Trump May Veto Epstein-Linked New UK Ambassador Who Called Him ‘Danger to the World.’

President Donald J. Trump may reject the credentials of the far-left British government’s incoming ambassador to the U.S. Labour Party grandee, Lord Peter Mandelson, who previously branded the American President a “bully,” a “danger to the world,” and “little short of a white nationalist and a racist.”

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s choice of the scandal-ridden “Prince of Darkness” for the role generally assigned to career diplomats is inexplicable to many. Mandelson had to resign in disgrace from Tony Blair’s Cabinet on two occasions, only to be given a de facto promotion to the European Commission, where he was also dogged by accusations of wrongdoing. After this, Labour returned him to a Cabinet role under Gordon Brown, despite having promised there was “no question” he would return to government.

He continued to court controversy until Labour’s ouster by the Conservatives in 2010, reportedly calling Jeffrey Epstein for favors while the pedophile financier was in prison for soliciting minors.

CHINA TIES.

In 2018, Mandelson wrote an article denigrating Trump’s approach to China, insisting it was “absurd to imagine putting a country of such weight in the naughty corner.”

“It is also necessary to recognize Mr. Trump’s behavior for what it is: he is a bully and a mercantilist who thinks the U.S. will gain in trade only when others are losing,” Mandelson complained. “His idea of a progressive trade policy is one that forces everyone else to give the U.S. more favorable treatment rather than a trading system from which everyone gains.”

Figures close to Trump have expressed displeasure at such an “absolute moron” being put forward to represent Britain in America, citing his links to Communist China as much as his past criticism of President Trump.

An advisory firm co-founded by Mandelson, Global Counsel, has courted Chinese companies, including ByteDance—the parent company of TikTok—as clients. Sources close to Trump suggest that if his credentials are approved, conditions may be attached—such as severing any remaining business links of this nature.

No British ambassador has ever had their credentials rejected before. Among allies of the U.S., such actions are exceedingly rare.

JPMorgan Chief Jamie Dimon Tells Trump Tariff Critics to ‘Get Over It.’

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon is throwing his support behind President Donald J. Trump’s plan to enact aggressive tariffs on foreign trade. Speaking with the media on Wednesday at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, Dimon described Trump’s tariffs as a beneficial “economic weapon.”

“If it’s a little inflationary, but it’s good for national security, so be it. I mean, get over it,” Dimon said, adding: “National security trumps a little bit more inflation.”

However, President Trump’s tariffs may not even prove to be inflationary. The levies, by their nature, cause ‘demand destruction’ by suppressing the demand for foreign goods, which actually has a deflationary effect on prices. Some exporters may choose not to pass the costs of the tariffs on to consumers to avoid this.

Dimon, who heads the largest bank in the United States, emphasized that Trump’s tariff plan is aimed at protecting American economic and national security interests. Additionally, the JPMorgan Chase CEO argued the plan will bring foreign trade partners back to the negotiating table to address unfair imbalances.

HISTORY.

During Trump’s first term, Dimon had been vocal about the potential economic threats posed by tariffs. In multiple instances in 2018, he stated they “wouldn’t be a positive,” and in 2019, he continued to express concerns about their effects. However, early last year the banking titan appeared to warm to Trump, stating the America First leader “wasn’t wrong” about everything. Dimon specifically noted Trump’s push for NATO member countries to increase their defense budgets and the need to halt illegal immigration. In addition, he admitted Trump’s tariffs on China spurred a successful decoupling of the U.S. economy from America’s Asian adversary.

Trump, in his second term, has announced plans to introduce 25 percent tariffs on Canadian and Mexican products by next month, along with a 10 percent tariff on imports from China. In light of these plans, Dimon has reconsidered the utility of tariffs in international negotiations. He stated, “The question is how they get used… Can they be used to bring people to the table? Yes.”

Trump Treasury Pick Schools Bloomberg on Illegal Immigration.

