Anti-Israel Mob Seizes and Barricades Columbia University Dean’s Office.

Anti-Israel activists have seized Hamilton Hall at Columbia University, which holds the dean’s office and other important facilities. Palestinian flags now fly from the building, named after Alexander Hamilton, who attended Columbia when it was still known as King’s College, as well as a banner renaming it Hind’s Hall after a Palestinian killed in Gaza.

“Protestors have voiced their intention to remain at Hind’s Hall until Columbia concedes to CUAD’s three demands: divestment, financial transparency, and amnesty,” said the Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD) group. However, it claims the activists are an “autonomous group.”

The university newspaper reports the occupiers are “moving metal gates to barricade the doors, blocking entrances with wooden tables and chairs, and zip-tying doors shut.” They are said to be “dozens” strong and gained access to the building by breaking windows.

The occupation comes as Columbia has begun suspending students involved in establishing a ‘Gaza Solidarity Encampment’ on campus grounds. Hundreds of anti-Israel students have been arrested across the United States, including Rep. Ilhan Omar’s daughter, Isra Hirsi.

The Gaza war has become a political headache for Joe Biden, with some Muslims — key to his voter base in swing states like Michigan — now saying they would rather have Donald Trump back in the White House. The 81-year-old has been forced to insist there are fine people on both sides of the campus crisis to retain support.

Donald Trump has further driven the wedge between Biden and his base, arguing the Democrat “HATES Israel and Hates the Jewish people [but] HATES the Palestinians even more” and “just doesn’t know what to do.”

However, some GOP figures, such as Speaker Mike Johnson, have undermined the former president’s efforts by intervening.

Gaza Protests Have Seen Over 500 Arrests So Far.

Police have arrested more than 500 pro-Hamas activists at dozens of college campuses across the United States. Demonstrations against Israel and in support of the Hamas terrorist group have roiled American universities over the past two weeks, often resulting in violent clashes between protestors and law enforcement.

The protests pose a major problem for the Biden government as the 81-year-old Democrat incumbent struggles in 2024 presidential election polls against his opponent, former President Donald Trump. Biden has already faced concerning protest votes in the Michigan, Minnesota, and Washington Democratic presidential primaries — with progressive and Muslim voters casting their ballots for the “uncommitted” line. Michigan, an especially crucial swing state in the November election, has a large Arab-American and Muslim population that has been highly critical of Biden’s stance on Israel’s war against Hamas.

Campus protestors are demanding the Biden government end what they perceive as support for the Jewish state. Additionally, some factions of the protestors are demanding the respective academic institutions divest themselves from business relationships with Israel. Concerningly, a subset of the demonstrations are calling for the removal of Jewish students from campus and even violence against those they deem to be “Zionists.”

Columbia University witnessed more than 100 arrests last week while school authorities attempted to dismantle a protester encampment. Negotiations to remove the tents continue, with the university denying rumors of a New York Police Department (NYPD) presence on campus. The University of Southern California has also been a site of unrest, with 93 people taken into custody for trespassing; one individual was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. Unspecified safety concerns led to the cancellation of the university’s commencement ceremony.

WATCH: Kassam Explains How Mike Johnson’s Israel-Gaza Intervention ‘Snatches Defeat From the Jaws of Victory.’

Raheem Kassam, editor-in-chief of The National Pulse, says Speaker Mike Johnson is doing the donor class’s bidding by drawing fire away from Joe Biden amid the ongoing crisis on college campuses. Speaking to Steve Bannon on War Room, Kassam argued special interests were a more plausible explanation than mere stupidity.

“The Democrat Party is tearing itself in half over this issue. You simply do not interfere and intervene when your enemy is making a mistake. That was Napoleon’s comment at Waterloo; it remains true to this day,” Kassam explained.

“What he’s doing right now is purely for his donors,” Kassam argued.

“Kevin McCarthy had a thing where he was pledging not to spend money against his own political opponents in his own party. Staying out of the primaries, all of that stuff,” he continued.

