Musk Reveals European Union Offered Secret ‘Illegal’ Deal to Censor Social Media.

Elon Musk, owner of the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, says that the European Union (EU) offered him a secret, “illegal” deal to quietly censor posts on the platform.

Posting on X, Musk said, “The European Commission offered 𝕏 an illegal secret deal: if we quietly censored speech without telling anyone, they would not fine us. The other platforms accepted that deal. 𝕏 did not.”

Musk was replying to European Commission Vice President Margrethe Vestager, who announced on Friday that X is not complying with the EU’s censorious Digital Services Act, and the bloc is taking legal action against it.

The Commission, a body not accountable to European voters, claims that X allows anyone to be a verified user, allowing “motivated malicious actors” to abuse verification to mislead.

The Commission also claims that X does not provide enough transparency regarding advertising and does not provide sufficient access to its data to “researchers.” Musk believes the people in question are not “researchers” but “political operatives” whose goal is “to force X to restaff the censorship squad fired when Elon took over.”

The EU began investigating X in December of 2023, and it could be the first platform to fall foul of the DSA. Musk faces multi-million dollar fines from the EU for violating the DSA.

“We look forward to a very public battle in court, so that the people of Europe can know the truth,” the tech entrepreneur says.

X Drops ID Verification Firm Tied to Israeli Spies.

Elon Musk’s X (formerly Twitter) is dropping AU10TIX, the Israeli firm it uses to confirm verified users’ identities through document scans and selfies, in favor of Stripe. Reports allege that AU10TIX chairman and founder Ron Atzmon is or was a spy for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

X recently required all verified users, who receive a blue checkmark and can become eligible for a share of advertising revenue, to submit photographic identification to AU10TIX. Now, reports suggest the Israeli firm may have exposed users’ private information for over a year after administrator credentials leaked online.

The potentially exposed data includes users’ names and dates of birth and scans of personal documents such as passports and drivers’ licenses. The security breach impacts not only X users but also other companies AU10TIX contracted for, such as TikTok and Uber.

The requirement for verified users to submit their information to AU10TIX had been controversial due to reports that Ron Atzmon formerly worked for Shin Bet. Shin Bet is a partner agency of Israel’s Aman (military intelligence) and Mossad (foreign intelligence) agencies.

Zuckerberg is Attempting to Rig the Election Again. This Time Through Instagram!?

Mark Zuckerberg’s Instagram is limiting users’ exposure to “political content” ahead of the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Instagram had already imposed a requirement to “opt-in” to seeing political content, described in the app as content “likely to mention governments, elections or social topics that affect a group of people and/or society at large,” from users they do not follow. Now, the app restores political content limits every time users exit the app, requiring them to opt back in again through an obtuse series of menus.

A spokesman for Instagram parent company Meta claims users who have previously opted in to political content being opted back out again is an “error,” and the platform is “working on getting it fixed.” However, users were still being opted out of political content each time they exit the app as of the time of writing, 9:55 AM EST.

Zuckerberg and his platforms, principally Facebook, Instagram, and failing X (formerly Twitter) rival Threads, have been accused of election interference for many years.

The Facebook founder’s Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) pours vast sums of ‘Zuckerbucks’ into what are supposed to be improved voter access initiatives, such as new absentee ballot drop boxes. However, the schemes overwhelmingly benefit Democratic-leaning areas, with election integrity groups arguing they grant leftists greater voting access than conservatives and are, therefore, unlawful.

The CTCL is already intervening in this year’s election, directing election officials on how to use public money to “improve election operations.”

Facebook has also censored Americans at the Biden regime’s direction, particularly on the question of vaccine safety.

Head of LGBT Maryland Dems Sent Nudes, Rape Fantasy Texts to Minor.

The head of the Maryland Democratic Party’s LGBT caucus allegedly sought to arrange a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old minor by text. Michael Knaapen admits the texts, which include nudes and an expressed desire to rape the supposed child and film the encounter, are real. However, he claims he did not really intend to meet the minor and engage in the acts.

Alex Rosen, who routinely confronts adults who message people they believe to be minors, recorded the confrontation in Montgomery County, Maryland. Rosen notes Knaapen had given out his home address, undermining his claims he did not want to meet in person.

Knaapen insists his stated desire to “rape” the child was a “fantasy” the minor “seemed to enjoy.” Rosen shows screenshots of the chats on X, formerly Twitter.

FORM.

Visitor logs reveal that Knaapen visited the White House three times last year. He is only the latest Biden regime ally to face accusation of sexual conduct involving minors.

The courts sentenced another Maryland Democrat, Patrick Wojahn, to 30 years in prison last year on 140 counts of possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material. Wojahn also visited the White House several times and was known as a close confidant of Transport Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

In 2022, The National Pulse exposed former Biden regime official Sam Brinton. The Energy Department fired the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence drag queen after he was arrested for stealing women’s luggage from airports on official business.

MeidasTouch Chief Likens His Work to Political Arson, Gloats Over Posting Fake Clips.