Scott Bessent, nominated by President Donald J. Trump to serve as Secretary of the U.S. Treasury Department, is pushing back on mass immigration proponents who claim illegal immigration is a boon to the American economy. When pressed by Bloomberg Radio hosts with claims that the mass deportation of illegal immigrants would lower U.S. GDP by upwards of four percent and stunt job growth, the Trump Treasury nominee bluntly stated that illegal immigration actually erodes per capita GDP and lowers the quality of life for American citizens.

“Well, let’s go back because I find all of this pretty duplicitous. For my entire career, probably most of your entire lives, the academic economists said, ‘Oh no, absolutely, the unauthorized new arrivals do not put downward pressure on wages,” Bessent said. “Then, lo and behold, in this cycle—when we had the massive inflation—we get whether it’s eleven million new arrivals or, as President Trump thinks 21 million new arrivals, it does push down wages on the bottom quintile, which I think is abominable. These are working people, Americans, who are seeing their wages get pushed down.”

Bessent disputes Bloomberg’s claim that illegal immigration boosts American GDP, arguing: “If it were good, we’d just have a road from Tierra del Fuego to the Rio Grande and let everybody who wants to come in, in. We could double GDP, but per capita GDP per American would drop substantially. It’s about American citizens’ standard of living.”

The National Pulse has extensively reported on the economic impact of illegal immigration and the downward pressure it puts on American wages.

Migrant Crime

Border Czar Homan Announces Over 300 Arrests of Illegals Wanted for Murder, Child Rape.

President Donald J. Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, reports that within just 24 hours, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) has arrested over 300 illegals for crimes ranging from murder to child abuse. “Just yesterday, in the last 24 hours, ICE arrested over 308 serious criminals. Some of them were murderers, some of them were rapists, some of them raped a child, some of them sexually assaulted a child,” he said.

Homan revealed the arrest figure in an interview, where he also stressed that someone does not have to commit a serious crime to be arrested by ICE. “If you’re in the country illegally, ICE can visit you,” Trump’s border czar warned, though he confirmed the agency is concentrating on “the worst first.”

Homan announced raids had begun on Tuesday, January 21, just a day after President Trump was sworn into office.

ICE teams are out there as of today,” Homan said, adding, “We gave them a direction to prioritize public safety threats; they’re what we’re looking for. So, we’re working up the target list.”

President Trump has promised to remove criminal migrants en masse. A memo issued by the America First leader further states that the Department of Justice (DOJ) will prosecute those who try to interfere with or resist deportation actions.

“The U.S. Attorney’s Offices and litigating components of the Department of Justice shall investigate incidents involving any such misconduct for potential prosecution,” the memo states.

Many illegals cross the border from Mexico. Despite her far-left politics, Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum said last month that her country would accept migrants deported from the USA.

Trump Rescinds COVID Vax Requirement for Legal Immigrants.

President Donald J. Trump is rescinding the Biden government requirement that legal immigrants receive COVID-19 vaccination as part of their application for lawful permanent status. The order, effective January 22, 2025, states United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will no longer require documentation of receiving a vaccine nor will the agency make requests for evidence of vaccination.

“Effective January 22, 2025, USCIS waives any and all requirements that applicants for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident present documentation on their Form I-693, Report of Immigration Medical Examination and Vaccination Record, that they received the COVID-19 vaccination,” the notice on the USCIS website reads, continuing: “USCIS will not issue any Request for Evidence (RFE) or Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) related to proving a COVID-19 vaccination.”

“USCIS will not deny any adjustment of status application based on the applicant’s failure to present documentation that they received the COVID-19 vaccination,” the notice states.

After being inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States on January 20, 2025, Trump has swiftly enacted a hundreds of executive orders ending a bevy of Biden-era policies. In addition to the suspension of the USCIS vaccine mandate, Trump says he will reverse the firings of more than 8,000 U.S. military personnel who were dismissed for refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

“This week I will reinstate any service members who were unjustly expelled from our military for objecting to the COVID vaccine mandate—with full back pay,” the President said earlier this week.