“Mike Johnson is not beholden to that pledge, and I bet you somebody has told him, ‘Hey, all these people going after you? Marjorie Taylor Greene, all this stuff? We’ll put in money for their opponents if you go up there and do our bidding on Columbia college campus.'”

If this is untrue, Kassam added, “Let’s hear him deny it.”

SHOOTING TRUMP IN THE FOOT.

Speaking on the campus crisis, Kassam reminded the audience it is “a situation where the White House, remember, has been sending emissaries into Arab and Muslim neighborhoods in the United States, and they are getting shunned and shoved out of these neighborhoods, creating this political nightmare, disaster for Joe Biden and his foreign policy apparatus.”

Currently, the ire of students and faculty is aimed almost exclusively at Biden. However, Johnson inserting himself into the issue only gives the impression that “the GOP, and by extension, in their minds… Trump must have something to do with this, too.”

“He’s taking an issue where the Democrats have been shooting themselves in the foot repeatedly, and he is now using that weapon to shoot the rest of us in the foot,” Kassam stressed. He said “abject, abject foolishness” could explain Johnson’s behavior. However, he does not buy this: “I don’t believe he’s that stupid. I think he’s been put up to this.”

The most likely culprits, he suggested, were Never Trump and Uniparty figures in the GOP who do not want a second Trump administration.

Additionally, Kassam contrasted Johnson’s behavior with Trump’s politically astute decision to drive a wedge between Biden and voters who are both pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian, emphasizing Biden hates them both.

U.S. Demands Answers from Israel After Gaza ‘Mass Graves’ Discovery.

The U.S. is demanding “answers” from Israel following the discovery of mass graves near two hospitals in Gaza. Palestinian authorities discovered nearly 400 bodies in mass graves outside the Nasser and al-Shifa hospitals. The remains include those of women and the elderly. Some of the bodies were found naked with their hands tied behind their backs.

“Among the deceased were allegedly older people, women and wounded, while others were found tied with their hands and stripped of their clothes,” said a spokesman for the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. “This of course indicates serious violations of international human rights law and international humanitarian law, and these need to be subjected to further investigations.”

White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan called the reports “deeply disturbing.”

“We want answers,” Sullivan told reporters. “We want to see this thoroughly and transparently investigated.”

The Israeli army has denied responsibility, calling any suggestions to the contrary “baseless” and “unfounded.” It claims the graves were “dug by Gazans” months ago.

‘LOSING THE PR WAR.’

The discovery of the graves coincides with an impending Israeli assault against Rafah. The Israeli military has mobilized two reservist brigades, with footage suggesting preparations for refugee relocation in Khan Younis, near Rafah. Israel’s government, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has indicated the impending initiation of a ground operation.

Despite warnings of an imminent humanitarian crisis, Israel plans on evacuating Palestinian civilians from Rafah. The Israeli Defence Ministry acquired 40,000 tents to accommodate Palestinians evacuated from Rafah in anticipation of assault.

Should allegations of Israeli responsibility for the mass graves prove true, it will be a significant blow to the Jewish State’s reputation and ability to continue its war against Hamas. The Israeli military response and civilian death toll in Gaza has increased global sympathy for the Palestinians. Politicians in countries that are key Israeli allies, including the U.S. and UK, have called to cease arms shipments to Israel. Former President Donald Trump has repeatedly warned that Israel is losing a vital PR war and must finish up its military action in Gaza quickly.

Trump Drives The Wedge: ‘Biden Hates Israel, Hates Palestinians More!’

Joe Biden ends up sending “the wrong message every single time” on the increasingly riotous Gaza protests engulfing U.S. college campuses because he is hostile to both Israel and the Palestinians, argues Donald Trump. The former president called out his successor for having supposedly run for office “because of Charlottesville,” noting the disorder America now faces is far worse than in 2017.

“Crooked Joe Biden would say, constantly, that he ran because of Charlottesville. Well, if that’s the case, he’s done a really terrible job because Charlottesville is like a ‘peanut’ compared to the riots and anti-Israel protests that are happening all over our Country, RIGHT NOW,” Trump explained in a Truth Social post.

