Jan 6 Defendant Released.

January 6 defendant Kevin Seefried of Laurel, Delaware, has been granted early release from prison after the Supreme Court agreed to take up a relevant appeal.

Seefried was handed a three-year prison term for “obstruction of an official proceeding,” with additional periods of one year and six months on misdemeanor charges.

The obstruction charge is at the center of the Supreme-Court-approved case Fischer v. United States, which questions the novel way Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) has used it to prosecute many Jan 6 protestors.

While the DOJ argues the disruption of the 2020 election’s certification caused by protestors amounted to obstruction of an official proceeding, the relevant laws were passed in the wake of the Enron scandal. They were not intended to target protestors, but people who doctored and destroyed documents to sabotage an investigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Should Fischer succeed in the Supreme Court, a large number of protestors tried on obstruction of an official proceeding charges could be freed. Moreover, “conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding” and “obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding” are among the charges special prosecutor Jack Smith has leveled at Donald Trump, and Fischer‘s success could cut the case against the former president “in half.”

Years on from 2021, Jan 6 prosecutions are accelerating rather than decelerating. Prosecutors are targeting protestors for increasingly minor offenses, including MAGA influencer Isabella DeLuca, whose alleged crime is touching a table that was later passed out of a broken window.

Trump SecDef Says Jan 6 Committee Threatened Him Into Silence.

Christopher Miller, an Acting Secretary of Defense under Donald Trump, says he was threatened into silence by the Jan 6 Committee.

Miller says members of the committee, led by Democrats with the assistance of two ‘Never Trump’ Republicans, intimidated him into silence after he made media appearances and described how the Trump administration pushed for the National Guard to be deployed ahead of Jan 6.

The Jan 6 Committee, which tried to deny Trump authorized National Guard deployment, sent Miller’s lawyer “legalistic” missives suggesting he could be “re-interviewed” if he had “additional information he wants to share.”

“It was more that latent threat of: ‘If you want to keep going on TV, we’re gonna drag you in here again for additional hours of hearing testimony.’ So that was the nature of that whole thing,” Miller explained. “It was the latent threat of the government continuing to intrude into my life,” he added.

Miller said he believed Liz Cheney, who served as committee vice chairwoman, was its driving force, and pushed for him to be silenced because his testimony was a “serious threat to [her] narrative.”

“I didn’t talk about it with anybody else because of the fear or the concern,” Miller admitted.

“I wasn’t communicating with anybody, because I knew any interactions I had on it would result in me having to… acknowledge that I’d been in communications with other people. And then that just sort of opens up a whole can of worms with the investigators that I just didn’t want to do,” he admitted.

“It was much easier just to not be involved with anybody or talk to anybody about this stuff because it was going to cause conflict and difficulties with the investigating team, so I didn’t talk to other people, quite simply.”

NCIS Actor Charged Over January 6 Capitol Riot.

Actor Nolan Freeman, known for roles in NCIS and The Rookie, has been arrested for purported involvement in the Capitol riot on January 6. Records obtained by POLITICO allege Freeman ‘occupied’ the Capitol for approximately 28 minutes, alongside fellow Trump supporters, after gaining entry through a damaged window.

Capitol Police video indicates Freeman joined others inside the building around 2:23 PM, dressed in a red hoodie beneath a black jacket and wearing a red cap with white lettering. He exited the building around 2:49 PM.

Freeman is charged with obstructing an official proceeding and unauthorized presence within a governmental building. He’s also accused of employing disruptive language, allegedly obstructing the orderly function of Congress.

On June 27, 2023, FBI agents visited Freeman at his Nevada residence. When questioned about his presence at the Capitol on January 6, he requested to consult with an attorney. Data subpoenaed from American Airlines revealed that Freeman traveled to D.C. on January 4 and returned on January 8.

Freeman, last seen on TV in a 2019 NCIS episode, was summoned to a Nevada Court on March 19. His next appearance is on April 2. According to the Justice Department, more than 1,358 persons have been charged regarding the Capitol riots, with a considerable number accused of attacking law enforcement.

Conservative influencer Isabella DeLuca was also charged this week for her involvement in the January 6 riots. Her alleged crime was touching a table.

KASSAM: Jan 6 2025 Could See Capitol Hill Carnage Like Never Before, Here’s Why…

Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, warned the Democrats and their enablers have every intention of unleashing “carnage” on January 6, 2025, if Donald Trump wins reelection but they retain power in Congress.

“The Democrats… I’m telling you, this is the phrase they’re going to use: ‘The last day to save democracy will be January 6th, 2025,’” Kassam said on War Room, explaining how the stage will be set for a “constitutional crisis.”

“That is how they’ll do it. They will mobilize every single thing they have, they’ll have more people on Capitol Hill than January 6th, 2021, and you mark my words, this is what they’re building up to: a real confrontation, a battle for Capitol Hill,” Kassam explained.