BREAKING: Trump Signs Executive Order Suspending Physical Entry of Immigrants at Southern Border.

President Donald J. Trump has signed an executive order suspending the physical entry of immigrants through designated ports of entry at the U.S. southern border. The order instructs the authorities to “immediately” turn back or eject anyone entering the country illegally.

“Through the exercise of his authority under the Immigration and Nationality Act and the Constitution of the United States, President Trump is authorizing and directing the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, and the Department of State to take all necessary action to immediately repel, repatriate, and remove illegal aliens across the southern border of the United States,” the order, posted to the White House website on Wednesday reads. It continues: “Through the exercise of his authority, President Trump has further restricted access to the provisions of the immigration laws that would enable any illegal alien involved in an invasion across the southern border of the United States to remain in the United States, such as asylum.”

Under the Biden-Harris government, asylum and parole programs were used to release hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants into the United States each year, ballooning the number of unlawful foreign residents in the country into the tens of millions. Throughtout the 2024 presidential campaign, President Trump pledged to close the border and enact mass deportations to end the illegal immigration crisis.

The National Pulse reported on Tuesday on Trump immigration czar Tom Homan confirming U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids are already underway, with illegal immigrants with criminal records or deemed potential threats to public safety being a priority.

Trump Bans DEI for Federal Government, Federal Contractors.

President Donald J. Trump has issued an executive order aimed at dismantling what he describes as “dangerous, demeaning, and immoral race- and sex-based preferences under the guise of so-called ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’ (DEI) or ‘diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility’ (DEIA) that can violate the civil-rights laws of this Nation.” Issued on Tuesday, the order states, “Illegal DEI and DEIA policies not only violate the text and spirit of our longstanding Federal civil-rights laws, they also undermine our national unity, as they deny, discredit, and undermine the traditional American values of hard work, excellence, and individual achievement in favor of an unlawful, corrosive, and pernicious identity-based spoils system.”

The order instructs “all executive departments and agencies…to terminate all discriminatory and illegal preferences, mandates, policies, programs, activities, guidance, regulations, enforcement actions, consent orders, and requirements.”

It also calls for a review and overhaul of federal contracting processes to block companies implementing diversity quotas, affirmative action mandates, and other DEI-style policies, stating: “[T]he employment, procurement, and contracting practices of Federal contractors and subcontractors shall not consider race, color, sex, sexual preference, religion, or national origin in ways that violate the Nation’s civil rights laws,” and every contract or grant award shall include a term requiring the recipient “to certify that it does not operate any programs promoting DEI that violate any applicable Federal anti-discrimination laws.”

References to “DEI and DEIA principles” must be excised from “all Government-wide processes, directives, and guidance.” President Trump is also tasking the Attorney General with providing a strategic enforcement plan within 120 days, targeting “the most egregious and discriminatory DEI practitioners” in the private sector.

NY Times Defends Cartels, Claims Trump’s Foreign Terrorist Designation Will Hurt Economy.

The New York Times is unwittingly exposing that the Democratic Party and their corporate media allies adopted a policy of toleration towards Mexican drug cartels—violent criminal organizations that control large swaths of Mexico’s private and public institutions and territory. According to the liberal newspaper, President Donald J. Trump’s recent executive order designating the cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs)—which opens them to U.S. military action and severe economic sanctions—is a more significant threat to the American economy than to the criminal groups operating in Mexico and the U.S.

“President Trump’s executive order designating Mexican cartels and other criminal organizations as foreign terrorists could force some American companies to forgo doing business in Mexico rather than risk U.S. sanctions, according to former government officials and analysts—an outcome that could have a major effect on both countries given their deep economic interdependence,” the New York Times claims. “Even more complicated, these criminal networks have extended their operations far beyond drug trafficking and human smuggling. They are now embedded in a wide swath of the legal economy, from avocado farming to the country’s billion-dollar tourism industry, making it hard to be absolutely sure that American companies are isolated from cartel activities.”