Ron Filipkowski, Editor-in-Chief of the far-left MeidasTouch Network, has likened his organization’s behavior on social media to criminal arson, “dropping a burning ember in a dry forest” and creating a “big blaze” of fake news within hours.

MeidasTouch, praised by the Joe Biden regime as its “front lines” on social media, launched its most successful arson attack to date in March with the “bloodbath” hoax. The network deceptively edited a clip of Donald Trump talking about a metaphorical bloodbath for the auto industry under Biden and presented it as though he was threatening political violence if he loses the election in November. Biden disseminated the same misinformation.

“Right-wingers have been clipping Democrats, clipping Biden, with deceptive posts,” Filipkowski alleged, implying his own output is deceptive with the rhetorical question, “Why aren’t the Democrats doing this to Trump?”

Founded by brothers Jordan, Brett, and Ben Meiselas, linked to the Hillary Clinton campaign and accused sex trafficker Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, a.k.a. Puff Daddy, one of MeidasTouch’s early funders was the Lincoln Project. The Never Trump group was co-founded by John Weaver, who had to resign after he was accused of sexual harassment and grooming by over 20 young males, including a 14-year-old.

Another controversial MeidasTouch backer is LinkedIn billionaire Reid Hoffman. The portly plutocrat is a Democrat megadonor who has also funded Nimarata ‘Nikki’ Haley’s primary challenge against Trump, E. Jean Carroll’s lawsuit against Trump, and Fusion GPS, responsible for the Russia hoax Steele Dossier against Trump. Hoffman is also a former guest of child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s private island.

MeidasTouch hosts several highly controversial contributors, including Michael Cohen, the convicted perjuror and disbarred lawyer, and ‘Coach D,’ who believes America’s Founding Fathers were all white supremacist pedophiles.

REPORT: Israeli Govt Drops $2 Million on Social Media Op Targeting U.S. Lawmakers.

The Israeli government is behind a massive influence operation targeting U.S. lawmakers and the American public at large using fake social media accounts and decoy websites with tailored pro-Israel content meant to appeal to specific political ideologies. Israeli political marketing firm Stoic was contracted to run the operation by Israel’s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs in the wake of Hamas‘s October 7, 2023, terrorist attacks against the Jewish state.

With a budget of an estimated $2 million, Stoic was tasked with promoting support in the U.S. for Israeli military actions in Gaza aimed at eliminating Hamas. The operation, which remains active, deployed hundreds of fake accounts on the social media platforms X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram, posing as Americans and pushing pro-Israel messaging. These fake social media accounts primarily focused on flooding the replies of U.S. lawmakers. Additionally, black lawmakers saw the highest degree of engagement from the accounts. The National Pulse reported in April on a similar “spamouflage” operation run by the Chinese government.

FAKE NEWS & ANARCHISTS.

The Fake Reporter, an Israeli disinformation watchdog, first exposed the influence operation in March. However, according to a June 5 report released by the watchdog group, the operation went far beyond attempting to influence U.S. politics through social media posts. The report reveals an extensive network of social media accounts and decoy websites pushing pro-Israeli, anti-Arab, and anti-Palestinian messaging. Each website appears tailored to appeal to a specific political ideology, including far-left anarchists.

“One of the websites presents itself as anarchist and anti-establishment, appealing to young idealists who share these values,” the report states, adding: “It opposes the establishment of a Palestinian state, arguing that anarchists should reject all state structures, including new state creation.”

While both Instagram and Facebook say they’ve shut down the operation on their platforms, it appears to remain active on X. However, analysis by the Fake Report suggests that despite Stoic’s $2 million budget, the Israeli influence operation has had little impact—impeded by its sloppy execution.

NY May Regulate Tech Algorithms That Promote Content To Children.

New York state lawmakers are on the brink of enacting landmark legislation that would bar tech platforms such as Instagram and TikTok from utilizing algorithms to curate social media feeds for users under the age of 18. Governor Kathy Hochul (D-NY) is reportedly close to an agreement with lawmakers in Albany that would secure the bill’s passage.

The proposed legislation mandates social media companies to display posts chronologically, bypassing algorithm-driven content streams for minors. Proponents believe this change will mitigate the addictive nature of these platforms and reduce the mental health toll on young users. Additionally, the bill aims to halt late-night and early-morning notifications to minors without parental consent.

Governor Hochul criticized social media companies at a recent Albany press event, accusing them of “bombarding young people with these absolutely addictive algorithms.” A corresponding Senate bill echoes similar concerns, arguing that children are particularly vulnerable to the addictive qualities of content algorithms used by social media companies.

The legislation is backed by a bipartisan group of state legislators and New York Attorney General Letitia James. Meanwhile, TechNet — a trade organization representing major tech firms like Google, Meta, and Amazon — has opposed the bill, as has the industry-funded Chamber of Progress.

New York’s move to regulate social media and addictive algorithms follows a similar action in Florida, which requires parental consent for social media use by minors under the age of 14. The National Pulse previously reported that the United Kingdom is considering restricting smartphone sales to children under the age of 16.