He pointed out that “what they claim January 6th was, they think that’s actually a pretty good idea,” and we know this because “in 2016, they objected to the results, they were the ones standing up in the Congress and saying, excuse me, objection, we’re not trying to have [Donald Trump] seated as President of the United States.”

“So they’re just running that playbook again, but they’ve decided, hey, we’re going to run full pelt towards it this time, we’re going to run full pelt towards the objections system, full pelt towards decertifying the election, throw this country into a constitutional crisis, and let it play out as it will,” he added.

Kassam warned War Room listeners that “if you allow them, ladies and gentlemen, to allow that to play out, [by] giving Democrats control of Congress, you will see a carnage in this country… like you’ve never seen before.”

J6 Committee Hid Proof Trump Requested 10,000 National Guard.

The January 6th Committee intentionally hid a transcript that vindicates the claim made by then-President Trump that he requested 10,000 National Guard troops on January 6.

Back up: J6 Committee previously said there was “no evidence” to corroborate Trump’s claim he requested troops.

  • The committee was comprised of Democrats and two virulent anti-Trump Republicans: Liz Cheney and Adam Kinsinger.

The proof: Deputy Chief of Staff Anthony Ornato testified to the J6 Committee on January 28, 2022, with Cheney in attendance, that Trump suggested 10,000 troops would be needed to keep the peace.

  • Ornato testified that he heard Trump’s Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows, on the phone with D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser making the request;
  • Ornato told the committee: “I remember the number 10,000 coming up,” and said he heard Meadows tell Bowser: “The president wants to make sure that you have enough. You know, He is willing to ask for 10,000.”

In the end, Bowser declined the White House recommendation and opted just to have 350 troops operating in a limited capacity on J6.

Big picture: The J6 Committee conducted roughly 1,000 interviews. But fewer than half of them, including Ornato’s, were made public. How many more hidden interviews include testimony exonerating Trump?

EXPLAINED: The ‘Tall Tales’ Told By Biden During His State of the Union Speech.

Joe Biden peddled several false claims during Thursday’s State of the Union Address. The 81-year-old Democrat — known to tell tall tales — delivered a speech before Congress that was more akin to a campaign kick-off than the typically more staid affair expected for the State of the Union.

In relation to American involvement with Ukraine, Biden suggested that Republicans opposing the allocation of additional U.S. taxpayer dollars to the country are in favor of America abandoning its global leadership status. However, those opposed have consistently highlighted the need for American interests to take precedence over those of other nations.

Biden also made a misleading claim regarding former President Donald Trump’s interactions with Russia’s Vladimir Putin” , implying Trump gave Putin free rein in Eastern Europe. Yet, context reveals that Trump’s statement — made during a rally — was part of a story recounting interactions with a NATO member not paying their defense obligations. Biden additionally claimed the West would be further endangered without renewed American aid to Ukraine – which is not backed up by currently available evidence.

Biden stated that the riots at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 — and subsequent concerns regarding the integrity of the 2020 presidential election — represented the “gravest threat” to American democracy since the Civil War. This claim ignores historic moments of danger like World War I, World War II, the Cold War, and the 9-11 Terrorist Attacks.

Contrary to President Biden’s statement that his administration has created 15 million new jobs, economic data shows that this number conflates jobs recovered post-Covid lockdowns with newly created positions. The National Pulse has previously reported that legal and illegal immigrant labor has fueled most of the job recovery under President Biden.

Regarding inflation, despite Biden’s statement that the U.S. has the world’s lowest rate, several countries currently have a demonstrably lower inflation rate, including Canada, Japan, and Switzerland. Additionally, Biden’s remarks about an increase in consumer confidence contradict several standard measures that show confidence on the decline.

FBI Arrests Blaze Reporter Steve Baker Over Jan 6 Scoops.

Investigative journalist Steve Baker was taken into custody on Friday by the FBI for “non-violent misdemeanors” related to his reporting on the January 6, 2021 Capitol riots, according to his employer, Blaze Media. This follows Baker’s announcement on Tuesday that the FBI had issued a signed arrest warrant for his “alleged J6 crimes” and that he was ordered to self-surrender to federal authorities in Dallas, Texas.

Baker turned himself in at 7 a.m. on Friday and was transported to the Dallas Courthouse for a 10 a.m. hearing before a Magistrate. He expressed concern about the process, writing online, “My attorneys have also been assured by the gov. that this will be an ‘in and out’ affair and that they have ‘no intention’ of detaining me. But, rather than issuing a simple order to appear, they seem to feel the need to give me a dose of the personal humiliation treatment.”

This incident mirrors the arrests of other journalists who reported on J6 events, including David Medina and Owen Shroyer. Blaze Media stated, “Steve Baker, our investigative journalist, has now been taken into FBI custody for his J6 reporting,” marking the latest development in the legal repercussions for journalists covering the controversial event.

