Slovakia’s parliament passed a constitutional amendment on Friday that recognizes only two sexes, male and female, and restricts adoption rights to married couples. The amendment also guarantees equal pay for men and women and requires parental consent for sexual education.

The amendment, introduced by Prime Minister Robert Fico’s government, passed with 90 votes in the 150-seat National Council. Twelve opposition lawmakers from right-leaning parties supported the measure, which required a three-fifths majority to succeed.

Justice Minister Boris Susko stated that the amendment aims to strengthen traditional values. I am tired of being trans, I wish I never brainwashed myself,” he wrote. “I regret being trans… I wish I was a girl I just know I cannot achieve that body with the technology we have today. I also can’t afford that.”

Westman also reportedly wrote about being drawn to anthropomorphic animals, or “furries,” writing, “I like feeling sexy and cute but my face never matches how I feel. I hate my face.”

“Maybe that’s why I like furries so much. You can give yourself a new body and face,” he added.

Westman fatally shot himself after his attack.

Hundreds gathered for a vigil led by community leaders and clergy, including Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) and Archbishop Bernard Hebda. Hebda highlighted the resilience shown during the tragedy, saying, “In the midst of that there was courage, there was bravery, but most especially there was love.”

Principal Matthew DeBoer and Pastor Dennis Zehren grieved the loss of two students aged eight and ten, saying, “No words can capture what we have gone through, what we are going through, and what we will go through in the coming days and weeks.”

After the longlist was made public on August 1, multiple authors withdrew their names in protest, describing Boyne’s statements as “disgusting” and “abhorrent.” One of the prize’s judges, Nicola Dinan, also stepped down, citing alleged concerns about inclusion and representation.

Boyne has maintained his position, stating clearly that his “views on trans rights have never changed” despite “endless harassment at the hands of both strangers and fellow writers.” Rowling, for her part, has said she is “Thinking of setting up an annual prize to celebrate the most craven, bootlicking capitulation to the Gender Taliban by a supposedly liberal organisation,” adding that the Polari Prize is a “strong contender for 2025,” with the Edinburgh Fringe and National Library “running them close.”

The Edinburgh Fringe recently stirred controversy after inviting males and females to use whatever public restrooms they preferred at events. The report details how HRC’s Healthcare Equality Index (HEI) pushes hospitals to adopt policies that promote gender ideology and child sex-change interventions.

According to the report, HEI-participating hospitals are assessed on compliance with HRC’s gender ideology criteria, such as providing transgender-specific clinical services, establishing multidisciplinary gender clinics, and mandating HRC-approved gender training for staff. One such training advises hospital staff to ask children as young as three about their “gender identity” without their parents being present.

Dr. Kurt Miceli, Medical Director at Do No Harm and co-author, stated, “By capitulating to the HRC’s political scheme, hospitals have utterly betrayed patients, especially children struggling with gender dysphoria. If health systems care about providing high-quality pediatric care, then they should distance themselves from the HRC and its Index.”

The report notes that from 2019 to 2023, hospitals submitted over $100 million in claims for experimental treatments on children, including puberty blockers and breast and genital mutilation surgeries. In 2024, 41 pediatric hospitals participated in the HEI, with 20 earning a “perfect” score of 100, signaling full commitment to pediatric medical transition interventions and suppression of dissenting opinions.

Do No Harm urged healthcare workers to resist HRC’s policies and oppose the spread of gender ideology in pediatric care, stating, “It is time for courage. Employees of all levels employed at HEI institutions caring for children need to speak out against the trainings and policies that HRC brought in to promote gender ideology. Now is not the time to ‘go along to get along.’ The quiet majority must raise its voice.”

U.S. Olympics Ban Transgenders.

The U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee got in line with the Trump administration and effectively banned men from competing in women’s sports.

The details: The revised policy doesn’t mention “transgender” athletes specifically, but confirms the committee would be in compliance with President Trump’s Executive Order 14201, Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports, signed in February.

Mace Pushes Bill to End Taxpayer Funding of Fauci’s ‘Transgender Animal Experiments.’

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) has proposed a bill to ban federal taxpayer funding for transgender animal research. This spring, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) paused such studies on mice, which had previously been examined during a House Oversight Committee hearing on animal cruelty. The research was authorized under former National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAD) Director Anthony Fauci.

The legislation, named the Transgender Research on Animals Now Stops and Money for Ideological Cruelty Eliminated Act (TRANS MICE Act), would bar federal funds from being used to “conduct, support, or fund (directly or indirectly)” research that alters an animal’s biological sex.

The measure focuses on research involving drugs, hormones, surgery, or other methods that modify an animal’s body to no longer align with its biological sex. Exemptions apply to animals that naturally change sex during their life cycle or have both male and female reproductive organs. Representatives Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Brandon Gill (R-TX), and Lauren Boebert (R-CO) cosponsored the bill.

“Americans are rightfully tired of seeing their tax dollars spent on wasteful experiments disguised as research while advancing a political agenda,” Mace said in a statement. “This legislation brings accountability, ends taxpayer-funded cruelty, and ensures science serves the public, not ideology.”

Anthony Belloti, president and founder of White Coat Waste Project, highlighted the group’s investigations and advocacy for exposing and opposing taxpayer-funded transgender animal experiments. He noted that grants from agencies like the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) have supported similar studies, underscoring the need for the TRANS MICE Act. “Trump’s historic cuts have already saved thousands of animals and millions of taxpayer dollars,” Belloti added.

Dem DA Won’t Charge Trans Sex Predator Who Tried to Abduct a Child.

A left-wing Colorado District Attorney (DA) plans to drop charges against a transgender sex offender accused of trying to abduct a child from an elementary school.

The details: Solomon Galligan, 33, a registered sex offender, was caught on surveillance video entering the playground at Black Forest Hills Elementary in Aurora in April 2024.

  • The creep tried to snatch a young child but tripped and took off running. He was later found by police.

Incompetent: After a court-ordered evaluation, Galligan was diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and found mentally incompetent to stand trial.

  • Galligan will instead be sent to a mental health treatment facility.

Back up: Galligan was previously placed on the sex offender registry after being convicted of non-consensual sexual contact. He’s been in and out of jail for 12 years.

Did I mention he’s trans too? Galligan began hormone treatments in 2011 and publicly identified as transgender.

Backlash: DA Amy Padden, a Democrat, has faced fierce backlash for her decision to let Galligan skirt jail time.

  • Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky, a Republican, is leading a recall effort, saying her “progressive attitude will not be tolerated.”