The New York legislative session concludes on Thursday, providing a limited window for lawmakers to pass the measure. Should it pass, Governor Hochul is expected to sign it into law, though legal challenges and enforcement issues may follow.

‘Ex’ CIA Staff, Contractors Tried to Take Over Twitter’s ‘Content Management’ System.

The latest installment of the Twitter Files, authored by Michael Shellenberger, Matt Taibbi, and Alex Gutentag, reveals “ostensibly ‘former’ IC [Intelligence Community] and CIA analysts were involved in a 2021-2022 effort to take over Twitter’s content management system,” despite the fact “the law strictly prohibits” employees and contractors of the Central Intelligence Agency from “spying upon or running clandestine operations against American citizens on U.S. soil.”

The takeover attempt also involved Nina Jankowicz, who led Joe Biden’s infamous Disinformation Governance Board, a.k.a. the “Ministry of Truth,” and Jim Baker, a former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) General Counsel and Twitter Deputy General Counsel, who pushed the Russiagate hoax at the former and the censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop scandal at the latter.

“These existing or former IC employees, contractors, or intermediaries weren’t satisfied with simply controlling Twitter. They also wanted to use PayPal, Amazon Web Services, and GoDaddy in a totalizing effort to de-platform, de-monetize, and excommunicate from the Internet entirely those individuals that the IC et al. deems to be a threat,” Shellenberger reports.

Shellenberger and his colleagues have been given access to internal communications at Twitter, now rebranded X, by South African tech billionaire Elon Musk, who took over the social media platform in April 2022.

Musk previously revealed that the FBI operated a portal it used to demand sweeping censorship measures on Twitter, “so broad that they accidentally demanded a suspension of a journalist on CNN and an elected Canadian politician.”

However, Musk has been unable to publicize all of these communications, as the FBI auto-deleted them — likely in violation of the Freedom of Information Act.

‘Orban Next!’ Pro-Ukraine Accounts Celebrate Assassination Attempt on Slovak PM Fico.

Pro-Ukraine social media accounts are cheering the shooting of Robert Fico, the Prime Minister of Slovakia. The 59-year-old European Union (EU) and NATO leader, an ally of Hungary’s Viktor Orban, has opposed continuing to fund the Western proxy war with Russia in Ukraine, as well as the sanctions duel that has disrupted European energy supplies while having no meaningful impact on Russia’s growing economy.

“Hero!” declared one user of the suspect. He posted a separate message asking, “Victor [sic] Orban you watching?” — as if to suggest the Trump ally, who also opposes open-ended support for Ukraine, will be shot if he doesn’t change his stance.

Other users echoed this sentiment, with one user posting “Orban should take notice” and many users, often with the Ukrainian flag by their name, posting messages reading “Orban next” or “Orban is next.”

“Karma. In the future, all Kremlin vassals will have to take this into account,” gloated one user.

“Finally, some good news,” reacted a user with Hungarian, European Union, and Ukrainian flags in their handle.

“Soon he will meet [P]rigozhin in the hell [sic],” added another user, who also included the Ukrainian flag and the hashtags #Fuckrussia #Fuckputin #SlavaUkraini #NATO and #NATOWAVE in their account biography. Yevgeny Prigozhin was the leader of Russia’s Wagner Group, who died in a plane crash last year.

Fico’s condition and the identity and motive of his shooter were unknown as of the time of publication.

Ireland to Tech Giants: Censor Social Media or Face ‘Consequences.’

Ireland‘s Electoral Commission Chief Executive Art O’Leary is demanding that Big Tech companies censor social media platforms or face “reputational consequences.” O’Leary wants tech giants to squash so-called “disinformation” that can damage “democracy.”

“They [social media companies] are very conscious that their platforms are a place where quite serious damage can be done to democracy,” O’Leary said. “The implications for social media companies [if they fail to act on disinformation] aren’t good. To be accused after the event of having impacted on the outcome of an election is huge,” O’Leary continued.

The kind of “disinformation” from which O’Leary wants to protect “democracy” appears to be anything that could help right-wing parties in the upcoming Irish and European elections. Reports the Irish Examiner: “Garda Security & Intelligence and broadcasting regulator Coimisiún na Meán, which is charged with dealing with disinformation and online harm more generally, are increasing their level of cooperation to investigate disinformation from the far-right, which is expected to ramp up in the next few weeks.”

Ireland has been rocked by widespread popular protests against the government’s mass migration policies, with another major organized protest planned in Dublin on Saturday. A recent poll found that half of the Irish population now wants checkpoints at the Northern Irish border to keep out waves of asylum seekers. Such border checkpoints at the border were once seen as symbols of British oppression.

As in much of the European Union (EU), right-wing populist candidates in Ireland are expected to see a significant surge of support in the upcoming European elections. The EU, equally concerned about right-wing electoral success, has begun mobilizing a mass online censorship plan.
