the affirmative, that multiple sources were utilized. And I was simply trying to get to that answer.”

DURBIN TRIPS UP.

Subsequently, Durbin claimed the IG concluded that “there was no evidence that the FBI had undercover employees in the various protest crowds or at the Capitol on January 6.”

Without missing a beat and stumping Durbin, Patel replied: “And there is a huge distinction between undercover employees and sources. I know because I ran them. And anybody in law enforcement knows that, too.”

The National Pulse previously reported that the IG report revealed there were 26 federal informants present in the crowd on January 6, with most of them entering restricted areas of the U.S. Capitol.

Ghoulish: CNN Pundit Says ‘I F*cked Up’ After Blaming Trump for DC Air Disaster.

CNN political commentator Bakari Sellers is apologizing after he attempted to quickly connect President Donald J. Trump to the tragic mid-air collision near Ronald Reagan National Airport in Arlington, Virginia, Wednesday night. Following the deadly crash—in which it is feared 64 civilian passengers and crew, along with three military personnel, perished—Sellers posted a screenshot on social media of a Democratic Party press release alleging President Trump froze air traffic controller hirings last week.

“8 days ago,” Sellers wrote on X (formerly Twitter) with the Democratic Party press release screenshotted below. Despite the Democrats’ and Sellers’s claims, the hiring freeze instituted by Trump excludes U.S. military personnel and positions related to immigration enforcement, national security, and public safety. The latter includes air traffic controllers.

Additionally, there is currently no indication that an air traffic controller error caused the collision or that rushed hirings would have changed the events resulting in the deadly crash.

After receiving an avalanche of pushback, Sellers deleted his post and later followed up with a mea culpa. “I deleted the post because timing matters. Politics at this point does not. I f**ked up, I own that,” Sellers wrote on X, continuing: “I am very prayerful but I’m also very frustrated upset and disturbed with where we are as a country. I recognize, and I will do better.”

“The only thing that matters is rescuing the survivors, and ensuring this never happens again,” the CNN commentator concluded.

It was confirmed this morning that there are no survivors.

CNN has not commented on the matter beyond stating that the corporate news network stands by Sellers’s public apology. The National Pulse has previously reported that CNN has suffered a significant loss of viewership over the last year. This has led to layoffs and the departure of several long-time correspondents and other on-air talent.

Fired Fed Booted By Security After REFUSING to Leave Her Office.

A top official at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)—with a federal career spanning 22 years—had to be escorted from her office by security officials on Monday after she refused to leave following her firing by President Donald J. Trump last Friday. Phyllis Fong, the Inspector General for the USDA, told colleagues she would refuse to leave her position following her firing, claiming the Trump White House had not followed proper federal procedures in issuing her dismissal.

According to the fired USDA Inspector General, the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE)—an independent agency under the executive branch—has determined “…that these termination notices do not comply with the requirements set out in law and therefore are not effective at this time.” Fong is among several departmental Inspectors General removed by President Trump last Friday over concerns regarding their lack of partisan independence.

The White House defended the firings, arguing: “…these rogue, partisan bureaucrats… have been relieved of their duties to make room for qualified individuals who will uphold the rule of law and protect Democracy.”

“It is the belief of this White House and the White House counsel’s office that the president was within his executive authority,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Tuesday when pressed on the firings. Responding to whether the White House was concerned about legal challenges to the dismissals, she added: “We will win in court.”

Far-Left Journo Admits ‘No Country’ Can Deal With ‘An Influx of Millions’ of Migrants.

Far-left Al Jazeera journalist Julia Galiano unwittingly admits that no country can adequately deal with the negative consequences of mass immigration while defending Mexico’s resistance to accepting illegal immigrants being mass deported by U.S. President Donald J. Trump. Galiano—who reports from Cuba under its authoritarian and anti-American communist regime—contends Mexico is unable to cope with the economic and societal impact the sudden influx of deportees will have.

“Mexico cannot cope—I’m not sure any country can—but Mexico can’t cope with, like, a sudden influx of millions of people. I mean, as much as [Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum] wants to ’embrace’ them—to use her word—when they come back and make them feel welcome,” Galiano said on The Take, a daily news podcast hosted by Al Jazeera. “It all sounds very nice when you’re listening to it. But the reality of that is just completely unsustainable.”