The story is a stark admission by the Democratic Party-aligned corporate media outlet that the U.S. political elite under the Biden-Harris government adopted a stance of toleration and complacency towards the Mexican drug cartels. For Wall Street and Washington, D.C., the potential of minor disruptions to foreign trade and the U.S. economy was not worth the American and Mexican lives that are lost every year to cartel violence and the illegal drug trade.

CARTELS AND THE ECONOMY.

While it is true that the Mexican cartels have extensive ties to key industries in Mexico, part of the justification for the Trump White House’s decision is that it opens a wide array of economic and military options to dismantle the criminal organizations. Additionally, the cessation of business relations between U.S. companies and cartel fronts in Mexico is critical in ending the violent criminal gangs’ access to funding and resources.

The cartels are heavily reliant on their American business partners as avenues for laundering their ill-gotten gains and multiplying their revenue in U.S. markets. Estimates for the cartels’ total revenue range anywhere between $19 billion and $500 billion annually—on the high end, that is just under two percent of the overall U.S. annual GDP. Although economic sanctions would impact more than just cartel revenue and investments in Mexican-U.S. trade, any disruption would still likely be minimal, with exports from other trade partners filling the void.

The National Pulse reported on Tuesday that President Trump intends to begin enacting broad, 25 percent tariffs on Mexican and Canadian goods in February. The move is meant to force America’s neighbors to the negotiating table on trade imbalances and push both countries to crack down on the movement of illegal immigrants and illicit drugs into the U.S.

Trump DOJ Will Prosecute State and Local Officials Who Resist Immigration Enforcement Actions.

A new memo issued by President Donald J. Trump‘s Department of Justice (DOJ) is putting state and local officials on notice who intend to interfere, resist, or hamper federal immigration enforcement actions. Authored by acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove, the document outlines the DOJ’s position that state and local sanctuary laws do not shield government officials from prosecution for interfering in federal actions.

Additionally, the Trump DOJ memo states that federal prosecutors who fail to enforce United States immigration laws will be referred to the department for investigation and potential prosecution. The DOJ’s civil division is also directed to identify so-called “sanctuary” laws that “threaten to impede” federal immigration enforcement actions and prepare court challenges to the state and local statutes.

“Federal law prohibits state and local actors from resisting, obstructing and otherwise failing to comply with lawful immigration-related commands and requests,” Bove’s memo reads. It continues: “The U.S. Attorney’s Offices and litigating components of the Department of Justice shall investigate incidents involving any such misconduct for potential prosecution.”

Promises Kept: Trump Pardons Silk Road Founder Ross Ulbricht.

President Donald J. Trump has issued a “full and unconditional pardon” for Ross Ulbricht, the creator of the Silk Road online marketplace. Trump had previously pledged to free Ulbricht during a May 2024 speech at the Libertarian Party’s National Convention, extending the party’s supporters “a hand of friendship to ask for your partnership to defeat communism, defeat Marxism, and defeat crooked Joe Biden, who is destroying our country.”

“I just called the mother of Ross William Ulbricht to let her know that in honor of her and the Libertarian Movement, which supported me so strongly, it was my pleasure to have just signed a full and unconditional pardon of her son, Ross,” Trump announced on his Truth Social platform early Wednesday morning.

“The scum that worked to convict him were some of the same lunatics who were involved in the modern day weaponization of government against me. He was given two life sentences, plus 40 years,” he said, adding: “Ridiculous!”

Silk Road, launched by Ulbricht in 2011, used Bitcoin for anonymous exchanges, with the authorities linking the site to drug purchases. Libertarians have long regarded Ulbricht’s conviction as an example of excessive government intervention against transactions between willing buyers and willing sellers. Angela McArdle, Chairwoman of the Libertarian National Committee, lauded Trump’s decision to release Ulbricht, describing him as having been a “libertarian political prisoner for more than a decade.”