Democrats Say They Won’t Certify Trump Victory in Congress.

Democrats who have spent the last three years labeling former President Donald Trump and other Republicans who questioned the 2020 presidential election results as “insurrectionists” now claim they’ll refuse to certify a potential Trump victory in November.

The Atlantic reports:

[Attorney Jason] Murray and other legal scholars say that, absent clear guidance from the Supreme Court, a Trump win could lead to a constitutional crisis in Congress. Democrats would have to choose between confirming a winner many of them believe is ineligible and defying the will of voters who elected him. Their choice could be decisive: As their victory in a House special election in New York last week demonstrated, Democrats have a serious chance of winning a majority in Congress in November, even if Trump recaptures the presidency on the same day. If that happens, they could have the votes to prevent him from taking office.

In interviews, senior House Democrats would not commit to certifying a Trump win, saying they would do so only if the Supreme Court affirms his eligibility. But during oral arguments, liberal and conservative justices alike seemed inclined to dodge the question of his eligibility altogether and throw the decision to Congress.

The apparent contingency plan comes amid sliding approval ratings for President Joe Biden and mounting indications Trump could win a second term in 2024.

The crux of the plan is based on the recent Colorado Supreme Court ruling that the 14th Amendment’s insurrection clause bars Trump from the presidential ballot. If the U.S. Supreme Court does not clearly rule against the Colorado court’s decision, it leaves open the door for Congressional Democrats to attempt to block the certification of the 2024 presidential election on the grounds that Trump is ineligible under the insurrection clause.

If Congressional Democrats won a House majority and were to refuse to certify the 2024 presidential election, it would set off a potential constitutional crisis. With the Electoral College winner thrown out, the Constitution indicates the election of the President would be thrown to the House of Representatives. Thus far, senior House Democrats have refused to say if they would certify a Trump victory in November. Some have said they would only do so if the Supreme Court explicitly affirmed his eligibility to serve.

Democratic officials have prosecuted and incarcerated thousands connected to the Capitol riot on January 6th, 2021, while concurrently accusing Republican attempts to legally overturn what they consider potentially fraudulent 2020 results as another form of insurrection. The lawfare campaign against Trump has also aimed to prevent his candidacy in the 2024 election through several federal and state prosecutions.

DATA: Trump Beats Biden Even if Criminally Convicted.

New polling indicates Donald Trump would defeat Joe Biden by a clear eight points even if he was “convicted for inciting the Capitol riots of January 6th,” 54 percent to 46 percent.

Broken down by party affiliation, the poll of 2,022 registered voters had 91 percent of Republicans saying they would vote for Trump in November despite a Jan 6 conviction — undermining the narrative that the GOP base would abandon him post-conviction. Fifty-eight percent of Independents also said they would still vote for the former president.

Pollsters also asked who respondents would vote for if Trump is convicted in embattled Fulton Country District Attorney Fani Willis’s Georgia election interference case. In this scenario, Trump defeats Biden by four points, 52-48, with GOP support at 93 percent and Independent support at 55 percent.

If convicted in the classified documents case, Trump would tie Biden 50-50, with GOP support at 94 percent and Independent support at 39 percent.

A majority of poll respondents, 54 percent, said they believe the prosecution efforts against Trump are politically motivated.

Meanwhile, 72 percent said Hunter Biden “should serve jail time” if he is convicted of tax evasion, and 71 percent said Joe Biden should be impeached “if [he] was working with his son and brother to help bring in multimillion dollars fees from China, Russia and Ukraine while he was Vice President.”

WATCH: Biden Claims He Recently Met With French President Who Died in 1996.

President Joe Biden claims he recently spoke to “Mitterand from Germany, I mean France” at a G7 summit, referring to President François Mitterrand of France — who left office in 1995 and has been dead for 28 years.

Denouncing Donald Trump and January 6th “insurrectionists” during a speech in Nevada, the 81-year-old Democrat said of Trump: “January 6th insurrectionists, you know what he calls them? Patriots!”

“Right, right, right after I was elected, I went to what they call a G7 meeting, all the NATO leaders,” Biden explained — although the G7 does not include every NATO member, and does include Japan, which is outside NATO.

“I sat down and I said, ‘America is back,’ and Mitterand from Germany, I mean France, looked at me, and said, said, ‘You know, why, how long you back for?'”

He added that the Chancellor of Germany — Angela Merkel at the time, though he did not attempt to name her — demanded: “What would you say, Mr. President, if you picked up the paper tomorrow in The London Times and The London Times said a thousand people break through the House of Commons… to stop the election of the Prime Minister?”

The United Kingdom’s Prime Minister, whom the British monarch invites to form a government, is not “elected” in the House of Commons, and The London Times is not a real newspaper.

It is not the first time Biden has confused the long-dead Mitterrand with the current President of France, Emmanuel Macron, with the Democrat telling a similar version of the story and making the same mistake in 2022.