BUSTING BUDGETS & SUPPRESSING WAGES.

While Galiano intended her remarks as a criticism of President Trump’s mass deportation policies and their impact on Mexico, she unintentionally echoed the very argument behind his White House’s massive immigration crackdown. Under former President Joe Biden, millions of illegal immigrants were allowed to enter the United States through the abuse of Temporary Protected Status (TPS), federal immigration parole programs, and lack of border enforcement. The influx of illegal immigrants placed unprecedented strain on federal, state, and local resources, while also fueling a spike in violent gang-related crime.

“A lot of these people have lived in the U.S. for decades. They have lives there, they have families; they’re good standing citizens,” Galiano bizarrely claims regarding those being removed through Trump’s immigration enforcement actions. In fact, no U.S. citizens are being deported to Mexico—only those who unlawfully reside in the country.

Galiano goes on to acknowledge that much of the mass immigration into the U.S. is economically driven, with individuals risking the journey to find higher-paying jobs. The National Pulse has previously reported that mass immigration depresses American wages, with most immigrants being paid less than native-born workers despite making more than they would in their home countries.

The Media Tried Its First Hoax on the New Trump Admin… It Failed Miserably.

Democrat lawmakers and the corporate media tried and failed to push their first hoax against President Donald J. Trump and his White House just one week after he assumed office again as the 47th President of the United States. One day after Trump’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) issued a memo temporarily halting federal loans, grants, and assistance programs authorized under presidential executive orders, an unconnected federal Medicaid payments portal suffered an access outage.

However, according to the corporate media, being fed by hysterical claims from Democrats on Capitol Hill, the OMB memo resulted in the closure of access to a federal Medicaid funding portal for state governments. Despite the claim, there is no evidence the memo and the portal access issue were remotely connected.

The OMB did not temporarily freeze portal funding or impact Medicaid payments or allocations. In fact, the Trump administration memo explicitly states that “…any program that provides direct benefits to Americans is explicitly excluded from the pause and exempted from this review process.”

SWIFTLY FIXED.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt responded to the portal outage in a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating: “The White House is aware of the Medicaid website portal outage. We have confirmed no payments have been affected—they are still being processed and sent.”

She added: “We expect the portal will be back online shortly.”

While a handful of state governments, including Alaska, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, and North Carolina, reported a brief interruption to portal access, they acknowledged that the disruption was quickly resolved. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) did warn that the payments portal was operating slower than usual after restoration—again pointing to a technology problem unrelated to the OMB memo.

ANOTHER DEMOCRAT HOAX.

Despite the obvious technical error, Democrats quickly pushed a media narrative connecting the Medicaid portal problem with the OMB memo. “My staff has confirmed reports that Medicaid portals are down in all 50 states following last night’s federal funding freeze,” Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) wrote in a post on X yesterday afternoon. Meanwhile, Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) falsely claimed, “Connecticut’s Medicaid payment system has been turned off.”

Even after the corporate media acknowledged that the OMB memo narrative was false, Democrats in Congress continued to push the hoax that President Trump cut off state Medicaid payments. Throughout the Senate confirmation hearing for HHS Secretary nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Democrats repeated the allegations, going so far as to disingenuously claim President Trump violated the Impoundment Control Act. Yet, no such violation occurred, and again—despite the Democrat hysteria—state Medicaid payments were not frozen, halted, or disrupted in any way.

Additionally, Senate Democrats are attempting to demagogue on the portal outage, using it as a cudgel to delay the confirmation of Trump’s pick to lead the OMB, Russ Vought.

Anti-Trump General Gets His Comeuppance.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has revoked the security clearance and detail of rabid anti-Trump, woke former Gen. Mark Milley—and is investigating whether he can have him demoted.

Back up: Milley served as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs under Trump. After he turned on the 45th president towards the end of his first term [we’ll get to this later], Joe Biden decided to keep him at his post.

Milley pays the price: Newly-minted Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth will reportedly announce he is “immediately pulling” Milley’s security detail and security clearance.

  • Additionally, he will direct the new acting Inspector General to review if enough evidence exists to demote Milley, stripping him of a star based on his actions to “undermine the chain of command” during Trump’s first term.
  • A portrait of Milley was removed from the Pentagon last week, less than two hours after Trump was sworn in.