“The fact is that Crooked Joe Biden HATES Israel and Hates the Jewish people. The problem is that he HATES the Palestinians even more, and he just doesn’t know what to do,” he explained.

BIDEN’S CHARLOTTESVILLE. 

Trump called out both “neo-Nazis” and “the alt-left” after protests over the removal of a statue of Robert E. Lee in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017 turned violent. Biden has falsely claimed Trump described “white supremacists, Nazis, and the KKK” at the rally as “very fine people” for years.

Now, however, Biden finds himself claiming there are fine people on both sides of the campus crisis. He says he opposes both anti-Semitism and “those who don’t understand what’s going on with the Palestinians,” as Jews in the U.S. are subjected to assaults and pro-Hamas chants. The 81-year-old is seeking to placate both parties due to his dependence on Muslim and younger voters, who skew pro-Palestinian, in key swing states like Michigan.

Trump’s approach of calling out Biden for his issue with both pro-Israel and anti-Israel voters contrasts with that of Speaker Mike Johnson. The congressman has drawn fire away from Biden and towards the GOP by inserting himself into the campus crisis, earning criticism from analysts including National Pulse editor-in-chief Raheem Kassam.

‘Privileged’ Mehdi Hasan Says His Firing Was ‘A Blessing.’

Former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan has described his firing by the left-wing network as a “blessing,” boasting that, while he was “disappointed when they canceled my show,” he can now “say whatever I want in a way a lot of folks who have employers can’t.” Hasan departed the network in January.

The British-born Muslim made the comments in a lengthy puff piece for New York magazine, which implied MSNBC fired him for embarrassing an Israeli government spokesman in an interview. In fact, Hasan had come under heavy criticism for his social media output after the October 7 terror raid on Israel, which primarily targeted civilians.

Among other things, Hasan shared a pro-terrorism post blaming the attack on the “utter desperation of gaza palestinians [sic],” who saw “no options for their future but the launch of a suicidal war.”

‘BOUGHT PRIVILEGE’.

The article offered several insights into Hasan’s life, with the far-left journalist admitting his Indian immigrant parents “bought privilege” for him in England, where he attended prestigious schools and universities.

It revealed he had a “reputation as a loudmouth” at school, and “would go outside during the national anthem.” He claimed he was “not some anti-British person,” however, and that the stunt was motivated by “issue[s] with the royal family.”

Any similar issues with the Qatari royal family, which wields absolute power and hosts many of the senior leaders of Hamas, did not stop him from taking up work with Al Jazeera later in life — an episode upon which the New York article barely touched.

MULLAH MEHDI. 

Another missing episode in the story of Hasan’s life, which New York charted from age five, recounting his teenage ambition to “become the first Asian prime minister of the UK” and his journalistic rise, was his long flirtation with Islamist extremism.

His promotion to politics editor of The New Statesman and entrée into BBC commentary was noted, but not the controversial sermons he gave around the same age, describing “non-Muslims” as “cattle” who “live their lives as animals.” He also preached that unbelievers are “people of no intelligence” or morality.

These sermons were public knowledge when MSNBC chose to hire Hasan.

Joe Biden Thinks There are ‘Fine People on Both Sides’ of the Israel-Hamas Protests.

Joe Biden is trying to walk a fine line as anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian protests grip U.S. college campuses, seeking to denounce anti-Semitism while placating Muslim and young progressive voters who oppose the Israeli government’s operations against Hamas in Gaza.

“Do you condemn the anti-Semitic protests on college campuses?” a reporter asked Biden during an Earth Day event on Monday.

“I condemn the anti-Semitic protests; that’s why I’ve set up a program to deal with that,” the Democrat said. “I also condemn those who don’t understand what’s going on with the Palestinians,” he added hastily.

The 81-year-old Democrat has claimed for years that, when Donald Trump said there were “very fine people on both sides” during protests against the removal of a statue of Robert E. Lee in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017, he was including “white supremacists, Nazis, and the KKK.”

