Trump Bans DEI for Federal Government, Federal Contractors.

President Donald J. Trump has issued an executive order aimed at dismantling what he describes as “dangerous, demeaning, and immoral race- and sex-based preferences under the guise of so-called ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’ (DEI) or ‘diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility’ (DEIA) that can violate the civil-rights laws of this Nation.” Issued on Tuesday, the order states, “Illegal DEI and DEIA policies not only violate the text and spirit of our longstanding Federal civil-rights laws, they also undermine our national unity, as they deny, discredit, and undermine the traditional American values of hard work, excellence, and individual achievement in favor of an unlawful, corrosive, and pernicious identity-based spoils system.”

The order instructs “all executive departments and agencies…to terminate all discriminatory and illegal preferences, mandates, policies, programs, activities, guidance, regulations, enforcement actions, consent orders, and requirements.”

It also calls for a review and overhaul of federal contracting processes to block companies implementing diversity quotas, affirmative action mandates, and other DEI-style policies, stating: “[T]he employment, procurement, and contracting practices of Federal contractors and subcontractors shall not consider race, color, sex, sexual preference, religion, or national origin in ways that violate the Nation’s civil rights laws,” and every contract or grant award shall include a term requiring the recipient “to certify that it does not operate any programs promoting DEI that violate any applicable Federal anti-discrimination laws.”

References to “DEI and DEIA principles” must be excised from “all Government-wide processes, directives, and guidance.” President Trump is also tasking the Attorney General with providing a strategic enforcement plan within 120 days, targeting “the most egregious and discriminatory DEI practitioners” in the private sector.

Biden is Trying to Sabotage Trump With a Fresh Ban on Future Oil and Gas.

President Joe Biden has issued a ban on future offshore oil and gas drilling across significant portions of U.S. coastal waters. The move could significantly derail President-elect Donald J. Trump’s pledge to unleash American energy through granting new leases and expanding drilling rights.

The executive order, announced Monday by the White House, relies on Biden’s authority under the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act and will block new leasing in federal waters off the East and West coasts, the eastern edge of the Gulf of Mexico, and parts of the northern Bering Sea. However, it leaves most of the Gulf of Mexico untouched. In response to Biden’s directive, Trump’s spokeswoman, Karoline Leavitt, criticized the move in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

“This is a disgraceful decision designed to exact political revenge on the American people who gave President Trump a mandate to increase drilling and lower gas prices,” Leavitt writes, adding: “Rest assured, Joe Biden will fail, and we will drill, baby, drill.”

GREEN AGENDA.

Environmental groups such as Oceana have praised the ban, viewing it as a necessary step to address climate change and protect coastal communities. The American Petroleum Institute, representing oil and gas interests, argues that the ban threatens U.S. energy security. Industry representatives expressed the need for Congress to overturn the policy, viewing it as a politically driven impediment to American energy development.

The implications for Trump’s administration could be substantial, as reversing the ban may require legislative action rather than a unilateral executive decision.

Border Invasion

Biden & Harris Issued 300 Executive Orders to ERASE America’s Border.

The Biden-Harris government has issued nearly 300 executive orders to implement its mass immigration and open-border policies, according to Senator John Kennedy (R-LA). Additionally, the Louisiana Republican stressed this all occurred during Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s first year in office.

“Reminder: The Biden-Harris White House wrote nearly 300 executive orders to open our border in just their FIRST YEAR in office,” Kennedy wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Senior officials in the Biden-Harris government have repeatedly attempted to obfuscate their role in the ongoing illegal immigration crisis at the U.S. southern border. The National Pulse reported that Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, during a recent interview, attempted to evade blame for Americans who’ve been murdered by illegal immigrants released into the country by his agency.

300 EXECUTIVE ACTIONS.

The Migration Policy Institute (MPI) released a study in January 2022 stating that President Biden took 296 executive actions on immigration during his first year. MPI analysts Muzaffar Chishti and Jessica Bolter noted that these actions included reversing or beginning to undo 89 Trump-era policies, which restricted the ability of illegal immigrants to enter or be released into the country.

“Biden’s actions greatly narrowed the number of unauthorized immigrants vulnerable to arrest, detention, and removal, lifted some barriers to U.S. entry and accessing immigration benefits, and raised the refugee resettlement ceiling to 125,000,” MPI’s report states.

In the early days of the Biden-Harris government, immigrant rights activists pressured the White House to move more quickly in rolling back former President Donald J. Trump’s actions to secure the U.S. border. However, the pro-mass immigration campaign did not stop after a year. In January of this year, senior officials from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency held discussions with an activist group, the Detention Watch Network, which aims to abolish immigration detention in the United States.

Department of State

‘You Are Judged’ – Biden State Dept Promotions Contingent on DEI.

The U.S. Department of State has implemented a finalized policy making promotions contingent on employees‘ ability to document their active engagement in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) practices. Federal agencies, like the State Department, were required to update employment and promotion standards following President Joe Biden’s Executive Order 13985, which “established that affirmatively advancing equity, civil rights, racial justice, and equal opportunity is the responsibility of the whole of our Government.”

“We made the change that if you wanted to be considered for promotion at the Department of State, you must be able to document what you are doing to support diversity, equity and inclusion, and accessibility. This is how you are judged for promotion,” Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley explained during a speech at the City Club Forum in April last year. Abercrombie-Winstanley, the former ambassador to Malta, was serving as the State Department‘s chief diversity and inclusion officer when the executive order was issued and was tasked with laying the groundwork for the new employment policy.

She added: “So that means my allies who are not female or minority are also interested in being able to show ‘I’m doing good work on this.'”

When the Department of State first announced the finalized DEI rule for public review, they stated: “Establishing the advancement of [DEI] as an element for all employees as part of their job performance criteria, career advancement opportunities, and senior performance pay.” The policy change is, however, just one component of a broader shift to align employment procedures with the State Department’s “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Strategic Plan 2022 – 2026.”

Biden Backs Down From Taking Executive Action To Secure US Southern Border.

President Joe Biden backed down on Monday from comments he made earlier this year suggesting he would take executive action to secure the US southern border. The Democrat President said he was looking to Congress for a legislative fix for the border crisis, telling the press aboard Air Force One that he would not take actions similar to those enacted by former President Donald Trump.

“I’m counting on the border action happening by itself, them passing it,” the President said. When confronted about the Senate’s inability to reach a bipartisan agreement on the border, Biden replied, “Well, they haven’t yet, they haven’t yet. I’m helping them.”

In response to plummeting approval polls, sources inside the Biden government suggested in late February that the President was considering the use of presidential 212f authority to limit the number of asylum seekers who could be released into the US. Biden, however, faced almost immediate pushback from progressives and open border advocates within the Democrat Party.

A coalition of over 150 progressive political groups sent a scathing letter to the Biden White House, opposing executive action to restrict the flow of illegal immigrants across the southern border. The coalition accused Biden of emulating former President Trump, adding that any action by the Democrat President would “tarnish [his] administration irreparably.”

Almost immediately after his inauguration as President, Biden swiftly moved to reverse many of former President Trump’s executive orders relating to immigration policy and border security. The move by Biden sparked a rush of illegal immigrants towards the US southern border — in large part fueling a crisis that has arguably become the central issue in the 2024 presidential election.