How did Milley undermine the chain of command? I’m glad you asked. According to a book by acclaimed author Bob Woodward, Gen. Milley, on at least two occasions, broke the chain of command and called the Chinese Communist Party in the final months of Trump’s first term — without Trump’s knowledge — to assure them the administration had no plans to strike them.

  • Back in 2023, Trump called it “an act so egregious that, in times gone by, the punishment would have been DEATH!”

Zoom out: In his final days in office, Joe Biden handed Milley a blanket pardon, shielding him from any potential charges of treason.

Fed Pauses Interest Rate Cuts, Citing Trump’s Strong Economy and Jobs Market.

The Federal Reserve announced on Wednesday that it would keep interest rates stable, resisting President Donald J. Trump’s calls for an additional reduction. This decision follows a pattern where the Fed paused its rate cuts after implementing three consecutive reductions toward the end of 2024. The current interest rate remains between 4.25 percent and 4.5 percent.

Inflation has significantly dropped from its peak of over nine percent in June 2022 under former President Joe Biden. However, the inflation rate remains slightly elevated, just above the Fed’s two percent target. Despite concerns about a potential acceleration in price increases late last year, stock prices have largely stabilized.

In a post-rate announcement statement, the Federal Reserve pointed to a resurgent jobs market as a key reason for the pause—suggesting the central bank is concerned that a swift economic recovery under President Trump combined with too steep of rate cuts could increase inflationary pressures. “The unemployment rate has stabilized at a low level in recent months, and labor market conditions remain solid,” the January Fed statement reads, adding: “Inflation remains somewhat elevated.”

Additionally, the Fed notes that the U.S. economy “has continued to expand at a solid pace.”

Trump recently reiterated his stance on lowering interest rates. During a virtual address to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, he linked this to oil prices, suggesting that reduced oil costs could permit the Fed to ease its combating of inflation, thus justifying rate cuts. Trump also mentioned his intention to engage Saudi Arabia and OPEC in reducing oil prices.

President Trump Announces 30,000-Bed Guantanamo Bay Facility to Hold Most Dangerous Illegals.

President Donald J. Trump announced he is signing an executive order directing the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security to open a 30,000-bed detention facility on the U.S. military base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to hold illegal immigrants deemed a danger to the American public. According to Trump, the facility will house violent and dangerous illegal immigrants as they await deportation to secure countries where they will remain.

“Today I’m also signing an executive order to instruct the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security to begin preparing the 30,000-person migrant facility at Guantanamo Bay—most people don’t even know about it,” Trump said while speaking at the White House bill signing of the Laken Riley Act. He continued: “We have 30,000 beds in Guantanamo to detain the worst criminal illegal aliens threatening the American people. Some of them are so bad, we don’t even trust the countries to hold them because we don’t want them coming back. So we’re going to send them out to Guantanamo.”

Under former President Joe Biden’s open borders policies, numerous violent gang members from Central and South America were able to enter the United States and gain footholds in a number of American cities. President Trump and border czar Tom Homan have prioritized the capture, detention, and deportation of these violent individuals during an initial series of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids that began last week.

Trump Offers ‘Work From Home’ Hold-Overs: Take a Buyout and Leave.

President Donald J. Trump is offering a buyout through a deferred resignation for all federal career employees. The move specifically targets civil service employees who refuse to return to in-person work. The buyout offer follows an executive order issued by the President last week ending broad COVID-19-era work-from-home policies.

Federal workers have until February 6 to accept the offer, and in doing so, they effectively tender their resignation at a given date in the Fall of 2025. Until their resignation date, they will continue to be employed by the federal government and allowed to work from home—an incentive to encourage federal employees to take the buyout offer.

“After four years of incompetence and failure, President Donald Trump is committed to making our government efficient and productive again,” Karoline Leavitt, President Trump’s White House press secretary, said in a statement. She continued: “American taxpayers pay for the salaries of federal government employees and therefore deserve employees working on their behalf who actually show up to work in our wonderful federal buildings, also paid for by taxpayers.”

“If they don’t want to work in the office and contribute to making America great again, then they are free to choose a different line of work, and the Trump Administration will provide a very generous payout of eight months,” Leavitt added.

The National Pulse previously reported that U.S. Senate investigators found just six percent of the federal workforce was actually working full-time and in person. This has left the average occupancy rate of a federal office building in Washington, D.C., at around 12 percent.