In fact, Trump specifically said he was referring to people “other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists,” and even some anti-Trump figures, such as Mike Rapaport, have admitted they were wrong to repeat the “fine people” hoax as recounted by Biden.

Biden now finds himself having to suggest there are fine people among anti-Semites on college campuses ahead of the elections in November. The White House has been treading carefully throughout the conflict in Gaza, fearing backlash from traditionally Democrat-supporting voters in swing states like Michigan.

Biden is also struggling with young voters, who skew more pro-Palestinian than older voters, partly as a result of the war. The Democrat led Donald Trump by 23 points at this stage in the 2020 election, but his current lead is just eight points.

Actor Alec Baldwin, who continues to be embroiled in legal hot water over the shooting of Rust movie cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, appeared to lash out physically against a woman who was harassing him in a coffee shop. The video was posted by the account “Crackhead Barney & Friends” with the caption: “White devil Alec Baldwin attacked me… While I was trying to get coffeee [sic].”

In the clip, it appears as though Baldwin himself is the one trying to get coffee, while being forced to endure the shrill demands from a woman.

“One time, one time Alec… come on, Alec. Just say ‘free Palestine’ one time, just one time and I’ll leave you alone,” she says, adding, “Fuck Israel, fuck Zionism,” before Baldwin moves towards her and smacks her phone with his left hand.

Ilhan Omar’s Daughter Arrested.

Barnard College suspended Isra Hirsi, the daughter of Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar, for her involvement in a pro-Palestinian protest at Columbia University. The daughter of the controversial Somali Congresswoman was arrested at the protest.

Hirsi announced her suspension on social media on Thursday. This coincided with Columbia University President Nemat Shafik’s congressional appearance discussing antisemitism on campuses. Dr. Shafik assured lawmakers of her commitment to enforce rules relating to unauthorized protests and antisemitism during her testimony. Barnard is the sister school of Columbia.

Representative Omar, a committee member during the hearing, pushed Dr. Shafik on her treatment of Palestinian and Muslim students without mentioning her daughter’s involvement in the protest.

Hirsi, who identified herself as an organizer with Columbia University Apartheid Divest, has been advocating for the university to sever ties with companies supporting Israel.

In a social media post, Hirsi wrote, “I just received notice that I am 1 of 3 students suspended for standing in solidarity with Palestinians facing a genocide.”

Hirsi’s mother is also vocal critic of U.S. support for Israel. Joe Biden faces increasing pressure and resistance from political progressives and Muslim and Arab Americans for his government’s continued support of the Jewish state.

Biden-Backed Palestinian Authority Announces Payouts for Attacks Against Israelis.

The newly formed Palestinian Authority (PA) government in the West Bank territory announced it would distribute bonus payments to security forces responsible for attacks on Israeli citizens and military targets. Just days earlier, President Joe Biden‘s State Department declared its support for the newly formed West Bank government, stating they looked forward to working with the PA “to deliver on credible reforms.”

“Service Director in Jenin Adnan Abu Aisheh said that the message of the service, under the instructions of its leader, Majed Faraj, is to emphasize what President Mahmoud Abbas has said again and again — that if we are left with one penny, it will be paid to the families of the martyrs and the prisoners,” Palestine News Agency WAFA reported. On April 4, the Palestinian General Intelligence Service issued grant payouts to 36 families whose relatives were killed or arrested in the course of committing crimes against Israelis.

The PA’s announcement comes as a blow to the Biden government‘s initiative to elevate the West Bank government as the legitimate authority over a separate Palestinian state as part of a potential peace process. State Department officials have insisted the PA be reformed and given governing control over the Gaza Strip after Israel’s military operations against the Hamas terrorist group there conclude. Former President Donald Trump suspended American taxpayer funding of the Palestinian Authority. The Biden government subsequently reinstated the aid.

West Bank Palestinian officials have repeatedly refused to condemn the barbaric October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks against Israel. Some of the newly ‘reformed’ PA members have even gone so far as to endorse continued acts of terrorism against the Jewish state.
